The quill pen scribbled noisily against the paper as Twilight checked off her list on her clipboard. She sat at the front desk alongside Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. A bored Rainbow Dash sat atop one of the tables, rolling one of her feathers between her fingers as she swayed her legs over the edge. Applejack was assembling another shelf as Rarity filled up the previous one that was assembled, the two trailing after one another and working at even pace.
"Yes! That's the last of the books that were ordered.", the princess of friendship exclaimed in a pleased tone.
"Finally! can we please break for lunch now? I'm starvin' over here!"
"Well, it is that time, isn't it?"
Twilight looks around before putting her clipboard down and rubbing her eyes.
"Alright, let's stop for a while and have lunch."
An excited Pinkie Pie jumps up from the rolling chair she had been spinning around in and whoops out loud.
Out in the middle of the new library Applejack was nearly finished assembling the seventh shelf when she felt the feathery touch of her timid friend Fluttershy on her shoulder as she gained her attention.
"Uh, Applejack. We're all breaking for lunch now."
The farmer wiped her forehead on her arm and placed her screwdriver down onto the flat surface of the shelf. She then undid her tool belt and also laid it down on the shelf.
"Sounds great! Ah was gettin' hungry anyway."
In the shadows, heavy breathing can be heard. Beneath the breathing, the creaking of a bed can be heard as well. It is there that a pair of lovers have hidden themselves away from the world.
A soft kiss silences a moan as the delicate hiss of fabric sliding against each other fills the air. Tongues entwined, a hand snakes it's way beneath the delicate material of the fashionista's dress shirt, releasing the buttons from their catches at a teasingly slow manner.
She lets out a breath through her nose as a rough hand cups a breast, slipping past the satin material of her bra and claiming its prize.
Their mouths moved against each other as the kiss deepened. The hand kneaded the supple flesh in leisurely intervals, grinding the calloused part of the palm against the sensitive nipple beneath. Her mouth fell away from her lover's as a low moan slipped through her ruby red lips.
She arched her neck, exposing the pale skin to her lover and silently beckoning for attention. An appreciative growl escaped from the shadow as it captured the delicate flesh with hungry teeth, alternating from kissing to nipping in tender areas and earning her cries of delight in return.
The hand kneading her breast slipped out to rid her of her top and bra, leaving her upper torso bared for none but her lover. Another growl rings out as the shadow encroaches, forcing her to lie on her back once more as it took control.
"Hunh, that's odd. Ah coulda sworn that Rarity was just two shelves down from where Ah was. Guess Ah wasn't payin' attention."
As Applejack wandered down the rows, she came across a messy stack of books laying inside a box by the bottom shelf. Her friend was definitely around, the fashionista was one the most persnickety people she ever met and since she was one for perfection
Applejack knew she wouldn't just leave a job with no reason.
The farmer was nearing the back of the building where most of the tables and stacks of chairs were, waiting to be placed in their proper arrangements once the books and shelves were all set up. She then came across a corner where two shelves met with an arch connecting the neighboring shelves, creating a secluded corner of the library. She saw Rarity half sitting on the table within (she didn't remember placing a table in that area....) with her back facing Applejack. She saw the fashionista fidgeting restlessly where she was, hair swaying a bit as noises could be heard.
"There ya are, Rarity! Ah thought Ah lost ya somewhere. It's time for lunch and everyone's waitin' on-......uh, Rarity?"
Applejack noticed her friend hadn't acknowledged her. She knew the fashionista could hear her, the blonde farmer was anything but subtle and this was something Rarity would know. Trouble was, she couldn't hear her friend calling to her.
The blonde walked around the table and went to face her friend.....and cried out in shock at what she saw.
"GOOD GRAVY, GIRL!! What in the samhill is wrong with ya?!?!?"
Her lover took her harshly by her shoulders and pushed her onto her back, their weight pressing her farther into the mattress. She wrapped her slim arms around her lovers neck as she strained her head forward to nibble at the ear. A delightful shiver raced along her spine as her lover pulled her head back by her hair and captured her mouth once again in a possessive kiss. Rarity brought up her right leg and wrapped around her lover's waist, the heel of her red pumps digging into the back of her lover's thigh as she rubbed her heel suggestively against their leg.
Her hands roamed over her lover's shoulders, down along their powerful arms, over their barrel (double barrel) chested torso and down their firm middle until her hands came to rest at the hem of their pants. With a lascivious grin playing at her red lips, the seamstress gracefully undid the belt buckle and slipped a manicured hand inside.
Applejack was aghast as she saw the state Rarity was in.
Once she was in front of her, Applejack saw that a small leather bound book was fastened to her head with two long and rusted chains binding her to it. The book itself looked to be the size of a simple paperback book and had no familiar letterings OR letters in general for that matter. It's cover was completely blank!
Being the size it was, the book only covered Rarity's eyes like a blindfold. And much to her disturbance, Rarity was drooling profusely with her mouth hanging open in a crude fashion. Applejack shook herself out of her shock and tried to get the book off of Rarity's face.
"C'mon, Rares! We gotta get this....thing off ya!"
She grabbed Rarity by her shoulders and pinned her against the table, the amorous coos and throaty giggles coming from her friend giving her a mild case of the willies. With an uncomfortable shudder, Applejack tried to pry the book off of Rarity's eyes. She's caught off guard as the fashionista wrapped her arms around her neck and leaning her head upward to nibble at her earlobe.
Applejack let out a startled yelp and pulled Rarity away from her head, grabbing her by the hair (she knew she'd pay for that later, her hair is her pride and joy after all) and prying her wet lips away from her ear. She let s out another yelp as something pokes against the back of her denim clad thigh. Applejack looks over her shoulder to see that Rarity had her heel poking at her and rubbing her leg the same way a chirping cricket would, only it wasn't he own thigh she was rubbing her leg with. Her hands started sliding everywhere until they settled at Applejack's belt buckle, with her family's apple insignia on the front. And then her hands went even farther. The one time she didn't wear her overalls!
"WHOA, NELLY!!!!!"
She grabbed Rarity by her ankles in a panic and opened her legs to try and free herself. The love drunk giggle that came from her lips did little to help the situation. Applejack couldn't pry the book off her face if she was warding off Rarity's fishnet covered legs. The farmer let out a worried grunt, keeping a firm grip on her ankles while trying to think of something.
"Applejack?! What in the name of Celestia are you doing to Rarity?!?!?!", a shocked Twilight cried out.
Applejack looked over Rarity's shoulder to see a freaked out Twilight standing at the opening of the secluded area, with everyone staring in utter shock behind her. From where they all stood, Applejack had Rarity's legs in a very compromising hold, as if she was forcefully assaulting her, while the fashionista breathed enticingly loud. One of her pumps dangled loosely from her toes and a lavender colored garter was peaking out from where her black tight skirt was riding up.
A blushing Fluttershy "eep"ed out and quickly covered her eyes.
"Help me out here! This here book has a hold of Rari- LAND SAKES!!!!"
A moaning Rarity lunged forward and bit into the side of Applejack's neck while she rammed their middles together with her hands at the farmer's hips. In her surprise Applejack released Rarity's legs and they instantly trapped her in place.
Everyone sprang into action. Twilight and Rainbow Dash took hold of Rarity's by her shoulders as Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie tried to pry her legs off of Applejack. Gaining some ground again, Applejack took hold of the book still covering Rarity's eyes and pulled upward. Rarity struggled against them, grunting in an effort to try and lunge forward again in the hopes of getting a kiss. Applejack's eyes widened and she cursed under her breath.
Twilight caught a glimpse of the book and its bindings. There was no form of print on it, neither written or pressed. However, she noticed the padlock on the chains. The patterns are what made the new princess's eyes widen in horror as realization dawned on her.
"Applejack, wait! Don't take it off just-"
With a fierce grunt, Applejack tore the book and its chains off Rarity's head.
"-yet."
Once the book was pried off, Rarity's face could now be seen. However, her eyes were now pure white with no blue iris's in them. On her forehead, the insignia emblazoned on the padlock now occupied her forehead as it marked her flesh.
"What...the....hay?!"
The seamstress sprang upright, knocking the hands holding her shoulders away, and raised her hips to caress Applejack's groin.
Grabbing her by the waist again, the fashionista nudged their middles together and ground herself against the farmer.
"I knew it! Everyone! Try to get a hold of her again! Applejack, it might make it a little easier if you......y'know, hold still. For a bit."
"Girl, are you SERIOUS?!"
"Just listen to the egghead, AJ!!"
With a growl Applejack stayed in place between Rarity's open legs, grimacing as the seamstress trails her tongue over her chin, lips and cheek. And all the while she was grinding their middles in strong, desperate thrusts and making high pitched mewling sounds against Applejack's ear.
Twilight came close beside Applejack and stretched her hand out to touch Rarity's forehead. Everyone watched as her eyes lit up with her magic, and with a loud cry Twilight sent a strong wave of power through Rarity's forehead. The fashionista quaked in Applejack's arms, her still drooling mouth gaping open in a choked cry and finally falling limp against her in an instant.
"Whew! Finally! Now can somebody get her off me please? I feel a might uncomfortable this way."
She failed to make any mention of the hot moist feeling against her thigh.
A frazzled Twilight had to skim through several stacks of her reference books before slamming her index finger onto a page with a tired but triumphant "AHAH!", causing everyone to flinch in a start.
"I knew it! I knew I recognized that emblem from somewhere."
Using her powers, Twilight levitated the leather bound book that Applejack pulled off from Rarity and showed them the insignia on the padlock.
"W-What is that, Twilight?", a timid Fluttershy asked.
"This is a book called 'The Libro pectus'."
"The 'lie bro peck-us'?"
"Eheheh, No, Pinkie Pie. 'Libro pectus', or 'the book of lustful heart'. It was book enchanted with impulsive magic's. Instead of reading actual words, the book casts a spell so that when someone lays their eyes on the pages they see what it is they desire most."
"Pfft! Knowing Rarity, I bet it was a hair styling book.", Rainbow Dash spat out sarcastically.
"Actually, Dashie, it looked more like a lovey-dovey romance novel!"
They all blushed as the scene from early flashed through their eyes. Twilight cleared her throat uncomfortably and continued with her explanation.
"Yes, well......Because of its influence on the reader's heart, the book was banished. No one knows who created the book or why, for that matter. So there's really no way to accurately lift its enchantment."
"Alright. That's all well an' good, but if'n ya don't mind, Twilight....."
They all turned to see a peeved Applejack sitting at the end of the table, eyes narrow and Stetson askew, with a writhing Rarity hanging off her arm.
"How in the hay does that explain THIS?!"
"Right. It enchanted Rarity so that she saw, and....experienced, something she desired but once you took off the book before its power could run its course, it imprinted you as the one Rarity was....with. Think of it as the same process with baby ducks. Or was it any birds hatchling? Well, you tearing off the book was like a duck hatching from its egg. Rarity was the chick inside and because she
saw you first, she-"
"Ah get it! No need to put that kinda thought into anyone's head! So uh, is there any way to lift this enchantment off of her?"
"Banished literature, especially ones that have magic in them, are far and few in between. I'm afraid she's stuck like this until we can find a cure."
An unamused Applejack grimaced as an over-enthusiastic Rarity darted her tongue into her ear.
"Swell."

I kid you not, this came to me in a dream. Though originally it was a bit....wilder than this, I really don't write this kind of thing (Fem-slash, not love scenes) so I stumbled a bit- or a lot. Anyways, thought I'd share this little grammatically chaotic piece with everyone!
