Author's Note

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Hello all you readers, I would like to take a moment to thank a few people in this final author's note. First, I would like to thank Jd, my editor, who without him this would be a fairly bad story. Next, I would like to thank anyone who has ever served in any armed forces for making such a great sacrifice for other people who take them for granted. Third, I would like to thank all of my English teachers because without them, I would not be able to write this. Next I would like to thank you, the reader, who stuck with this story to the end. Finally will say that I will be uploading at least one alternate ending so some of you might be interested in that.

Subject: Gunnery Sergeant Raymond D. James Psychological State

Classification: Confidential Eyes Only

Regards,
Cvetkov

Unfortunately he saw no faults with the confidential document he had received and began writing up papers related to demotions and duty rosters.

“Well shit Ray, I hope you can get over whatever happened to you downrange because Lord knows we need people like you.”

A lone unicorn wandered up a hill a little outside the boundaries of Ponyville, found a recently buried patch of land. Eventually a glow enveloped a long object and pulled it out of the grave. The unicorn used their magic to explore all the functions of the firearm except the trigger. The unicorn stowed it in a long bag, reburied the body of a human and left making sure they removed their hoofprints.
