Soarin gazed out his small apartment window, marveling at the shockingly beautiful spring day outside. The trees lining the sidewalk outside his apartment were filled to the brim with chirping birds, spreading their twittering song throughout the entire housing complex. The shining summer sun beamed through the window, sending bright rays that warmed up the blue pony’s face. As he enjoyed the warm embrace of the spring day, he felt a pair of hooves wrap around him from behind. He turned his head to see the soft yellow muzzle of Spitfire, who was softly kissing his neck. He turned his head and looked at her with a frown.
“What’s the matter, baby? Aren’t you happy to see me?” She asked in a playful tone, noticing Soarin’s discontented expression.
“You know I’m happy to see you,” the blue stallion said softly. “But I thought you had already left.”
He sighed and sadly gazed out the window, watching as a pair of robins chased each other around outside, warbling wildly at each other. “You know that no pony can see us together like this.”
A discontented frown now appeared on Spitfire’s face as she slowly released from their embrace.
“You should probably get going,” the blue stallion quietly remarked, turning around to face the yellow mare standing behind him. Her hazelnut eyes drifted to the floor.
They clung to each other tightly and held a long kiss one last time. Spitfire softly broke from his lips, quickly gathered her things and left the apartment without another word. Soarin heard the front door close, and let out a sigh. He always thought the same thing every time he had Spitfire over. What if Rainbow Dash found out? He and Rainbow Dash had been in a relationship for two years, and while Soarin didn’t regret having an intimate connection with her, he had always felt that there was something… missing. When he had met the strong, confident leader of the Wonderbolts, he felt like the void inside of him had been filled, overflowing with feelings for the yellow mare.
Soarin had just finished brushing his teeth when he heard the clothes dryer in the other room beep, signaling the end of a cycle. The blue stallion remembered that he had put his Wonderbolts uniform in the dryer overnight in anticipation for the flying rehearsal that afternoon. The outfit had started to get stretched out and fit more loosely than it should, and his flying uniform needed to be as tight as possible, as to be as aerodynamic as possible. If there were any loose folds in his clothing, the wind could catch hold of it, causing a sudden loss of control in midair.
The blue stallion trotted over to the beeping dryer and popped open the door, revealing his dark blue uniform. Soarin held up the garment, testing the elasticity with his hooves. It was perfect. He grabbed a clothes hanger and was just about to hang up his uniform when he heard his kitchen phone ring. He quickly dashed to the beeping wall phone and picked it up, still holding his delicate flying uniform.
“Hey, this is Soarin.”
A familiar soft voice answered, “Hey, sweetie.”
Soarins eyes opened wide and he swallowed, trying to regain his composure.
“Hey, baby. How’s my one and only?” He said in a sultry tone, trying to hide his nervousness.
She giggled. Rainbow Dash had always been easily charmed by her boyfriend. “I’m doing great!”
“So what’s up? Everything going ok in your slice of the world?” The blue mare replied.
“Well, I just baked a pie, and I was wondering if you’d like to come over and help me eat it.” She cooed, “Unless you’re too busy.”
“Uh,” Soarin stuttered, “Well, I’d love to, but I have flying rehearsals today.”
“Oh, it won’t take that long.” She answered assuredly.
“Well… I guess I can always make some time to see my baby.” The blue stallion retorted.
Rainbow Dash giggled again, “Aren’t you charming today.”
“I was talking about the pie, Dashie.” Soarin said, smiling.
“I’ll see you at noon.” She playfully huffed before hanging up the phone.
Soarin slammed the phone back onto the wall and exhaled. That had gone better than expected. The blue stallion glanced at the clock right above the phone. He realized that he only had a couple minutes before he was expected at his girlfriend’s apartment, so he quickly hung up his uniform and headed out the door.
The fresh spring day was even more breathtaking outside the apartment. The frantic melodies of bird songs drifting through the air gave the gray city block a new breath of life. Soarin walked down the sidewalk through the bustling downtown area of Ponyville. Shops bustled with life and restaurant patios were filled with ponies enjoying the spring warmth. A group of griffins flew overhead. Somewhere in the maze of city blocks Soarin heard the booming, bass-driven beat of an outdoor party, no doubt the handiwork of the local electronic artist, Vinyl. Soarin’s hometown might not be the biggest, but it had the spirit of any big city and then some.
The blue stallion trotted briskly down the sidewalk, seeing a familiar sight; Big Mac with a wooden cart loaded with plump, red apples.
“Good looking apples today, Mac.” Soarin greeted as he walked up to the wagon.
The red stallion turned and smiled at his friend. “Eeyup. In the middle of a good growing season.”
Soarin tossed him some bits and grabbed a ripe-looking apple from the big pile in the wagon.
“Thanks, Mac. Tell Applejack I said hi,” the blue pony said, giving his friend a farewell.
“Eeyup.”
As Soarin walked away from the apple-selling stallion, he couldn’t help but notice a concerned look on Big Mac’s face. Soarin didn’t think much of it though, his mind still focused on the delicious pie that awaited him at Rainbow Dash’s house. The blue stallion walked on, munching happily at his apple.
As he rounded the last street corner Soarin could finally see his girlfriend’s dwelling, a ranch-style home painted the color of freshly-picked blueberries and framed with candy red shutters. As he approached the suburban home, he noticed that all the shutters were closed. Soarin couldn’t remember the last time he saw Rainbow Dash’s house without it’s shutters open. Undaunted by the odd change of scenery, the blue stallion trotted onward through her yard and onto her porch.
Soarin walked up to the front door, painted to match the red shutters, and rapped his hoof three times on the door. The entrance opened quickly, revealing the smiling face of Rainbow Dash. She stepped out the doorway and gave her boyfriend a kiss.
“Hey there, stranger.” Rainbow Dash said in a playful tone.
“I heard you had a pie you needed help eating.” Soarin said, smiling.
The light blue mare stepped back inside the house, motioning for Soarin to follow. “I guess you’d better come in then.”
Rainbow Dash led her boyfriend by the hoof through her living room, which was filled with candy-colored furniture. She motioned towards the kitchen with a smile, where the smell of freshly baked apple pie had just begun to caress Soarin’s sensitive nostrils. She didn’t need to tell the blue stallion twice, as he quickly trotted into the kitchen. As he entered, Soarin saw the rapturously enticing pastry sitting there on the counter, streams of warm steam still lazily poured out of the top of pie. The blue stallion approached the warm confectionary, dipping his hoof through the flaky golden crust and collecting the hot filling hidden underneath. He slowly inserted his gooey hoof into his mouth, tasting the rich apple filling.
“Oh my god…” Soarin moaned through a mouthful of pie, “This is so good, baby!”
“I’m so happy you like it!” Rainbow Dash said from behind him. “You should have some more.”
“Don’t mind if I do…” the blue stallion mumbled as he reached for another hoovefull of the pastry.
Just as Soarin had almost brought the second piece to his mouth, he heard a metallic clanging coming from behind him. He had only turned his head halfway to investigate the sound when he heard a loud CRACK ring out from behind him. He felt a sharp pain on the back of his head and his vision quickly faded to black.
Soarin eyes slowly fluttered open as he regained consciousness. The first thing he noticed was his agonizing headache. He slowly looked around as his eyes focused to his dark surroundings. The dim space was filled with shelves of random items like a hose, some flower pots, and several cans of pesticide. All he could smell was the damp, mildew infused scent of a dark, wet place. Soarin realized that he was in his girlfriend’s basement.
He attempted to get up, but he realized that he was bound to a wooden chair by the wrists and ankles with elastic cords. The now panicked pony tried to move the chair, but it was very heavy and quite sturdy, even for a strong stallion like Soarin. The Wonderbolt tried to cry out for help, but could only manage a muffle with a thick strip of duct tape tightly wrapped around his mouth. All Soarin could do was sit there in the dark and wait for help.
Only a few moments later, the basement door slowly creaked open, allowing a stream of light to penetrate the oppressive darkness of Soarin’s prison. He heard hoovesteps slowly walking down the old wooden stairs that led to the basement floor, making them creak and moan. The figure reached the bottom of the steps and stood completely still, staring at Soarin.
“H-hello?” Soarin mumbled through the strip of tape, trying to get a response from the stoic figure. “Do you hear me?!”
Soarin begged and pleaded with the stranger, trying to elicit any kind of acknowledgement.
“Please, someone tied me u-” The imprisoned stallion was cut off by a blinding fluorescent flash of light as the basement lighting was turned on, illuminating the dingy dungeon. Soarin’s eyes burned and teared up as they slowly adjusted to the harsh light. The first thing his unfocused eyes saw was a blurry, light blue shape standing in the middle of the room. A wave of terror and confusion swept across Soarin’s mind. No, it couldn’t be.
There, standing still in the middle of the room, was Rainbow Dash, a maniacal expression smeared across her face.
Soarin screamed through the duct tape and frantically tried to move the chair he was tied to. The sturdy piece of furniture barely shifted even with the stallion’s crazed movement. Realizing there was no chance of escape, Soarin looked up to face his girlfriend, who still stood there staring at him.
Before he could say anything, the blue mare started taking slow steps towards Soarin. All he could do was sit there, muted by terror. Rainbow Dash reached for his face, making Soarin flinch, and ripped the strip of tape from the stallion’s face.
“Rainbow Dash, w-what are you doing?!?” Soarin cried out.
His girlfriend didn’t respond, but turned around and walked towards the shelf full of gardening tools on the adjacent wall. She picked up a pair of gardening shears and slowly ran her hoof along the soil-covered blade. Soarin’s eyes widened in a mix of terror and confusion.
“So how’s Spitfire doing?” Rainbow Dash said nonchalantly as she approached her prisoner.
“What? I-I really don’t know… I haven’t s-seen her lately.” Soarin stuttered, sweat droplets starting to run down his forehead. “Rainbow Dash, what’s going on? Come over here and untie me!”
His girlfriend got close to him, raised the shears over her head, and drove the double tips into Soarin’s thigh. The stallion stared at the shears for a split second before letting out a bone-shaking scream that echoed around the concrete room. He looked down at his bleeding leg again with a horrified expression and screamed again.
“That’s going to be the last time you lie to me.” Rainbow Dash coldly stated.
She reached down and pulled out the shears from the stallion’s now blood soaked leg. Soarin let out another loud cry and then a low whimper.
The blue mare stared menacingly at her prisoner. “I know all about you and Spitfire.”
“How… how did y-you… know?” Soarin choked, still panting heavily from the intense pain.
Rainbow Dash turned around so that her back was facing Soarin. “Big Mac doesn’t say much, but he’s an excellent listener.” She said, slowly picking up an old metal shovel from the corner of the basement.
“Big Mac…” Soarin angrily murmered, “that son of a b-“
The blue stallion was interrupted by a metal shovel smashing into his face with a metallic crack. Soarin’s vision went blurry and he passed out from the pain. Rainbow Dash quickly walked over to him and slapped him across the face. Soarin sputtered and woke back up, reeling from the agonizing pain. Blood was pouring from his mouth, and a black bruise covered the entire side of Soarin’s face.
The wounded pony looked up at Rainbow Dash. “Please... stop…” He pleaded, spitting blood as he spoke.
The mare looked at her victim coldly, her eyes widening with anger as a crazed impression appeared on her face.
“Then maybe you shouldn’t have been cheating on me with that BITCH!!!” She screamed as she reeled back and smashed the other side of Soarin’s face with the shovel. The stallion stayed awake this time, reeling in the chair and screaming as blood came gushing out of his now broken muzzle.
“PLEASE!!!” Soarin screamed through a mouthful of blood. “I’M SORRY!!!”
Rainbow Dash ignored her prisoner and stepped towards him, reaching in between his legs and grabbing his testicles. The stallion was barely conscious, but fully realized what was about to happen.
“Rainbow Dash… I’m sorry.” Soarin gurgled, desperately trying to plead to her. “I am so, so sorry.”
The mare started to slowly lift the shovel over her head as the stallion’s eyes widened.
“No... please! Please just listen to me! I’m sorry! I’M SORRY! RAINBOW DASH!!!” Soarin exclaimed, panicking and starting to move sporadically in his seat.
Rainbow Dash had raised the shovel over her head and made eye contact with Soarin.
“RAINBOW DASH!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!!! I AM SO SORRY!!!”
“It’s too damn late. You wanted to be with that whore and cheat on me! And now…” Rainbow Dash exclaimed, the shovel still held over her head. “I’m going to make you pay.”
“I’M SO SORRY!!! PLEASE… PLEASE!!! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”
The shovel came down onto Soarin’s testicles, making a guttural crunching as his balls were crushed under the weight of the garden tool. The stallion’s gut-wreching scream filled the cement-walled basement with the agonizing wail of pure anguish. Rainbow Dash stepped back and dropped the shovel, admiring her handiwork. Soarin kept screaming, blood still running down his face from the earlier shovel strikes. After a full minute of wailing, the stallion stopped and vomited, spraying chunks of apple pie and bile all over himself. His screams then came hoarse, his throat raw from expelling stomach acid. After another minute of wailing, Soarin took a deep gasp and then broke down in tears.
“P-please, just let me… g-go…”the sobbing stallion choked, barely able to speak.
Rainbow Dash smiled and took a deep breath, marveling at the sorrow of Soarin.
“Just one more thing, lover.” Rainbow Dash said, walking towards the tool shelf once more. She picked up a metal apparatus from the wooden surface. All Soarin could do was watch from his chair, in too much agony to protest. She pointed the device at the wooden shelf and pulled the trigger, sending a two inch finishing nail deep into the wood with a metallic clunk. Soarin’s eyes widened with terror and he squirmed desperately in his chair. The mare glanced over at her prisoner and smiled, holding up the nail gun.
“No…no…please…” Soarin mumbled, still suffering from the intense pain coming from his smashed testicles.
Rainbow Dash slowly walked over to the imprisoned stallion, savoring every ounce of his agony. She reached down and pulled out his dick, stretching it out in front of Soarin. She then held the staple gun down over the penis, pressing it down on the wood surface. The blue stallion’s eyes widened and he started to breathe faster. The mare made eye contact with Soarin, and then pulled the trigger.
The nail entered the soft flesh and then the wooden chair with a resounding KA-THUNK. Soarin screamed louder than before, squirming around in his seat. As he made this motion, the nail stretched the delicate skin of his dick.
Rainbow Dash placed the nail gun lower on the penis and then pulled the trigger again, sending a second nail into the delicate organ. Soarin screamed louder, his body starting to shake violently and ounces upon ounces of blood began pouring out the holes in his penis.
The blue mare positioned the tool at the base of the dick, and pulled the trigger one last time. As the third nail tore into the soft flesh, Soarin’s tortured body began to spasm and blood began pouring out of his mouth, dripping from his chin and turning his chest crimson.
Rainbow Dash stepped back and observed the whimpering and broken pony that sat limply in the chair in front of her. She leaned forward and untied the stallion from the chair. Soarin was just barely conscious, focusing on not passing out again. The mare grabbed her prisoner by the top of the head and pulled her face close to his as an impish grin appeared on Rainbow Dash’s face.
“Hope you enjoyed the pie.”
