Sweet Apple Acres. The place where the Apple family of Ponyville lived. All four of them Apples.
Cider season was coming up for all the Apples all around Equestria, so it was time to buck all the apples.
The youngest one of them all, Apple Bloom, trotted through the orchards looking for the perfect tree to buck. She could finally show Applejack and Big Mac that she can do the job of a big mare. She trotted down the dirt path, to see Applejack bucking some trees. They all fell into the woven baskets below perfectly, not one landing on the grass.
"Need any help with that?" Apple Bloom asked, stopping on the path.
Applejack just continued onto the next tree, dragging over the baskets on the dirt.
"Guess not", Apple Bloom muttered, continuing to trot along the path.
She came to the end of the path, to see a perfect tree with a ton of apples being ready to fall. Apple Bloom grinned, she found the perfect tree.
She trotted over and got her hind legs in position. She hit the tree, and only a few apples fell. Apple Bloom kicked again, but this time no apples fell.
She muttered something to herself, before picking up all the apples and putting them in her saddlebag. She quickly headed off back to the farm, to find Big Mac plowing the field. Apple Bloom waited until he was done, then she ran over and told him.
"Big Mac look, ah bucked some apples all by myself!" Apple Bloom said, smiling in glee.
Big Mac didn't even acknowledge her, he just walked to the orchards to begin bucking some apples. Cider season was coming up soon.
Apple Bloom sighed. "Are my siblings ignorin' me?" she questioned herself.
Apple Bloom continued on out her day. She bucked some more apples, but nopony acknowledged her when she tried to spread her success with her family, so she went to her room to work on her school project.
The poster about Apples was almost ready, but first Apple Bloom had to add some glitter. She went to her cabinet and opened the drawer. She grabbed the glitter jar, and sprinkled some from the holes inside the cover. But, she only had a tiny bit left. And so, Apple Bloom grabbed some bits and closed the door to her room.
She made her way to the depth of Ponville. She saw Canterlot Boutique, and walked inside the door.
"Sweetie Belle!?" Apple Bloom yelled. "Ya home!?"
Rarity walked down the staircase, humming a familiar song 'Winter Wrap Up'.
"Hiya Rarity!" Apple Bloom said.
Rarity passed by Apple Bloom, over to the sewing machine. She grabbed two pieces of fabric, and began sewing them together.
"Rarity!?" Apple Bloom yelled over the machine. No answer.
Apple Bloom groaned, storming out of the store. She began walking home, but first she stopped at Sugar Cube Corner.
"One cupcake please", she asked Mrs. Cake, sitting down on a stool. But, she just continued washing the counter with a wash cloth.
"Honey, can you get me the counter cleaner?!" Mrs. Cake yelled. Mr. Cake brought down the bottle of counter cleaner, and Mrs. Cake began using it to clean.
"Can ya hear me?!" Apple Bloom yelled, waving her hooves back and forth, but then soon fell off the stool head first.
Apple Bloom groaned, getting up and rubbing her head. She walked out of the sweet shop, and stomped her way home. Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle passed her along the way.
"Have you seen Apple Bloom?" Scootaloo asked.
Apple Bloom stopped in her tracks.
"I'm right here!" she yelled, turning around and getting up on her hind legs. But, it was no use. The two were already in a new conversation.
Apple Bloom got down on all fours again and sighed.
"Ain't no pony hearin' me", she muttered to herself. She continued walking back to Sweet Apple Acres and headed inside her room. Apple Bloom looked at the poster on the floor. It's mighty fine without glitter, anyway.
She kicked it to the side, and sat on her bed.
They must all be playin' a game with me. That must be it! I'll just give em' time.
Apple Bloom just sat and stared at the wooden floor. But then, she yawned.
Maybe I need somethin' to eat.
She got down from the bed, and headed into the kitchen. She opened the refrigerator to find nothing but a juice box. Apple Bloom sighed and took it out, and closed the fridge door. She grabbed the stray with her mouth, and inserted it into the hole. She began sipping in the juice, only to taste something foul.
Apple Bloom looked at the label, and the due date sat 7/12/13.
That was last week. It was 7/19/13.
Apple Bloom ran over to the sink and spit out the juice.
"Ah can't take it!" She yelled, throwing out the juice box. She groaned and stomped her way to her room. She slammed the door and collapsed onto her bed.
Maybe sleep'll work. Maybe they'll stop tomorrow.
Apple Bloom dragged the covers over her body, and she sat on her side. She just stared at the door, before her eyes got heavy and she passed out within minutes.
"Do you really expect us to like you anymore?" Sweetie Belle said.
"You were rude to us, your a horrible friend", Scootaloo added.
"What did I do!?" Apple Bloom said.
"You betrayed us, you went with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon", Sweetie Belle said. "You picked on us."
"I'm sorry", Apple Bloom said, crying. "I'm sorry."
Apple Bloom's eyes opened up. She sat up from her bed, looking out the window. It was still sunny. She got up, and went to the kitchen for something that's not expired.
"Hiya Apple Bloom!" Applejack said, walking in.
"Applejack?" Apple Bloom said, staring at her sister.
"Yes?" Applejack asked.
"... How long have I been asleep?" Apple Bloom asked.
"I'd say, about 11 hours...", Applejack said. "Why?"
It was just a dream - thank ya Celestia.
"No reason", Apple Bloom smiled, hugging her sister.
