Sonic and the Harmony Crystals

In the stormy skies of Mobius, well renowned hero, Sonic the Hedgehog, and his sidekick/best friend, Miles “Tails” Prower, were in the midst of an aerial pursuit of the evil mastermind, Dr. Ivo “Eggman” Robotnik and his fleet of battleships. Once again, the mad scientist had managed to successfully steal the 7 Chaos Emeralds.

“Give those emeralds back, Egghead! The millionth time and you STILL haven’t learned your lesson?” Sonic yelled.

Tails grunted as he fought against the strong winds to keep the Tornado, Tails’ biplane, steady. One mistake could send the plane spinning out of control. “You might wanna hang on to something! This is gonna bumpy ride!” he warned.

Suddenly, The plane shot to the left, barely avoiding a cannonball. “Woah!” Sonic exclaimed.

Meanwhile, inside the leading ship, The Egg Carrier, Dr. Eggman grinned, watching the monitors capture the Tornado’s desperate struggle to keep up. “Dodge all you want, Fox boy! That tiny toy plane is no match for my massive Egg Fleet! HAHAHA!” he laughed into a speaker.

Then Eggman’s dim-witted servants, Orbot and Cubot, got in front of their creator for a better view of the action. “I wouldn’t be so sure about that, boss. Big things come in small packages after all,” Orbot said.

“Big things? What kind of big things? I hope it’s something nice!” Cubot excitedly added.

Eggman shoved the two aside to see the Tornado coming closer. “What?!”

Tails grinned as he shoved the yoke forward. “Just a little more! Don’t fail me now, Tornado!” he exclaimed.

Back on the ship, Dr. Eggman growled then pressed some buttons on the control panel. “I don’t think so,” he said before looking back to the screen not showing an image from one of the ship's cannons, locking onto the biplane. “FIRE!!” Eggman screamed.

The ship fired an energy beam at the Tornado, ripping off the left wing and sending the plane into a spin!

“GAH! We’re hit!!” Sonic exclaimed, holding onto the plane’s roof for dear life!

Tails tried to keep the plane from spinning but it was no use. “Mayday! WE’RE GOING DOWN!!” he screamed.

The Tornado continued to spin as it fell out of the sky towards what seemed like a cone-shaped cloud. A bolt of lightning struck the tail of the plane just as it disappeared below the surface.

Just before blacking out, Sonic could see that the dark and stormy sky gave way to a bright and grassy field with a beautiful and colorful town in the distance.

...Then everything went black...
