A Babs Seed romance story
The sound of the alarm clocked echoed through my master bedroom. It’s shrill sound pounded in my head reminding me once again that I had forgotten to turn it off. I got up slowly. I stayed up all night showing Babs the whole apartment, and went a little bit out to town. Surprisingly, I saw a lot of these helpmates everywhere; It seemed as if they ranged from classic cartoonish characters like Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, and even a Sandy the Squirrel and then there was the ones that seemed to be modeled after video games like the Anthro pandas from that one really old game, World of Warcraft.
Today was the day I showed her some of my hobbies and what I do for a living. It was a Saturday, so we had plenty of time. (Though why I didn't set my alarm clock to not go off on weekends, I don't know.)
I walked to Babs' room, which the door was wide open, and knocked on the frame of the door. I heard a tired moan from Babs.
"C'mon, Babs, time to get up! It's a big day today."
“I’m tired, five more minutes,” she moaned out.
"Five more minutes, then you're getting up." I said. I was treating her more like a daughter than a companion.
I walked back to my room to get a change of clothes to wear for the day. Since I took a shower last night, I didn't need to take one now until at least the end of the day. I was in my underwear, so I just slipped on a pair of shorts and a shirt with the Electric Lights Orchestra logo on it.
I walked back to Babs room. "It's been five minutes, time to get up now." I said at her door.
“Ugh… Really? That didn’t feel like five minutes. Are you sure I have to get up? Maybe we should time it again,” she said.
"Get up or I'm dragging you out, Barbara Seedling." I commanded, sternly.
Groaning, she pushed the blanket back that had been covering her. She slowly stood in her hockey jersey, and apparently not much else, as she stretched her back out.
“Okay, okay, I’m up, so what are we doing today?” she asked.
"I'm going to show you some stuff, then we can get ice cream later." I knew that'll excite her. In the show, Babs always gets the peach flavored ice cream when she visits the CMC in the later episodes. I always had a keen eye on her in the Friendship is Magic series.
Her ears perked up, “Are you serious? Any flavor?”
"C'mon, you always get peach." I said.
Her tail lifted partly and she nodded, “Well, yeah, but it’s the best kind. I mean sure Apple Bloom always talks about cinnamon apple crunch ice cream, but it’s not nearly as good as peach!”
"We'll go there after we run a few errands." I said.
“Okay, so what kind of errands do you need to run? Are we going to be doing anything kind of exciting? I mean there was this one time that I remember having to help deliver a wedding dress through fire swamp. Sweetie Belle nearly got ate by that huge bear. If it hadn’t been for cousin Applejack I think that we would have been in more trouble than we were,” she said, “So are we doing something like that?”
"We're just picking up some custom records. Now get dressed, we leave in 10 minutes." I said as I left.
Babs followed me around town through the mixture of the previous century and the current one. The various buildings stood against the pavement showing the advancement of the town we were in, and the entire time we walked toward to where the record store stood. Oddly enough, the shop was named after the Rush album, 2112. The sign also had what looked like a red pentagram, like from the album.
We walked inside the record store. The air changed once we were inside. There was the smell of recycled air flowing around us, and it was delivering the scent of old and new vinyl to everyone that walked into the place. It was filled with records labeled and neatly organized in the bins they were in. Giant shelves full of records surrounded us.
Babs walked to the shelves to examine the records and the store itself.
“I don’t think that I’ve seen so many records in one place,” Babs said in awe, "I mean there was that store in Canterlot, but it wasn’t like this.”
"You can pick out ONE record," I told her, "but it has to be ten credits or less, ok?"
“Ten bits, or um, credits for an album? Exactly who’s on these albums?” she asked.
"A lot. Just pick one that most interests you." I said to her as I browsed through the bins.
The owner rushed to see who it was. "Ah, hello Jacob!" He called to me. "How have you been?"
"Eh, doing fine, I guess." I said to the owner.
"I just got your custom vinyl in just yesterday." He said to me, excitedly.
"Oh, you mean the Discovery album?"
"Yeah. Coincidentally, you're wearing a shirt of the artist who made it!"
"Yeah, it was next shirt I got out of my laundry."
“What artist?” she asked as she looked at the albums, “Hey, what’s this album?"
She held the album up, sporting the image of a rural home with a man dressed in a white t-shirt and jeans sitting on the stoop.
“Is this any good?” she asked.
"Ah, that must be the Marshall Mathers LP!" The owner rushed to her, as did I.
"How much?" I asked Babs.
“It says that it’s eleven credits. You did say not to choose anything over ten, so we don’t have to get it,” she said putting it back.
"Yeah. Maybe the LP2 is cheaper. Check for that." I replied
"Do you know this girl?" the shop owner asked.
"Yeah, she's my helpmate. Got her yesterday."
"Ah I see. About a week ago, I saw this one guy come in with his Pinkie Pie. Strangest sight I saw in a long time."
"Anyway, can you get me the custom vinyl I ordered?" I asked.
"Certainly. Let me get it from the back." And he did so.
"Get that instead." I said.
“Okay, but what’s the difference between them? I mean the cheaper one looks newer,” she said.
"One is the original pressing, which is much rarer, and the cheaper one is the newer pressing which is much cheaper."
“I guess that makes sense,” she said holding the new album, “Are we still going for ice cream after this?”
"Yeah, of course."
The owner came back with the vinyl record in the sleeve in his hands. "Since you already paid for it early, I'll give this to you without paying today."
I grabbed the vinyl and took a glimpse at the front cover. It showed an Arabian male with a red bandana holding what looks like to be the Electric Lights Orchestra logo on it. He looks mesmerized at the sight of it, which amuses me everytime I grab the vinyl and look at the front cover.
"Hope that'll replace your old, broken one," he said.
"Oh, we also want to get the Marshall Mathers LP album," I said, looking at Babs with the vinyl in her hand. She handed the record to the owner.
"That'll be eight credits," he said. I gave him the correct amount as we walked out of the store. "Have a great day, you too!" he waved at us as we left.
"All we need to do is test this out at home, then we can get some ice cream," I said to Babs.
“That sounds good to me,” she said holding her new album in her hands. It looked like she was looking over the track titles on the back.
“There’s a song called Stan? That sounds kind of weird,” she said in a whisper.
"That's, like, the best track on there," I said, "Besides maybe Amityville. Which reminds me, how old are you exactly?"
“I’m going to be turning eightteen this week. I mean it’s September right?” she asked.
"Ah, ok," I replied.
We got home and went into my room to play the record. I took the discovery vinyl out of its sleeve and put it on its tray. I flipped the player on and put the needle on the record, starting it. I went back to my seat to observe Babs listening to the record. The sounds of the static filled the air as the record made the first few rotations before it hit the first song .
“What’s this? I know he said it was a custom, but what band is playing?” she asked. Her ears pointed straight ahead.
"Electric Lights Orchestra." I said. "You like it?'
“It sounds kind of like some of the stuff that Vinyl played at that party for Pinkie Pie, but not quite the same… I like it,” she said with a smile crossing her muzzle.
"What kind of party?" I asked
“It was a ‘we’re glad to be part of the Apple family, and Pie family’ after reunion party. Apple Bloom said that was the only time she’d ever seen Sugar Cube Corner so full that they couldn’t fit everypony inside,” she replied.
"Oh..." I said. "So, you wanna finish the rest of this album and get some ice cream?"
“YES!!!!" she said as she thrust her arm into air, a huge smile took place of the small on her muzzle.
Chapter 3: The Seed of Bonding
A Babs Seed Romance Story
"I'll have a Banana Split and a Peach ice cream in a cup," I ordered the guy at the front counter of the ice cream store.
“Okay, so a Banana Split and Peach Ice Cream, now, do you want the Sweet Nectar Acres Peach Ice Cream or regular. We’ve just gotten the Sweet Nectar Acres in, and it’s been selling like crazy. We’ve maybe got another five gallon tub of it before we’re completely out,” he said.
"Babs, you say it," I mumbled to Babs.
“I’ll try the Sweet Nectar Acres Peach ice cream please,” she said.
The ice cream attendant nodded, walked toward the freezer, and began dipping out the cup first. The look of the ice cream was different. It didn’t look like it was chalked full of chemicals, but instead it looked, pure. The scoop didn’t seem to have any trouble gliding through it as he finished scooping it out for the cup.
"So what's up? How are you?" I made small talk to Babs.
“Well, I’m hanging out with one of my best buds, getting some fantastic looking ice cream, and really looking forward to seeing what else the day brings. I kind of wonder what my cousin and her friends are up to though. You know, I remember when all of us were looking at the clubhouse, and we decided to fix it up, and make it into like a camp out cabin,” she said.
"Ah, here's the ice cream!" I said. We picked up our ice cream and went to a table.
"Hold on, I'm going to call one of my friends." I said. I pressed some buttons on my phone and put it up to my ear. I held it to my ear and waited for him to answer.
“Thanks for connecting me Igor. Is this Jacob?”
"What, no hello or anything, just the straight old 'WHO DIS'?" I sarcastically asked.
“Yeah, it’s you. Jacob, did Paul contact you yet?” Andy asked.
"Your manager or my digital assistant?" I had a DA modeled after Paul McCartney.
“My manager, friend, and your cousin which means that he hasn’t contacted you. He said that he would do that before anything else. Crap. Look, you and Paul was about the only two people that didn’t treat me like some kind of leaper when I first left the community. You’re a friend, granted, a friend that decided to move off to who knows where, but a friend. So, I wanted to let you know that I’m getting married, and I wanted to invite you to it,” he said.
“HEY! ASK him if one of my cousins is there!” an excited voice asked.
“You heard that right?” he asked.
"Don't spill all that exposition man. And is that Pinkie Pie?" I asked
“Hi! How are you doing?! It’s really nice to hear from one of Andy’s friends! So you’re cousins with that meanie pants Paul? He can be really mean! He asked if I would be fine sleeping in a barn, but it was only that one time! And that was because Applejack’s house got all exploded when Twilight tried to stop that giant timberwolf, and instead she made it all explodey!” Pinkie Pie said.
I never really liked Pinkie Pie that much. She just felt annoying to me, going on and on with her words. But I had to be nice to her, at least for Andy's sake.
"Look, do you want to talk to Barbara or not?" I asked.
“Told ya!” she shouted away from the phone in a singsong voice, “Yeppers! I’d like to talk to, Barbara ... I can’t keep a straight face saying that! It’s such a funny name!”
I handed the phone to Babs.
She took a heavy sigh. "Hello, Pinkie Pie."
“Babs! How are you doing cousin?! Guess what? I’m getting married! Oh! Applejack’s going to be there!"
"WHAT ABOUT APPLE BLOOM? SHE GONNA BE THERE?" she yelled out excitedly. Thank god no one was in the shop to stare at us strangely.
“Well duh! Her, and Big Mac, and Applejack and Applejack’s coltfriend, and Big Mac’s Wife… I bet she’s really nice, I mean who wouldn’t be really nice if they married Big Macie? Oh! Flutters is gonna be there! It’s gonna be so awesome! And I really want you to be there too cousin!”
"If Jacob and Apple Bloom are going, I'm going as well," she replied.
“Well Apple Bloom will be there, and if you want your coltfriend to be there I’m fine with that. Oh, do you need tickets? Cause the trains here are so much fun! They’ve got beds, and a table, and a refrigerator, and even a shower! It’s super funarific!” she gushed.
"Um, he's not my Coltfriend." Babs said. We both blushed. "Will there be a Bachelor and Bachelorrete party?"
“Andy, wasn’t Paul supposed to send them tickets and everything for the Bachelor and Bachelorette party?” Pinkie asked away from the phone.
“Andy said that Paul was supposed to have sent everything to Jacob through his… Ummm… Igor thingie!” Pinkie said excitedly.
"I might actually hang out with the guys this time. I know I'm a girl, but I'm not into girl stuff. If, uh, that's ok with you, Pinkie." Babs said.
“Okay, but, we’re gonna have fun, and cake,” she sang.
"At the wedding or the bachelorette party?"
“Both, silly billy! Oh, it’s gonna be in Las Pegasus, I mean Las Vegas… They sound so close! I went to Las Pegasus that one time… It was so pretty, but I wonder what Las Vegas is like. Andy said that there’s a billion lights all lit up like on Hearth’s Warming!” Pinkie bubbly gushed.
"Oh. Well, you wanna just let Andy and Jacob talk now? I think they might wanna talk to each other.
“Okie Dokie Lokie!” she said before the sounds of springs bouncing off in the distance could be heard.
“So, Jacob still there?” Andy asked.
She handed it back to me. "Dude, I need some advice on something. Mostly what to expect with a Helpmate." I said.
“That’s kind of the thing isn’t it? They’re not really helpmates. I thought that at first, but it different. She wasn’t some fancy program and a bunch of wires. She was alive. Of course, one thing I will say right away… If you’ve got an Apple, most likely you’ve got an Earth Pony, and they get strong, quick. I don’t know how it works, but Pinkie could take several guys I know in a fight fairly easily. I don’t think that she’d really even winded afterward,” Andy said.
"Anything else? Do they, you know, have sex?" I mumbled the last part so Babs wouldn't hear it.
“Trust me you’re going to find out, and yes, yes they do. When you fully bond, and you will, they go into heat. From that point on, I guess that it’s just up to how much and how often they like to be intimate,” he replied.
"So I should expect when Babs will fall in love with me?" I asked.
“It’s sort of a two way street, or it was for Pinkie and me. I had to get past a bunch of the stuff they tried to make me believe back home. Pinkie really helped, and when I was able to get past it the two of us… Look, that old twentieth century saying about how sometimes things just click? It’s like that. You click. There’s something inside of you that flips on and you realize how much you need her, and she feels the same way for you. It just happens, but it happens with the both of you. It’s real. It’s not preprogrammed, or something like that, but instead it’s very real,” Andy said.
"Alright man, I'll talk to you later. Me and Babs are eating ice cream." I said
“Sounds good,” Andy said.
“Did I hear someone say Ice Cream?! CanwegogetsomeAndyplease?!” Pinkie said in a rush throwing all of her words together.
I hung up. "Well, Babs, we're going to a wedding!"
“I’m gonna get to see my cousin! You’re going to get to meet her! You’re gonna love Apple Bloom!” she excitedly said as she held her cup of ice cream.
"You wanna leave now? I'm finished with my banana split."
She nodded, still looking a little excited, “Yeah, that’d be awesome. Hey, should I wear something else to the wedding? I mean, I don’t really think that I planned ahead too well.”
"We'll probably just wear tuxes for us," I said, "I found a good tux renting place where we can get cheap stuff."
“I don’t think that I’ve ever worn a tux before. I mean my mom had me wear this little gown thing once, but it was to a little formal dance thing that I had to go to. I was just glad that Apple Bloom had come to visit me that week. We both kind of felt funny being all dressed up like that,” she said.
"Well, if you want to wear a dress instead, that's fine with me..."
“I could. I mean, if you think that I’d look okay in a dress. I know that I’m not the prettiest mare,” she said blowing a strand of hair out of her face.
Something told me to say something. "Don't say that, Babs. You're the prettiest mare I've ever seen." I regretted saying that right then. I didn't want Babs to feel like a girly girl. She WAS a tomboy like Scootaloo in the show.
“You… you really think that I’m pretty? I’ve never had a stallion tell me that I was pretty. Thanks,” she said with a blush spreading across her cheeks.
"C'mon, let's go home." I said to her as I got up out of my chair.

Chapter 4: The Seed of Romance and Rap Battling
A Babs Seed romance story
"Happy birthday, Babs!" I walked into her room the morning of her birthday with a big vanilla cake that Pinkie send to me. Written on top with pink icing said "Happy Birthday, Babs Seed!"
“Huh? Birthday? It… It’s my birthday? It’s my birthday!!!” she exclaimed throwing back the sheet that was covering her.
Her only clothes were the hockey jersey and a pair of white cotton panties. She jumped toward me and nearly destroyed the cake when she wrapped her arms around his neck giving me a hug.
"Woah! Dont hug me yet! You nearly knocked the cake over!" I said
“Sorry,” she said sheepishly, “Is that a Pinkie Pie cake? Oh man we’re gonna have such a huge sugar high!”
"Yeah, Pinkie and Andy said happy birthday to you," I said, "Also, I have a surprise for you after this!"
“Oh? What’s the surprise? You can tell me, please?” she asked, smilingly far too sweetly.
"I'll tell you after you eat your cake," I replied
She started to give a small pout, but then just shrugged her shoulders, “Okay, I can deal with that, so what do you want to do today?” she said as they carried the cake to the dining area.
"We're going to do lots of fu-" I was inturrupted by my phone ringing. "Hello? ... Oh hey! Yeah she's here, hold on," I gave the phone to Babs.
"Babs!" A fimiliar high pitched southern accent came from the phone. "It's me, Apple Bloom!"
“Apple Bloom! How are you doing cousin?! What’s going on?! Pinkie Pie told us that you’re going to be at her wedding, and we’re going to come to it too! It’s been forever it seems like!” Babs practically gushed as she talked to her cousin.
"Things have been going great! Ah'm living with Big Mac and his wife Jessica in Sweet Nectar Acres! It's so much fun out here, like Sweet Apple Acres! Ah wish Granny Smith was here though... So how's yer life going?"
“It’s pretty good. Right now I’m staying with a friend, and he’s been nothing but a gentlecolt. So have you heard anything from Sweetie Belle or Scootaloo?” she asked.
"No, nothing yet." Apple Bloom said. "But when we all get in contact, we should meet up! Aren't ya going to that wedding? We could catch up there after the wedding if you want."
“Yeah, we’re gonna come to that wedding, and I’m looking forward to meeting with you! It kinda sucks that you haven’t heard anything about Scoots or Sweetie yet. I wonder if anypony else we know might hanging out around here. Say, Apple Bloom, do you grow peaches out there?” she asked.
"Yeah! Why do you ask?" Apple Bloom asked
“I think that I ate some of the ice cream made from your peaches,” she replied.
"Oh. Well what a coinkiedink." Apple Bloom said
"Apple Bloom, come help me!" A female voice called.
"Ah gotta go, Ah'll talk to you later, ok?" Apple Bloom quickly said.
“Okay, I’ll talk to you later Apple Bloom. Have fun cousin,” she said before he line went dead.
"So how did it go?" I asked.
“It was so good to get to talk to her. I was thinking that I wouldn’t get to until the wedding… That’s the best birthday present I think that I’ve ever gotten,” she replied.
"So I've planned something great tonight. You'll really enjoy it," I said to her
“Oh? And what is it that you’ve got planned?” she asked smiling and leaning closer. It seemed like she heard that I thought she was beautiful she had been in a far better mood, and she tended to flirt a little with me.
I handed her a folded up flier. "Every week they have a rap battle thing I always go to. Of course I enter in and just crush people. You should come with me."
“So, you crush people with your mad rhymes huh? Yeah, I’d like to see you take on everypony else,” she said.
I noticed she was subtly leaning a little closer so I leaned in as well and booped her on the nose. I laughed and got up.
“Funny,” she said getting up while looking at the three quarters of cake left on the table. The overly sweet frosting was wafting off of her breath.
I walked to the couch and sat down, awaiting Babs to sit down next to me.
She stretched, as she stood there. Turning away from me, putting her hands up over her head and leaning back a little letting her back stretch out. Once she was finished she walked over, taking a seat next to me. I felt the warmth from her. The way it radiated off of her, and then I felt a small poke as she poked my shoulder.
“Hey,” she said.
"Hey,” I said back.
Waiting for a moment I felt a pair of lips on my cheek.
“Thanks for the awesome birthday so far,” she said.
I blushed heavily. She actually did that to me?
And then I did what could possibly be the most regrettable decision in my entire life. I took it way too far and kissed her fully on the lips.
I almost expected it freak her out. Part of me expected her pull back, but instead I felt her hands snake up around my neck, and she slid onto my lap. The kiss deepened. I felt her lips open, offering me a taste of her. The cake from Pinkie, a faint taste of sweet red delicious apples, and then something else covered my senses. She pulled back, got up, and her tail swished giving me a view of her white cottoned bottom.
“You’re sweet, and I like you, but that’s as far as I’m willing to go right now,” she said.
"That's as far as I needed to go," I hugged Babs.
She returned the hug, bits of her strength leaked through the hug. It wasn’t so hard to hurt, but it was certainly a tight and close hug, “I guess that I need to get dressed huh?”
I was so willing to say 'you should get UNdressed' in a tongue and cheek way, but I still had my common sense with me.
"Yeah. You should," I said.
She broke the hug first, and the smile she had looked genuinely happy.
“Okay, I’m going to see what I’ve got, and I’ll be back in a couple of minutes,” she said as she walked into her room. All I could focus on was her tail swishing back and forth.
8:09 PM.
We walked inside the record store. Music was booming from the shop, mostly old classics like Doctor Dre and others. People were swarming the record store for this big event. I saw one of my good friends rush up to me.
"EY! MAH HOMIE!" He said as he gave me a right hug. "It's been weeks since you've last came here! What's with ya?"
"Ah, it's nothing. Just got out of a serious depression." I said. "I brought one of my friends along; this is Barbara."
“Hi,” she said. Her ears seemed to moving around, getting every single sound that she could.
He immediately hugged her. "Name's Doug, but people call me Dogg." He let go. "You gonna sign up for the rap battle?"
“Actually, I came to watch. He,” she said pointing at me, “said that he was going to drop some mad rhymes.”
"Ah, Jacob. Whenever he comes by here this time of night, he always kicks some major ass!"
She smiled, looked at me, and then looked at the other people signing up. One of them was wearing a fedora, dressed like he had stepped out of the early nineties. He looked at over at us and then at her.
“Hi,” she said giving a small wave.
He gave a short nod, and whispered to a guy next to him.
"C'mon, Jacob, let's get you signed up and ready!" Dogg said as he grabbed me and rushed me to the back.
8:32 PM
Babs Seed POV
The moment Jacob walked to the back, I looked around at the people who were still signing up, and standing around.
“What it is babygirl, my home boy Mixer saw you lookin’ at him," he said, “He’d like for you to come over and have a little talk with him.”
“Thanks, but I’m here with Jacob,” I replied.
“That jabroni? What’s a baby’s got back girl like you doing kickin’ it with him?” he asked.
“Well, he doesn’t have to pretend to know how to talk to a mare for one, and two, he’s got the teats to actually come up and talk to me himself. It seems to me like your homeboy is lacking,” I replied.
“Okay, okay, well, Mixer is gonna crush your little jabroni. He’s hard core man. He came from the lower east Stacks,” he said.
“And that means what to me?” I asked.
He turned around, “Bitch,” he muttered.
“Oh, it’s on. I wasn’t going to sign up for this, but no one calls Babs Seed a bitch!” I shouted as I walked toward the signup list and wrote in my name.
"YO!" Jacob shouted at the stage, with what looks to be like a white fur coat. "Who's ready for tonight's Rap Battle?"
Everypony went nuts as they screamed and cheered.
"Yo, Dogg, give me that sign up sheet!" Jacob demanded at Dogg.
When I first met Jacob, I thought he was just this really nice colt that was quiet, shy, and meek. But what I saw on that stage blew my mind. I think my feelings for him might have changed now.
"Alright!" He threw the clipboard at Jacob. He caught it at the last second right before it would hit his face.
"Alright, first round we have the infamous Mixer..."
Everyone booed ad Mixer. I just guessed he was really hated in this part of town.
"Versus Ba- wait, am I reading this correctly? EVERYONE WE HAVE A NEW RAPPER, BABS SEED!" He pointed directly at me, as everypony stared at me.
"Come on up, you guys!" Dogg said from behind Jacob.
“Look what we got here, a little pony riding a jabroni.
I took a deep breath.
"First of all you can't be in the league if you can't spell it.
I was expecting everyone to boo me too, but everyone cheered. I heard Jacob yell out "KICK HIS ASS, BABS!"
“End my life? You wrong my rhymes are the knife,
The sound of silence seemed to amplify everything.
"I'm not Babs, I'm the Baddest Seed,
I spitted those rhymes out so bad. I felt amazed as what I could do now. Everypony went wild again.
He glared and took in a deep breath.
“Gonna make this good.
“Yeah Mixer give up for Mixer,” his homie said.
Again silence was all there was.
"Little lady? Bich please, I have some fucking balls
"AND THAT WAS BATTLE ONE!" Jacob inturrupted. "Applause if you think Mixer won!"
Mixer’s little homie clapped and cheered like there was no tomorrow. He stopped and the entire room was completely quiet.
“Oh fuck all of you! You know that he kicked the shit out of her!” he shouted, “Her weak ass rhymes didn’t touch Mixer!”
No one said a word, no one else applauded at all.
“Mixer, you’re the shit man, you know that you’re the shit,” his little homie said.
“I know man. I’m fuckin’ Boba Fett making phat stacks for my vette,” Mixer replied.
"WHO THOUGHT BABS WON?" Jacob yelled out.
The entire crowd, minus Mixer’s little homie and Mixer himself cheered, filling the entire room with noise.
“Man, fuck you all,” Mixer’s little homie said.
"THE WINNER IS BABS SEED!" Jacob said. He came up to me and hugged me. "Nice job, Babs." He mumbled so only I could hear it.
I smiled at him and hugged him back tightly. I didn’t even notice the tingly feeling on my flank. Instead I enjoyed the moment of hugging him and being there.
“Thanks so much for that,” I said.
I looked to see Mixer standing there, and instead of looking pissed off he grinned and stuck out his hand.
“Congradulations. You can spit some rhymes, but next time I’m not taking it easy just because you’re a girl,” he said.
"I'm not a girl, I'm a tomboy," I corrected him.

I unlocked the door of my apartment. "How was the rap battle thing?" I asked Babs
“It was awesome! I don’t think that I’ve had that much fun since the last family reunion I was at,” she said.
"I have another gift for you, Babs." I said to her.
“Oh, what is it?! Can I see it?!” she asked excitedly.
"Of course," I said as I went to the kitchen. I grabbed a wrapped gift and brought it to Babs. "Here you go!"
She tore the package open with the same kind of excitement and innocence that a child would have. There was a complete abandonment of being an adult as she made it to the box the gift was in. She gently shook it trying to hear what it could be.
"It's the newest iPhone model. It costed about 400 credits getting that thing," I said to her.
“Oh wow… you didn’t have to spend that much on me,” she said her ears seemed to almost lie flat against her head.
"It's the least I could do," I said, "I knew you would like it."
I put took the box from Babs and put it on the kitchen counter. I held both of her hands. "Babs, ever since you came into my life, I knew you would make my life a lot happier. You gave me my passion for rapping back and took me out of my depression. I wouldn't know what I would do without you." I quickly kissed Babs on the lips. "Thank you."
Her breath quickened. I could see her irises shrinking a little before the grew out a little more. Both of her eyes got a sort of soft look to them. The phrase ‘bedroom eyes’ crossed my mind. She leaned in and the kiss wasn’t a quick kiss. It was deep, just like the one this morning. She opened her mouth, inviting me in again, and once more I accepted. I felt her hands moving down my back, finding the small of back, then moving lower. There was a slight grope. Unsure of what to do I returned the favor, and it earned a small gasp from her.
I let go of everything. "How about we move this to the bedroom, ok?" I said softly.
“Okay,” she said sounding breathless.
We walked inside my bedroom. It was a mess, with clothes everywhere except the bed.
"You want me to play a song on my record? It will lighten the mood a bit."
“S… Sure, that’d be nice,” she said.
I looked through the collection of vinyls I had in my room. The perfect song, the best song for this moment was just a finger’s breadth away, and I knew it. I looked at the singles, and I flipped through the small 45’s trying to find the perfect one when it suddenly stood up ready to be played. I reached down and grabbed it putting on the turntable, and I lowered the needle to it .
I laid down on the bed and slipped into the covers. The bed was all cold and uncomfortable, but that's all about to change.
There was a need that I could see, to be honest I thought even a blind man could have saw, in her eyes. She moved toward me, her clothes still covering her, but her breath was quick, lusty, needful.
“I… I want you to be my special somepony too,” she said before she kissed me again.
Her hand brought my own up to her back, and then she moved it down to just above her tail. I touched it and a soft squeak escaped her.
"Don't we, like, wanna get naked or something?" Fucking mood killer, man. My geekiness has come back.
“I… I guess so,” she said as she grabbed her shirt. She pulled it up, revealing herself to me. She was beautiful, her breasts were like perfect orbs, they were larger than a handful, but no so large it was off putting.
She looked at her jeans, the part of her that was separating the rest of her from me. She unbuttoned them, slid her thumbs under the waistband of her jeans and panties, and pulled them down. For a moment they got caught on her tail, but I helped her, watching her free her hips.
"Unbutton my shirt and I'll take care of the rest of your clothes." I said to her.
She nodded, lying back, letting me move over her, and her fingers moved to each button. There was an obvious nervousness to what she was doing. Any doubt that she had never done this was gone. This was her first time. The first time she had ever had this much intimacy with a guy before, as did I.
“I’m glad that this is with you… I love you,” she said.
"You have no idea how much I love you more, Babs Seed." I kissed her again, but this time more intimate and not a horny kind of making out.
The kissing was soft, gentle, and warm. There was a feeling of love in it. The sweet taste of her flooded my senses. Each small taste driving me further and further into wanting her. Her hands moved up my sides, the touches unsure, but feeling wonder, and each moment she was becoming more bold. There was that brief moment, the hesitation before we became one. She let out a small gasp and a near quiet cry of pain. I stopped for a moment.
“It’s okay,” she whispered.
"Did I hurt you?" I asked.
She shook her head. Her green eyes opened and looked into my own.
“A little, but I think it’s supposed to. Just be gentle, please,” she said.
"A-alright. I've never done this before, so I don't know what gentle or hard is, but I'll try."
She nodded, and I pulled back a little before pushing forward slowly. After a few moments it changed, and her hips began to roll forward meeting my thrusts. Her legs moved around my waist and she let out a deep moan.
“Jacob…” she said in a soft moan.
"You about to finish or you just saying my name just because?" I didn't want to end this. The feeling was rushing throughout my whole body. I was trembling about how good this felt.
“No I…. I…. Oh sweet Celestia don’t stop doing that!” she cried out as my hands gripped her hips.
"D-don't stop what? The rhythm? The speed? What?" I was in fear now. Like I said a dozen times, I've never done this before, so I want to keep Babs happy during this. I just decided to continue all of that.

“This was the perfect birthday,” she said.

“Well, now we’re each other’s special somepony. I… I just want to be with you, so everything else doesn’t matter as much, but I want to be here, and I want to be with you,” she replied.
"What time is it?" I asked. I didn't have a clock around me, so I couldn't tell.
“I’m not sure,” she said as she cuddled close to me. She wrapped a leg around my own, and her head rested on my shoulder.
"You know, you should probably wear a shirt or something," I said as I grabbed my sleep shirt from my drawer right next to my bed.
She smiled at me and shook her head a little, “I’m good like this. Just share that blanket and I’ll be happy.”
"Alright. I'm gonna get some water," I said as I got out of the bed. I examined myself and noticed that I had only one sock on, and my drawers were on top of my feet. I quickly pulled them back up and put on a shirt. I turned off the light so Babs could sleep and I walked out of my room to get some water.
I looked at the clock at the oven, and it read 10:03. Damn, we lasted that long?
I grabbed my little bottle of Fiji water and chugged it down. After having sex with Babs for a long time. I was dehydrated. I put the water back in the fridge as my phone...rang?
At this hour? Well, I just had to see what this was. I picked up the phone and answered it.
"Yo, Jacob here." I said, exhaustedly.
“What are you doing on the phone, and not cuddling with that mare?” a very serious sounding Pinkie asked.
"I just needed a drink of wa- HEY! How did you know me and Babs were, well, you know?!"
“Pinkie sense, duh! Now, march yourself back in there and cuddle! She’s going to think that this was just a quick rut, and I know that you wouldn’t be the kind of colt that would do that,” she said in an icy tone.
"Well goodnight to you too, Pinkemena." I shut the phone off and ran back to the bedroom, where Babs was waiting for me.
"I'm tired." I announced to Barbara.
“I am too… Jacob, this… It was special right? I mean it was for me, but it was for you too right?” she asked. Her eyes weren’t meeting my own.
"Yeah. Pinkie just gave me a fucking lecture to go back here and snuggle you," I said. "Pinkie's just weird."
“Okay, but you’re not going to snuggle just because she said to right? I mean if you do it’s because you want to right?” she asked.
It was the first time she sounded really unsure of herself.
"Why wouldn't I want to snuggle next to a mare as beautiful as you?" I asked back.
“It’s just… I know it’s silly, but it kind of felt like you couldn’t wait to get out of the bed,” she replied.
"I'm actually kind of over protective of my health. One of my friends got really sick because he didn't drink enough water everyday, so I have to keep an eye on that."
“Okay,” she looked up at me, and her eyes, her beautiful green eyes looked hopeful at me. I climbed into the bed next to her.
I’d never admit that Pinkie was right to her face, but she actually was right about this, and I didn’t want Babs to feel like I just wanted to screw and run. I actually wanted to be in a relationship with her.
I felt her snuggle close to me. I turned off the lights and quickly fell asleep.
Chapter 6: Seed of Train Rides
Babs Seed's POV
The next day, before Jacob went to work, he got me a job at the record store. I got to work with Dogg that day and we talked in between customer encounters.
It's quiet, of course it usually is this time of day. I'm already out the door, and leaving the store behind me. 2112 is a lot of fun to work at, but sometimes there's a couple of purists that come. Dogg said not to let them get to me. It's kind of hard though when they start talking 'bout abomination this and living doll that.
I look up at the small corner store. I know we have stuff at home, but after trying that drink Coke, I think that i'd like one. Maybe it'd help take my mind off of things. I walk in, grab a coke, and then I see it. There's a tin of tuna. I tried it once, with Scootaloo, and it wasn't too bad. Maybe we could have that for supper?
I bring both of them up to the counter and the cashier smiles at me
"That'll be six credits," she said.
I press my thumb to the scanner and she gives me a wave. I walk out and crack open the coke. It tastes soooo gooood. There's a nice fizzy feeling as it flows down
It was a ten minute walk to get back to Jacob's apartment. The weather was nice, so I didn't have to rush home to beat the heat. It was the middle of October.
I walk into the door, and smiled at Jacob. He was on the couch, watching some news on the TV.
'Hey babe. Have a good day?' I asked.
"Yeah. I'm good," he replied, "I'm hungry."
“I got a little tuna on the way home... I thought that we might like it,” I walked past him, hoping that I don't still look like what those purists said is bothering me.
"I thought ponies didn't eat meat…" Jacob said
“Oh, most of us don't. In fact it if wasn't that Scootaloo had some tuna that Rainbow Dash gave to her back home I wouldn't have ever tried it, but I remember how good it tasted. I don't eat it much because it's kind of a delicacy and really expensive. Plus if I eat too much of it I get a little bit of a stomach ache.”
"I dunno," Jacob curled up in a ball, "I was just thinking about Sunday. The Rap Battle. After the Rap Battle..."
A blush crossed my cheeks. I remembered. That moment I actually became a mare instead of a filly. I sat down next to him and gave a small smile.
'I thought about it too. I... I liked it. I kinda wish that mom or cousin Applejack was here so I could ask them a couple of things, but I know that I liked doing that with you.'
"We need to talk about something," Jacob said. He sounded serious, "We should probably get you a morning after pill before you conceive. It's kind of early to have a baby…"
The smile falls from my face. I know he makes a good point, but... That's not what I had been taught. I look at my hooves not sure what I should say here. I mean, I know that I should say something.
“I... I don't know”
"I mean, if you want to have a kid, that's fine with me. I, however, probably need to wait a year or so."
“It's just that... Mom, well, all of the Apples believe that a foal is precious. Applejack's own parents thought that about her, Mac, and Apple Bloom. I... I don't know if I could do something to hurt the foal inside of me, well, if there is one.”
"So we should just have a kid, then?"
“I don't know, but I don't want to... kill it. I'm sorry, I know that might not be what you want to hear, but... This would be our foal. It'd hurt to give it away, but I'd rather do that then kill it.”
"Me too…" Jacob said, "Let's just have a kid then. I've kind of always wanted to be a dad, anyways."
I breathed out a sigh. I knew Jacob wasn't like what those purists had said. He wasn't just interested in me for rutting. I knew he would be the kind of stallion that would want to raise a foal. I walked toward him, hugged him, and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“You know, if we need help I think we could always ask Applejack for some help. Apples take care of each other.”
"Or Pinkie," he added,"She's had experience with this."
The sound of an electronic chiming sounded through the room, and it was followed by Jacob's Paul McCartney Digital Assistant.
“Sir, a Ms. Pie is trying to reach you. Something about a baby shower.”
"Ugh, this better be quick," Jacob said, sounding annoyed and unhappy, "Hello, Pinkie. What is it?"
"I got all tingly, and I realized that someone was gonna have a baby! I already know about Applejack, Rarity, and Princess Celestia, but this was a new one, and then it occurred to me that it had to be Babs! I'm so happy for you! Oh, You're gonna me throw you a shower right?! It'll be so much fun! There's tons of games, and I can make an apple and peach cake!"
"We're probably not going to do that," Jacob responded, “That's mainly for woman, and I'm not a woman. Babs, however, might do that."
“I don't know Pinkie…” I added.
"Oh please! Please! I've already got Applejack to agree to help bring everypony!" Pinkie sounded confident about this.
''So, everypony is going to be there? I mean even Apple Bloom?"
Now she got my attention.
"Yeppers!"
“Okay, but where can we have it?”
"Oh, I already talked to Paul, and he said that there's a community building there, so I asked Andy and he said that he'd rent it for me! This is going to be Amazing!!!! I've got to call Applejack and remind her to bring plenty of peaches and apples! Yay!!!"
"Is this happening before or after the wedding?" Jacob asked.
"What do you think Andy?"
"Afterward would be best Pinkie," Andy said, "It'd give us plenty of time. Hi Jacob. So, what exactly are we supposed to do while you're having this babyshower?"
"Why you're gonna be there silly! I'll make sure that there's fun things for you colts to do."
"Oh, Jacob, what kind of cake do you like? I wanna make sure that I make the right kind for the colts!"
"I don't know nor do I want to know right now. Can me and Babs please just have quiet time with each other?" Jacob sounded even more annoyed.
"Okie Dokie Lokie!"
The line went dead.
"Well that happened," I looked at Jacob.
"Anyway, I don't think we should worry about this just now. We shouldn't plan too ahead. So how was your first day at work?" Jacob asked
“Uh, it.. it was good,” I say as I walk toward the kitchen with the two tins of tuna.
"Did anyone insult you, or did they just ignore it."
My ears lay flat and I turn around to him. I know he can see something bothering me. I finally look up and feel my eyes getting wet with tears.
“Dogg said that they're called Purists... They... They came in and were really mean. I've been picked on before, and I always fought back, but they... It was terrible.”
"'Purists'?" He sounded confused
“Dogg made them leave, and he said that I shouldn't let it get to me. that they're just a bunch of idiots... He said that they're people who believe that only humans should be here, and that humans should only be with humans. Some of them are in some cult that follows the teachings of some insane stallion named Phelps... Dogg said that it's best to just ignore them."
Jacob got up. "Babs, we're going to Oklahoma City in a few hours. I want you to take a shower and get ready to go. I'll get our bags packed."
“Okay,” I said as I walked toward the bedroom.
I didn't want to think about those Purists. I just want to be with Jacob, and I want everypony to get along. Why can't more people be like Jacob, Dogg, and Andy? They're all good stallions, so there's got to be more good stallions and mares like them right?
I breathe out a sigh, strip off, and step into the shower. I know I like to act tough, but right now... I could us being held and being told that it's okay. Maybe I'm being silly. I'm sure that Apple Bloom would say that I'm letting what somepony said get to me.
Jacob's POV
We entered the train about 10 minutes before it left. "Have you ever been on a train before?" I asked Babs.
“Sure, the Friendship Express, but this is way different!”
A screen dropped down over the window and a cartoonish figure appeared.
"Thanks for taking AmTrak! Remember, don't disembark the train unless you're at a station or it's a real emergency! Also, the guards on the train are here for your safety! Don't forget to visit our dining car for refreshments, or simply wait for server to make a few rounds! In the event of a bandit attack please let the guards do their job. Do not engage a guard in conversation if the train is under attack. Their ability to do their job is completely for your safety! Thanks again for riding AmTrak!"
"So, what do we do?" I asked Babs.
She give me a smile and flick her tail.
“I've got a couple of ideas,” she said.
"Like whaaaaaaaat?" My bedroom eyes came on.
"You'll see..." Babs teased me.
Babs POV
We stepped inside the cabin. There was a fridge, a bathroom with a shower, and a bed, just like Pinkie told me.
"Ya hungry?" Jacob asked me.
I nodded and looked as he opened the fridge. The sight of a fully stocked frige was a sight for sore eyes. I spotted a six pack of Coke and next to it was a few premade sandwiches, and then two tubs of some kind of salad. I watched as he pulled out a tub of Potato Salad, two sandwiches, which one of them was a Vegetarian Delight.
"That looks good," I said to myself. Jacob went to the fridge as well.
"Hand me that potato salad," he said.
I nodded, and opened the potato salad, and looked around. Next to the fridge was a small stack of paper plates, plastic forks and spoons, and two disposable dipper spoons. I grabbed one of the dipper spoons, two plates, and two forks. I dipped him out some potato salad, a little for myself, and I noticed that he was opening his sandwich. The smell of tuna, eggs, and mayo filled the air as he pulled the clear plastic wrap off of it.
“That smells really good.”
I opened my own sandwich and I could smell the fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, spinach, and black beans. It smelled like heaven. I looked back in the fridge and an excited squeak left my muzzle. They had wrapped peaches, already halved, and the seed removed.
"Man, I'm so hungry," he said as he ate the potato salad.
“I know right? I'm starving!”
I said as I bit into my sandwich. The flavor of the vegetables mixing together filled my muzzle. Each bite was beyond amazing. I found myself letting out a small pleasured filled moan. My attention turned to the peaches, and then to something else. I had grabbed the package not sure what they were, there was four round spheres in a plastic container. The top of it said “Grapples, the fantastic offspring of a grape and an apple”.
I opened the package, and I smelled grapes and apples. I lifted one of the fruits and bit into it. It was crisp, like an apple, but extra juicy like a grape. The amazing taste lingered on my tongue. I looked the fruit and tried another bite. It was good, not as good as the peaches were sure to be, but still really good. They were almost Zap Apple good.
"Want a bite?" I asked.
"Hell fucking yes!" he said excitedly. He took a bite of it and said, "DIS SHIT IS GOOD!"
“I know! It's almost as good as Zap Apples! I bet that Applejack and Big Macintosh would love to get a hold of one of the trees that grows these things!”
"I've had these before. But not like this!" he are more.
“This is a first for me, but I like them! They're almost as good as peaches.”
I took another bite, just over where he had, and swallowed it down. I handed him a grapple, looked at my plate, and realized that I needed to eat the rest of my sandwich, the salad, and at least a peach. I finished off the grapple, and started on the potato salad.
The first bite reminded me of my mom. She could cook, but most of the time she would buy the premade stuff. This tasted just like that stuff. I could taste the slight over use of the mustard, the light metallic taste left after the potatoes had been cleaned and put through an assembly line.
“This reminds me of home.”
"I wish I was back at home... Not at my apartment, back to my nice home I used to have."
He curled up in a ball again.
I looked at him, seeing that sadness, the way his eyes seemed to see back to a different time, and I crawled near him. The box, the bunk, they provided wasn't much, but got in behind him and wrapped my arms around him. I nuzzled against his cheek.
“Jacob, why don't you tell me about it?”
"I once was a rich man. I lived in a nice home with my girlfriend and my cat. Then, the stock market crashed, and dollars became worthless, so I had to move out and go to what became my apartment. Then, my girlfriend died of cancer, and I fell into my depression.2 years later, I was looking at the tech news sight to see if there was anything that can get me out of my depression," he looked at me, "Then I found you."
“I'm glad that you did, and I'm not going to leave you. Jacob, I don't care where we live. I've lived in a lot worse, I mean a whole lot worse. One of the apartments we lived in was so small that there was only two rooms. The bedroom, and everything else. Mom said that she hated that it was all we could do, but I understood it. She needed to save some money back. Actually, she really wanted to move us out to Ponyville. She wanted to buy some land, but you know what? I was happy. I was happy because I was with my mom. And right now I'm happy because I'm with you.”
I snuggled closer to him.
"I love you Babs. Without you, I probably would have committed suicide by now," he kissed me.
I kissed him back. That's something I wouldn't want him to ever even think about doing. Mom, cousin Applejack, and even Pinkie Pie said that an Earth Pony was meant to help carry the burdens of those we love. I know they're right. I wanted to help carry his burdens.
“You know, with us both working we might be able to afford something better, if you want something better, but if you want to stay in that apartment I'm fine with that.”
"I saw that the house is for sale. The same house. But I have to pay off your debt for 22,000 credits, so we'll wait," Jacob patted a place for me in the bed.
I stripped off, getting comfortable, and crawled into the bed behind him. I pulled him up against me. I loved feeling him against my pelt. The way he made my fur feel.
"Ya didn't have to take your clothes off, but ok," he said as we snuggled close together.
"WE WILL BE ARRIVING IN OKLAHOMA CITY IN ABOUT 10 MINUTES," the announcer guy said.
Jacob was already up, eating what looks like an omelette on a plate.
I awoke, feeling the slight cool spot in front of me where Jacob had been. The sound of the cartoonish voice from the screen announcing that we would be arriving in Oklahoma City in ten minutes made me sit up. The sheet fell from me as I stretched. I heard a whistle and I looked at Jacob who was smiling.
“Morning, so you saved me anything?”
"Yeah. Just a peach," he handed me one.
I took the peach, bit into it, and noticed that unlike the ones from Sweet Nectar Acres it was a little tart. I still enjoyed it, and I quickly finished it before I climbed out of the bed. I walked toward the wall where the small shower was located. Once inside i pressed the button on the wall that caused the hot water and soap to stream out. I began washing, letting the clear curtain behind me drop down.
"Would you mind to get some of my clothes out for me?"
"You only have your leisure clothes," Jacob said, "I'll some of my clothes for you to wear, since your other ones are dirty."
"Thanks babe."
I felt the water stop, and a towel shot out. I grabbed it and began drying off. I stepped out of the small showering are and wrapped the towel around my breasts. I saw a hoodie of his, a pair of sweatpants, and a white tank top.
"I wonder where the Arcade is?” he asked looking out the window.
I sat beside him and saw tall scaffolds, each stretching impossibly high, towering across the street from the station.
"Jacob, I love you so much," I said.
The train stopped and the screen came back down.
“This is your stop! Thanks for taking Amtrak!” the cartoonish voice shouted.
"I love you too, Babs." We shared a warm kiss.
We exited the train, and dozens of guards stood around the train separating us from the street and giving us a direct walk to the inside of the station. We walked inside.
“Babs! It’s so good to see you!” Pinkie shouted as she ran forward and caught us in a hug.
“Hi Pinkie, trying to breathe!” I whimpered.
"Hello, Pinkie," he said in his usual annoyed tone when he saw Pinkie.
“Hello Babs’ coltfriend! So, how are you two doing? Everything okay?” she asked.
"I just awoke from what could possibly be the greatest nap in the world," Jacob said, "Probably because I shared it with my special somepony." he looked at me.
Andy walked toward us. He gave Jacob a smile before pulling him into a hug.
“We’ll talk about everything later. Pinkie thought that the two of you might want to get back to our place, and then if Babs needs some clothes…” he started before Pinkie smiled brightly.
“You’re gonna be a bridesmaid! Isn’t it exciting?! Applejack and Apple Bloom are already being one, and so is Rarity, and Princess Celestia came, which I was like Princess Celestia’s here, and she’s going to be doing the the ceremony with Mr. Anderson’s friend! It’s so amazing!” Pinkie said as she practically bounced.
“Pinkie, remember what your friend Twilight said, you’ve got to be a little more settled for the foal,” Andy replied.
“Oh… Silly me,” she replied.
"So what shall we do first?" Jacob asked.
“Well, our neighbor made Pinkie’s dress, and the bridesmaid’s dresses. Pinkie seemed to know everybodies’ sizes, so we need to check if she was right with Babs, and then we’ve got a quick rehearsal, a dinner, and then we’re getting married,” Andy said.
"Alright! Let's get ready then!" Jacob said excitedly.
Andy and Pinkie led us to a sort of pink looking car thing. Andy opened the back hatch so we could load our bags, and then we climbed inside.
“I’m so glad that I talked Andy into driving out here to get you! Oh! I found this really awesome singer, and I wanted to let you listen!” she said excitedly as she pushed a CD into the port.
"IS IT ELO?" Jacob bursted out.
"Probably not," I replied. "Though that would be nice."
“Actually, he went by Andrew W.K,” Pinkie said as She is Beautiful began to play.
"This is going to be a long car ride." We both said in unison.

Chapter 7: The Seed of Fancy Dinners (A crossover with Lady and the Solider)
The smell of baked Alaska Crab floated in the air. Rarity looked at some of the entrees and scrunched up her muzzle a little.
“I cannot decide on what to get here.” I thought aloud. “Babs, what are you deciding on?”
“That smells really good,” Babs said as she pointed toward the baked crab.
“Oh Darling… no, just no. I think that a salad would be more my speed,” Rarity replied.
“Salad? Why do you want to do salad? Seriously, we have a chance of getting some seafood,” Babs said.
“Darling, I’d rather not eat anything that had the ability to move and feel.. It feels so barbaric,” she replied
“Ok, Rarity, whatever you say. I’m going to order the salmon, and a fish chowder.” I said.
“I have no idea what I’m getting.” Babs said.
“I’ll have a salad as well,” John said.
“Oh, you don’t have to have one on my account,” Rarity replied smiling at him.
“It’s good to try new things, and besides I don’t mind it at all,” he said before he touched her hand.
The both of them looked at each other for a moment before they kiss.
“Don’t you dare, Babs.” I said to her indirectly. “Not now.”
“You’re a little embarrassed aren’t you?” John asked.
“We just snuggled during the train ride here, so I don’t really need any kissing stuff.” I said, coldly.
“Well, it appears that your marefriend doesn’t really agree darling,” Rarity said nodding toward Babs who had her arms crossed and was glaring at me.
“You’re going to slap me again, aren’t you?”
“Now that you said it.” Babs slapped me.
“Today is just full of slaps.” I said, sarcastically.
“It doesn’t have to be, but you keep heading that way,” she replied.
“Darlings, why don’t the two of you take a moment, get up, and ask the band over there to play so you can dance. Seriously, the tension between the two of you is thick enough to cut with a knife,” Rarity said.
“There’s a band?” Jacob asked. “I don’t see it.”
“Me neither.” Babs said as she blew her hair.
“They’re right over there,” she said pointing toward the string quartet, “Excuse me, my friends here would like if you’d play a waltz for them. They want to dance.”
“Oh nonononono.” I said as I curled into a ball.
“This is going to suck.” Babs said, her face as read as a ripe cherry.
“Well, go ahead and play for us,” Rarity said getting up and grabbing John’s hand.
The band began to play a slow waltz and Rarity led John to the floor.
“Well, shall we dance, Babrara?” I said as I got up.
“I don’t know if I want to now. You didn’t want me to kiss on you, or anything else,” Babs replied.
“Rarity’s making us do this, so why not enjoy it?” I put my hand in front of Babs. “Shall I have this dance?”
“Okay, but you better let me kiss you while we dance,” she said getting up, taking his hand
We walked to the dance floor, where the band was playing. I’m guessing Babs knew how to dance, since she immediately put us in position of, I’m guessing, the waltz.
“So…” I mumbled.
“Just let me lead,” she replied, “It’s just the two of us, so keep your eyes on me, and no one else.”
“No one else? Since when do I want to not want to take my eyes away from your beautiful face?” I asked, sweetly.
She blushed, grinned, and began to slowly move leading me around in the steps. Our bodies began to touch and I felt her breath on my face. Our lips touched, lightly…
“John, mind you hands!” Rarity said in surprise.
“Darlin’ they got more manners than I do,” John replied.
I used context clues to figure out that he was almost going to touch her flank, so I subtly move my hand on her back lower.
“What are you… Oh!” she gasped in surprise as I placed my hand above her tail.
“Jacob! What are you doing?!” she let out a soft moan at the touch.
“Nothing…” I lied as I stopped. I don’t wanna piss her off more. “So, this is enjoyable and romantic…”
Her breath was slightly heavy as she leaned against me, “You didn’t have to stop… It felt… really good,” she whispered.
“What, the dancing or the other thing?” I asked.
“Both,” she admitted. There was a light blush to her face. It was refreshing to see this side of her. A side that was most often reserved for when we were together. Now, she was opening up a little more for me here, and now.
“Have you ever even done this before?” I asked.
“My mom sent me to a school to learn how to be a good little filly. The kind of school that taught me to cook, clean, dance, and take care of foals. I didn’t like all of it, but I loved the dancing,” she replied.
“Was that, like, a boarding school? How long did you go for?”
“I think it was called a finishing school. I just remember it not always being fun. The headmare there was a little too strict,” she said laying her head on my shoulder, “but then again if she wasn’t I wouldn’t be able to do this with you. Jacob, you’re okay with everything right? I mean us having our foal, and everything else right?”
“I dunno, it just seems way too quick now.” I said as I kissed her lightly. “Don’t you have a sister or something?”
She growled lightly. I felt her hands gently squeeze harder before relaxing, “Half sister. Sunflower, she’s my father’s daughter with that… other woman. I.. I know that Apples are Apples, but I don’t think she should qualify. She’s terrible,” she whispered, “She actually makes Diamond Tiara seem like a good little filly.”
“I actually heard Diamond is here. Not here here, just somewhere.”
“What?” she asked sounding a little angry.
“When you see her, slap her or something.” I said.
“I want to, I really want to, but it’s not going to help me. If I see her I don’t know what I’ll do, but I’m going to try to be calm. I’ve got to consider that eventually I’m going to have set an example,” she replied.
“Yeah, for our baby. Speaking of which, this may be kind of early, but have you thought of any names for it?” I asked.
“I’ve been thinking of a few, but what are your ideas?” she asked.
“Well, we could name her Pumpkin Seed. That could work. Or if it’s a male, then maybe ‘Bad” Seed, like your name.”
“I don’t know if I want him to think that he’s a bad colt, but we could work with it. Pumpkin, I like it. I hope it’s a little filly,” she replied.
“I was hoping it was a male. My last girlfriend was going to birth what we predicted to be a boy, but she had a miscarriage followed by her, well, you know.” I said.
“Whatever our foal is I’ll love them to my dying day, and I know you will too,” she said as the song ends. We stand there looking at each other. Breathing the same air, seeing deeper into each other’s souls than ever before.
“I…” I started, but trailed off.
She leaned into me. Our lips met, and I feel hers open. For a moment our tongues touch. No fighting for dominance, although it was still passionate. She was giving complete control over to me. Trusting me to take this as far as she was comfortable with.
I let go, “So, uh, you wanna, like, order the food now?”
“S...sure, that’d be okay,” she said.
We moved back to the table to see a very pleased Rarity sitting next to John.
“That was so sweet! I’m so glad that I could do that for you both,” she said to us.
“Heh, thanks. I guess that’s why you’re my favorite harmony bearer.” I said as I scooted my chair in. “So, what are we getting?”
“Well, I believe that John and I are getting salads, but order whatever you’d like Darling,” Rarity said.
“Babs, you want to share a lobster tail dinner with me?” I asked.
“I’d… I’d like that,” she said.
I felt her hand slip into my own. The waiter walked by almost not stopping until John cleared his throat.
“Scuse me fella, but we’d like a little service,” he said.
“Of course sir, Have you looked at your menus yet?” he asked.
“Eeyup.” I said in my best Big Mac impression.
“I see… Did you understand the menus?” he asked.
“Yes, we did darling, and we’ve all decided on what we’d like,” Rarity replied.
“Oh, and what has the lady decided that she would like?” he asked.
“Actually, I believe that our friends would like to order first,” she replied.
“A lobster tail to share between me and Jake.” Babs said, pointing at me.
“Very well, One Lobster tail dinner, shared between the two of you, and Madam?” he asked.
“We both would like to have your watercress salad, and a dish of black bean pate to share,” Rarity said.
“Would that be all?” he asked.
“I believe so,” Rarity said.
The waiter left.
“So, after this, what does everypony wanna do?” I asked.
“I thought about taking Rarity to one of the fashion stores. She was wanting to look at some of the designs, and I’m hoping to talk her into Frederick's of Hollywood,” John said.
“It sounds divine, but John hasn’t really said what they specialize in,” she replied.
I giggled, “Oh, you’ll find out, Rarity.”
“What do the sell?” Babs asked.
I whispered it to her.me there?”
“Maaaaaybe.” I replied as we went into a romantic kiss.
The waiter returned to freshen our drinks. He looked at the four of us with obvious distain on his face. It was as if he was angry about the fact that he had to wait on us. He placed Babs’ Lemonade on the table near her, but sat it unevenly on the coaster. It promptly fell over and spilled onto her clothes.
“My apologies, I believe there is a pet store nearby that you can get another set of clothes from,” he said.
I proceeded to stand up and punch the waiter’s face hard. John stopped the door man and the other waiter that came running. He lashed out at both of them laying them out, and then turned to the waiter that was down as well. He grabbed a bottle from a neighboring table and bashed it causing it leave a sharp edge. I rammed the two waiters heads together, knocking them both out.
“Let’s get the fuck out of here.” I said as I pulled out a cylinder from my scalbert.
John held the broken beer bottle out in front of him. “Right behind ya’, Jake!”
“YEAH, VIOLENCE!” Babs yelled out.
“Oh For Celestia’s sake! John! Jacob! Would the both of you colts please calm down and we’ll just leave,” Rarity said.
“Nah, Rares. He insults Babs, we attack.” I said to the white anthro mare.
“Why do all stallions have to act like so uncouth… Mother was right, a good stallion is still quite a bit of work,” she groaned.
“MORE VIOLENCE!” Babs yelled out as we ran out. I pressed a button on the silver cylinder as is morphed into a neutron accelerator, straight out of “Demolition Man”.
Rarity shook her head and touched John’s arm.
“Please, John, I know that you are a better stallion than this. I… I gave myself to you knowing that you are a good stallion,” Rarity said.
“I don’t want to let people like this walk over you, or anyone else. Rarity, we’re going to leave, but we’re not go-”
“Gonna do what I just did?” I said to him as we rushed out of the restaurant. “John Lennon, you have any suggestions of what to do now?”
“Sir, I would suggest that you head straight down the alley, turn left, and then head straight into the back of a bar that I’ve marked. I believe that you shall be safe there. It is called the Blue Oyster Club,” he said.
“I was thinking we could just order room service at our hotel room.” I said. “We don’t need to cause more attention than we need to, unless you’re sure about this Blue Oyster club.”
“Sir, it is a rowdy bar, open to people of all lifestyles,” he replied.
“John, we’re not going to a gay bar.” I said. “I remember what a ‘Blue Oyster’ is.”
“Very well sir, I believed that you wanted to evade the authorities. The Blue Oyster isn’t heavily monitored, however, there is a motel six with a bar half a mile down the road in the same direction,”
“Lead me there.” I said.
He pulled up a map indicating the alleyways to take and avoid. Within minutes we found ourselves in front of a faded red and blue sign. The sign lit up showing an off red six. We walked up to the office and saw an elderly man working behind the counter. We opened the door and he looked at the four of us.
“Whelp, I dun thought that I’d seen everything. The rooms are thirty-six credits a piece, the bar and grill are open to two am. Don’t start shit in the bar unless you plan on finishing it. Most of the fellas that go there work at the farms, or drive the cargo cross country. Ain’t none of them feel like puttin’ up with any uppity shit. Otherwise, enjoy your stay, and don’t stain the fuckin’ sheets,” he said passing the thumb reader toward us.
We rented two rooms, one for each of the couples, so we can get privacy. And, oh boy am I glad I got a separate room with Babs.

Chapter 8: The Seed of Planting Seeds (CLOP)
I walked inside the motel room, holding Babs’ hand. I expected the room to be messy, but it was actually very neat and tidy.
She walked toward the bed and touched the blanket on it. Her fingers lingered on it for a moment before she grinned.
“I was really expecting worse. I remember sleeping in worse,” she replied.
“Well,” I said to Rarity behind us. “Goodnight Rarity, I shall text you soon!”
“Goodnight darlings,” she said as she and John walked into their room.
I closed the door and gave Babs a smirk. I pushed my glasses up. “So, we’re finally alone.”
“We are, and what does my coltfriend want to do?” she asked with mock innocence.
“What do you wanna do?” I said, caressing Babs’ cheek.
She leaned in and kissed me, I’ve felt her lips lightly touch my own. She pulled back and smiled.
“I have a couple of ideas,” she admitted.
“Oh? What is it?”
She kissed my neck, and began moving down. I felt her hands loosening my belt, undoing my pants, and then lowering them. This was something she hadn’t really done very often. I felt my excitement practically jumping out at her. She giggled before she licked the head of it. I felt her tongue swirl around the head. She moved taking the head between her lips.
“Oh my God…” I moaned.
She looked up at me, her green eyes practically having an innocent look to them as she took me deeper. I felt the back of her throat for a moment as she hilted me into her muzzle. “You’re a good stallion, if you weren’t then you wouldn’t see this side of me,” she replied.
“What side would I see you from?”
“The more rough and tumble side. I like being like this with you. I like knowing that I can show my softer side, and that you won’t hurt me. It makes me love you even more,” she said.
She snuggled closer, letting as much of her back and flank touch me as possible.
“I like knowing that I don’t have to pretend with you,” she said.
Her hair smelled like sweet apples and peppermint. I guessed it was because she was an Apple that smelled like apples. The scent was nice, relaxing, and made me feel relaxed as I held her. I loved it. I loved knowing how complete she made me feel. It was like I had been given a second chance at life.
“What will we do tomorrow? Shall we go to Sweet Nectar Acres?”
“I’d like that. We can meet up with Apple Bloom and everypony else and head out there. I’d like to spend some time with them, and I’d like to get to know Applejack’s and Big Mac’s special someponies,” she said.
“What if Sunflower Seed meets you at some random place? Would you even say hi to her?”
“I don’t know. I’d like to make an attempt to find out why she acted like she did. She had a chance to be a sister, but she really never wanted much to do with me. Maybe we could work things out, but I kind of doubt it,” she replied.
“My brother doesn’t have a helpmate, nor does he really want one, but what if he gets Sunflower? Would you want to meet her and my brother?”
“If he’s your brother then he can’t be all bad,” she replied.
“Trust me, he is worse than Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. combined”
“I can’t believe that. How could anypony related to you be bad?”
“How can anypony be related to you be bratty and hateful, when you’re the sweetest, kindest pony I know?”
She turned around toward me, and grinned as she nuzzled against my neck. I could hear her purring lightly and I gently rubbed her back.
“Barbara, I love you so much, and there’s nothing that’s going to change that.” I said as I rubbed myself against her warm pelt. Her fur felt so soft and so comfy.
“I love you too, and nothing will ever make me stop loving you,” she said softly.
We drifted off to sleep, still in each other's arms. I was so in love with Babs that nothing will break us apart.
Or at least I thought.
Chapter 9: The Seed of Misplacement
I awoke with a phone call from someone that I never expected to talk to again. I breathed out and told John Lennon to answer the call. He said that Collin was calling.
“Yo, Collin. Long time no hear. What’s up?” I asked
I groaned and waited for whatever it was he was going to say.
“Alright, you miserable little faggot. I have this anthro abomination rummaging through my kitchen and taking my food because ‘Oh, she’s so hungry and so thirsty.” he growled through the called.
“What’s the pony’s name?” I asked. I was really happy that Collin found a helpmate, but he called it an abomination, so I was a little pissed off.
I looked at the small card table in the room. Right now Babs was just starting to wake up, and I felt her move slightly. She leaned up, kissed my cheek before she heard the sound of my brother talking to somepony else.
“Hey, who’re you talkin’ to?” Babs asked.
“My brother. He got a pony.” I asked
“What pony?” She asked.
“I’m finding out.”
“Sunflower Seed.” Collin responded.
“Oh my god... “ I thought aloud. “Babs, I TOLD you he’s getting your sister!”
“Discord probably listened to our little conversation and thought that was a good idea!” Babs replied, “Let me talk to him, I got a few words to say to him.”
“Not now, Babs.” Jacob answered. “My Babs and your Sunflower Seed are siblings. So, what you need to do first is wa-”
“Hold on, WHAT?” Collin yelled at me. “My faggot brother has your sister.” he said to someone outside of the call, “Someone named Babs Seed or some gay shit.”
“What do you mean he has Barbara?” Someone responded “Is she staying with him? Oh… did wittle Barbara finally find somepony that liked her?”
Babs suddenly grabbed the phone from me, “LET ME FUCKING TALK TO HER!” Babs yelled from my phone.
I could hear their conversation:
“Now you listen here, Sunflower.” Babs started, “I’ve had more coltfriends than you’ll ever have! Jacob has been the sweetest stallion I know. At least I have a loving coltfriend and you have Jake’s mean, cold brother.”
“What are you talking about having? I’m staying here because it’s cold outside, and I wanted to get somewhere warm! And ha! Most of your coltfriends were losers! Even that one colt you said you met in Ponyville. Pulease, even if he was real I bet that he was a real loser too,” she replied.
“Snips was a way better coltfriend than you ever had,” Babs ranted. “even if he broke up because of school and such. You have a fucking douchebag of a ‘friend’. Jacob has told me that he has not had a marefriend in his life, nor has he even kissed a filly before!”
“He’s not my coltfriend! I’m staying here because it’s cold outside! He’s not even a really good host! He constantly says no! But even so I bet that his house is a thousand times better than your coltfriend’s,” Sunflower replied.
“Just because he’s rich, doesn’t mean he’s nice.” Babs said, angrily
“Barbara, Barbara, Barbara, when are you going to learn that love isn’t the most important thing. That’s… so peasant of you.”
If I’ve learned anything, love is the most important thing you never need in your life. It opens doors to so many new things, and it hurts to think that a pony, even Sunflower, didn’t believe in love. It was like finding out that that Santa was real, but he left turds instead of coal in kids stockings.
“At least somepony understands. Now, Barbara, I’m in the mood to eat a little carrot cake and enjoy being in a warm house. Oh, do call again I enjoy our little chats,” she said
I just grabbed the phone from her, hung up, and threw the phone, flinging myself on the bed, weeping loudly.
(Babs POV)
I crawled over to Jacob and pulled him into a hug. I held him feeling his tears cutting small streaks into my pelt. I gently rubbed his back, telling him it would be okay, that I understood. I knew what it felt like. To be so dismissed and so rejected. Sunflower was still my sister. Even if we didn’t get along she was and would always be my sister.
I hated that he was hurting like this. I hated knowing that everything he was feeling could have been prevented. If I would have just had John Lennon stop the call, or even mute it. I gently stroked his head as I cradled him against my breasts.
“You’ll be alright. Not everypony is like that, and you know it. There’s always going to be a few bad apples,” I cooed softly.
“T-This is why I n-never speak to h-him.” Jacob weeped.
“I understand, that’s why I barely spoke to Sunflower. I wanted us to be better sisters, but she didn’t want to be. She would call me and my mom ‘mud ponies’. It was horrible,” I said.
“That’s why you came to Ponyville, you were made fun of by them. And being a blank flank.” I said, finishing crying.
“Actually, I just really got teased at school. I didn’t really get teased in Ponyville until the third time I came back,” I laughed a little.
“Babs, I don’t know how many times I’ve said this, but I love you so much.” he lightly kissed me.
We got up, got dressed, turned our key in and made it back to the brownstone only to find Andy’s sister there. She explained that the morning train had already left, but Andy left more than enough credits on a temp card for us to use to catch the next train. She politely called the taxi and I walked with her to the next room while Jacob was checking a few things over.
“Thanks for doing this,” I said.
“It’s fine, besides, Andy wanted to make sure that everyone got to where they were needing to go. You know, it’s very sweet that you’ve found each other,” she said.
“T…thanks,” I replied.
“No, really it’s very sweet. My brother, I was afraid that he’d be alone forever. I mean he left the community, left everything behind, and from what I was told that meant he would be cast out everywhere he went. Instead he found someone to make him happy. That’s very important. You have to find your happiness, wherever it is, and… That’s what makes me afraid,” she admitted.
I looked at her and touched her hand.
“I… When I was around the other girls, all of them, I liked being around them. I liked it in a way that I shouldn’t. Father… he said that thinking about another girl like that would make me burn in eternal damnation. I… I want to be happy, but I don’t know how,” Sarah admitted, “and it wasn’t just the girls… There was some of the men… Oh Lord, why does this have to be so confusing?”
“It’s ok.” Jacob hugged Andy’s sister. “We all need to be happy somehow.” he let go. “Anyway, we best be on our way to Sweet Nectar Acres. Thanks again!”
“I’m glad to help. Oh, please, if you don’t mind, contact Igor and let us know that you made it. I’d hate to worry about anyone who didn’t,” she said.
“Alright, see ya!” Jacob said as we walked off.
We walked toward the front entrance and waiting for us was a yellow cab. We climbed into the back seat and the driver gave us a smile before putting the taxi in gear, and driving away from the brownstone building. I watched it disappear behind us, and then I turned to Jacob. I gave him a soft kiss on the lips, and let it linger for a moment and grinned.
“What?” Jacob was confused.
“Can’t I kiss my coltfriend? I wanted to let you know how proud I am of you for being such a good stallion. You didn’t make her feel bad about something she’s so confused about,” I replied.
“O-ok then. You’re welcome.”
I smiled as we rode toward the train station. We slowed down near the stacks and the sound of automatic gunfire erupted from one of them. We looked toward the stacks and saw someone running with something in their arms. A moment later another burst of gunfire erupted nearly hitting the one running.
“What in the fuckin’ blue hell is this shit?” the cab driver asked.
We looked out to see someone holding a package close to themselves, her off pink pelt looked a little disheveled. Whatever it was she had those who were shooting at her was determined to get it. No less than six stallions chased after her.
“No...it’s...it’s Diamond.” Jacob said to himself.
“What in the name of Celestia’s golden silky teats is she doing?” I asked.
“I don’t know, let’s pretend none of this happened. Didn’t you say that the next time you saw her you wanted to punch her?” he asked.
Another burst of gunfire answered for me.
“Yeah… no,” I replied.
“Next time…”
Of course from the sounds of it there might not be a next time I thought.
We watched as the stallions disappeared down the street.
“Well, it ain’t never boring at the Union Station Stacks. So, where are you two heading huh? Gonna hope the train and do a little riding I gather, but anywhere set in stone, or just riding to be riding?” the cab driver asked.
“Train station. We have a train leaving in ten minutes.”
“Sure, sure, keep your shirt on Mack, your friend is welcome to lose hers, but keep yours on,” he said as he turned into the station.
“Here you, and you got eight whole minutes to spare. Remember Yellow Cab when you need a lift,” he said before he took off.
We rushed inside and boarded the train. We heard that Amtrak safety thing again as we went in our cabin.
“I’m so ready to spend some time with my cousin,” I said, “and of course spend time with you.”
“Me too, Babs.” Jacob said as he kissed me on the cheek.
The train began to lurch forward, and I giggled as it moved. We could hear the sound of feet moving on the top of the train car for a moment before it quieted down. I looked at the land outside of the window before we really started to pick up speed.
(Jacob’s POV)
“Hey,” I said, poking her.
“Huh?” Babs asked.
I kissed her cheek. “Thanks for an awesome trip so far.”
She smiled, and snuggled against me. Her warm pelt felt wonderful. Her muzzle rested against my neck as let out a short yawn.
“You wanna, uh, snuggle for a bit?” I asked, putting my head on hers.
“That actually sounds kinda nice. I’d like to just cuddle for a while,” she said.
“Alright. I don’t want Pinkie ranting to me again.” I walked to the bed, stripped to my underwear, and got under the covers of the bed.
She peeled off her clothes, leaving her panties, crawled over me, and then curled up beside me in the small bunk. Her arm stretched over my chest, and I let out a satisfied groan. This was nice. A little sleep, next to a beautiful mare, and at least a single night until we got to where we were going.
One night later…
“We are now arriving at our current destination,” The Amtrax announcer said. “We hope you enjoyed your ride, and have a wonderful day!”
I grabbed my clothes and quickly threw them on. Babs did the same thing.
“You ready to meet Applejack and Apple Bloom?” I said to my beautiful special somepony.
“I want to see them so badly. I really want to spend some time with my family. I want you to be able to spend time with them too because you’re family as well,” she said.
“They’ll always be your family, but I might not, I’m not even married to you.” I said as I picked up my suitcase.
She got up, walked over to me before I had a chance to take off and kissed me deeply. After a moment she pulled back.
“You are always going to be my special somepony. Nothing is ever going to change that,” she said.
“I love you, Babs.” I said, looking deep into our eyes, our souls linking with each other.
She pulled me into a hug, and I felt the fur of her pelt. The fact that she was still nearly nude didn’t bother me. I didn’t mind, although I knew that she needed to get dressed pretty quick.
“I love you too.” She said to me, not breaking eye contact.
“Do you want to get some clothes on?” I asked, giggling.
She looked at herself, then at me, and then back at her self and shrugged.
“Sure, I guess,” she said walking to the bed and bent over picking up her jeans. I watched her as she pulled on her jeans, then pulled on a loose fitting jersey.
“Ready,” she said.
“Let’s go.” I said.
We walked out of the train station to meet a surpisingly different station.
“Babs, read out ticket and make sure we are in California.” I told her.
“It says we’re in Orlando, Florida… What is Orlando, Florida?” she asked.
“We arrived in the wrong place.” I said. “In the middle of the night, about 11 PM.”
“Why? I thought that our tickets said California…” she said.
“Sarah probably mixed up our tickets. So, now what do we do?”
“She said that Andy gave us extra credits, we could get another set of tickets, or maybe they’ll exchange these. Look, there’s a kiosk, let’s go check it,” she said.
We walked to the kiosk. It looked like a column with several viewing screens on it. We walked up to it and one of the screens lit up.
“Welcome to Amtrak! I’m Mr. Tophat, how may I help you?” the DA asked.
“We accidently went to the wrong stop,” Babs’ replied.
“Oh? Well that is a problem. Please scan your tickets,” he replied.
A scanner popped out and I passed one of the tickets under it.
“Well, this is odd… It appears that your ticket was originally set for California, but at the last possible moment it changed to Florida. Well, I believe this was a mistake on our part. Unfortunately it’s going to take sixteen hours to reset the tickets. Would that be okay with you?” he asked.
“That’s fine,” Babs’ said.
“Very good, because it was our fault we would like to provide a room for you. We’ve booked you a room at the Super 8 Motor Lodge. Thank you for understanding, and for using Amtrak!” Mr. Tophat said.
“So, we go eat something? I’m hungry.” I said.
“Sure, that would be okay with me,” she said, “Want to see what might be down the street?”
“Sure.” I said as we walked out of the station. I immediately smelled something really good “I smell something good, wanna go to where I smell?”
“I know, I smell it too, and that sounds good. Let’s go,” she said.
We walked inside the place, which turned out to be a small cafe. The heavenly smell of freshly baked bread lofted the inside. The wonderful smell of hot soups, fresh salads, and the bread mixed together to make a truly heavenly scent. We sat down as a waitress comes.
“Hello, welcome to Rickman’s! I’m your server Anne. Tonight we have several excellent specials tonight. We have a cheddar and broccoli soup on special, also our vegetarian stew, not to mention our collection of watercress sandwiches. Would you like to order, or do you both need a moment to look at the menus?” Anne asked.
“Two Broccoli and Cheddar soups!” We both said.
“Very good, anything else? oh, I nearly forgot! Your drink orders!” she placed a smaller menu before them both, “We have a collection of Coke products, and we’re also proud to serve Sam Addams. Just take a few moments to look it over, and let me know what you’d like to drink,” she said.
“Alright.” I said.
Babs looked over the selection for a moment before smiling at their server.
“What would you recommend?” she asked.
“Well, everything is pretty good, but I suppose I lean more toward the classic Coke. It just tastes better,” she replied.
“I’ll have a classic Coke,” Babs stated.
“You guys have any beer?” I asked. It had been ages since I last had one.
“We have Sam Addams, Budweiser, Coors, and of course Blue Moon. What kind would you like?” she asked.
“A Blue Moon.” I said.
“Very good sir, madam, I’ll be back with your drinks in a moment,” she said.
“So, what do we do now? After this, I mean.” I said.
“I say we eat, go to the hotel, rest, and perhaps you can show me that I’m your mare,” she said with a wink.
“Yeah, no.” I said, turning her off. “I am seriously considering getting an additional helpmate, a physical assistant. I’ll still use John Lennon for other stuff.”
“I… You’re not upset at me, right?” she asked.
“Nono, nothing of the sort. It’s just that sometimes you work late at the record store, and I get kind of lonely. Besides, it would be nice to get a physical assistant.”
“Okay. I’m glad that you’re not upset at me. “Jacob, thanks for bringing me here to eat… I’m starving,”,” she said.
“No pro...blem…” I soon spotted a sight I did not want to see at all.
My brother. Physically in front of me. With his marefriend, Babs’ sister, Sunflower Seed.
“Oh, fuck.” I said to them. “Of all places, you two decided to go here.”
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Jacob Cromwell and Babs Seed.” he said, turning around “What the fuck are you two doing here?”
“We went on the wrong train to here.” Babs said. “So we are eating here before we get on a train the next morning.”
“Oh look, the low born and his little mud pony. Tell me Barbara, have you told your coltfriend that he’s slumming around being with you? After all you’re just a poor little mud pony,” Sunflower Seed said.
Now I was fucking pissed off. Insulting me is one thing, but insulting my marefriend is another thing.
“Low born? Listen, I made a higher income than Collin and owned a bigger house than him.” I said, ready to pull out Caliber.
“Until the Federal Economic crash came.” he said. “Now you’re all poor, living in a small apartment with your rutting mud pony.”
“Actually, I’m trying to buy that house again, so, soon, I’m going to be richer than you again.” I replied.
“Sure you will.” his ugly ‘friend’ replied, “Please, keep telling yourself how you will climb up and take your place at the top. Low borns, bird ponies, and mud ponies are only good for pushing the exceptional ponies to the top. You’re not exceptional. Look at the company you keep! She’s uncouth, unkempt, and not worth three bits. She couldn’t even work as a trollip I’d wager,”
“You know, Aunt Orange only tolerated you because she and Uncle Orange were mud ponies. But at least they knew class, manners, and culture. You… You’re a pathetic waste,” Sunflower said.
I pulled Caliber out in it’s base form, a simple cylinder, and pressed one of the many button on it. It transformed into a pistol. Not a Neutron Accelerator, but a regular pistol with metal bullets, just like the old days. Now we have plasma and laser rifles, but bullets are more effective and damaging.
“You dare insult Babs again and I and I will shoot .” I said, pointing my gun at Collin.
“Okay faggot, do it. Fuckin’ do it already,” he said grabbing the barrel and pulling to his forehead, “Do it!”
I could have ended him right there with a squeeze of a trigger. End all the antagonistic comments and sarcastic remarks. But I realized I would go to prison, so I changed the gun back to his base form and sat down, ashamed as what I just did.
“I knew it, faggot, you couldn’t do it. You aren’t anything other than a chihuahua, all bark and no bite.” he said looking at me.
“You know what, I’m beyond being ashamed of being your brother. Sunflower made a point about something. There’s us and there’s them . You, and your little mud pony are certainly them ,” he said.
“Doesn’t matter.” I replied, not looking at him. “There shouldn’t be an ‘upper class’ or ‘lower class’. Back in the old days, we all lived to survive together , not separated into groups and factions.” I then stood up, walked to Collin, and stared at him directly in the face.
“Collin Cromwell, you can go fuck yourself.” I said. I silently walked back to my table, and said nothing else, taking a large gulp at my beer.
(Babs’ POV)
We had finished eating, and returned to the hotel. I wasn’t sure how I felt right at the moment. Sunflower had always been, bratty, but she hadn’t went out of her way to just hurt me before. She acted like I really was beneath her. I hugged my arms to my breasts and looked at the floor. My hooves swung slightly, but I barely even noticed them.
There were 2 beds in the hotel, like there always is. I saw Jacob was in the covers of another bed, facing the window, curled up by himself.
I got in with him and put my arm around him, spooning him a bit.
“Hey.” I said. “Anything you want to talk about?”
“Nothing,” Jacob simply said. He held my hand that was spooning him.
“Don’t, please don’t push me out,” I said holding him, “Jacob, what they said, everything they said was hurtful, but… I can’t deal with it on my own. Please, I need you to let me in.”
Jacob turned around, smiling at me. “Do you know why I picked you, out of all the ponies that I could have had?”
I shook my head, “No, I… I just knew that I was supposed to come see you. I know there was a lot of other mares that you could have chosen.”
“You are the most relatable pony for me. When I was younger, I was teased for being a brony. Everyone picked on me, the guys didn’t want me on their sports teams, the girls didn’t want to date me, I was a complete loser. Then I found you, and all of my worries just go away whenever I see you. I love you Babs, don’t you forget it.” Jacob said, tenderly kissing me.
(Jacob POV)
I watched Babs drift off to sleep, snuggling next to me. I slowly took her hand off me and got out of bed, walking to the immersion gear, putting it on.
The ad with Drocsid appeared, and I selected it. Once I did I saw the anthropomorphic stallion waiting for me.
“So, I see you made your way back. How may I help you this evening?” he asked.
“Cut the whole Drocsid shit, I know it’s you Discord.” I said with a smirk.
“And I could easily boot you out of this room. I enjoy looking like my friend thank you,” he said before he snapped his fingers and everything disappeared. Instead we stood together in the Maze Garden near the Castle.
“Take your goggles off,” he said.
I took it off, looking straight at Discord himself.
“You know, it’s a real honor to finally meet you, but I think we all know what I want.” I said.
“Kid, no one knows what they want. I’ve been long enough to know that no human, except for a very few, really know what they want. You all claim to want to be happy, but then you work against it. It’s all very chaotic, and fun, but it isn’t until you have someone to balance you out that everything comes into harmony. AND right now that is what this world needs. It needs Harmony. It needs my project, so tell me… Tell me what it is that you think you want,” he said.
“Well, first off, if it seems like I’m trying to be an asshole, I’m not. I’m just really pumped up for what is going to happen next.”
“You’re pumped up, while she’s lying in a bed, scared, hurting, and still reeling from what her sister said. Yeah,” he said.
“What, can’t you stop time so Babs doesn’t notice?”
“I could, but I’m not going to. This is a selfish request, so you give to get,” Discord said before he changed forms looking like Q from Star Trek.
“Spike. I want to get Spike. But you’re probably going to say ‘Oh, you already have Babs to take care of, so why need another?’ Because it’s what you just said, a selfish request.”
“So, the old fax machine… I suppose I could let you have Twilight’s number one assistant, but I want something in return. You do know everything comes with a price,” he replied.
“What’s the price? Futa? Rule 63? Zombie? All?”
“What is it with you humans and those idiotic internet memes? No, it’s not any of that.”
“Thank Celestia.” I replied
“Thank Celestia? Right….” he rolled his eyes, “The price is simple. He gets to make up his mind on who he loves. He’ll bond to you, like they all do, but he gets to choose,” he said.
“Are you saying Barbara doesn’t have a choice on who to love, that if you simply broke the bonding thing from her, then she wouldn’t love me anymore?”
“She’d love you anyway. You’re her special somepony .” he said in a perfect imitation of Fluttershy’s voice, “But let me ask you something, have you tried to make sure that you deserve to be her special somepony? The bonding works both ways.”
“I’m not the brightest nor kindest human in the world, but I try to make her happy.”
“Good, then you have nothing to worry about. Listen, to some advice my very young, and very naive friend. Every relationship, every single one, is going to require a lot of work. Even Andy and Pinkie, yes I know them, have to work at their relationship. Their bonding has allowed him some peace, and it has grounded her. They’ve reached a balance, and they still work on their relationship.”
“Of course. Is that all I need to do to get Spike? How old is Spike?”
“Before everything ended… he was nineteen,” he said holding a crystal with what looked like a miniature Spike in it, “He still is. Six billion years later and he’s still nineteen. Didn’t expect Barbara to be older than you did you?” he said with a laugh.
I laughed as well. “Can I say a few words to Spike, or are you just going to leave me with a surprise?”
“Actually, I’ll do one better. Close your eyes,” he said.
I did so.
“Now open them,” he replied.
I did, and I wasn’t in the maze garden anymore. I was outside of the Crystal Palace in the Crystal Empire. Spike was standing there, looking at the cracking shield. Suddenly a white flash covered us and we both were on a very familiar bridge of a ship from a television show. Q crossed his legs and rested them on the Helm control.
“Where are we?” Spike asked, “TWILIGHT! We’ve got to run!”
“It’s safe here,” Discord said in his own voice.
“Discord?” Spike asked.
“It’s safe, and I want you to meet a new friend,” he said.
“Who? Who are you?” he asked me.
“Oh, uh, I’m Jacob Cromwell. Babs Seed stays with me.”
“Wait, she’s living with you? Is she okay? You… You didn’t do anything bad to her did you?” he asked a faint scent of brimstone wafted up from his mouth.
“No, far from it. She’s very happy living with me.”
“They’re having a foal,” Discord said from his seat.
“WHAT?!” Spike exclaimed.
“Q…” I growled, facepalming. “You could just say we were in a relationship.”
“I could, wouldn’t be as fun, but I could. Spike, she’s happy, she’s safe, and so is Twilight,” Discord replied.
“Good… You know… I never got to tell her that I thought of her as my mom. I really wanted to. It got… What happened Discord? I remember a bright flash and then I ended up here,” he said.
“Well, things happened, but everypony is safe, and that’s all that really matters, isn’t it?” he asked.
“Spike, do you want to come stay with me and Babs? She’ll be delighted to see you alive and well.”
“I guess… Could we maybe see Twilight some time? I really want to let her know what I wanted to tell her,” he said.
“I can let you talk to her sometime, sure.” I said.
“Okay, Sure I guess that would be fine then,” he replied.
“Good, now close your eyes, both of you,” Discord said.
We did.
“Open them,” he whispered.
We did and suddenly we were inside of the hotel room. I looked at time, and it was a quarter until 11:00 PM. I heard a soft groan, watched as Babs moved, and then she sat up.
“SPIKE ?!”
“Hey, yeah, he wanted to stay with us, so I let him.” I said.
“Um, hey, Babs.” Spike was blushing.
“It’s been a while…” she said looking away from him.
I remember how they had went out a few times in the series, but they ended up breaking up because it was long distance.
“Yo, man, let’s don’t let this be anymore awkward than it needs to be. Spike, if you want, crash on the other bed. I don’t know about you, but I’m beat,” I said yawning.
Somewhere inside I had a feeling that I was going to be doing so much explaining tomorrow. There was no doubt that Babs was going to ask me a million questions about this, but as Spike had once said, that’s a problem for future me.

The Seed of Spines
Chapter X: The Seed of Spines
We entered inside our cabin for the train. It has been the third time since we’ve been on an Amtrax Train. I laid down on the bed, and so did Babs. Spike just sat on a chair on the cabin’s table and rested his head on it.
“Ugh, I didn’t get enough sleep.” Spike complained. “Why did you have to wake us up so early?”
` “We had to catch the train. It was either catch it or end up walking,” Babs said through a yawn, “It’s not like I wanted to get up this early either.”
“So...Spike, uh, how do you feel about this drastic change of staying with us?” I asked the green dragon. He was still wearing his purple jacket with blue jeans and a green shirt underneath the jacket. His eyes were droopy and tired, and I could hear his stomach growling.
“It’s okay I guess. I mean Twilight and I lived in a couple of different places, but I’m not really sure of it yet. All I know is that everything so far has smelled really weird,” he said.
“Smelled?” I was confused.
“It doesn’t smell like Equestria. It kind of smells like someone took the Griffin Empire, mixed it with Equestria, and then dipped it in a chemistry set.” he replied.
“Ah, I see. Well, we’re going to visit the Apple’s today.” I said.
“We’re seeing the Apples? All of them? Is there a reunion? Or do you mean we’re going to Sweet Apple Acres?” he asked.
“Sweet Apple Acres. They have AJ, Big Mac, Apple Bloom and others.” Babs said.
“Oh, well it’d be nice to see how Apple Bloom is doing, and I wouldn’t mind saying hi to Applejack,” he said.
“And Big Mac, and others.” I added. “They all have their loved ones as well.”
“They what? Applejack and Big Mac have their special someponies? When did that happen?” Spike asked.
“When they came here. So does Apple Bloom and the other ponies outside of Apple Family. Though I think Dogg has Sweetie Belle, and she isn’t in love with him.”
“Sweetie is here?” Spike said looking a little excited,
“Yeah,” I replied, ‘though she might not be in love with anyone for that matter.”
“Is scoots here?” he asked his eyes practically shining.
` “I dunno. I just heard Dogg might get Sweetie. Besides, isn’t Scoots into females?”
“Actually, she’s kind of into both,” he admitted and swished his feet back and forth.
“Ooooo, I see. I know what you’re up to.” I said, figuring it out. I laid down in my bed and played a song from my phone.
“So now what do we do?” I asked.
Spike shrugged his shoulders and looked at me, “I dunno. What do you want to do?”
“Sleep.” I said laying down on the bed.
“Yeah, we could sleep , although I’d like to sleep really hard, like incredibly hard, a couple of times before we get home,” Babs said.
“Yeah, ‘sleep’.” I said giving her a nudge.
“Okay, fine we can sleep,” Spike said getting ready to stretch out.
“Actually Spike, you aren’t hungry are you?” Babs asked.
“I don’t know… Maybe, why?” he asked.
“Well, there’s a dining car with a buffet. Why don’t you go check it out,” she suggested.
“Are you guys gonna come?” he asked.
“We’ll wait here. Get us some stuff while you’re gone.” I said
“You guys sure? I mean we could go and pig out in the dining car together,” he replied.
“Nah, you go ahead.” I reassured the little purple dragon.
“Okay, what do you guys want?” he asked.
“Anything you wanna share with us!” Babs said.
(Spike’s POV)
I shrugged and walked out of the compartment. I knew that they wanted me to leave for a little bit. That’s fine and everything, but it seems like it’s the same thing that happened when Twilight wanted to alone with that book of hers. It was some kind of weird magical thing, and I really didn’t want to be there anyway.
I could only guess that’s the reason. I walked to the door to the dining car and looked at the guard.
“I’d like to get to the dining car,” I said.
He opened the door, escorted me across, and we walked into the next car. The moment we walked in I could smell the delicious food floating in the air. I walked toward counter when a girl looked toward me. She grinned at me for a moment before looking back at her book. After a moment she got up and walked toward me. I couldn’t help but notice how she looked. She was cute, in her own way, her coppery red hair tied into a ponytail, and several freckles adorned her face. I noticed how her clothes looked painted onto her.
“Hi,” she said.
“Uh, hi,” I said, blushing. I didn’t really expect a girl to come and talk to me.
“Wow, you’re really interesting. You remind me of my pet Iguana Louie. I love reptiles, so sleek and rough all at the same time. Can… can I pet you?” she asked.
“What? Uh, sure…?” I said, awkwardly
“Oh thank you, thank you! I just love the way a reptile’s scales feel. It’s so amazing, so nice. I miss Louie because he made me feel so good,” she said as she petted me and let out a small squeal of excitement.
“Oh, I love the way you feel… You want to come back to my table and we can pet each other?” she asked.
“Ok, that’s enough!” I said as I ran away.
“Wait! Please! You didn’t get to pet my pretty princess!” she cried as I ran toward the exit.
I looked back at her and saw how defeated she looked. Part of me wanted to go back and tell it was okay, but at the same time I didn’t want her to try to make me pet whatever was her pretty princess.
I rushed in the door of Jacob and Babs’ cabin, and I saw the two of them cuddled close together, sleeping peacefully, under a sheet, seemingly nude. Well, was peaceful.
“GUYS, A MARE TRIED TO HIT ON ME!” I yelled to them. “I FEEL REALLY WEIRD!”
“Okay, and what’s the problem?” Babs asked, sitting up.
”I don’t know! I just feel weird .”
“It’s called an erection, you’ll get used to it,” she replied.
“Wha- I KNOW WHAT AN ERECTION! IS!” I said, annoyed. “It’s just, I’m not really the one to be attractive to girls and such.”
“So I didn’t find you attractive? That’s a load and you know it. Go back and talk to her. What’s the worst thing that will happen?” she asked.
“HEY, WE ONLY WENT OUT TWICE! And also, she’s a human and I’m a dragon! They don’t really mix well.”
“While Ponies and Dragons did. Spike, go talk to her, go back in there, get to know her. You might be giving up on something that could be beautiful because you were scared,” she said.
“A-alright then.” I walked out and closed the door. I heard Jacob wake up.
“Wh-what, what happened?” Jacob asked Babs.
“Spike met a girl, had an erection and freaked out, “ she answered, “Speaking of which, what’s that you have there?”
“What? I don’t have an erection.”
“Yet.” Babs said as I heard them making out.
“Ew. That’s just wrong.” I muttered as I went back to the dining car. I saw the girl crying at the table. I felt bad. I didn’t know I hurt her feelings that much, after the whole ‘pretty princess’ nonsense.
I walked to her table and sat down next to her. “Hey, I’m back.”
“You… You don’t have to sit here with me. I know that I must seem pretty weird, but you’re just cute, and… I’m so nervous,” she admitted.
“Oh, uh, you want me to leave then?” I said, ready to bolt and grab the nearest doughnut in sight.
“No, please don’t go. I’d like to get to know you, or I would if you want to get know me,” she said while looking hopefully at me.
“Alright, I love to make new friends.” I said, cheerfully. “I’m Spike the Dragon. What’s your name?”
“I’m Michelle, Michelle Ascalabotes the human, although it feels kind of weird saying it like that.”
“You’re, um, very pretty, by the way.” I nervously spat out, blushing.
She smiled, touched my hand and gently grasped it.
“I think that you’re very handsome,” she replied, “Do you want to share a meal with me, and maybe go lounge around afterward?”
“W-would I? Yeah, sure! I would love to!” I said, gleefully.
(Jacob’s POV)
“Wh-what happened?” I said, waking up. I was having the best dream in the universe until Babs’ speaking woke me up.
“Spike met a girl, had an erection and freaked out, “ she answered, “Speaking of which, what’s that you have there?”
“What? I don’t have an erection.”
“Yet.” Babs said as she pressed her lips on my own.
I think I heard mumbling outside, but I think that was just in my head.
I quickly pulled back. “Babs, I just woke up, we’ve had sex way too much.”
“What?! How… Am… Do you not want me anymore?” she asked.
“Babs, don’t say that.” I said, hugging her tightly. “I will always want you. It’s just that my penis might fall off from all this sex.” I giggled.
She giggled, and then hugged me back, “Okay… It’s just that I’m really, really horny. I don’t know why. I’m wanting you to rut the living tartarus out of me until I can’t walk right,” she replied.
“Maybe later, I’m hungry. Is Spike getting us food?”
“Actually, I think that Spike is meeting a new friend, and maybe going to expand his horizons. It’d be good for him,” she said before lying her head on my shoulder.
“Alright then. What do you want me to do to you?” I said nudging her.
“Well, there’s a few things I have in mind, one of them includes us doing something that might break this bed,” she replied.
“Alright, now we’re talking.” I said, pulling Babs under me, making me on top. “Unless you want to be on top.”
She got comfortable, and I felt her legs open, moving her thighs against my own. She breathed out a sigh as moved up her.
“I’m yours, I mean it Jacob, All of me, everything is yours. I love you,” she said.
“I love you too, Babs.” I said.
(Spike’s POV)
(COCKBLOCK LOLOLOLOL)
“Wow, that was certainly some good doughnuts!” I exclaimed to Michelle. We had just finished eating food, and we’re still sitting in our table.
She nodded and leaned against me.
“You can order movies on a train? And sure.” I said. This was my chance to get a little intimate with her.
“Sure you can. They’ve got a server on the train that has a few thousand movies stored on it. Most of them are classics, but there are a few newer ones there,” she said getting up with me and leading me to her room.
We walked inside her compartment. It was different. The room was smaller, obviously meant for one person. Everything we had in the one I shared with Jacob and Babs was stil there, but it was smaller and more compact. The biggest difference was the bed. The ones in our compartment were barely bigger than a twin, but hers was at least a fullsize. She pressed a button for the viewing screen, and it slid down.
“Movie selection?” it asked.
“I…” she turned around and looked at me. She slid her glasses off of her face, walked up to me, and smiled.
““Whatever you’d like to watch,” she said.
“I don’t really want to watch a movie now, maybe in a few minutes.” I said
She looked at me, walked closer, and then I felt her lips. They were trembling, quivering, almost as if she was really nervous or frightened. Her lips opened a little. I wasn’t sure what to do so I let my tongue slip inside of her mouth. My hand traveled up her side, finding something amazingly soft, She let out a soft moan and we broke our kiss.
I was wide eyed, staring at her gorgeous face, blushing like a rose.
“I…” I started, but I just stopped for some reason. I kissed her back, this time less nervous and more passionate.
We moved, our feet carrying us to the bed, our combined weight falling on top of it, and within moments we were holding each other, kissing. I felt her pull back a little as my claw touched the softness of her skin.
“I’ve never, ever done anything like this, but I really like you,” she said.
“I more than like you, Michelle. I know we just met and everything, but I think I’m falling for you.” I replied.
She kissed my jaw. At first I thought she missed until she kissed down it to my neck. She then kissed back up to my mouth and stopped. I watched as she reached down, and pulled up her shirt. It was the first time I had ever seen something like this.
“C-can I unstrap your bra for you, or you got it?” I nervously asked.
“I’m okay with you doing it,” she said, “I trust you.”
I put my claws on her back and felt the back of the bra. I didn’t really know what to do, so I just played around with it until it unhooked.
She shrugged her shoulders forward and the bra fell off of them. I grabbed the loops, pulling it down, and then off. Before me was two of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. I leaned forward and licked a nipple. Her hips thrust forward a little, and I reached down to her pants. I looked up at her and she nodded. I unbuttoned them, and she lifted her hips as I pulled them and her panties off. A patch of coppery red hair greeted me as I looked at her. She opened her legs a little. The smell was wonderful.
“So, is that your pretty princess?” I laughed
She nodded.
“It is, and you’ve saved her from her prison, so that means she’s your pretty princess now,” she said.
“Well, she’s captured by another evil dragon.” I replied
“Oh, I don’t think this dragon is evil,” she replied as I carefully touched that part of her, “He seems to be very sweet.”
“Oh, really?” I blushed as I stroked her slit carefully.
“Uh huh,” she moaned softly. I let a claw slip inside and she thrusted forward. I felt the excitement getting to me, my jeans certainly got tighter, and then I felt her hand gently feeling me through my jeans. She was stroking me, softly, and it felt amazing.
“And this dragon is also a handsome young knight in shining armor.” I said, my eyes glued to me fingering her.
“Y… Yes he is!” she quivered as she began stroking me harder. I felt her hand move, and a moment later I felt air around my dragonhood. Her hand felt soft, wonderful, and amazing. She moved a little and then I felt her lips around the tip of it.
“And he’s in the middle of plundering the princess.” I said. I went fully and inserted my tongue inside her. I was exposed to the sweetest, gooiest stuff I’ve ever tasted, like some sort of jelly.
“Mmmrph!” she moaned around my dragonhood before she pulled back, “And this princess is going to drink your courage.”
She went back and my eyes neared rolled back into my head as took me as deep as she could.
I think this is what Jacob told me about , I thought, 69ing or something .
I could feel what she was doing, every moment, every bit of it was making me moan. She pulled back and let out soft moan and whimper.
“Spike I’m… I’m… OH MY GOD!” she cried as she gushed forward.
And I thought the doughnut tasted so sweet.
I let out a moan as I went and I felt her tongue swirling around the head of my dragonhood. I pulled back and saw her swallowing (Because nice girls swallow, shallow girls spit). She looked at me.
“I love you… Spike, I want to be yours, completely, please,” she said.
“I love you too. You wanna be my special somepony?”
“I want to be your special somepony, or body, just as long as I get to stay with you,” she said.
We moved beside each other on the bed, and she leaned against me. I felt the softness of her body against the roughness of my scales.
“I meant what I said though… My mom always said that a woman knew the man she was going to be with forever was the one she wanted to give her virginity too. I want to give you mine,” she whispered.
“Wait, don’t you actually have to have sex in order to take virginity? We only had oral sex.”
“That’s what I mean silly,” she said with a small giggle, “I want to give you mine. I want you to be my first and my only.”
“Like, n-now?” I asked. I was worried Jacob and Babs were worried about me.
“It doesn’t have to be, but I want you to do it. I want to give it to you,” she replied.
“Me too.” I tenderly kissed her. “Michelle, I love you so much.”

Chapter 11: The Seed of Introductions
(Spike’s POV)
I looked at the compartment that Babs and Jacob was in. When I opened the door things were going to change, and I wasn’t sure if I really wanted things to change. I mean, seriously I had just gotten used to the idea of being here. It was going to change how things were between Jacob, Babs, and me when I introduced them to Michelle. I was a little worried about the fact that I had found my special somepony, and they might not like that idea.
Twilight wasn’t that supportive of my attraction of Rarity, but I came to understand why. I breathed in, calmed myself, and opened the cabin door to see Babs slipping on a shirt, and Jacob finishing getting dressed.
“Guys, I… I want to introduce you to my special somepony,” I said.
(Jacob’s POV)
“SPECIAL SOMEPONY?” I yelled. I rushed to Spike and hugged him. “I’m so proud of you, Spike!” I let go.
“Who is it?” Babs asked.
Spike seemed to freeze up. The poor guy was so wound up it was hard to understand why he wasn’t more relaxed. I noticed the girl next to him took his hand, and he seemed to relax.
“Hi, I’m Michelle,” she replied.
“Oh.” I was surprised. I was imagining that Spike had an obese pegasister or something, but she was actually really cute. It reminded me of the Wendy’s girl from that now privately owned fast food restaurant. “Well, Spike, you made a good choice!”
“T… thanks,” he said.
She leaned her head on him and then gave us a small smile and a wave.
“I think that he was a little nervous coming and introducing me,” she said.
It was hard to see why. She was a good catch, or at least it seemed that way.
“Well, me and Babs are going to grab some dinner at the dining cart. You wanna join us?” I asked.
“That would be nice, thanks,” Michelle said.
We stood and walked toward the dining car. When we arrived I could see how what Discord had said was happening. Spike had chosen who he was going to love, and I felt happy for him. Maybe this wasn’t what I had original pictured, but it was good to see my friend happy.
We went to one of the tables and looked at the menu for Caffigan’s. There was two separate menus inside of it. One was the traditional, and the other was completely vegetarian. I watched as Spike looked over the choices and then looked up at Michelle.
“What do you want?” he asked.
“hmmm… Pie, blueberry pie, with a dollop of vanilla ice cream on the top of it. That and a tuna salad sandwich,” she said.
“Oooo… Tuna, that sounds good,” Babs said.
“Is that what you’re getting, sweetie?” I muttered to Babs.
“Yeah, I’d like that, lover,” she replied back while nuzzling against my shoulder.
I giggled. “Oh, Babs, I love you so much.” I said, kissing her cheek.
She smiled, kissed me back, on my chin and then on my lips, “I love you too, more than you know.”
“What do you want Spike?” Michelle asked.
“Ummm… I… I don’t know. You have any suggestions?” he asked.
“Why not try the shrimp salad? It’s pretty good, and I think that you’d enjoy it,” she said.
“Okay, I’ll try a shrimp salad sandwich, and ha… Oh that’s hay fries. What’s French Fries?” he asked.
“Same thing,” I said to Spike. “You’ll like it.”
“Okay, I’ll try those too,” he said.
A screen came down near us and a cartoonish looking waitress appeared on it.
“Welcome to Caffigan’s, name’s Carla, so how ya doin’? We’ve got thirty different types of beer on tap, and at least half that much food, so, what’ll ya have?” the virtual waitress asked.
“Well, we’d like two tuna salad sandwiches, a shrimp salad sandwich, three orders of french fries, and Jacob, what do you want, lover?” Babs asked.
She looked at me and I thought about it. I hadn’t chose anything for myself.
“I guess some chili cheese fries for me.” I responded.
“Okay, let me make sure that I got this. We’ve got two tuna sandwiches, a shrimp salad sandwich, three orders of regular fries, and one order of superatomic, My Dear God my tongue is on fire, Please oh please put it out chili fries. Does that sound right?” the DA asked.
“I think so,” Babs said.
“All right, I’ll have your order delivered to your table in less than ten minutes!” she exclaimed before she disappeared.
“So, Michelle, tell us a little about yourself.” I said to her.
“Well, my name is Michelle Ascalabotes, I was in college until about a semester ago, and I was studying Anthropology. My mom worked as a guard for Amtrak, and I got to ride free of charge. Since Mayberry offered perks like a full scholarship to their employees’ children and spouses for college, I was enrolled in an completely online course, and when Mom would be riding on the train I would go with her,” she said before she stopped.
“It’s okay,” Spike said.
“She… Mom was killed by some bandits in the plains area. They fell on the train and there was several guards killed. Mayberry told me that they’d give me a ride to wherever I wanted to go. I… I’ve just stayed on the train. We lived in the lego blocks anyway, but I know ours is gone. So, I decided to make use of their offer until I figured out what I wanted to do with my life,” she replied before she leaned against Spike.
“Then you found Spike,” Babs said. “I’m guessing you know what to do now?”
“Actually, I do, or I hope that I do. I’ve never felt about anyone the way that I feel about Spike. I’m… I love him. I’d like to go wherever he goes,” she said.
“Just like us.” I nudged Babs.
“It’s so sweet, so Spike how do you feel about this?” Babs asked.
“I’m looking forward to it. I want her to come with us. I know it’s going to make things change, but I think that it will be for the better,” he said.
“Well, I have to admit, you two look so adorable together.” I said.
“You’re perfect for each other.” Babs added
“Thank you,” Michelle said before she kissed his cheek.
I could see him blushing, the bright red coming through his scales.
A moment later a server placed our orders on the table in front of us.
“Mmmmm, that smells wonderful,” Babs said, licking her lips.
“Smells good.” I replied. The ‘superatomic’ chili cheese fries were going to be spicy, but I didn’t care. I always brought a jug of water with me, so I’m prepared.
Michelle took a bite of the tuna sandwich and let out a small moan of delight. She bit into it again and seemed to be completely satisfied to lean against Spike and enjoy her sandwich. Spike on the other hand looked like he was having a hard time trying to decide if he wanted to hold Michelle or eat his sandwich.
“It’s so cute,” Babs said.
“W-what’s cute?” I asked.
“Them, and really, do you need to add hot sauce to those? Won’t it mess with your stomach?” she asked.
“I’m not adding hot sauce. This is already going to mess up my stomach a bit. I can tell.”
“Okay, it just looks like whatever is in that bottle is red, and I know that most hot sauce is red. Oh, it’s ketchup, sorry,” she smiled, “But really, they’re cute.”
“Thanks,” Michelle said.
“It’s fine, but look at your coltfriend. He can’t decide to feed himself or hold you,” she said.
Michelle smiled, placed her sandwich on her plate, and lifted Spike’s sandwich to his mouth.
“Let’s do both,” she suggested.
He opened up and took the first bite of his sandwich.
“Y-you wanna do the same?” I asked Babs, blushing at her.
She grinned at me. leaned against me, and lifted my plate.
“I’d love to lover,” she said.
She lifted the first fork full to my mouth and I opened it. I took a bite and instantly I was greeted to the feeling of liquid fire as an untold amount of pepper juice and hot sauces filled my mouth from the chili fries.
I wanted to scream out, but instead chugged my jug of water until it was half empty that the burning sensation stopped.
“Ready for another bite?” she asked.
“Please!” I said, grinning.
She grinned, readied the bite, and let it enter my mouth. Once I felt the liquid fire of the dish attack me, but this time I was at least ready for it. I no sooner swallowed than Babs kissed me, on the cheek.
“I love you,” she said.
“I love you too.” I replied. I was so happy right now. I was with my girlfriend, my best friend, and his girlfriend.
“So, are you two going to share a bed or sleep in different rooms?” Babs asked with a grin.
“Ummm… ummm….” Spike said as his eyes shrank to pin pricks.
“We can share. I don’t mind at all,” she replied happily,
“I don’t know, Spike and Michelle can sleep in a room by themselves. They need their privacy, and we need ours.”
Babs looked at them and situated herself on the seat. She looked up at me as she held the empty fork.
“So, what should we tell my cousins when we get there? I’m pretty sure that Applejack and Apple Bloom know that we’re sleeping together, but I don’t think that they’re ready to see Spike or know that he’s got a marefriend that he’s been slipping the foal making bone to,” she said.
“Of course, they know we’ve been sleeping together. Celestia smelled your scent on me, so everypony knows we took each other’s virginity. But, I think the Apple Family doesn’t need to know about Spike sleeping with a girl or even existing now.”
“How exactly do you suggest we hide that fact? They’re going to be there with us,” she said.
“It’s not going to cause any trouble is it?” Michelle asked.
“It might disturb them a bit.” I said.
“I seriously doubt it will.. Well, it might make Applejack a little wary since Spike basically grew up around her,” Babs said.
“If it’s going to bother you that much I could try to find somewhere else for us to stay for a while,” Spike said.
“Well, you can always just come with us and surprise the hell out of them.” I replied
“They’re going to be fine with you coming, Spike,” Babs said, “Besides, I’m sure that everypony is going to be glad to see you.”
“‘Specially Apple Bloom. I know you were good friends with her.” I said.
“You know, Jacob, when we get there I had a couple of ideas about what we could when we get there. I mean, there’s a few places we could roll in the hay. I’d like to have my way with you in their barn,” she said.
“That’s kinky, Babs. Fucking in the barn?” I then whispered, “If you dress as a cowgirl, I’m so in.”
“That’s a done deal lover, and I want you wearing nothing but a saddle,” she said with a smirk.
“Full sized stallion’s or a little pony sized one?”
“A little pony? I’d like to see you in a little one, but for a stallion,” she said.
“Deal.” I said as I kissed her, becoming a little horny.
We finished our meals, feeding each other, and we went back to our compartment. the four of us rested for the last small part of the ride.
Chapter 12: The Seed of Family
(Spike’s POV)
The moment we arrived at the station I could see the difference between here and where we had been. There was at least two people working in the kiosks and it didn’t have a weird smell to it. Michelle held on to me as we waited for a moment.
“Babs!” a very familiar voice called out.
I looked to see Apple Bloom running toward us. She gathered Babs up into a hug and lifted her into the air.
“Ah missed ya cousin! What happened? Why’d ya git on the wrong train?” Apple Bloom asked.
“I don’t know cousin, we was all set to come here with you, but something happened to our tickets,” Babs said.
“Spike? Who’s that with ya?” Apple Bloom asked.
“T… This is my special somepony,” I replied.
“W-what? Ya have a special somepony? What’s her name?” she asked.
“I’m Michelle,” Michelle replied.
“Howdy, Ah’m Apple Bloom, that’s Big Macintosh, ma brother,” she said
She looked at the large red stallion and smiled.
“Hi,” Michelle said.
“Babs that’s yer coltfriend right?” Apple Bloom asked.
“Yes,” she said.
“Is he still touched in the head?” she asked.
“No, not that I know of. I have been taking my pills…” I said.
“Well, that’s good. Ya was kinda actin’ weird at the weddin’,” she said.
“Well, I’ll re-introduce myself. Jacob, Jacob Cromwell.” I said, holding out a hand to Apple Bloom.
“Well okay, Ah’m Apple Bloom, and it’s a pleasure to meet ya. Ah know that Babs sure likes ya, and that’s good enough fer me,” she said.
I turned to big mac and did the stupidest thing i had ever done.
“Eeyup.” I said in my best Big Mac impression.
“Eeeenope, Ah dun’t sound like that,” he said.
“Fuck.” I replied.
The six of us walked out to the wagon they had brought. Big Mac hooked himself up to it, and before long we were heading out of town.
“How far did you guys travel to get here?” Spike asked.
“About six hours,” a woman said.
I turned to look at a very pregnant woman and remembered that she was Big Mac’s wife.
“We thought about renting a car, but Mac said he wanted to get all of y’all like he would any member of the family, so we took the wagon,” she said.
"Wagon as in a station wagon or an actual old fashioned wagon?" I asked
She raised an eyebrow and looked at me before indicating the wagon Big Mac had hooked himself up to. It was an old fashioned wagon, something that had been from late eighteen hundreds and early nineteen hundreds.
“A regular wagon,” she replied.
"Woah, where did you get it?" I asked.
She smiled and touched the polished wood on the walls of the wagon.
“It’s been in my family for years. This belonged to my great, great grandfather. It was used for the farm up until my grandma died, and Big Mac helped get it and the other wagon ready for use. We’ve been using them to make our delivers for some time,” she replied.
"Grandma as in Granny Smith?” I asked
"No, actually my grandmother," she said with a small sigh.
"Oh." I said. "Well, is there room for all of us to fit in there?"
“Just look at it. This wagon is easily eight foot long, four foot wide, and about four foot deep. Yeah, we’re all going to fit without a problem,” she said.
“Jessica, y’all feelin’ alright?” Apple Bloom asked.
“Yeah, I’m sorry. Our unborn foals have been kicking my kidneys, and it’s making me a little cranky,” she apologized.
"Alright, let's all get in there!" I said
Apple Bloom lowered the back gate of the wagon and helped Michelle and Spike into the back of the wagon. I saw the footholds on the gate and climbed in and then reached down to give Babs a hand. I helped her in and then Apple Bloom set the gate back and climbed in over the side of the wagon.
"Hey, you alright, Jake?" Babs asked. "You look kind of sad."
"I dunno, Babs. I'm still hung over the whole Collin and Sunflower thing."
"C'mon, that thing was days ago."
"I know, but I just feel that Collin's going to bring back my depression."
"I know what will make you feel better." Babs said, nuzzling me.
"What, snuggling?" I asked.
"You know, our little deal." Babs winked at me.
"Oh, right." I blushed.
"Hey, I love you." Babs said, briefly kissing me.
"I love you too."
The sounds of the city around us made me kneel on the hay bale I was on and look out over the side of the wagon. Everyone had heard about San Diego. At one time it had been a major hub for fans of comics and animation, but over the years the locations had changed, and while there was still a few conventions that came through, there wasn’t anything as big as Comic Con here anymore.
Still, the city had survived, and with a few exceptions it looked amazing. We stopped near a side street.
“Okay, we’re heading out toward the the rural areas. We’ve still got another thirty minutes of city to go through, and then we’ll hit the corporate farms area. If you guys are hungry or thirsty we have a cooler, and we can stop before we get too far, but we won’t be dealing with the Corporate Farms at all,” Jessica said.
"What's in the cooler?" I asked.
Apple Bloom opened it to reveal about half a dozen bottles of Classic Coke, another half dozen of Rootbeer, several bottles of water, and then there was the food. Peach pie, a container of baked beans, and pimento cheese.
“We’ve also got bread, some paper plates, and some plastic forks. If you’re hungry or thirsty go ahead and help yourselves,” Jessica said.
Babs just grabbed a Classic Coke while I grabbed a water bottle. We sat down, chugging the things. We haven't had any fluids on the train besides my jug of water, and I finished that early.
Spike looked at what was there, and then asked for a paper plate. I watched as he got a piece of pie for him and Michelle and then grabbed them both a bottle of coke. Once we were through Apple Bloom closed the cooler and we listened to the sounds of Big Mac’s hooves clopping against the pavement.
“Sweetheart, do you need to rest before we get out of the city?” Jessica asked.
“Nope,” he said.
“Mac, I’m serious. Do you want to take a chance, get a bite to eat, and rest your hooves for a few minutes?” she asked.
“Ya ain’t asking, right?” he asked.
“You’ve gotten good at this,” she said.
He breathed out a low groan and looked around. A moment later I watched as he pulled us over to a small park.
“Okay,” he said.
The park was actually pretty nice. The grass was real, the flowers seemed nice, and there was a few small black tubes sticking out of the ground. I checked my phone and noticed that there was wi-fi available. I clicked on it and realized that the city had set up wi-fi hotspots throughout the park, which was neat, I guess. People can check their emails and stuff without worrying about being able to connect to a local tower.
I noticed Babs was standing next to me, looking at Big Mac and Jessica.
“Aren’t you going to talk to your cousin?” I asked.
“I’m going to, but look at them,” she said motioning toward Big Mac and Jessica, “Look at how they’re acting. It’s about the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen, and he’s being so gentle with her. Is that what we’re going to be like? I mean are you going to be that gentle when I’m that fat with foal?” she asked.
“Of course, sweetie.” I said, leaning my head on her shoulder. “Barbara, I love you so much.”
“They’re plum sweet. Ah’ve caught ‘em kissin’ and being all lovey dovey in the kitchen a few times. Big Mac sur does love her,” Apple Bloom said.
“When is she due?” Babs asked.
“Ah heard that fancy machine of hers say that she could be do anytime in the next two to three weeks,” Apple Bloom replied.
I lifted my head. “Why don’t you two go catch up over there? I gotta make some phone calls.”
“Yer kinda snippy, ain’t ya?” she asked.
“Snippy? Nah. I just want you two to talk about stuff. I don’t want to intrude.”
“Babe, you’re not intruding,” Babs said sweetly before she kissed my cheek, “But if you’re wanting a moment alone that’s fine.”
She and Apple Bloom walked a little ways away from me and I looked back at the phone.
Since the wedding, my contacts have been changed. I deleted Paul’s contact and gained quite a few others, like Celestia and Rarity.
I don’t know how me and Celestia and connected. I guess she’s a mother figure to me, someone that guides me through troubles and bad times, while also keeping my life in check.
I presses the call button on her contact and held the phone to my hand, going to a park bench and sitting down on it, watching Babs and Apple Bloom.
“Rider Resident, Both the master and the madam are busy at the moment….” an aristocratic voice says.
“Alphie, please, let the call through,” Celestia’s voice replies.
“As you wish madam, but this is calling from one those horrid hand held devices. The things are barely worth a paperweight,” Alphie replied.
“This is the lady of the house, how may I help you?” she asked.
“G-good afternoon, Princess Celestia. This is Jacob, Jacob Cromwell.” I said to the princess.
“Oh, you the one who has been with one of my little ponies. It is a pleasure to hear from you again, but I have a feeling this isn’t a mere social call,” she replied.
“Actually it kind of is.” I said. “Unless you have anything to say about me and Babs.”
“Actually, no, I have nothing to say that I’m certain you haven’t already thought of, but it is unusual to receive a call for no reason. Very seldom has anypony just contacted me to contact me,” she replied.
“You never had a social phone call before?” I asked.
“Very few. Most of the time anypony came to see, or contact me, it was because of a dispute that they wished for me to settle. I haven’t had a time or moment where somepony just wanted to talk,” she said.
“Well, here I am, talking to you, socially. How has your stay on Earth have been?”
“It’s actually been quite nice. Thomas has been a gentlecolt, and I’ve been given a chance to help out so many ponies. We’ve recently helped the employees of Rider Farms into better housing, giving them insurance, and even supplying an on sight doctor that will see employees and immediate family of employees for free. It feels so good to help so many lives,” she said.
“Man, if you’re doing all those things, you should run for president someday.” I said, joking.
“It’s something that I’ve been considering, but we must wait for some of the laws to change. Still, tell me, is there something bothering you?” she asked.
“Yeah. I feel like Babs is going to be in some sort of trouble. I just feel a sense of danger sometime.”
“A danger sense? If you feel that she is going to be in danger than what have you done to keep it from happening? Have you talked to her, expressed this worry, and possibly talk about what the both of you should do to keep it from happening?” she asked.
“No, not really. I thought if I talked to her, it would make her worried and scared.”
“It’s noble to want to protect her from harm, but sparing her feelings could be worse than sparing her life. Consider talking to her,” she said.
“Alright then.” I said, “Anything else you want to talk about?”
“Actually, I was going to ask how you are doing in your work. Are you comfortable enough, and comfortable enough to support the foal that I’m certain you know is coming,” she replied.
“Yeah, of course!” I said. “We’re probably going to prepare for our foal in a few weeks.”
She smiled at me. “Very well then. I suppose that you’ve set aside enough to ensure that your foal will be comfortable.”
“Of course.”
We talked for a few more moments before Celestia said she had to leave. We both hung up and I looked over at Babs as she happily talked to Apple Bloom.

After weeks of procrastinating, here is the chapter!
I do have some bad news: the rest of the chapters on this story will be done entirely by me. Ron Jermy Pony has decided to leave the project. So except the next few chapters to be extremely short, padded, and shitty.

I couldn't sleep. I felt like something was bugging me every time I try to drift to sleep.
You know how they say that their minds just drift off to sleep? My mind was just walking around, fidgeting here and there, not sure where to go.
That's exactly how I feel. A swig from a bottle of my Fiji water made me feel a little better. I couldn't see shit without my glasses on, except darkness and a blurred alarm clock which I just guessed to be late.
Babs was sleeping downstairs in the couch. We had an argument, so we wouldn't sleep with each other tonight.
That's why I couldn't sleep. The lack of a warm body nestled close to me didn't give my body the feeling of sleep. My body was adjusted to being with Babs every minute of every day, so I couldn't really rest up.
But I needed to.
I got out of my bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. I need to get a little something to eat, a midnight snack as they call it. What? They said "Make yourself at Home".
I grabbed an apple and cut it into slices, putting it in the bowl and bringing it upstairs where I would have a little snack in my room.
1:02 AM
Even with a bit of food in my stomach, I still couldn't sleep. My eyes couldn't close, because I was literally shaking in fear. Without Babs as a comforting, warm body, I couldn't sleep at all.
I wish she was here right now. I wish I didn't start that fucking ridiculous argument that caused me to sleep alone and cold.
I heard voices from downstairs...
Babs' POV
The sounds of heavy snores didn't help matters. I could hear, what I could only describe as ungodly, snores coming from Applejack and Anthony's room. A few minutes later I heard the sound of someone up and walking. I looked up to see a much plumper Applejack walking down the stairs. She stopped, looked at the kitchen and then walked toward it. A moment later I heard the squeaky sound of the refrigerator door opening.
"Ah figure that yer still awake. Ah know that Ah couldn't sleep without ma Anthony 'side me," she said from the kitchen, "So, if'n you want some advice I'll give it ta ya."
I nodded, and it was like she saw me somehow.
"It dun't matter who's right and who's wrong. Ya dun went and made her upset. We mares dun take too kindly to being made upset. 'Morrow, it'd be a good idea ta talk with her. Tell her yer sorry and such," she said coming out with a bowl of Peach Cobbler.
"Unlessen ya like sleeping on that lumpy old couch," she said in passing.
The only thing that helped my half sleep was a pillow and silent crying.
My mind tells me that I should go downstairs. I hear Babs is awake. All I need to do is just hug her, tell her I'm sorry, then invite her back here.
The bed is too comfortable. I can't get up.
Oh god, the pillow is consuming me with it;s softness. The sheets are keeping my body in place like chains keep hold a prisoner.
I needed to get up, but my procrastination is destroying that option though.
Babs' POV
"Babs, Ah dun't like em, but yah should probably go up to em." Apple Bloom said as she went back to the couch bed and fell on it, mumbing to herslf.
"Mmmm, comfy comfy couch." She moaned as she fell into her bad, cuddling with one of the pillows like her with her boyfriend.
I decided I should go up there. At least I needed to see if Jake was ok. I didn't really wanted him to be crying in his sleep, like what I did earlier.
I walked upstairs and opened the door of Apple Bloom's room, where Jacob was located.
I needed to go back to sleep. I knew Babs wouldn't come, so I just simply lied down in bed again.
The door opened, letting in subtle light into the pitch black room.
Is that...?
I heard and felt someone jump into bed, getting comfortable under the covers, and wrapped their body around me.
"Mmmmm, you're so warm." Babs said, cuddled close to me. "When did you get so snuggly all of a sudden?"
"I...I thought you were sleeping with Apple Bloom after that argument we had today." I said to her, facing her beautiful and blushing face.
"C'mon, Jacob. I wouldn't let some petty argument ruin our relationship. I love you, and that will never change."
"I love you too, Barbara." I said as I gave a warm kiss to her. "Where's Spike?"
"Probably fucking each other in the barn. Which is what we're gonna do tomorrow!" Babs gave me a seductive wink and playfully nudged me. I always wondered whether or not she was in major heat and very often, or her personality just said she liked having sex. Maybe it's because me and her are so bonded together, like Andy and Pinkie.
"Oh, right, the saddle thing." I said, giggling.
"Speaking of sex, why don't I apologize to you by...pleasuring you a bit." She said, brushing her hooves against mine. I felt a soft and warm hand rubbing the outside of my underwear, and then feeling the hand reach inside my pants to slowly jack off my now erect penis.
This is going to be a long night.

Chapter 1: The seed of hope
A Babs Seed romance story
I walked in the old door of my master bedroom. It had been a long, tiring day at work, working at the Glossman Company owned pharmacy, and I was dead tired. I went to the desk of my IBM clone computer to catch up on world events. The VR goggles sat in front of me, and I looked at them with a sense of awe. The pinnacle of modern technology, and these weren’t the most expensive brand. They were the generic goggles that came with every computer. I slipped them on, and felt the earbuds move into place in my ears. I decided to forgo my haptic gloves, and instead I used the computer’s webcam to track my hand movements so that I could navigate the web.
I logged on to my favorite tech news site, The Technophile’s Corner. The black background and green lettering a homage to the now near ancient monochrome screen. I was always fascinated with technology as a kid, and I still am now.

So a loophole then , I thought. These guys look like criminals who get themselves out of trouble with witty lawyers

Wait, Bad apples. Like One Bad Apple, the first episode Babs Seed was in. If they had Babs has a helpmate, I would so get her.
‘but a company can’t be held responsible for the actions of a few of its customers,” Michael Davis the PR spokesperson for Fantastic Dreams said in an interview with us.
We asked Mr. Davis what was his feelings toward the idea of buying and selling what could be considered a very real and living being.
“Well, you have to understand that basic human rights only cover humans. They don’t cover anything else. After all, you have the right to own a horse for transportation right?”
‘Of course we’ve attempted to contact various lawmakers, but unfortunately most have set their Digital Assistants to giving scripted answers. The one organization we did manage to contact was the Glossman Corporation Global Ethics board. Arthur Cheney, the chairman of the Global Ethics board, did say this to us regarding the helpmates.’
“With Technology advancing as quickly as it is, and with our world in a less than desirable state I believe that using these products are perfectly fine. Granted, they should be treated like living beings, but until they are written into laws as sapient beings there’s not much any organization can do for them other than treat them as products.”
‘That leaves this reporter asking a question to himself and to you the readers. Are these helpmates merely the end products of corporations, or are they beings that should be given basic rights?’
‘Theodore Jackson is a field reporter for The Technophile’s Corner.’’
I quickly logged off and removed the goggles before I backed away from the computer. All this legal garb is making my head hurt. I had to take my mind off it.
I went to the kitchen to make myself some dinner. It was about 7 or 8, so it was a good time to eat. I grabbed some rice and soy sauce and cooked it. The smell of the rice began making my mouth water. It was the real kind. Actual rice from the local grocery. Maybe it was wrong to splurge and buy actual food, but the real rice tasted so much better than the synthetic kind they tried to push off as instant rice. I’d eaten that before, and it tasted like melted plastic that had been covered with armpit sweat. No, I’d rather have the real rice, the real food that came from the grocery. I watched as the steam rose from the Rice Cooker, another Glossman Product, and heard the familiar ding. I opened it, scooped it out with the specialty spoon, and then I put it in a bowl, grabbed a plastic spoon, and went back to my computer.
I sat down and pondered about buying a helpmate. A thought came to my mind. Did they even have My Little Pony helpmates? I wanted to know. A sort of buring desire to find out flamed inside of me, so I logged back in, and put the goggles back on. My first thought was to check out the helpmate companies, and I quickly did a google search. Fantastic Dreams and Vivid Nightmares websites both were in the top places, but I didn’t see a thing for Vogon. Shrugging I clicked on Fantastic Dreams only to be led into what had to be what the corporations believed was every sci-fi geeks dream come true.
There was miles and miles of catgirls, green slave women, Twi’Leks, Na’vi, and hundreds of other races, but not a single pony out of all of them. Next was Vivid Nightmare and when I clicked on it I almost instantly I closed out of it. Recreated versions rule sixty-two versions of Slenderman, Unwanted House Guest, and other creepypasta helpmates was there. I grunted in disgust. I wanted to look at the ponies, and that left Vogon. The problem was that I didn’t see Vogon’s link to their website. I looked at the google list again, trying to see where it was. I saw links to news stories, but no direct link to the site itself. I started to close out when I saw an anthropomorphic pony appear on an ad. She smiled, giving me a wave.
I cautiously clicked it and was suddenly redirected to a large psychedelic (baby, yeah!) rainbow colored room. There was a crushed red velvet curtain hanging over something, beside it was a crushed red velvet rope. I walked toward it, nearly touching it when a throat cleared.
“Usually most ponies are polite enough to wait for me to start talking before they look at what we have to offer,” a voice said.
I turned to see an anthropomorphic stallion. His blond mane seemed to slicked back, and his chestnut colored pelt was almost too perfectly groomed. Over it he wore a three piece business suit.
“Who are you?” I asked. He just suddenly came right the fuck out of nowhere.
“Allow me to introduce myself. I am Drocsid, Sales Stallion extraordinare!,” he said as he spread his hands over his head in a obvious pitch like flare, “And I believe, according to our tracking of your use of the web and Netflix, that you are interested in a helpmate. Specifically a Pony, am I right?”
“I don’t use Netflix…” I said. I never even heard of Netflix before. I think it was some old streaming site where people pay a monthly fee to watch TV shows, but nowadays, watching old tv shows is free, especially on YouTube.
“Really? Perhaps there’s been a mistake,” he said as he reached behind his back and pulled out a file, “No, that’s correct, correct, oh, dear me… I seem to have gotten some of the information crossed with a different client. Well, Let’s just start this over again.”
He looked up at me and grinned.
“I see that you’re ready to jump to looking. It’s too bad I do enjoy giving the pitch. Still, the customer is always right,” he said pulling the crushed velvet rope and revealing most of the characters from My Little Pony Friendship is Magic.
Some of the characters, Pinkie Pie, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Trixie Lulamoon, Applejack, Apple bloom, Big Macintosh, Rarity, and Fluttershy were gone. There was name plates were they were, but it appeared that they were simply gone. However, right beside where Apple Bloom had been was the other crusaders, including Babs Seed.
“I’m afraid the full set isn’t available, but tell me, who do you want to see?” he asked.
“Babs Seed…” I answered. I didn’t care if this thing costed 100,000 credits, I need her. It could be the only thing that can bring me out of my depression.
He walked over and pointed to her in her pony form. When he did she transformed into an anthropomorphic version of herself.
“Remember that she’s a living and breathing fantasy. Everything about her will be real. Her memories, though slightly altered to match her new body, will be as real as they come. Memories of family, friends, all of it will become very real to her. Of course the new memories will be ones that you create with her. Tell me, is this something you truly want?” he asked.
This was it, this was my chance to get my happiness back. The news article and the advertisement said that I could get a loving companion for life. A part of me didn’t want to get her. It said it was a waste of time, a useless person, a scam.
“Yes.” I finally said after a bit of thought. “I want her.”
“How much is she?” I asked.
True I didn’t care how much she costed, but I wanted to know the price.
“That’s the rub isn’t it? It doesn’t matter how much an artist loves their work it always comes down to what it’s worth. Each of our help mates are twenty-two thousand credits apiece,” he replied.
It appeared that he could tell that I was still interested because he grinned, and stepped back.
“Go ahead and touch her, just keep touching her for a few moments,” he said.
I touched her on the cheek and her eyes opened. She smiled at me before she glowed a brilliant dark orange color and disappeared.
“Wha-what happened? Where is Babs?” I asked.
“She’s being prepared for you. Just so you know you’ve ordered the Babs Seed. She’s not a Babs Seed. She is the only Babs Seed that will ever be made. Now of course along with her memories from the show we do like to give our customers a chance to add any additional personality quirks, and slight memories, from fan content. You’ll receive an email from us allowing you to select the fan content you would be interested in having added to her personality,” he said before he pointed to the other side of the room.
Another, smaller curtain opened revealing several different suits of clothes. I could see a heavily modified Cutie Mark Crusader uniform, consisting of one of Rarity’s managed dresses, and the cape, Babs' leisure clothes which looked like blue jean shorts, black leggings, a green hoodie, and a hockey jersey that sported the Canterlot Royals, and a blue jean jacket. I stopped him there.
“Those, her leisure clothes.” I said.
“Fantastic selection sir. It will take us two months to properly grow and implant her memories,” he said before the room changed again.
When it did I noticed an Anthropomorphic Discord behind a cash register.
“Well now, it looks like you are going to be taking care of one of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and an Apple at that. Normally, I’d warn you about taking good care of them, but since Applejack is already out there… I don’t think I need to. Although, to stay on her and my good side, do take care of young Babs here. She’s not all grown up yet,” he said swiping a box and handing it to me before he disappeared and everything changed back to the search screen I had been before.
I took off the goggles and got up. I felt like I was in some sort of hallucination, or I had just woken up from a dream. Or both.
I heard one of my father’s friends got a helpmate, specifically Pinkie Pie. That’s why they were gone. People took them as their own helpmates. Their own companions. Their own loving helpers.
And I was going to get one of them.
For the next few weeks, I set up a room for Babs Seed. I bought a bed, ordered some custom posters, and of course some dressers. I tried my best to recreate her room from the show as close as possible, even getting a hologram image of the room for reference, with the colors of the walls and such.
My receipt that the anthro Discord gave me said it was going to ship between 2 months and 4 months.
Well, time passed quickly and it was now 4 months since the order of Barbara Seedling.
Oh, right, my father named Babs, Barbara Seedling because he found out Babs is short for Barbara and Seedling just fit her name. I guess I caught on with it, seeing as how when I watch the show on YouTube, and Babs would appear, I would grin like a maniac and yell “Barbara Seedling is here!”
Anyway, I was waiting for her to arrive. It was 20 minutes until the package company stops delivering. I waited anxiously for my companion to come at the front door.
Finally, what felt like 1000 years, the doorbell rang. I quickly got up, rushed to the door and opened it to see Babs, standing there, staring at me with a blank expression.
I didn’t know what to do, just say hi?
I did that. And she didn’t respond. She just stared at me with her blank face. It was creepy. It felt like she was looking into my soul or something.
I then remembered what Drocsid told me: touch her.
I touched her cheek, and a spark passed through me. Babs’ blank expression changed from a blank to an annoyed one.
“Finally, you opened the darn door!” Babs Seed said. “Now let me in, Ah haven’t eaten all day.”
“Well that’s kind of rude. Aren’t you going to hug me or something?”
“Oh, right.” She hugged me. I thought it was going to be a weak hug, but it was a warm and tender one. “Nice to see you, Jacob.”

Story is cancelled. Too busy with Project S and future stories, so I doubt I would continue this.
and I had such good plans for this story with the Vogonverse story, but, Chris/Frieza kind of kicked me out/ignored me.
Don't worry, you'll see more Jacob x Babs somewhere, just not here. I wouldn't abandon such an adorable couple.
