Prolouge: Previously...View OnlineTraitor // Book 5Prolouge: Previously...Previously in the story... "Hello Cadence", Twilight smirked, standing in the Throne Room of the Crystal Empire. "Leave Twilight", Cadence said. "You aren't any good here." "Who said it was just me?" Twilight asked. She used her magic to make appear Shining Armor, with a collar around his neck. "Don't you dare hurt him!" Cadence said, shooting a ball of her magic at Twilight. She easily dodged the magic. "I'm not a fool", Twilight said. "Here's a deal." "What deal would you possibly want?" "You give me your Empire, I give you half of your subjects and your husband." "Why would you want my Empire!?" Cadence yelled. "She wants to defeat Celestia", Shining Armor sighed. "And right now, the Wonderbolts are attacking Ponyville under my command", Twilight smirked. "If you say no, I'll fight you." The Princess sighed. "Hand him over first." Twilight used her magic to make the collar disappear. Shining Armor ran over to Cadence, and hugged her. "Give me what I want," Twilight groaned. Cadence gave Twilight her crown. "There", Princess Cadence said. "My crown. Think anything you want and it becomes real." "Perfect", Twilight smiled. Suddenly, Princess Cadence had a rope around her neck. She began choking, and fell to the floor. "Take off that rope, now!" Shining Armor yelled. But, the same happened to him. And so, the two began choking on the rope getting tighter on their necks, until they were silent on the crystal floor. "Finally, some peace", Twilight said. Changes were made to the Empire. The Crystal Heart was taken by Twilight. She forced a sculptor to make it into a golden necklace, which he did perfectly. Twilight wore the necklace around her neck, with the Crystal Heart as the center piece. The subjects were given duties to fulfill for Twilight. An example, was capture innocent ponies. "This is going to be fun", Twilight laughed. ~~ "Do you really want to go and risk yourself?" Dinky asked. "No", Scootaloo sighed. "Your gonna have to do something", Dinky said. "Princess Cadence and Shining Armor are missing." "But I just saw them yesterday!" Scootaloo yelled. "I swear to Celestia." "Well, make your decision soon", Dinky said. "Because, you'll need it." "Noted", Scootaloo groaned. Scootaloo made a little bed out of blankets and pillows on the floor next to her bed for Dinky. "Does Derpy know your here?" Scootaloo asked. "To be honest, I don't know", Dinky said, getting comfortable on the 'bed'. "What if she gets out of doing all this, where is she going to find you?" Scootaloo asked. "She knows the first place I would go is where you would go", Dinky said. "And, your here." Scootaloo chuckled. "I need to go and get some dinner", Scootaloo sighed. "Do you want something?" "I'd like some Grass Sandwiches", Dinky laughed. "Sure", Scootaloo said, heading out before dark. She went down the path to the Mess Hall for some dinner. She made inside and trotted up to the counter. A colt came up to the counter on the other side. Scootaloo ordered her meal - three Grass Sandwiches - and paid the colt. Scoot made it back to the dorm room, and put the Styrofoam box on the table that held the sandwiches. "I'm back!" Scootaloo said, looking at the side of her bed - but Dinky was gone. Scootaloo panicked. She looked at the floor, to see feathers. And, the color was purple. Rumble said to consider, and she just did.
Chapter 1: FateView OnlineTraitor // Book 5Chapter 1: FateDo you expect the villain to come and ask to be locked up? To never see the outside world again - all because of a foolish crime that had grown to dictatorship? Do you expect the world to be regular once again, when it's rulers are killed - or destroyed of their magic forever? Honestly, do you think that the subjects will forgive and forget, and restore to it's former glory? Sadly, the life in Equestria is more than a fairytale out of a foal's bedtime story. It is depressing, sad, and unhealthy, sadly to say. But before the rule of The Traitor, the world was peaceful and not destroyed. The ponies chatted outside, the foals played on the swings and laughed. But that was the past. About three months ago - 90 moons. This story has been through many bumps, bruises, and soon it will go through wounds. ~~ Three ponies in particular, have somehow survived through this mess of hatred and power. Two of them, regular ponies. One of them, the one who created this mess. The one who's mistakes creature chaos within Equestria. That pony, was Scootaloo. The pony who saw her mother dead, the pony who's choice that can change the fait of Equestria, and the pony whom is planning to avenge all the dead ponies. Princess Cadence, Fluttershy, Princess Luna, Shining Armor, and sadly - more. Nopony has hope in her, but nopony has hope in this world anymore. They expect the hero to come and save the day. How can you do that when the Princess of Friendship and the Wonderbolts are working side to side? There is no possible way. But if there was, how could you find out? ~~ "Scootaloo, we've been hiding in Baltimare 14 moons now", one of the three said. Her horn lit the way through the allies of the city Baltimare. "I know, but we can't leave for another two moons", the orange Pegasi said. She trotted behind the Unicorn, keeping her head down and her messy hair covering her upper face. "We need shelter now", the colt Pegasi muttered, following the two mares. "Were working on that Rumble", the Unicorn said. She found a place behind a corner. There was a partial amount of cover, and the ground underneath it was not even wet. "Can we stay here?" Scootaloo asked. "Dinky's decision", Rumble said. "If she can do that protection spell." "Yup I can", Dinky said, casting her magic around the three. The wall of magic kept them secure. "Who's most tired?" Rumble yawned. "I am", Scootaloo said, curling up in the corner against the brick wall. The other two nodded at each other as they sat and watched the night sky for any signs of The Traitor. But, the night sky was clear with little stars shining due to the light pollution. "How does it feel", Rumble whispered suddenly, looking up at the sky. "How does it feel what?" Dinky whispered back, still looking at the sky. "How does it feel to be best friends with the most wanted pony in Equestria?" Rumble asked. Dinky sighed. "You always ask me something like this when you and I are on patrol", Dinky said. "Because I need to fully understand this", Rumble said. "Understand what?" Dinky asked. "Nothing", Rumble said. He just got up, and sat in the corner next to Scootaloo, his body leaning against the wall. Dinky just sat where she was at the edge of the shield, and looked at the dim stars. Boom, boom, bam. Firecrackers. That's a signal. But, Scootaloo wasn't up. She was sleeping. Dinky quickly got up and turned to Rumble. "It's time to go", Dinky said. Rumble nodded, as he had saw the firecrackers also. Dinky pushed all her energy to teleport them, and she did. Manehattan, "Are we okay now?" Rumble asked. "Well, were in an ally", Dinky muttered. "And Scootaloo sleeping." "I'll wake her", Rumble said. ~~ "Did you find them?" The Traitor asked firmly, staring at the guard in front of her. "No, but we found this", the guard said, sticking his hoof out to show a locket. In the shape of a heart. The Traitor opened it, to find Scootaloo and Fluttershy hugging. Scootaloo was young in the photo. Fluttershy was smiling, she looked happy. A tear fell from her eye and hit the locket as she closed it. She passed it to the guard back. "Put that in my room", she said. "But Princess Twilight-", the guard began. "I said, put it in", Twilight snapped. The guard sighed, but went on to his quest. "This is my fate", Twilight sighed, looking at the ground below her.
Chapter 2: Hold OnView OnlineTraitor // Book 5Chapter 2: Hold On"Girls, I'm nervous", Applejack said. "What if Twilight's after us?" "Nonsense, Applejack", Rainbow Dash said. "I could knock her out cold." "I don't know...", Pinkie Pie said. "She went after Fluttershy. We've been hiding for three months, also!" "Can we also get a decent meal?" Rarity asked. The four ponies sat on one of the benches at the Train Station - in Ponyville. "After we get to Appleloosa", Applejack. "Some of the relatives are allowing us to stay for awhile." The train pulled up to the station, and they all boarded. Some other ponies quickly got on, before it took off to the next station. "But what's our plan if Twilight tries to get us?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Then, we'll all say our goodbyes", Applejack answered. "There's no hope in this world anymore." Rarity sighed. "I miss Fluttershy", she said. "We all do", Pinkie Pie responded back. After a few minutes of silence and the faint chatting from the next cart, they arrived at Manehattan. Ponies boarded the train, and it took off again. "Rainbow Dash, have you been able to talk to Scootaloo?" Applejack asked. "I haven't heard from that squirt since the beginning", Rainbow Dash said. You could hear from the other cart that the Conductor was coming. The four got their tickets out, ready to give them to the Conductor. "I hope she's okay", Rarity said. "She probably-", Applejack was cut off when she looked up to see the Conductor, was Twilight. "Hello girls", Twilight said. She frowned. "What do you want from us now!?" They all said at the same time. "I'm not hear to hurt you", Twilight said, walking formally past them, and the girls huddled together in fear. Twilight turned around when she made it to the other end of the cart. "I came here because I found this", Twilight said. She walked over, and took the locket out from under her wing. "That's Scootaloo's", Pinkie Pie said. "I know it is", Twilight said, using her magic to give the locket to the girls. Rarity took it with her magic. "What's the point of this, Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked. "You obviously want something." "I do want something", Twilight said. "I want forgiveness." "Why do you want us to forgive you?" Applejack asked. "Because, I've done horrible things in this period of time", Twilight said. "You still keep Celestia hostage", Rarity spat. "If you won't forgive me, fine", Twilight said. "I have better." With her magic, Twilight made appear five ponies - but they were grey. They were discorded. The five discorded ponies were Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and an alive discorded Fluttershy. "How did you do that!?" Applejack yelled. "With a little help from my friends", Twilight smiled. Babs Seed, Fleet Foot, and Spitfire walked into the cart. "Babs Seed!?" Applejack asked. "Sorry cous', but I gotta job to do", Babs Seed said. "Spitfire?" Rainbow Dash asked, stepping out of the huddle. "You joined Twilight?" "You honestly think that I would let my team fall?" Spitfire chuckled. "Come on Rainbow Dash, you know better." "Join me, girls", Twilight said. "We can rule the world, together." "Never!" Pinkie Pie hissed. "Why in the name of Equestria would we join you?" Rarity asked. "Because you will die under Twilight's power if you don't!" Discorded Rarity spat. "You can join the Wonderbolts, Rainbow Dash", Fleet Foot said. "All you need to do is say yes." Rainbow Dash gulped. "Come on cous', you can expand Sweet Apple Acres across the world!" Babs said. "Rarity, you can make your fashion the biggest thing in Equestria", Twilight said. "Join us." "Fine." "What!?" The other three ponies stared at Rainbow Dash. "I'll join the Wonderbolts," Rainbow Dash said. Spitfire smirked. Fleet Foot had worry in her eyes. Rainbow Dash walked over to join the villains. "Come on girls, join us", Spitfire said.
Chapter 3: Fly AwayView OnlineTraitor // Book 5Chapter 3: Fly Away"We have to go and fight Twilight", Scootaloo said. "She's searching for me." "That doesn't mean you fight", Dinky said. "You need a little help." "From who?" Scootaloo asked. "Let's just say I know where your real mom is and she may help us", Dinky chuckled. "Is Lightning Dust in Manehattan?" Scootaloo asked. "Yes she is!" Dinky jumped. Rumble came outside from the restaurant with food in a Styrofoam box. "I got Grass Sandwiches", Rumble said. "Where is she?" Scootaloo asked Dinky. "Follow me", Dinky said, trotting along the cobblestone path along the road. Taxis passed by as they turned corners, and the three stopped at a townhouse. They climbed the stairs, and knocked on the door. Thunderlane opened the door. "Can I help y- Rumble?" "Dad!?" Rumble asked, surprised. "Why are you at Lightning Dust's house?" "Uh...", Thunderlane's voice lowered into a mumble. He stared at the ground. Lightning Dust came up to the door. Her eyes were stained. "Let them in, you jerk", Lightning Dust said, shoving him aside to make room for the three to walk in. Thunderlane closed the door, and groaned. "Is it the wrong time?" Dinky asked. "No, no, it's just there's something wrong with Cloudchaser", Thunderlane said from behind them. "What's wrong with mom!?" Rumble freaked out. "She broke one of her wings, and she got sick suddenly", Lightning Dust sighed. She motioned for the three to follow, and she went down the hallway to a room. There was a bed with plain white sheets, and laying in it was Cloudchaser. "Mom!" Rumble yelled, quickly flying to her side. Cloudchaser opened her eyes. "Hi Rumble", She weakly smiled. "A-are you okay?" Rumble asked. "Not really", Cloudchaser whispered. Dinky and Scootaloo hung back in the doorway, while Thunderlane and Lightning Dust stood behind Rumble. "You'll get better, I promise", Rumble said, hugging her. "I don't know Rumble", Cloudchaser said. "I don't want to live in this world anymore. Twilight's taking over, and I can't take it. She's forcing all the Wonderbolts to go in and protect her in the raid for every country. I don't want to do that." "You have to stay", Rumble whispered, releasing. "No, I can't", Cloudchaser said. "Your not leaving me", Rumble gritted through his teeth. Dinky sniffled. "I can't change that", Cloudchaser whispered. "I'm too sick, anyway. My wing hurts. My heart hurts. This world is too cruel. There's no friendship anymore." "Please don't go", Rumble said, sniffling. Cloudchaser closed her eyes. "Don't you dare do this to me", Rumble gritted. "I love you", Cloudchaser whispered. "Don't you dare leave!" Rumble yelled. "Take this with you", Cloudchaser pointed weakly to the dresser. It had a necklace, the Crystal Heart necklace. "Keep it save, protect Equestria with it", Cloudchaser whispered. Rumble began crying, and so did Thunderlane (silently). "I love you", Cloudchaser whispered. "I-I love you too", Rumble said. Her stomach stopped rising and falling. Rumble began sobbing in full tears, and he hugged Cloudchaser's body. Dinky and Scootaloo went over to Rumble, and hugged his back. After about an hour of mourning, Thunderlane told the three it was time to leave. Rumble took the necklace, and put it on his neck. "I'm sorry", Scootaloo said when they made it outside. "I need time to myself", Rumble said. He gave the sandwiches to Dinky, then flew away through the skies of Manehattan.
Chapter 5: SadlyView OnlineTraitor // Book 5Chapter 5: Sadly"She's dead", Rarity cried. "Why did it have to be Applejack!?" Pinkie Pie cried, staring at the dead body on the kitchen floor. "She never did anything", Rarity sobbed, falling on the floor next to Applejack. A knock hit the door of the hotel room the thr - two were staying in. Pinkie Pie whipped the tears away and answered it. "Hello Pinkie Pie!" Discorded Pinkie Pie grinned. Pinkie Pie slammed the door shut. "Rarity, we have a problem", Pinkie Pie said, turning around. Discorded Pinkie pie banged on the door. "Hello!?" Discorded Pinkie yelled through the door. "What is it?" Rarity barked. "Uhm well, discorded me is after us", Pinkie Pie said. "Why must Twilight schedule bad things to happen everyday!?" Rarity whined. "We have to leave Applejack here", Pinkie Pie sighed. Bang, bang, bang. "Why!?" "Because, we have to run." Rarity sighed. She took Applejack's hat, and the two jumped out the window quickly onto the building's roof next door. The door was pushed down, and Discorded Pinkie Pie groaned as her two victims were gone. ~~ "We have to find a way to end Twilight's games", Dinky said to Rumble. Scootaloo was off doing something the two didn't know. "We can't do anything", Rumble muttered. "I guess, we have to kill her", Dinky said abruptly. Rumble turned to face her. "How!?" "It's simple really", Dinky muttered. "We have to distract her, while one of us stabs her." "She can heal herself though", Rumble said. "Not in this situation she can't", Dinky sighed. Scootaloo came around the corner into the ally. She nodded, and the two walked over to her. "I have big plans for us", Scootaloo said. "Were getting jobs." "How did you get us jobs?" Rumble asked. "We officially work at a bakery", Scootlaoo chuckled. "Uh...", Dinky trailed off. "So we can pay for food, and maybe some clothes would be good", Scootaloo rolled her eyes. The other two nodded. "Come on, our boss is nice", Scootaloo smiled, showing the way. ~~ "They really are similar, aren't they?" Lightning Dust asked Thunderlane. "It's obvious they have something going on", Thunderlane chuckled. "I would just hope your wife would be able to see him grow up more", Lightning Dust sighed. "Don't worry Lightning", Thunderlane said, opening the door for her to walk in. "She sees him." ~~ "Rainbow Dash, you have earned yourself", Twilight smiled. "You didn't betray me." "Why would I?" Rainbow Dash smirked. "Because sadly, there are traitors", Twilight said, frowning. "Like you?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Excuse me?" "Your a traitor. You killed Scootaloo. You left your friends." "Well little-miss-know-it-all", Twilight hissed. "You just earned yourself a death time." "Wait, WHAT!?" With Twilight's magic, Rainbow Dash turned into thin air. Twilight's not a traitor, she just chose a different path to follow. Her friends didn't matter now. She was the ruler of Equestria. Twilight sensed Scootaloo was crying about - something. She grinned. That was probably her fault. Sweet Celestia, was it good to be evil. Twilight looked at her neck for her beautiful Crystal necklace. Gone. How had it disappeared!? It was probably Spitfire who took it. Oh, was she going to get Spitfire. And, might as well get the rest of the world also. "I don't want to fall under chaos, Applejack", Rainbow Dash said. "Then you help us!" Rarity yelled. "I thought you said you would kick Twilight out cold!" Pinkie Pie yelled also. "I'm sorry girls", Rainbow Dash sighed. "Enough sadness", Twilight said. "Well look, Appleloosa. The next stop." The train stopped at the Appleloosa station. "Have fun sleeping tonight", Spitfire chuckled. Fleet Foot sighed. Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack got off the train. The train pulled away, and Rainbow Dash just thought threw what she just did. Did she just join the villains? She can't quit on them now. Rainbow Dash would be killed. That wasn't going to happen. "Fleet Foot, can you order a patrol to Appleloosa?" Twilight asked. "Surely", Fleet Foot nodded. "Spitfire, train your flyers", Twilight reported. "We have a raid to attend." Rainbow Dash just watched Twilight give orders. "You", Twilight said, looking at Rainbow Dash. "I'm Rainbow Dash", Rainbow Dash muttered. "Whatever", Twilight rolled her eyes. "Kill them." "Who?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Kill your friends", Twilight said. "Why!?" "Because, their enemies." "Their your friends too." "No, their not." "Twilight, we have plans", Babs Seed hissed. "I know that Babs Seed", Twilight spat. "What's in it for me, if I kill them?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Then you can become the richest pony in Equestria", Twilight smiled. "You can buy all the cider you want." "Cider", Rainbow Dash muttered. "What if I only kill one of them?" "Then you only get a certain pay", Twilight said. "I'll think about it", Rainbow Dash said. "Think wisely", Twilight said, teleporting herself and the three other villains with her. Rainbow Dash sighed. She could kill her friends and be free forever and rich, or betray Twilight and be killed. Now, it was time to kill some ponies.
