This sound could be heard in the Evergreen forest in the middle of the night. An big blue box appear out of no where. As though it was fading into existence. It had the words 'Police box' on it.
An man step out of the box and look around. He wore an medium-length leather coat, with big lapels: a coat which has clearly seen a lot of action, it has stories to tell. A burgundy V-necked T-shirt navy blue, hard-wearing black uniform pants. The kind of pants you’d see on a British policeman , he was also wearing an strong leather boots so his feets won't get damage. His hair was an close crop.
'Hmm. That strange. The TARDIS was suppose to take me where the Cybermen base is at. Why did she brought me to an clearing?' The man wonder as he pull out an strange object from his jacket.
The object is gold color with sliver lining. It had an small green blub on it.(Think the sonic screwdriver that 11th use. I can't describe it well.)
He pointed at the ground and activated it. It may an strange noise as he was moving it around trying to find something. After awhile it started beeping. The man turn it off and kneel down to see what cause the beeping. He found the cause was from an footprint.
'Cybermen foot prints. This means there close and base on how fresh it look. Very close.' The man though as he look in the direction the footprint was going.
'Better hurry up and finish this. I'm expecting an child soon back home.' The man though as he ran through the forest. He ran til he found an cave which had noised in it. He saw an dragon man was fighting some Cybermen by himself and losing. But base on some Cybermen pieces on the ground, he putting up an hell of the fight though.
The dragon man had nothing but tore pants on and an neckles with tigers teeth on it. He had red hair that reach down to his shoulders and had an light like skin on his well tone body. His tail was the same color as his hair.
"Restriction is futile. Your chance of victory is 1%. The Cybermen victory is 100%. Surrender this battle and give us your eggs." One of the Cybermen said.
"Go to hell Tinman rejected! The only way your getting my children is over my dead body you bastards!" The dragon man roar as he charge at one of the Cyberman. He punch an hole in it chest and shot fire out his mouth melting it. He then throw it at an other destroying it as well.
The man watching gain respect for the dragon. He could have run and left his children behind, but he choose to stay and fight. So he decided to help him. He pointed his object,still at hand, at the Cyberman about to shoot the dragon back and active it.
"Error! Error! Weapons disable! Weapons disable!" The Cyberman reported to it fellow Cybermen.
"Yeah. Sorry about that. Can't let you go shooting fathers now can I." The man said letting his present know.
"Red alert! Red alert! The Doctor is here! I repeat! The Doctor is here!" The Cybermen announced in panic.
"That my name don't wear it out." The man, now know as the Doctor, said with an smirk.
The dragon turn toward him and raise his eyebrow in question. He look the Doctor up and down trying to see if he an enemy as well. Once he saw he wasn't, he turn back to the Cybermen and got ready for round two.
"Thank you for your help. Think you can give me more?" The dragon ask.
"Yes. I keep their weapons disable with my trusting sonic screwdriver and you attack. By the way, what your name?" Doctor ask as he ready his sonic screwdriver.
"The name Blaze. Yours?" The dragon, Blaze, said as he charge the first Cybermen in sight and start to dismantal it.
"The Doctor." Doctor reply as he dodge an laser and destroy the weapon before it can fire again.
"Doctor who?" Blaze ask as he use one of the Cybermen as meat(metal?) shield from the others trying to shoot him and then throw what remain at the Cybermen behind the Doctor.
"Just Doctor." Doctor answer as he roll out the way and right himself up before deactivating the last Cybermen with his screwdriver.
"Well Doctor. Thanks for the help." Blaze said as he hold his hand to shakes the Doctor hand.
"Oh don't mention it. Just helping an fellow father." The Doctor reply as he shook the hand. The last bit caught Blaze interest.
"Oh, your an father too then? " Blaze ask.
"Yep. Found an woman an year ago and we marry an few months back. Right now we are expecting an child in a few days. Today my last adventure. Then it retirement for me." The Doctor explain with an warm smile.
"Well, I wish you and your wife luck in the future." Blaze said as he started to make an basket.
"Thank you. You may want to leave this place. More Cybermen are sure to come soon." The Doctor said as he look outside of the cave.
"Way ahead of you. That why I'm making an basket right now. To carry my eggs out of here." Blaze reply as he countion to make an basket.
Suddenly they heard 'DELETE' and turn around in surprise. But the Doctor was shot in the chest. Blaze jump over the Doctor and shot very hot fire that could put an lava blast to shame and melted the Cyberman, that rebooted itself after the Doctor deactivated it. Blaze turn to the Doctor in worry as he slump to an wall.
"Hey! Stay with me here Doc. It not your time to go yet! You have an wife to return to. Not to mention an child is going to be born soon. So come on, stay awake." Blaze said in an a desperate tone.
"Blaze. Can you do something for me? Please." The Doctor ask in a weak tone.
"What is it? What do you want me to do?" Blaze said with an sad expression.
"Take my jacket to my wife. Tell her I'm sorry. And to give my jacket to our unborn child when she/he come to age." The Doctor said as his skin started to glow.
"Where does she live? What her name?" Blaze ask desperately. Wanting to insure he furful the man who save him final wish.
"She live close to Evergreen forest in Ponyvill. And her name is Passion." The Doctor answer as his voice was fading away. He could heard Blaze crying out to him. He close his eyes as he let the darkness consume him. His last though were.
'Hope the next guy do better.'

Why does that man keep showing up in my dreams?' Thought a teenage dragon as he made a midnight snack in a V-neck and black sweats. The teenager’s name is Spike. He has green hair, pale skin, and stands around 6’12”. His lack of defined muscles and effeminate figure gave him what many called a “pretty-boy look”.
'Almost every dream I have he’s there, almost like he’s trying to tell me something.' Spike thought as he took a bite out of his gem sandwich. 'Nah. What are the odds that a man known as “The Doctor” is real? I mean, he’s just a dream I made up. Right?' Spike thought as he finished his sandwich and took his plate to the sink to wash, he looked at the clock after he washed his dish, and saw it was 1:35.
He sighed as he realized he’d been asleep for a whole day after Nightmare moon’s return. He tried helping the guards capture Nightmare moon, but she put him asleep like she did to the guards. He’d slept through the whole thing and the whole day afterwards, so he not really tired at all.
'Well, since there nothing to do I may as well go for a walk. Beats staying here and trying to get sleep I know I won't get.' Spike thought as he walked up stairs to his room. A few minutes later he came back down wearing a purple shirt with a green flame on it, purple cargo pants, and purple combat boots. He put a note on the kitchen counter for Twilight in case he didn't get home before she woke up. He then walked out of the library and into the cold night.
Spike took in the night’s fresh air and chose a random road. He smiled at the night sky as he walked. He always loved the night time. He would always take naps during the day in order to enjoy the night. He hoped to meet Princess Luna one day and complement her on the beautiful night. Spike was so busy admiring the night sky, he didn't notice he was being followed. If he were to look around, he would have noticed two bushes with eye holes in them. The ones following him were none other than Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.
Rainbow Dash wore a blue jacket that stopped just above her stomach with the same colored wings spurting out of her back, black finger-less gloves on her hands, skin tight black shorts that stopped above her knees, and a pair of boots covering almost the rest of the leg. Her hair was a rainbow color. Fluttershy was a pale skinned pegasus girl with pink hair, yellow wings, and a simple dress of the same color with schoolgirl shoes and a pair of high socks. The only strange thing about her clothes was her leather jacket.
"Why are we following Spike again? If you don't mind me asking." Fluttershy asked in a whisper so Spike wouldn't hear them.
"I don't know, Pinkie just said to come here and make sure Spike got to this big blue box. I swear, Pinkie is the strangest pony I know." Rainbow said in boredom as they followed Spike through town.
Spike continued walking ‘til he stopped in front of the Everfree Forest, just staring at it with curiousness. He was debating whether or not he should go in it to find the 'TARDIS'. He want to find it. Then maybe the dreams will stop, it had been getting to him more then he would like to admit. So after much debating he walked into the forest, still unaware that he being followed.
(2 hours later)
After running away from a pack of Timberwolves, two hydra, and fighting an evil group of ninja's rabbits (don't ask) he finally made it to a clearing. He was surprised he wasn't all that tired from running, but shrug it off and though it was dragon endurance. He went around looking for the blue box. He spotted something from the distance, but it was too dark actually make out what is was. He walked closer to see what it was, but froze a few feet from it when he saw, standing in all its glory, the police box.
"No. Nonono. This has got to be just another dream. Maybe I never left the library and all this time I was asleep. There is no way in Celestia that the TARDIS and The Doctor are real! It just a dream I made up!" Spike yelled out in panic. He continued to panic for a good five minutes ‘til he finally managed to calm down.
'Okay. Calm down. Maybe if I open this box and find it empty, the dream isn't real. And this box was just here." Spike thought as he tried to open the door. It wouldn't budge. He looked at the door and noticed a keyhole on it. Spike started to look around the box to see if he could find anything, but came up with nothing.
'Okay. If I remember correctly from my dreams, there was another way to open this door. But what was it?' Spike thought. He look at his hands and remembered something. He snapped his fingers and the doors flew open. 'I'm not likening this.' Spike whimpered with fright in his mind. He gathered what little of his courage he had and walk into the box.
As soon he passed the entrance the doors shut behind him, he turned in surprise at the sudden noise. Once he saw the doors were closed he tried to pry them open, but he soon found out it was useless as the TARDIS didn't want him to leave. He remembered that the TARDIS is alive as he felt a warm presence in his mind. So, with a heavy heart, he turned around to the controls .
He looked at it with awe. He saw this in his dreams all the time, but it paled in comparison to actually seeing the real thing. He walked around the controls and gazed at all buttons, levers and switches, repressing the urge to mess with them all. He stop walking around the controls as he found a message on the screen. He look around the screen to look for a play button. He found it a few minutes later as it was blinking with a green light. He then proceeded to press it and began the video.
He saw the Doctor sit down in front of the screen and started talking.
"Hello, this the Doctor speaking. This is emergency protocols delta. If you’re watching this video, it means I'm dead. While that wouldn't be the problem to me, it is to you. The reason being is because you’re the Doctor now. Let me explain before you start asking questions first, okay.” The Doctor said as he adjusted the camera a little and with a deadpan stare at the last bit. Spike closed his open mouth.
"Now to explain protocol delta. It is an emergency plan in case of the unlikeliness I lose my memories after my regeneration. The TARDIS will send pieces of my memories to you. To find you. The memories will keep coming and coming until you have enough and come looking for the source. Once you find it, this message will play like it is doing right now and you get a choice. The choice to once again become the Doctor or live as the person you are now. It your choice. Below the screen are two buttons. The blue one will give you all of my memories and change you body a little to fit that of a timelord. The yellow button will put the TARDIS in a deep slumber for the memories to stop coming to you, so you can live in peace. But before ether one can activate, I made a little message for each one. Take time to think this over. Doctor out." And like that the message ended. With two buttons started to blink blue and yellow like he said.
Spike sat down on the chair with a baffle expression. He couldn't believe it, not only were his dreams real, but he was the Doctor. He thought of what the man on the screen said. He had a choice, to become the Doctor once more or live a normal live with Twilight.
Twilight.
The very first face he saw and his very first friend. In this body anyway. He thought of all the Cybermen, Daleks and other bloodthirsty monsters that the Doctor had stop to save Earth and Equis, this planet’s name, for others sake. If he didn't become the Doctor again, who say they won't return and kill everyone? Especially Twilight. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if anything were to happen to her.
He looked at the buttons again and decided: he will become Doctor once more for her sake.
He chuckled to himself. Look at him being dramatic. He pressed the blue button and another message started to play.
"I see you decide on the most dangerous one. I can guess you are doing this to protect someone or somepony. Either way, know you were fantastic, absolutely fantastic. You made the hardest choice not many would make for the sakes of others. I don't know your name, or you for that matter, but you earn the name Doctor. Goodbye Doctor and have a fantastic life." The Doctor said before the message ends.
Then he felt his body changing a bit. He look around and saw the lights were brighter, showing they are doing something. Spike smiled and said before the lights took full effects, "Goodbye Twilight. I love you."
Then Spike the dragon was no more.

"Are you sure we should have left him? I mean, he seemed scared out of his mind going in the box." Fluttershy said as she and Rainbow Dash were flying out of the forest.
"Yeah. We were just told to watch him ‘til he made it to the blue box like Pinkie said. Nothing more. Besides, what the worst thing that’s going to happen?" Rainbow said.
"I don't know. I just feel like something is going to happen. Something big." Fluttershy said as she and Rainbow Dash landed in front of her cottage.
"You’re just imagining things. He’s just a teenager." Rainbow dismissed with a wave.
"We are teenagers too and we just saved Equestria from Nightmare moon. If you don't mind me saying." Fluttershy said quietly as she opened her house door. Causing Dash to make an embarrassed face while rubbing the back of her head sheepishly.
"I guess you’re right." Rainbow said as she followed Fluttershy inside the cottage and to the kitchen.
"Want some tea?" Fluttershy asked.
"Sure." Rainbow replied as she sat down on a chair. Rainbow stared at Fluttershy’s leather jacket, suddenly remembering seeing her wearing it everywhere. Not to mention the jacket seemed old and abused, like it had seen a lot of action. It doesn't suit somepony like Fluttershy who is kind, shy and quite.
"Hey Shy, can I ask you something?" Rainbow ask.
"Sure." Fluttershy reply as she brought tea to the table.
"Well, it’s about your jacket you see. Why does somepony like you have it? It doesn't fit your personality at all." Rainbow asked bluntly.
Fluttershy just started to look depress suddenly. Rainbow flinched at the sadness in her eyes.
"I'm sorry, you don't have to answer the question. Just forget about it." Rainbow said quickly.
"It okay. I just wasn't expecting this question soon." Fluttershy said as she took off her jacket and place it carefully on the table to let Rainbow get a better view of the hold thing. Rainbow Dash saw more scratches and burns. Some look really bad. Before she can question these marks, Fluttershy started to speak again.
"This jacket use to belong to someone I never got to meet and yet, hold dear to me." Fluttershy said as she took a sip of tea.
"Who?" Rainbow ask curious.
"My father." Fluttershy reply sadly.

Dragon kingdom 1997

I didn't want to come here with my dad. This place is boring. I want to fly around the sky with my wings, but nooo, my dad want me to meet with his friend daughter, who is a earth pony, and make friends with her. She’s okay, it’s just that I have to stay on the ground because of her. I'm getting of ahead of myself, let me start on why I'm here with my dad.
My name is A.K. Yearling. I'm ten years old and I'm traveling with my dad.
You see my dad is into archeological stuff. He studies these kind things for a living. He a great father, but easily distracted with his work. Also, he the only family I have left. My mother died by a sickness when I was three. I got most of my looks from her I heard from my dad and the pictures I saw of her. My grandparents on my dad side died before I was born in an accident with a carriage and the grandparents on my mother side hate my father. They blame him for my mother’s death and had the nerve to try to take me away from him. I socked them in the face and left with my dad. The look on their faces was priceless. So I’ve never spoken to them since then.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention my dad’s name and stuff.
His name’s K.S. Yearling. He stands a good 6'19 and is a unicorn. He has a grey mane, light skin, and his eyes are the color of coal plus he wears your typical archeologist’s clothing. He’s handsome as I have seen plenty of mares try to flirt with him, but he turns them down a lot. My father is a black belt in karate, Moi Tai, and lot of others fighting styles. F.Y.I. He teaching them to me you know. I'm doing awesome by the way. He never talks much except to me and sometimes his buddies if we're in the neighborhood.
Now to why we are in the Dragon Kingdom. My dad got information about strange metal that was used to make armor or something. He was also told about a few ponies that worked here, and a few dragons folks as well, had started to disappear. So, being the curious stallion he is, he went to investigate. Of course he brought me along. Which brought us to now, where we were spending a few nights at one my dad’s friend’s house. It’s not much, but it big enough to raise a small family. My dad got a guest room and I slept with the filly I mentioned earlier.
Her name is Lucky star. She’s about the same age as me. She wears a simple pink dress and white shoes. She has blonde mane and green eyes. She was currently asleep on her bed. It was around midnight I think and I couldn't sleep thanks to the thought of pony's disappearing and stuff. I was staring out of the window at the time and saw something walk by. I couldn't make out what it look like, but I know it wasn't normal. It shape was strange.
I was about to go wake up my dad and tell him about this, but stopped and thought it was a bad idea. I mean think about it: a little filly waking you up in middle of the night cause she saw a strange shape in a distance and didn't find it normal. You would honestly think she had a nightmare and try to send her back to bed right?
So I decided to follow this creature, I jumped out of the window and run across the street, being careful to not make a sound. I hid behind a trash can as it was looking around, probably checking if it being followed. Once it saw the coast was clear, it went on it merry way. I, of course, followed behind.
Two hours later. Still A.K POV.
I followed the creature to a random building. This place was dark and spooky, but I still pressed on. I managed to get through the door without making noise and being seen. I’d been very lucky so far. Anyway, a few minutes later the creature stopped in front of a screen of some sort. I hide in the nearest cover I can find and hope I won't be discovered. I still couldn't see what it was, it was too dark. The screen lit up and the creature started to talk to it. I couldn't understand what they were saying, but based on their creepy laughter after they finished, I figured it wasn't good.
I was planning to slip to slip away and warn my father about this, but I tripped and made a really loud crash. I turned around as the creature looked back and saw me getting up. It pressed a button that I presume sent a signal to others like him, which means I need to make like a tree and leaf.
But before I could try to run, the creature shot a net gun over me and thus trapping me. I try to free myself, but it was no use. I was frightened as the creature stood out of the shadows and showed its face to me. I didn't know what it was, it was close to being pony, but much weirder.
The creature was saying something as it pulled out a sword made of an energy of some sort and raised it over its head as if it was about to strike me down. I closed my eyes, not wanting to see what comes next.
It was going to kill me!
I waited what seemed to be like an eternity, but I felt nothing hurting. I open my eyes to see what going on and found a green haired teen dragon over the creature unconscious body with a big smirk on his face. He walked over to me and ripped the net off of me with ease, mostly because of his dragon strength. I was about to ask him who he was when he placed a finger over my lips to silence me, then grabbed my hand and gave me words of wisdom that I will never forget:
"Run for your live."
To this day I didn't know why I followed him without hesitation. Maybe it was his eyes that screamed old and mischief at the same time. Maybe it was his smile that shown with excitement a little colt would have. I may never know, but I would never change that moment for anything in the world.
I ran with him out of that place and lead him to my temporary home. He followed without problem. As we were running away from the building, I turn to him and asked "Who are you?"
He smirk and said a name, that I didn't know at the time, means hope to all.
"I'm the Doctor."
