CHAPTER 1
First day of school
"C'mon, we've only got 5 weeks till the concert we've got to be just perfect!" Exclaimed Rainbow Dash, as she set her guitar down to grab a drink
"Dash, we've been practicing all morning, and that's nearly four hours don't ya' think it's time for a break?" Asked AJ, Sitting in a chair taking a break from all the constant practicing
"Yeah I guess you're right. Come on it's time for lunch anyways"
*Knock,Knock*
"It's open dear," said Rarity
"Hello, is Ms. Shimmer in here?" Asked Principal Celestia as she opened the door.
"Y-yes Principal Celestia. I'm here," I said wearily, not knowing if I was in trouble or not.
"I need to talk to you... The rest of you as well," Said Principal Celestia with a stern voice
"OK," we all said in unison
One by one she took us out of the room and talked to us for what seemed like an hour ( but was closer to twenty minutes), Starting with Myself. We just became really good friends and I'd really changed, so I'd of hated to hear that I had to go. When I came back the rest of them waited their turn as they all went out and talked to her. We all had come back a bit flustered "A new student...... You don't think it could be her do you?" It was then I realized that I was only making the situation worse.
"I believe it is going to be four new students dear; one this week and three more next week. Now considering that the week is Just about done I should assume thaty the new student should be here either today or tomorrow," said Rarity attempting to make sense of whjat was happening.
"Awe, shucks that's a whole whack now ain't it?" said AJ, still confused about the whole situation
Another knock at the door and we started to worry that the new student was here and had heard us talking about them, "C-come in...?" said Fluttershy and in came none other than Vinyl Scratch the schools resident DJ. We all breathed a sigh of relief when she came in and started looking around.
"Hey Vinyl are you missing something?" asked Rainbow Dash
"Huh.. oh yeah I think I left my headphones in here yesterday."
"Oh I think I saw them over by the DJ set."
"Why didn't I think of that?" said Vinyl, Pinkie Pie's mouth being held shut before she could answer
Vinyl grabbed her headphones and headed towards the door but was blocked by Marcus and his lackeys. they were the biggest bullies in the school. Marcus was part of a wealthy family so even if the principal had tried to stop him she'd have been removed without question. They hated the weak and they would always pick on people who were different like Vinyl. She was just as scared as the rest of us and ran to hide behind the drum set on the other side of the room but that didn't stop them.
"Hey freak those are some nice headphones. You should let me have them," said Marcus
"No they're mine!" exclaimed Vinyl in a voice that sounded as if she were about to cry
"[sigh] then I guess I'll have to beat them out of you," he said as he started to kick her in the side
"L-Leave her alone!" said Fluttershy as she attempted to yell at them
"You say something pinky!!" said Marcus glaring in our general direction
We held Fluttershy's mouth closed and shook our heads in fear, knowing that if any of us spoke up we'd get the same treatment as Vinyl. So to spare ourselves pain, and to reduce the pain Vinyl had to go through we sat in one corner of the room and watched in horror as Marcus continued to kicke Vinyl in the side. She took every kick with determination to keep what was hers, then just as she was about to give in to Marcus' demands a figure passed the open door then came back and yelled at Marcus.
"Hey jackass!! Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" came an unfamiliar voice from an also unfamiliar person
"And just who the hell do you think you are punk?"
"I'm someone who hates people like you who prey on those unable to fight back, so why dont you show how strong you really are and take me on?" said the boy as he stood in the doorway
"I just want her headphones so lay off"
"So why don't you go and buy some yourself. You look like you've got enough money.......So for god's sake leave her alone!! Or is it that your father cut off your allowance?"
"What do you care?!?!!" Said marcus stomping the ground right near Vinyl's head
"Oh-ho-ho seems like I struck a tender nerve there... Now leave her alone"
"Make me."
"If you insist?"
The boy simply walked towards them as if trying to intimidate them by not rushing them, but it only made things worse and by worse I of course mean that it pissed off Marcus, Marcus had one of his two lackeys try to punch him but the boy simply dodged the swing, and tripped him all while keeping his hands in his pocket. It was such a fluid motion much like something you'd see from a martial arts master. The second lackey fainted to the floor in absolute fear of this stranger. The rest of us just stood there mouths agape in awe; No one, and I mean No one had ever been able to stand up to Marcus with that much serenity I mean this kid didn't so much as change the expression on his face let alone make it seem like he was angry.
This boy seemed to have been trained in all kinds of martial arts giving him the advantage. Then out of nowhere the boy got right up close and personal with Marcus and grabbed his shirt, kneed him in the gut, and threw him to the floor faster than anything I've ever seen. The boy then quickly walked over to Vinyl and reached out to help her up her it was then we all noticed his hands were bandaged with red spots scattered all over the white fabric, Vinyl flinched in fea causing him to recoil a bit but he continued and gently helped her up and in noticing that she was hurt he pickeed her up in his arms and took her to the infirmary.
Marcus woke up a few minutes later and rushed after him with his lackeys in tow. We followed to make sure that we actually saw what we think we did. They caught him on his way to the cafeteria where he seemed to be going to have his lunch.
"Hey asshole just who do you think I am?"
"Dunno but it seems you think that you're a big shot here."
"Well I guess that makes you new around here. So I'll tell you something, I always get what I want and....... speaking of which that's a pretty nice lunch, I don't have any money for lunch so I think I'll takeyour lunch instead."
"No I don't think you will" the new kid said as he continued walking towards the doors
"I said I'm taking it!" said Marcus as he grabbed the new kids arm making him cringe in pain
"And... I said...Ugh.... NO!!" He yelled as he grabbed Marcus's arm hard enough to make him let go. The new kid seemed to have a strength that could rival or even outshine AJ's and he used that strength to send Marcus flying through the cafeteria doors, knocking one of them off it's hinges.
The new kid rolled up his sleeve and revealed that his bandages go much farther than his arm and that he was bleeding where Marcus had grabbed him just moments before, like some stitches had been broken. He walked towards Marcus who was lying on the ground astonished that he was thrown this far and knelt down to him and said "You don't know anything about me so I'll tell you just one thing.....Leave me alone, because next time I won't be so merciful and you might end up in the hospital or worse." Then he got up and went over to a clear table and sat down. After that the whole lunch room was silent.

Two hours earlier
"Master Anvil, please get up your late for school"
"Ugh... What time is it?"
" Just before noon sir"
"Okay I'm up.... Ah shit!"
"What is it!"
"My bandages broke"
"I'll get some fresh ones, it's about time you changed those ones anyways"
My name is Chester I am the butler to this young man, and to be honest I am also his self proclaimed guardian how did this come to be well... I used to live in Manehatten as a cargo manager for the the docks, one day my boss fires me and the same day my wife leaves me for my boss who she was cheating on me with. I hit rock bottom and decided to end the pitiful thing I called a life, I had bought the gun and I was out in the rain one night sitting in-between two buildings near the ocean, I put the gun in my mouth and pulled the trigger but no shot goes off I check the bullets and they are all clean I check the safety and it's off, the firing pins not bent so I try again... Nothing.
"You're supposed to load it first!" a voice says from the street
I look and this nine year old boy standing in the rain giving me advice on how to kill myself I laugh and tell him to show me how it's done and hold out the gun to him. This boy walks over and takes the gun pulls the slide back and lets go loading a bullet into the chamber and cocking the hammer back, Next this boy jams the gun to the side of my head and says to me...
"You feel that beating in your chest, the sweat dripping down your face, that is fear, that is the feeling of someone telling you that your life is no longer in your control and that they have the choice as to how you die, "
"What do you know about it?" I ask him
"I have seen and felt this at my own hand"
"You tried to kill yourself?" I said surprised and very worried
"Yes but when you look into the lifeless eyes of those you love you see that you aren't meant to die like that and you put the gun down, I'm not here to stop you, or try to convince you that you have something worth living for. I'm here to tell you, you have a choice. You can either sit here and wallow in your own self-pity, or you can get up and make something of yourself ."
It sounded cruel at the time but after saying that the kid tossed the gun on the ground beside me and left leaving me with a choice that could either change my life or end it. As I watched the kid turn the corner I picked up the gun and looked at it, I stared at my choice maker and suddenly heard the sound of tires screeching away, I ran out and saw that the kid had been kidnapped and taken towards the dock warehouses. At that very moment I made my choice and ran after the kidnappers, by the time I got there the kid was standing in the center of the room facing off against a man twice his size while twenty to thirty men sat in the back watching and placing bets. The leader is off to the side trying to get a hold of the kids family and getting frustrated. The man picked up a pipe and hit the kid in the head, I acted completely on impulse and shot the man dead while the kid just stood there as I aimed the gun at the rest of them and walked towards him. BANG! someone else shoots their gun and hits mine out of my hand.
"Who the hell are you?" asks the leader of the group
"I'm.... I’m His guardian!!" I said surprising myself and the kid
"Oh? So what, your here to claim the kid by force... Get him" he said motioning for a few men to restrain me
The kid still just stood there while their boss called the next man to try and beat the kid down, I watched as the man took a swing with a baseball bat, I expected the kid to fall over but the bat was broken into splinters, and in a split second the man fell over with half a bat run through his chest, the next man came up and the kid walked over to a pile of steel beams and picked one off the pile and dragged it back to where he was standing earlier while the man stood there impressed, but he did not want to die so he pulled out a large knife and struck the kid with the handle. This kid still refused to go down all the while I was being beaten down myself.
I watched helplessly as the man with the knife continued to hit the kid with the handle after the fifth hit the man gave up and he did not see what was coming. The kid picked up this beam like a bat and with unbelievable strength he knocked the man through five walls and into the ocean he then turned his attention to the leader who he turned into a skewered rat all the others ran outside and straight into the hands of the police. I turned back to the kid and saw that he had collapsed and I felt responsible so I got him to the hospital. He woke up the next day and I went to visit him though he didn't seem pleased to see me.
"What do you want?" he asked
"I am making good on what I said last night." I replied
"What that you're my guardian, thanks but no thanks I don't need a babysitter"
"Look I may not have seen you're eyes but I could tell that you were hurting inside, so I will be there for you in whatever way I can"
"[sigh] I need a butler at my homestead, and perhaps in time someone to fill the shoes of my father"
"I may not be able to fill your fathers shoes but I'll do my best... my names Chester, What's your's "
He never told me his name that day but in time he did and from there we grew closer as friends and became like family though I still don't see him smile often in fact it's very rare..... So here I am working as both a father and a butler for this young man and I have never been happier.
Present time(Sunset shimmer)
After he finished his lunch the boy left the cafeteria and disappeared. Most of the people in the cafeteria went to look for him but came up with nothing, even Vinyl came out of the nurse’s office to look. She joined us as we searched and we eventually started to give up when we suddenly heard a sound coming from the music room. At first we thought it was just another band practicing but we also heard humming coming from there along with the sound of an acoustic guitar playing. We all peeked through the crack in the door, what we saw caused all to freeze and stare in awe. We all saw but we couldn't believe what we were witnessing...... The new kid was playing the guitar by himself and humming to a song that none of us knew; it was beautiful. I slipped and sent us all flying through the door landing right in front of him.
He didn't stop though he just kept playing as though he didn't notice. The rest of us were all compelled to just sit and listen, though after a while Vinyl got up and started a beat with the song he heard this and started to play faster and started a different song that I got up and started to dance, I wasn't alone since I was joined by my friends and we danced to this song that had no words but a beat that made you feel like dancing. After they finished playing and we finished dancing he walked over to the DJ set and asked if he could play it for a bit. When he did he started out with something smooth which brought a disappointed look to Vinyl's face but just when she was about to step in he stopped the music and just when we thought he was done he dropped an single beat which knocked everyone to the floor. When we got up he was playing just as well as Vinyl can when she's not worried about something, if not better.
Vinyl joined him on the set and started playing as well which started their transformation to their ponified forms. Vinyl had white ears like Rarity and a messy looking ponytail. His on the other and was much more.... well..... different and slightly scary. He had black pointed ears like horns and his teeth became fangs. His hair was still short and his bandages broke with claws protruding from his fingernails. As soon as he realized this and stopped playing and ran out of the room.
Vinyl ran after him just to find him hiding in a corner muttering softly to himself. She put her hand on his shoulder and he froze then continued muttering to himself.
"That's not who I am, that’s not who I am," over and over again
"I don't care who you are or who you used to be. I just care about the person I see here."
He froze and looked at her only to have his forehead meet with her lips. His eyes went as wide as dinner plates, then he closed them and accepted it. He broke away a few moments later and asked her if she'd like to hang out at his place later that day. She said yes and then they walked back to the music room where they told us that they'd create a band of their own. Later they went back to class laughing but before they got there they were stopped in the hallway by Marcus.
"Awe looks like the freak got herself a boyfriend. Too bad he has to get his ass kicked in front of you"
Without warning one of his lackeys came up behind him and attempted to crack him over the shoulder with a baseball bat. His reaction time was near flawless. He put up his hand letting the bat hit it, causing the aluminum bat to bend around his hand. That's when Marcus took out a pair of scissors and charged him splitting the scissors as he ran giving one blade to each hand. The boy grabbed the sharpened blades and they cut through the bandages and into his palms when Marcus tried to stab him.
"WHO ARE YOU!!!"
In the sternest voice he said "I'm Anvil" as he let go of the blades letting them plunge into his shoulders. He then proceeded to headbut Marcus,then swing around and kick him to the floor before continuing with Vinyl to class after he pulled the blades from his shoulders and dropping them on the floor. Marcus was charged with assault with a deadly weapon later that day and so were his lackeys for attempted assault but were let off with a warning as first offenders, while Vinyl and Anvil got on the bus heading for his home.

After the events that transpired at school Anvil was told to go home, He asked if Vinyl could go with him and Principal Celestia agreed they got on a bus and headed to a small village outside of Canterlot city were Vinyl also lived they got off at the entrance to the village and walked up the path to a large gate with a reception box were he spoke into it.
"Chester open the gate it's me Anvil"
And in a British sounding accent "Right away sir"
"Oh and one more thing."
"Yes sir"
"I have a guest prepare a place for her to stay should she decide to stay the night."
"I'll see to it at once sir"
We walked through the large gate and up to a large mansion. on the side of it was a small grave yard were there were three graves before going in he stopped and went there. He walked through the gate and up to the tombstones, he brushed away the leaves and pulled out three roses from his bag and placed them on each of the graves and mumbled a small conversation to himself then proceeded to the mansion. When he moved from the graves Vinyl read what they said.

In the corner of the Grave yard was another tombstone with no grave but it was still there covered in vines and weeds Vinyl went over to it and cleared off the engraved text that looked like it was clawed into the stone with a nail, and it read:

"May he never awaken?" she said before going into the house to see Anvil, confused as to why the tombstone would say that. She went inside and was awestruck at the site of the place but in the middle of the staircase leading to the next floor was a painting of Anvil and his family however it looked as if it had been put through a den of lions because it had been clawed to shreds but only over his face, it was then she remembered what had happened earlier that day and she started to wonder if Anvil had done this himself. Then without warning he put his
"Oh god it's just you...... What's up with that painting?"
"Nothing it's just like that."
"Oh... Well I guess that makes sense."
"Come on Dinners ready."
"Okay. Oh one thing before we go?"
"What is it?"
"Who's Vilkas?"
The whole room went quiet as everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at Anvil.
"I thought I'd never hear that name again?"
"What?"
"Oh nothing….. Vilkas is....... I'm Vilkas"
"But then why is there a tombstone with your name on it?"
"Because when I was eight I... He died............. Along with my parents."
"Oh I'm sorry. How did they die?"
He sat down on the stairs and sighed before getting up and stating that he did not want to talk about it and moved on to the dining hall were a large table filled with all sorts of dishes was waiting. You know how usually a master of a house would have a separate table for the servants; this house was different the table originally meant for the family was filled with all the servants with four spots open two of them covered with dust covers at the ends of the table. The other two sat across from each other in the middle of the table. the dinner was great and as Vinyl was heading to the room that was prepared for her she noticed one door that was scratched to hell The name plate simply would have read "Vilkas" but the last three letters were scratched out and an "A" and an "N" were placed in front making "AN-Vil" Figuring that it was his room and he was probably in there she opened the door knocking as she did so.
The room was dark, all she could manage to see from the hallway light was a moving black figure in the corner of the room. She walked slowly towards it and slowly began to see wha--who it was.......
"But what was wrong with him auntie?"
"Well...”
When she finally reached the figure she realized that it was Anvil his sunglasses much like the ones she wore all the time were shattered on the floor he was covering his face with one of his hands while biting into the other. She grabbed his hands and wrapped them up in bandages while talking to him in a voice that could nearly sooth a bear.
"What are you doing Vilkas?"
"I-I'm not that person anymore."
"Yes you are, it doesn't matter if you think he's dead inside you. On the outside he's still alive."
"So what if he did I bet he had a good reason to do it"
"The man killed them.......he Killed my parents and a dear friend of the family"
"Tell me about it... It's always good to talk about it."
"Okay..... It was my eighth birthday and we had just started to open my presents. I always tell my parents not to get me something expensive so I didn't have a lot of things worth stealing. [Sigh] But they did. A Man broke into the house and attempted to hold the butler hostage but killed him thinking we didn't care about him but in fact he was a very dear friend to the family and he was like a grandfather to me. Then he grabbed me and threatened my parents for money. My dad nodded to me and using my martial arts training (granted it wasn't much) I took the gun from his hands not realizing he had another. My dad motioned to tackle him to the floor but the man drew his gun and shot him in the heart, my mother moved towards him and was shot in the head. I dropped the gun and he trained his gun on me; seeing my parents on the floor I felt as though all at once every ounce of rage in my body burst to the surface and I transformed into something hideous."
"How..... Why"
"My family has a special ability handed down from generation to generation. They are angelic defenders; creatures who take human form and protect the world I am the last of their kind. However like myself every tenth generation has a Different form.... We are cursed to take the form of a demon. A Monster. I took that form that night and I tore that man apart the coroners had such a hard time finding out who he was he's been named John Doe till this day."
"How do you change?"
"We can change at will, however there is a way to bypass the will to change and it can come out whenever our emotions got out of control, such as uncontrollable rage."
"Wait a minute the Wolfs-Banes I knew I've heard that name before it's the name of one of the richest families in the whole City. I heard they were all dead."
"They are, I am the last........
Chapter 5
New friends
The next morning Vinyl woke up alone with the smell of Anvil embedded in her clothes, it was almost like taking ecstasy, it made her nearly go crazy. Then the smell of pancakes wafted into the room and filled her nostrils, breaking her from her trance, it smelled good so she got up and walked down to the kitchen where she expected to see one of the cooks waiting. Instead she was met with Anvil who was cooking, he was amazing he didn't even look away from the pan as he poured some more batter in and made another pancake. When he realized he was being watched he turned to her after putting on his glasses and turning off the stove, his eyes weren't visible and she wished they were even though she hardly shows hers. She wanted to ask about his eyes but thought it would be uncalled for, so she looked at the ground instead, Anvil was the first to speak.
"You're wondering about my eyes aren't you?"
"Y-yeah."
"I'll show them to you some day, I keep them hidden cause they tend to scare people"
"Oh, that makes sense considering...."
"Considering what happened last night?"
"Y-yeah"
"I sometimes have night terrors and that's usually why I sleep in that chair" he said pointing to the chair at the head at the table
"But! Enough of that talk it's starting to bum me out. How did you sleep?"
"Oh! Um.... Good I guess probably the first time I've slept so peacefully"
"That's good we should hurry though, or we'll be late for the bus"
"Oh shit!!!"
They ate their breakfast quickly and got ready when Vinyl came downstairs after finding a change of clothes since hers were filthy she found Anvil waiting at the bottom of the stairs staring at an old picture and listening to some music on his phone. Vinyl looked over his shoulder and saw that the picture was of his parents. She pulled out his headphones and asked him why he was staring at the picture.
"I look at this to make sure I never forget their faces."
"Come on we're going to be late"
"Oh, we missed the bus already so come on I'll take my bike"
Vinyl was wearing a dress that she found in the closet in the guest room she was staying and it fit her style quite well though she was afraid that the wind would would blow it up while she was riding with him so she ran back upstairs and put on some jeans as well so that she would at least keep her cliche look and ran back downstairs to meet Anvil in the front Driveway with a Motorcycle ready to go. The ride was quick and easy and they managed to actually beat the bus by several minutes and managed to get to school in time for first class. During the lunch hour Anvil and Vinyl met with their friends in the music room and had the talk of their lives about how Anvil brought Vinyl here after missing the bus and about how they spent the night together all in all Anvil was more just glad to have friends again

After hanging out in the music room Vinyl walked out of the room unbeknownst to Anvil But when he finally found out he walked out to find her. When he found her he saw that she was sitting in the corner crying, as he started to walk towards her he saw a man walk towards her from the hallway. He started to speak.
"Where the hell have you been!?!"
"At a friend’s."
"You know very well that you’re not supposed to have friends!!"
"What does it matter if she has friends or not old man?" Anvil said
"Are you the Friend she stayed with!?!?"
"As a matter of fact I am! What's it to you"
"You little bitch you skipped making me dinner to find yourself a boyfriend!!!!!?"
"Yes that is exactly why. He actually cares about me....... Unlike you.......Dad"
He wound up to slap her across the face but just before he could make contact his hand was stopped by one that was bandaged. Anvil had blocked him from touching her, Anvil had a serious look on his face and Vinyl's father was furious he ripped his hand away and punched him across the face.
"How dare you stop me from disciplining my daughter?"
"[Spit] Hitting your child is no way to discipline someone"
"It is if it is called corporal punishment"
"You can't call that punishment. Especially if you’re keeping her prisoner."
"She is MY daughter"
"You’re no father"
"What do you know?"
"I don't. My father is dead, but I do know that fathers are supposed to care for their children and make them dinner not the other way around"
Anvil got up and socked the man across the face then dragged him out of the building. Once out he tossed him into the parking lot and said "And don't you dare come back, or you will regret it" Vinyl's dad got up and pulled out a knife and put it into Anvils side hoping to kill him, Anvil however snapped the blade and round housed Vinyls dad into a lamp post
"You think I didn't see that coming...... I saw that knife as soon as you walked in"
"Did you see this!?!" he said as he pulled out a gun and fired it at Anvil who simply dodged the bullet allowing the bullet to ricochet off three objects and hit Vinyl’s dad in the leg.
"As a matter of fact I did. That is why I’m still standing here isn't it?"
"Argh.... this isn't over Kid...."
"My name............. is Anvil, and you'd better remember it because I am the one who will be taking care of Vinyl from now on"
Vinyl's dad limped away and Anvil walked back into the school and straight into the washroom were he took off his shirt and attempted to pull out the piece of the knife that was protruding from his rib cage. A kid walked in and saw what was happening and offered his help. This kids name was Feather-weight and he pulled the fragment out without further damaging his body. He thanked him and put his shirt back on and started to walk out of the room when he turned back and grabbed the piece of the blade and then walked out and towards his classroom where Vinyl was waiting near an open seat. He sat down and placed the blood soaked fragment on the top of his desk and waited for class to start.
"What the hell happened out there Anvil?" asked AJ
"Vinyl's step-father came and tried to hurt her I stopped him and he stabbed me"
"We need to get you to a hospital dear your still bleeding"
"I can't stitch it up here I can at home but I still came to this school to learn didn't I"
That's when he remembered that he had forgot his books in the whole ordeal. He quickly walked to his locker leaving the blade on the desk and grabbed his books when Marcus showed up and entered the classroom motioning for his lackeys to follow, Anvil took his books and walked back to class were he saw that Marcus and his lackeys had surrounded and started to pick on Vinyl. Anvil walked up to them and told them to leave her alone but they just told him to buzz off and find a different seat.
"I said leave her alone." grabbing his shoulder with his blood covered hand
"What's your problem why can't you just let us pick on this freak?" Marcus said while his friend whispered in his ear about the blood
"Because..." he began before taking off his sunglasses opening his eyes being careful not to show Vinyl and continuing "We're not freaks!!"
"O.....M.....G your one of them. A freak...... Get him" but nobody moved they just stared at Marcus with disapproving looks While Anvil put his glasses back on
"What's wrong with you people they're freaks why can't you see that??"
"Because it takes a lot more than them being different for us to hate them" Said Rainbow as she stood behind Anvil
"I don't care how you see us were not freaks we're different and that makes us special." Said Vinyl as she joined Anvil and grabbed his bandaged hand (The one that wasn't covering his wound)
"We don't care about their differences we care about who they are" added Rarity as she joined
"We may be shy but we do have hearts!" added Fluttershy

"And when everyone is different it’s fun to learn about them." added Pinkie pie
"Who the heck cares if they are different take a look around we are all different and if you can't accept that than you shouldn't be here." I said feeling stronger with my friends
Soon everyone was standing behind them with smug looks and determination in their eyes while Marcus looked at them with such anger and if looks could kill they'd all be dead. Anvil and Vinyl looked at each other knowing that while they were together they would never have to worry about discrimination from others and since they had their friends with them the were unstoppable. The teacher walked in and saw Anvils injuries and told everyone to sit down while she figured out what happened. Anvil grabbed the blade before following the teacher to the nurses office. Marcus knew that if he tried to bug Vinyl again he would regret it so instead he stormed out of the room and went to the washroom to wash the blood out of the shoulder of his shirt.
Chapter 7
New studentst
The rest of the week passed and Anvil had taken a liking to the fact that for the first time in a long time he had friends he could count on and enemies that weren't around every corner. The weekend came with no hassle and knowing about Vinyls father Anvil took her to his place and set up a room for her to stay for as long as she so desired. but during the first night she sneaked into his room and crawled into bed with him and startled him.
"Huh...... Vinyl what are you doing?"
"I couldn't sleep can I sleep with you?"
He turned to face her but before he could speak she locked lips with him and moved on top of him when she released his tongue from her grasp she rested her head on top of his chest and slowly they both drifted to sleep, that continued to be the routine for every night that she stayed there. Back at school Anvil and Vinyl went to the music room during the lunch period and asked them if they would like to go to his place for their practice since he had a lot of space in his house. they were about to speak but before the words left their lips three voices found their way into his ears.
"We'd love to accept your offer."
"Yeah do you mind taking us there we do need a place to practice."
"Come on pleeeease"
"I'm sorry but the offer is not for you since for starters I don't even know you and second I am offering it to my freinds."
"We're sure they wont mind right girls?"
It was then Anvil noticed a green smoke flowing over the floor as well as his friends eyes turn a evil shade of green, he turned violently and the voices that he heard came from three girls that he had not ever met.
"Who are you?" he asked angrily startling the three strangers
"I'm Adiago Dazzle."
"I'm Aria Blaze."
"And I'm Sontana Dusk."
"Okay now what are you doing to my friends, and why is there smoke coming out of your amulets are you some kind of sorceresses or something?"
"Duh what does it look like we're doing? We're MPH" Sontana tried to finish Before Adiago Silenced her
"What she means to say is that we aren't doing anything and we certainly are Not some Kind of Sorceresses
"Then what are you?" he asked defiantly
"We should ask you the same thing."
"Let them go and leave them alone..... NOW!!!"
"Fine as you wish. And by the way from what we hear you and that girl are considered freaks by some of the most feared people in the school...... Don't be surprised if one day they all turn on you........ Anvil."
"How......" he began but was unable to finish as they left.
We finally returned to our normal self's and answered his question about practice at his place. Of course we all replied with a positive reaction and we went there that after noon; but that comes later. Anvil was still worried about what Ms. Dazzle said to him before she left "Don't be surprised if one day they all turn on you." He finally brushed it off as a meaningless warning and continued to class where an unwelcome surprise was waiting for him, he got into his seat and when class started the teacher came in and introduced three new students. Those new students were none other than the girls who came into the music room before, they moved up the rows and grabbed the three open seats to the rear, left, and front of Anvil because the right seat had already been taken up by Vinyl who willingly moved it to be right up beside Anvil.
"Umm excuse me .....Vinyl was it?" Adiago asked
"Yeah?"
"Can you move so that I am not behind Anvil anymore?"
"Why should I you hardly know him...."
"You aren't a couple are you?" asked Adagio
"Well....N-"
"Yes we are now do you mind not harassing my girlfriend?"
"Fine but you should know it doesn't take much to find out information about people, all you have to do is... Convince them."
"Listen I get you don't feel welcome yet but that is no reason to try and befreind me right off the bat just because I also am a new kid at this school."
"Who said anything about befreinding you..... Anvil.... If that is your real name?" said Aria
"It is! Now will you please leave us alone?" said Vinyl
"Not until we learn all of his secrets along with all of everyone else's."
"That is not going to happen." Said Anvil defiantly
Angered the three girls moved together and started to sing causing the entire room to argue and finally agree on something. Anvil along with the rest of us got a bad feeling, we turned around only to see that everyone had turned into mindless slaves to these three girls they kept singing and everyone started to move towards the two of them but it seemed to be that they were heading more towards Vinyl. Noticing this as well he picked up Vinyl as well as the rest of us and ran out of the room and away from the music that was seemingly starting to take control of our bodies. We hit the music room and he closed the door he grabbed some sound canceling ear phones from around the room and put them on our heads then went out of the room and back to the class room but not before he whispered the words "I love you" in Vinyl's direction. We followed to see if we could help, so when we got to the room we watched as he walked through our classmates and up to them as they stood on their desks singing and controlling our friends... Well at the time they weren't exactly my friends.
"How come?"
"I did something terrible the year before.....But that is a different story."
He walked through them and walked straight up to them as they stood on their desks singing grabbing a chair as he walked and used it to knock the desk legs out and cause them to fall. Little did we know that AJ had grabbed a guitar from the music room; she yelled at Anvil to catch as she threw the guitar to him and told him to play. He caught the guitar and began to play the song we had played less than a week before; he started to sing the words which to us sounded like gibberish but still gave us a sense of peace and the spell that was placed on our friends was removed and the dazzlings were defeated......For now
Anvil walked out of the classroom and Vinyl ran after him, when she caught up she grabbed his sleeve and asked him if he meant what he said back in the music room.
"Of course I love you you are the most beautiful person I've met in years and I love more than your beauty I love your interests and I love your personality In short I love everything about you since everything is unique and even more I love the fact that your eyes are just like mine"
"Just like yours?"
Anvil removed his glasses and pulled hers off her face revealing that both had a beautiful shade of crimson and both looked reptilian or cat-like.
"hey why don't we go out to dinner tonight i know a place we can both enjoy"
"Sure I'd like that "
Anvil did as he promised and took her out on a date to a lesser known fancy restaurant that hosted various kinds events through out the week, as it so happened that night was rave Thursday and Vinyl had the time of her life though she could not get Anvil to dance with her and that Night when they came home they kept with the same routine as always Vinyl would sneak into his bed and sleep with him throughout the night.

Anvil and Vinyl had defeated the Dazzlings for a time but the concert was approaching and it was nearly time to start with the preparations. I realized that we would need more than Anvil to stop them, so did my friends but they couldn't figure out how to get twilight back to our world.
"I have an idea." I proclaimed
"What is it?" they all asked in unison
"Well when I was still princess Celestia's student back in Equestria She gave me this" I said dusting off a book with the symbol of my cutie mark from Equestria. "Even after I abandoned my studies I held on to it, deep down i guess I knew I was making a big mistake and I wanted a way to still reach out to her.....Maybe it still works."
"That's a book darling, what do you mean 'maybe still works'?"
"It used to be that if I wrote something here it would appear in the pages of a book back in princess Celestia's Library. If I get a message to her than she can get a message to princess twilight."
"So what are you waiting for? Get to writing." Rainbow Dash said holding out a pen to me
I grabbed the pen and sighed "It's been a while since I've written these words."
The message read
" Dear Princess Celestia it's Sunset Shimmer I know you probably don't want to hear from me but this is important. Things are not going well here there is something strange happening to the people and we need twilight to come here ~~ASAP~~ as soon as possible. Please I am so very sorry but I have changes drastically in these past months due to my new friends here in this world.
A couple days later Twilight returned and we started to catch up when the Dazzlings walked into the diner and started to ruin our reunion by their infernal singing that was more or less ineffective against us but was still causing us to argue which is what they seemed to want. Then the door opened again and the Dazzlings stopped singing and turned around then started to sing again but this time it didn't affect anyone as if they were aiming at someone after we apologized to each other we looked over just to see Anvil clenching his chest and coughing up blood as if the Dazzlings were trying to kill him but he just got up and slapped each of them across the face with one swipe silencing them for the day as they left in a haze of confusion as to why their singing didn't work on him.
"Anvil?"
"Twi - [Cough] - Twilight?"
"Um did we miss something?" asked rainbow dash
"Oh, sorry Anvil and I used to know each other in Equestria when he fell through the portal when he was around nine or ten."
"Oh that makes much more sense."
"Hey Anvil what do you want to drink?"
"I'll have a Hot chocolate Vinyl."
"Are you dating Vinyl Anvil?"
"Well.....You could say that."
Vinyl walked over holding their drinks they talked for a bit and then left back to his place were we still had not gone to practice so we followed them, of course we did tell them why so that it wasn't awkward. We got to anvils place and we all stood in awe as the gates opened and the road to his ~~house~~ mansion was opened we all walked up the road we all noticed the grave yard beside the house.
"So Anvil were are your parents? I'd sure like to meet them." I said without knowing about what happened to him all those years ago
Everyone froze as Anvil stopped and turned around to face us he then turned and pointed over to the grave yard and said "They're in there." then turned quickly and continued walking. He got into the house and showed us where we could practice before heading up the stairs to his room. Vinyl followed and opened his door to see that the brave and strong Anvil was hurting, and he was hurting badly we followed Vinyl and watched as she gave him a hug causing him to burst into tears the one thing that was strange though was his tears were red leaving a stain on Vinyls shirt though she didn't seem to mind as if it had happened before. I knocked on the door and walked in along with the rest of the girls who were a little indifferent about the whole spectacle.
"Anvil I'm sorry I had no idea."
"[sniff] it's okay I'm used to it by now it has been nine years after all; nearly ten in about ten days"
"It's almost your birthday!?! I've got to plan your party!!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie not paying any heed to Vinyl's signals to stop
"That's quite alright Pinkie Pie, my birthday is also the anniversary of their deaths That's why I don't celebrate anymore."
"Anvil dear?"
"Yeah Rarity?"
"If you don't mind my asking I noticed 4 head stones but three graves so I was wondering.... Did your mother have a baby on the way?" She said as she winced from the embarrassment of the question.
"No the 4th grave Is mine."
"What do ya' mean Anvil?"
"My real name is.......[sigh] My real name is Vilkas."
"Vilkas as in the Wolfs-Bane Vilkas?"
"Precisely I changed my name to Andrew Andrea Vilkas Wolfs-Bane"
"Why?" we all said in unison
"To keep their memory alive I took their names and simply added them to mine but it was too long so I shortened it to Anvil."
Anvil went into depth about how they died and what he was. We just sat there scared about what he was going to do to us now that we knew his secret. but instead of what we thought he was going to do he simply said "Well I feel much better now that there are no more secrets between me and the people I care about, So who's up for something to eat." All of us blushed as our stomachs growled at the mention of food so we all agreed. Little did we know that Anvil was such a great cook though we were all confused as to why he did the cooking instead of the chefs that he had hired but when the food was cooling down he told us that he had told them that he liked to help when it came to the household chores because he had felt it necessary to keep some rooms off limits to the staff that had just been hired until they knew the story and were sworn to secrecy. he then made us all swear to secrecy for the fact that we had learned that once twilight came back we started to feel less influenced by the sirens music than we did before not that we really were in the first place just that it caused us to argue worse than ever but Twilight told us that our arguing could cause a negative aura to emerge from our bodies and give them the power to take over this world using their magic.
Anvil broke the stressful setting by bringing up the Idea that we could all stay at his place if they wanted and Pinkie Pie became so excited that she launched out of her seat and pulled all of us into a group hug screaming "Slumber party at Anvil's!!" that is when all of us went home to grab our things but before we left I told twilight she could borrow some things from my place if she didn't have any spare clothes, she didn't so she came back to my place with me while Anvil went with Vinyl; to get the rest of her things from her old place as they put it confusing all of us.

On the way to Vinyls Anvil and Vinyl ran into three men who of course wanted a fight and this time they had incentive as one of them grabbed Vinyl and pulled her over to a nearby lamp post and tied her hands above her head. After he finished with that he stood back and waited a minute before walking over to Vinyl and ripped off her shirt revealing well near everything had she not had he hair down to cover herself. The man then proceeded to tear her skirt and attempt to rape her it was at that moment that the light from the lamp post shone on his face revealing his identity to be none other than Marcus's Father who pulled Two wads of money and payed the two men before saying "Kill him"
Anvil ran towards them men but was stopped when a van pulled up and vinyl was tossed inside and driven off somewhere, Anvil was so angry that he cared not for the two men when he crushed their skulls. He surveyed the ground and found the tracks to be wet with river water so he knew they would be near the docks, so before he lost control completely he called 911
"Hello what's your emergency"
"I'd like to report a crime in progress that is about to stopped"
"Anvil what is it this time!?!"
"Vinyl scratch is been kidnapped and taken towards the docks
"[sigh]I'll send a few units your way."
"Screw the units just get one ambulance and the coroners to 4th and Carson and the docks you're gonna need them.[click]" he finished dropping his phone and running off
Anvil ran with the speed of a formula 51 race car and did not stop till he was there and at the dock warehouse were they were keeping Vinyl, waiting for the other two to get back so they could start. The door was 5 inches thick and the lock was top of the line, since the two he killed probably had a secret knock or something he just proceeded start breaking the door down.
"So Vinyl I understand you humiliated my boy at school and your boyfriend nearly put him in the hospital"
"Yeah, so what, he deserved it"
"Now you get humiliated we are going to have so much fun with you and if your boy isn't dead he'll never find yo--[BOOM]...What was that?"
[BOOM]
"did they forget the key or something?"

[CRASH] Went the door as it snapped off it's hinges and on the ground
"You... You should be dead?"
"Sorry to disappoint"
Anvil sped passed Marcus's father and killed the three men surrounding Vinyl before untying her and putting his jacket over her shoulders. After he walked over to Marcus's father and slapped the gun and the knife out of his hands and merely insinuated a simple hand to hand fight. Marcus's father did not back from a challenge so he swung at Anvil and had his fist caught before Anvil threw him to the floor and began to repeatedly pound his face in.
"Why would you do such a thing to some one.... You monster!" He said between punches
"And how do you know what a monster is?" Said Marcus's father through broken teeth.
"Because I am one" Anvil replied as his voice turned into a low growl as he continued to wail on him
by the time the police got there and pulled Anvil off of him he had to be taken to the hospital for treatment for his broken face. Anvil luckily wasn't charged with anything once Vinyl told the police everything that happened. after Anvil called the movers who said they were at Vinyl's and were already loading stuff into the van. So after catching a ride with an officer to her place Vinyl got into the Van and waited but as Anvil walked away he collapsed on the ground, Vinyl hopped out of the van and ran to him only to see him simply exhausted.
"Sorry did I worry you?"
"Yes you did!! don't do that to me I don't know what I would do if I lost you"
"I just overexerted myself trying to get there before they did something to you, is all"
Vinyl laughed but was stopped by her stepfather who grabbed her by the throat and pinned her to the ground, he was about to punch her when he was kicked from behind and into the side of the van. Vinyl crawled behind Anvil who stood up and created a shield with his body to stop her step-father from hurting her.
"Listen you son of a bitch you have no right to take her from me!!"
"I'm not taking anyone from anybody I am merely helping a young woman break away from an abusive household"
"I am going to fucking kill you!!"
"go ahead and try"
Anvil took the beating of a lifetime and still managed to stay standing though eventually he had enough so he grabbed Vinyl's step-father's arm and snapped it before looking him in the eye and saying "If you ever threaten her again I will make sure to make you die slow and painfully" after that the cops took him into custody for attempted murder and child abuse after they went home where the girls questioned them about what was going on and while Vinyl explained it Anvil went upstairs to get cleaned up though he was taking a while so I decided to go and check on him. When I got upstairs I heard crying from the bathroom and saw Anvil crying on the bathroom floor his blood red tears so I asked...
"A-Anvil what's wrong?"
"I nearly lost her just like I lost my parents..... I wasn't able to protect her."
"But you didn't lose her she's downstairs waiting for you."
"I nearly did and that just means I can't protect her, I don't even think that I deserve her."
*SLAP!!*
"Don't you ever say that... She loves you and you love her, Don't you dare try to deny it cause I will slap you again!"
"Why should she love some one like me I can't even keep her safe?"
"Is she dead?"
"No."
"Is she physically harmed?"
"No."
"Was she raped?"
"No"
"Did you risk your life for her?"
"N-....Yes ."
"Are you willing to do it again?"
"Always."
"Than clean yourself up you're a mess, and march yourself downstairs and comfort her."
"I don't think I could comfort her the way you guys could, I mean I'm a boy I just don't understand girls the way another girl would."
"That doesn't mean anything."
"Look sunset I just can't comfort her the way another girl could."
"But you can still be there for her... Now let's go."
We went downstairs only to find that Vinyl had fallen asleep on the sofa which wasn't all that unexpected after all she did just have a near traumatizing experience. Anvil picked her up and took her to his room were he put her to bed and afterwards he went back downstairs to the dining room where he sat in the chair at the head of the table with the dust cover on it and curled up into a ball and started muttering to himself.
"That's your dads chair isn't it?" Asked Rainbow Dash
"[sniff] Yeah.... So?"
"Oh it's nothing I just thought it was......"
"Was what?"
"I thought you looked cute sitting there as if her was holing you in his arms"
He looked at us and got up to leave but was unable to as Spike Twilight's dog/Dragon opened the door to his father's study. Anvil moved with the speed of a mad man and grabbed Spike before he could enter that room and pushed him back before slamming the door.
"Anvil what's wrong? And why can't spike explore?" Asked Twilight defensively
"Nothing's wrong he can explore anywhere in the house but this room is off limits!"
"Now why is that Sugar-cube?"
"That's were they were killed and I swore to myself that I would never open this door again." Said Anvil as he placed one hand on the door and wiping the tears of blood away with the other
We all just stood there wondering if he was alright but it became apparent that he was holding all this in until he met Vinyl and once he did he started to let it all out little by little, and it was destroying him. Fluttershy was the first to move; she walked towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder, when he turned around she gave him a soft hug something he has been getting quite a lot recently. The rest of us joined in and gave him a hug as he looked up and began to cry normal tears to wash away the blood. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Anvil went to answer it but not before looking through the eye hole to see who it was, it was the Dazzlings with their sleeping bags and pillows believing that they thought that no-one lived here he opened the door to reveal who actually lived there.
"Anvil!?! What are you doing here?"
"I live here."
"And how did you come to posses this mansion."
"I inherited it from a family member....Now how can I help you."
"We need a place to stay for the night to you think you can help?" Asked Adagio as she cleared her voice as if preparing to sing him into submission
"I have a few spare rooms left but that is it,however it is the weekend so I will allow you to stay her until Sunday morning."
"Why are you doing this? aren't we your enemies?" Asked Aria confused
"I'm doing this because while I may hate you I still have a heart, and I am not going to let you sleep in the cold."
As they walked by the living room they saw that we were having a sleep over and they asked to join us Anvil agreed but on one condition that they would have to give their amulets to him. Reluctantly they did but they were somehow lost without them and worried that he would break them. Noticing this he put them into a safe on the other end of the room and locked them there, afterwards he proceeded to join us once again. Anvil fell asleep on the couch within the first two hours though for the rest of the weekend the sirens were nothing but trouble.

Over the weekend the dazzlings kept probing us for answers about the live Anvil led before he came to Canterlot, however knowing that he had lived here his entire life we had nothing to tell them and we worked our way around the questions by asking some of our own. I myself was the one they asked the most, probably because they heard the things about my past. I was asked all sorts of questions about Anvil and I was just about to crack when he walked in and asked them to leave as it was sunday and thay had yet to leave, he was holding their amulets and was about to give them back when Adagio spoke.
"You know Anvil there's a lot of negative energy in this place. did something happen here?" She said with a coy grin on her face
"No nothing happened here now grab your things and get out... Don't you have to practice for your act tomorrow?"
"Yeah we do, thanks for the reminder."
And then they left leaving no trace that they were ever there and Anvil was glad to see them go. The next day was the performance and everything had been going as well as it should be except for the fact that the sirens were using their magic to cheat their way through to the finals. The Rainboom's turn was next and their opponent was trixies band and had they not been fighting just moments before they would have played just right and they would not have nearly shown their powers to the sirens. I had no choice but to tackle Rainbow Dash to the ground before the sirens saw their magic, but it might not have been the right move to make as afterwards they were mad at me for doing so. Expecting to have lost because of what I had done, and Trixies boasting the girls had given up but it seemed that the sirens knew what they were and they changed the judges minds using their magic. And so it came to pass that the Rainbooms were to play in the final round that night, but plans changed as trixie having a very competitive personality and believing that she should have our place made us disappear for the time being. Had spike not dodged the trap door into the basement of the stage he wouldn't have been able to get Anvil and Vinyl and the Sirens would have won, but fate had different plans.
"*Crash* Are you guys okay!?!" Asked Anvil through his gritted teeth as he pulled a chunk of wood from his arm
"Were fine but we got to get out of here they're starting!!"
"Then go! Vinyl help them I'll catch up."
She nodded and followed us but split up as we passed the parking lot we got to the top of the hill across from the stage and wondered how we were going to play over them without amps. Vinyl pulled up in her car a few moments later and pushed a button on her keys turning her car into a DJ set allowing for optimal performance, we hooked up our instruments and began to play Fluttershy's song temporarily stopping the trance on the students but they had already awoken their magic and started to use it on us, however we were immune to their trance and eventually we started to lose and twilight lost control of the microphone and ended up throwing it. It landed beside me and it became apparent that I had a chance for redemption and I picked it up and started to sing, I was joined by twilight and the rest of the girls and we used our combined magic to break the Sirens spell permanently. But that wasn't the end as they ran away they bumped into Anvil they stood there and stared at each other and still having their magic left they warmed up their voices and started to vocalize their hate towards him Vinyl got their and grabbed Anvil tackling him to the ground as their destructive voices blasted over them.
"Listen Anvil if we can't have these peoples adoration no one can they must die" Adagio said not knowing that her headset was still on
"Not going to happen Siren"
"Watch us."
Anvil had enough and grabbed adagio and threw her into the hill beside the stage while the other two gave chase to Vinyl. Anvil knew that Vinyl was safe from their magic as long as she kept her head phones on she couldn't be put under the spell seeing as she wasn't in the first place so there wasn't anything to break when it came to her. Anvil jumped over to Adagio and stood over her as she struggled to get away.
"Were do you think you're going I'm over here Adagio" he said slowly transforming his body into his true form
"I'm not going anywhere I'm just stalling you." she said smiling
"Vinyl!!" he said turning back towards the stage
He began to run but was stopped as he was struck in the back by Adagio's hate song, but that wasn't enough to keep him down but it was enough to start a chain reaction in his body that was eventually going to kill him if he didn't get the song out of his head. He kicked her and put in his ear buds and turned his music to full volume so as to block the sing from corrupting his mind. he got up and continued back to the stage only to find that Vinyl had been kicked into a bunch of stage props and was unable to move the two girls joined by Adagio started to sing their hate song and this time it landed a direct hit on Anvil as it began to tear away all of the clothing he had on his upper torso leaving only shreds of broken bandages. He stood there as the smoke cleared leaving only a bloodied and beaten person standing between the girls and Vinyl. He collapsed to his knees and waited for them to finish him off but no attack came as a blast of music from the DJ set sent them flying towards the edge of the stage.
"What was that?" asked Aria
"I don't know but my ears are still ringing" said Sonata
"Stop caring about that and look it's Vinyl" Exclaimed Adagio
"Leave him alone" Vinyl yelled as she took off her head phones and put them down so she could play her music.
"Kill her" Screamed Adagio as she prepared another blast for Anvil
Anvil got up and moved in front of Vinyl as Aria and Sonata plunged their hands into the sides of his chest and into his lungs. He coughed up blood and grabbed their pendants and ripped them from their chests removing their power with them. Adagio noticing that her friends were in trouble rushed after Anvil as he seemed to grow wings from his shadow and took off into the sky. Both were fast But he was weakened giving her the advantage, he turned and was met with her hand stabbing straight through his heart they descended towards the ground Anvil still fighting to get her hand out of his chest they hit the ground with a loud thud and we could see blood pouring out of Anvil's mouth and we were stuck as we had no idea what to do.
Just when we thought all was lost Anvil grabbed her amulet and put it with the others in his hand. Vinyl ran over to him as he lie on the ground bleeding and tried to stop the bleeding but it wasn't enough. I myself had already called the ambulance and they were on their way, Anvil seemed to know what was coming so he put all the amulets in one hand and crushed them to dust but as he did so a light enveloped his hand and started to electrocute him Vinyl Grabbed the amulets and was electrocuted herself but she didn't let go she threw the amulets against the wall and smashed them for good,then collapsed.
The ambulance picked them up and took them to the ER and we ran there as fast as we could. When we got there I immediately ran to find the doctor I found him coming out of Anvil and Vinyl's room.
"Doctor!! please tell me their going to be alright."
"I'm sorry but the damage was to severe for both of them It's a miracle they've survived this long I give them the hour before they pass"
"Your lying!! Please tell me you are" I said as the girls came around the corner
"I'm afraid not. The damage is far to severe for them to survive past the night."
"But there has to be a way... There just has to be." Asked Rarity as she and the girls joined me
"I'm sorry but there isn't anything more we can do.... I suggest you say your goodbyes while you still can."
The doctor walked away and left us to go into the room when we walked in we saw all sorts of machines attached to both Anvil and Vinyl; Machines that were keeping them alive for the most part.
"A-Anvil....Vinyl?" Asked Rainbow Dash
"[Cough] Hey guys what's up.......Oh I see... We don't have much time do we?"
"Anvil I'm so sorry if I had just done what i was supposed to.... If I hadn't hesitated you'd still-"
"Stop right now!"
"Anvil Don't stress yourself it'll only make thing's worse" Exclaimed Fluttershy
"Ugh... Sunset....Listen to me..... It wasn't your fault...... Now all of you listen... We have something that you need to hear."
"What is it" Asked Twilight as he grabbed Vinyl's hand
"Rainbow Dash you keep to yourself too much you need to open up and let the world know just what your capable of....Everyone sees you as competitive and cocky but I know that isn't who you are...... Fluttershy I know that you are good with animals so we think that you should put those skills to another use as well...... We think that you should use them to conquer your shyness towards other people..... AJ you are a strong and beautiful girl and we know that you won't let anyone down so do me a favor and never let that farm of yours die."
"Now don't cha' worry bout that I'll keep that farm runnin till I kick the bucket."
"Rarity you are a talented seamstress and...... [cough] and I just know that you could make your own fashion line if you put your mind to it.....Twilight you are a princess and a damn fine one if you ask me i know that you will keep your world from falling into negativity........ And Pinkie Pie poof up your hair you don't look right when your not happy......[cough, cough] .....Listen to me pinkie pie I don't want any of you to mourn for me in fact I want you to celebrate my death, right now we're in so much pain... Be glad that it's over and be glad that we will no longer be suffering...... Spike you little rascal i want you to take care of twilight for me always be there for her and without a doubt do it with all the bravery you can muster up......"
"Girls I want you to all promise me something?" asked Vinyl
"What is it?" asked AJ
"I want you to promise me that you will never forget us and that under no circumstances will you ever fight among yourselves."
"Don't worry dear. That won't happen." replied Rarity
"Now all of you......[Cough,wheeze] ......and that includes you Sunset...... take our hands" Said Anvil as we all took their hands. "I want you to never forget these words that are coming out of my mouth... But if you don't mind do forget the blood, not pleasant....... Never let the ones you care about slip away from you. They're all you have."
Suddenly the door opened and in came the mayor and principal Celestia saying they wanted to erect a statue in front of the school for the two of them.
"Hey Vinyl"
"Yeah?"
"I have an idea."
"What is it?"
"Lets get buried together underneath the statue. That way we can stay close to our friends."
"That sounds nice....."
"Thank you guys.......for everything..... but it seems it's time.......for us to go........."
As the sound of their heart monitor made a slow steady noise they had passed but it felt as if they hadn't really left as if they left a piece of their soul in each of us now all that's left is the funeral preparations.

Just to clarify this isn't all like the movie Rainbow rocks but their are some parts that when mentioned are part of the original story line
Chapter 11
R.I.P
A week after Anvil and Vinyl Passed away it was the funeral everyone wore black even Pinkie Pie who usually is wearing pink or some bright vivid color was wearing a black dress for the occasion of his funeral well I guess I should say their funeral there was of course two hero's from this ordeal. A hole was dug underneath the place were the statue was to be placed and all the students asked the seven of us to be pall bearers and we agreed, then something we didn't expect came up...
"Umm Sunset do you think I could help you carry them in?" asked a voice we all knew too well and the suddenness of it caused us all to gasp
"What do you want Marcus you were a bully to both of them and now you expect us to let you help us carry them to their final resting place?" Asked Rainbow Dash
"I'M SORRY ALRIGHT!!!...... I was a jerk and it was because I was always looked down upon by my father and looking down on others made me feel better I guess but then he stood up to me and I started realize how wrong I was. But after Everyone stood up to me I finally realized that I was wrong, and then I saw them give their lives for us now I respect them they are hero's not freaks. So please let me make up for what I've done and let me put him to rest with you as a friend."
"Well I guess it's alright they'll be here soon so best be ready... Anvil's gonna be heavy." I said knowing very well why
The got here and they were placed at the front on two altars that were beside each other, Anvil was placed in a suit of armor that we found in his room with his name on it and Vinyl was in a dress that Rarity made for her...... He looked handsome and she looked stunning and we all planed to make something for them. First was AJ who designed their coffins and made sure to engrave their names on their lids and a message saying "Lest We Forget Two Of Our Greatest Heroes", next was Rainbow Dash who helped with the making of the statue and the plaque that was to go on the front under a bullet proof glass case that was to hold something special to both of them, After her came Fluttershy Who came with baskets of flowers and four things on a pillow the flowers were black roses for him and white ones for her. The things on the pillow were two wedding rings that she placed on each of their left ring fingers and two crowns one of gold and the other of silver.
"Fluttershy were did you get the money for these they look like they cost at least two thousand bi- Dollars" Inquired Twilight
"I didn't have to pay for them I found them in his parents room."
"You went in there?"
"Yeah i know I shouldn't have but I also believed that most of everything would be pawned off after some thief ransacked the place."
"Well I should confess I also found something.... this." said Twilight as she pulled out a sword with an engraving in a language that no-one could read
We took the sword to Principal Celestia and asked if she knew the language to which she replied with "It is the language of the angels legendary guardians of this planet all said to be dead after they were one by one hunted down under the belief that they were in fact malicious beings set on world domination. However not all were killed some survived and went into hiding about four hundred years ago around the same time the first Wolfs-Bane appeared in this country"
"Is there any legend of one with demonic powers?" asked Rainbow Dash
"As a matter of fact it is said in legend that every ten generations an Angel is cursed with demonic powers upon birth and is tasked with wiping out the Angels but 18 years ago an Angel was said to have been born and cursed with that task. But that Angel was set free once it was the last. However it did not do the mission as he was only a child"
"Vilkas!?!"
"Yes but how did you know?"
"How could you not tell that Anvil was Vilkas?"
"He was the last of the Angels!"
"I wouldn't say that in fact I would say he was the first." stated Twilight
"And how do you come to posses this knowledge?"
"Because I believe a piece of him lives on in each of us"
We left the Principal to her thoughts and went back out to the ceremony were we left the sword in Anvil's hands as we moved on with the ceremony. Next was Pinkie Pie she had nothing to give but a kiss on each of their cheeks after she cried in AJ's embrace. Last was me I had spent the whole looking through my album of pictures I took of those two and I finally found one of them the day they met and I put it in a frame and put it inside the school on a wall that I had to rebuild and repaint. After that one by one people left a piece of themselves with them as they were placed into the tomb before closing it up for good. Once that was over the speeches came first was the mayor and chief of police.
"Ahem, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that this pair of fine young people were heroes and they gave their lives so that we could have a brighter future....that is all...and now the chief of police.."
"Thank you mayor.... Anvil was a friend of mine he was to all of us and to the force he was nothing short of a hero...Always was he placed more crooks in jail in one month than we have in years but it did seem he had a Knack for getting hurt. I've known him since he was a small tyke when I was just a sergeant taking notes on the night of his parents murder. But that was a long time ago today we lay him to rest but no matter what it seems he and Vinyl Scratch; a young lady that broke through the wall around his heart and set him free; are both heroes"
All of the students went up at once and one spoke saying "We may not have known him long but he was a friend and so was Vinyl to many of us the smile on her face brought joy to the boring school life we were all ready for a nap some days when she would walk by her music blaring and her smile beaming, they are heroes and true friends." then it was our turn we all had the same thing to say so we all went up together and I was the one to speak, I was so shy that i had to gather courage a multiple of times. I went on to tell every one what he had said to us the night he died and then I held up their sunglasses and their head phones the things that made them connect so well and I put them into the case on the front of the statue and locked it for the last time. "May they rest in peace" I shouted to the crowd and they all cheered and started to party because that is what they would have wanted, not for us to mourn their deaths but for us to celebrate their lives to be happy for their existence.
About halfway through the celebration three people showed up and place a wreath at the bottom of the statue and removed their hoods.... it was the sirens.
"How dare you!!... You killed them and now you feel sorry about it" Pinkie Pie screamed at them trying to get past AJ to grab the cake knife off the table
"We're sorry what we did was wrong we should be the ones lying in the ground some were in a prison graveyard not them." Said Aria
"Oh and were supposed to care that you're sorry ?"
"No we did this so we came to say we're sorry and to give them this." Said Sonata pulling out a chest plate encrusted with a large jewel on each of the places were they stabbed him. I swore I wouldn't do it but I reopened the case and placed it right at the back as an apologetic statement. the chief of police took the three of them into custody and they were sentenced to juvenile prison for two years and then the women's prison for 23. Anvil and Vinyl got their justice and they were able to leave but instead they stayed to guide us through thick and thin even though they still Rest in Peace.
Epilogue
"Auntie were are you taking me?"
"Back to the school I want you to meet some people."
Sunset shimmer and her niece were going to meet up with twilight and the rest of her friends for a picnic in front of the statue slash portal but when they got there something wasn't right.
"Hey guys whats going on?"
"twilight wants to open the case."
"What why?"
"I want to reveal the truth I can't stand lying about it anymore I -- I just want to be able to see them again."
"we all do."
"Hey I have a question" sunset's niece said
"And what's that?" replied Rarity
"Why does it seem like your hiding something from the children of this town?"
"Geez Sunset your niece is just like her mother Incredibly perceptive."
"They're not really dead are they." Sunset's niece said Skeptically
"That's the thing we don't actually know" Sunset said also tired of lying
"Perhaps they've gone into hiding from some unnameable terror"
"yeah I Perhaps they have" Sunset said glad that the truth remained a mystery at least to the younger generation of Canterlot

Chapter 4: First Night Over

First night over
Vinyl’s first night over at Anvil's was strange and yet not at all; she went down to the kitchen that night to get some water and found Anvil in the dining room sleeping in his father’s chair. Vinyl placed the glass on the table and grabbed a blanket, placed it on Anvil and started to walk away. It was then she started to hear him talk in his sleep.
"Uh.... Mommy please...... Please don't leave me alone again.......Not -Not Again."
"A-Anvil"
"Dad!... Dad No...... Stop..... Don't......... It's a trap!!"
"Mom, Dad No!!!!!!"
He got up; still half asleep; and transformed into a beast with claws and razor sharp teeth, he was so fearsome he scared Vinyl into dropping her glass. It smashed; the sound rushed into Anvils ears and woke him from his slumber, seeing what he had done he changed back. His clothes were torn and his bandages scattered. Suddenly a clattering sound came from the study, and without explaining Anvil rushed towards it and opened the doors to reveal two thieves who were attempting to steal his family’s valuables. He didn't waste time dispatching them seeing as all he did was grab their heads and bash them together knocking them out, all without changing the expression on his face, but he was stabbed in the collar bone. After he called the police to come pick them up, pulled the knife from his skin stitched it up and then he went to bed, Vinyl was still worried about him so she went to his room, opened the door and crawled into his bed with him.
"Vinyl what are you doing?!?"
"I don’t want you to be alone anymore."
Vinyl looked up at him and saw a single tear escape from his eye; eyes that she has never seen. And for the first time in a very long while he smiled, she snuggled up kept close to him throughout the night after kissing him on the cheek and going to sleep. Halfway through the night she woke up and noticed that he was hugging her close without thinking she hugged him back and smiled, whispering softly "Thank you."
Prologue
"Auntie I'm home!"
"Oh welcome home how was your first day at school?"
"It was good, but the statue at the front of the school..... Who's it for?"
"It's for an old friend of mine"
"But the sign said 'Anvil'... And 'Vinyl'....Auntie Shimmer who're Anvil an Vinyl"
"Anvil, and Vinyl? Now there's a few names I haven't heard in a long time. Well they were different than most of us and had a different sense of humor than others, but they were kind and caring and I used to know them when I was a student at Canterlot High School."
"How did you know them?"
"Come child, Let me tell you a story, The Story of Anvil; It was the second month of school, fifteen years ago, and the principal had some business to tend to in the music room. There were a few new students going to CHS and she wanted myself, Your mother and some very close friends of mine to show them around when they came..................."
