Sweetie's Growth Problems

Chapter 1

A knocking at Anon's door causes his concentration to break, ruining the line he was inking. He didn't know how to feel about it. Glad that he now had an excuse to stop trying on something he didn't like or annoyed since it threw off his groove. Without reaching a conclusion, he goes to see who it was.

It was Rarity. And her hair looked like it's been through a lot since its normal shape was gnarled with loose strands hanging every which way. The makeup she wore was slightly matted. “Anonymous, good afternoon!” she said while appearing enthusiastic, “It has been much too long since I've seen you, how have you been?”

“Uh... good?” Anon's thought process stalled. First from the annoyance that someone interrupted his practice, to seeing an Element of Harmony, to trying to figure out why she looks so worn out, and finally thinking about a reason she would come over. “How are you?” he said absent-mindedly.

“Fantastic! Oh that's something I've always liked about you, so thoughtful,” she said, “and might I add the rugged look suits you well. That facial hair could positively erode sapphires to dust. I take it you aren't doing anything for awhile then?”

Anon rubs his face. It has been some time since he has shaved, and he wondered how long it's been since he's gone out looking nice. A slight twinge of shame goes down his person when it occurs to him  that she isn't how well she normally dresses. “Well, you know, just doing stuff... at home.” He stops before saying alone. “And what are you doing?”

Rarity flatters even more, “Oh there's your caring nature again, so thoughtful. I'm working hard, but took some time out of my busy schedule to see my dear friend. And we are friends, right?”

“Yes?” Anon says while trying to think about the last time he's seen her.

“Good friends, right?” She questions while moving a little closer.

“...yes?”

“And good friends do favors for each other, right?” At this point she's in the door's threshold.

Anon slowly nods, his mind blank at this point.

“So you would do a teensy, tiny little favor for me?” She can't get any closer without bumping him.

Her fragrance fills Anon's nostrils and head. Blue eyes below somewhat smeared liner encompass his vision. The idea that this could turn sexual dawns on him. They both stand there for a few seconds, Rarity beaming as hard as possible and Anon gathering his thoughts. He decides to take a chance and press his luck. “...sure?”

“Great.” Rarity steps back outside for a second and ushers Sweetie Belle into the house. “Now remember what I said I love you bye.” She leans over to kiss her younger sister's head and then leaves while closing the door.

Anon stood there, staring at the door. Then he looked at Sweetie, then back at the door. “What?” He opens the door and looks around, but Rarity was nowhere in sight. She had escaped, free from her burden. Turning to see what she had left for him, Anon tries to get a hold on the situation.

There stood Sweetie Belle. Sure he's seen her and heard some stories, but it's been so long that it takes some time to recollect them. She's grown. Not only in height, but in a way he didn't think was even possible.

Boobs.

So big that they looked almost comical on her small frame. The sweater she wore tried to be modest about it but the way the stretching made the knitting further apart at the mounds almost hindered more than it helped.

“...why are you here?” Anon finally asked.

“Someone has to babysit me.” Sweetie replied.

Anon knew nothing about watching over a kid, much lest one with a... he tried to find the right word. Handicap? Disability? Whatever it was, it's definitely gotten worse. Last he remembered, Sweetie's chest was big enough to make adult women jealous, but this is on the brink of ridiculous.

“I can't babysit you,” Anon says, but she doesn't move. He motions out the door. “So, go back to Rarity.”

“She told me not to bother her because she has to finish work.”

“I don't care, that's not my problem.”

“But Rarity said that you were caring and thoughtful.”

“I...” Anon stops as he realizes he's been duped. Element of Generosity, he thought. “Look, I'm busy. Isn't there someone else who can watch over you?”

“No.” Sweetie's words were plain.

“Family?”

“Mom and dad are on a vacation.”

“Friends?”

“Scootaloo is at summer camp and Applebloom is helping a farm at another town.”

“I meant friends of Rarity's.”

“Oh, no.”

Anon tries to think of some. “Fluttershy?”

“She's helping Discord with the Griffins.”

“Applejack?”

“With Applebloom.”

“Uh, Twilight?”

“Princess stuff.”

He stops before saying Rainbow Dash. The things he has heard all point to never asking her to watch children. And asking about Pinkie is asking for trouble.

With a sigh, Anon tries to think this through. This back and forth isn't getting anywhere, and probably won't. If Rarity dropped her off here, there mustn’t be any other options. And why should he? Because she made some goo-goo eyes at him? He couldn't call himself stupid enough times.

“Look, just, I dunno, sit over there or something,” he says while motioning at the kitchen.

“Okay.” And with that, Sweetie walks over and hops onto the bar stool.

What to do, I need to get her out, he thought, but how? First Anon attempts to list friends, but none of them... fit the situation. In fact, he was having difficulty thinking about the last time he hung out. A repeating guilt of being antisocial creeps in again. He starts pacing to help shake it off.

I could just dump her at Rarity's and call it a day, he thought. But that would look bad on me. Well, what do I have to prove anyway? ...what do I have to lose? Or gain? I mean, if I do this, it could place me in Rarity's good graces. Not to get into her pants or anything. Although I wouldn't say no.

He peeks into the kitchen. Sweetie sat there, high enough that she could dangle her feet back and forth without touching the ground. Looks like she was trying to see her shoes over her chest, all while wearing a somber expression.

Anon gave it one more thought. Making a friend with an Element of Harmony would give some spice in his life, which was kind of dull at this time. He shrugged to himself, what's the worse that could happen?

Readying himself, Anon walks up next to Sweetie, who stops moving her feet and looks at him. “How long?” he asks.

“...huh?”

“How long do I have to watch you?”

“I dunno.”

“Probably for the rest of the day, right?”

“I guess so.”

“Listen, just...” Anon tries to think of some ground rules, but he has never had to deal with kids before. On one hand, he can't assume that she has all the common courtesy as an adult, but on the other, he can't leave it to chance. All while not insulting her. “Have you ever been over an adult's house before, one that wasn't a relative?”

Sweetie looks around, as if trying to find the answer. “Yeah, but-”

“Good, act like that.” Problem solved. Wait, is this place ready for a kid? Anon tried to think about how child safe it is. Or what even qualifies as child safe. Maybe she doesn't need it? What's the age limit?

“Okay, but-”

“I gotta go do something,” Anon says while turning to go to the best thing ever invented. Something so amazing that it changed everything forever, yet draws those of weak will into slavery. He prepares himself for... the internet.

Anon noticed it has been an hour since he looked up how to child-proof his house. “Oh fuck me she's dead.” Damning himself for checking up on those threads he's been watching, he gets up to try and find the carcass. Probably got her tits wedged in a blender or something. With every single knife in them.

As he rounds the corner to the kitchen, he prepares. She's not here, Anon thought, what if she left the house? He checks the rooms. Bed. Living. Bath, but should have knocked in hindsight. He stops to think how to-

“Pchoooooo,” Sweetie's voice flows from the den. The same room his computer is in.

Swinging inside, Anon sees Sweetie laying on the floor on top of a big pillow. One that's the same color as her sweater. Wait, that's not a pillow, he realizes. “What are you doing in my man cave?”

Sweetie looks up, “Just playing with the dolls.” Anon didn't remember her bringing in toys. Or any bag, for that matter.

“Those are my figurines!”

“Yeah, the dolls,” Sweetie says while bumping Rei-chan with a titan-class Imperial starship. “Pchkkkkkkk, the monster is dead! But at what cost?” She moves Imperial General Leadstone up. “The brave men and women that died today will never be forgotten. In honor, we will build a meme... memor... mammary... mameriel...”

“They're not dolls!” Anon kneels down and picks them up to inspect the damage. “Why were you even playing with them?”

“You left, so I followed you,” Sweetie says quite innocently, “and you were on the computer. So I played with your do- um, toys.”

“Wait, you were in here the entire time?”

“Uh-huh. I even asked if you wanted to play, but you didn't answer.” Sweetie answers while standing up by placing her knees underneath her and rocking backward.

Anon starts to suspect that he might have a selective attention problem. “Look, you can't just touch my stuff without asking. I spent a lot of time painting these.”

“Wow, really?” Sweetie looks over an I-86 Land Troop Carrier. “I didn't know that.”

“Yes,” Anon says while plucking it out of her grasp, “and mashing them into each other can damage the paint job.” He finishes putting them back on the shelves.

“I didn't hit them hard...” She says under her breath while leaning towards them. “So, if you don't play with them, what do they do?”

“Well, you do play with them. It's a game called Hyperspace Hyperwars. You have to build an army.”

“Oooh... even that big blue haired girl?”

“No, Rei has a special place.” Sweetie give him a look of confusion. “Nevermind.”

“Can I play?”

Anon thinks about it. Kind of hard to understand enough as it is, with all the rules revisions and possible tactics. But it could keep her occupied until it's time for her to leave. “Sure, here,” Anon picks up the sixth edition, “read the rules.”

She takes it from Anon and slowly flips through random pages. “That's a lot of rules.”

“Yes, and if you want to play the game, you have to know them all.”

“I liked my game more.”

“But that's not how you play with these.”

“But it's fun. The sea monster Megagirl was attacking the city and Sargent Green had to fight her.”

“Rei might be a monster in some regards, but that's Imperial General Leadstone.”
