Fallout: Equestria FillyTales
I can't believe almost a mouth ago, i lived a happy live as a scavenger in the wastes. Now My live is a living hell...My Full name is Entropy Gizmo, But most ponies call me Giz, I am a gray unicorn who lives on the edge of whats left of Manehatten, yes, i do get shit for tennpony, And yes i am a stallion, yes my cutie mark is 2 gears with a bolt of pink lighting. Let's back up to the beginning of our story,shan't we?
I was Not Born in a stable, I was Born at what ones was Rainbow falls, not to far from the Cloudsdale ruins. I was scavenger like my father and his father...or so i am told,I never knew my father he left my mother when i was born. We were always on the move, I found my talent with arcane devises and spell working, it has saved my hide more then ones. My mother Died when slavers attacked us,they left me for dead...i got better...Anyway let's start.
I woke up to the sound of, what else, Somepony trying to brake into my house. Groaning, I got up, and grabbed my Beam Pistol and Slid into my barding, A simple Coat with gems in it, It didn't fit me well, it was a foal's coat, but it's better then buckshot in the flank. I walked to the door, i slid the Peep hole, and was greeted with a raiders crazed babbling. He Peeked in the small gap in the door, "I am going to get in there and Kill you, then rape your body" He Giggled, i sighed, Put the pistol to the hole and dusted him. "Great, now i have to sweep before i leave" I said as i open the door, The raider with the mini-gun had other idea's as She opened fire, A Pink Dome of magic Stopped the rounds as the Gem in my barding lighted up. i dusted her as well. I closed locked and re-nailed my door. Fuck it, i'll sweep later.
As i walked I had My radio slung around my neck, It was Playing music, soft Chello and piano. He may mean well, but i hated Pon-3 and his way to, in his own words, "fight the good fight" there was no such thing as a good fight. you go in, not die, get out, black white nothing more. The radio popped and a Manes voice crackled out "Yo G What's your 6?" She said, i sighed and pushed the talk button "Just south of tennpony, why"
"We found a Stable, Looks sealed Me and Bear are here." She chimed, i sighed "What's the number on the door"
a Bear took over, the stallion said "the Number is 1...4...7"
I Mentally scanned the list of Stables in the area that had been open in the last few years. "I think it's Unopened, Ponies might be still alive in there" I said, the Mare took over. "the Panel had a bullet in it, we need you to fix it so we can talk to them" she said. I sighed and headed that way. it took me a while to find, it was in a old hut in Hallow Shades. Bear, the stallion was brown and his cutie mark was of 3 scratches, And Shell, a orange mare with blue mane, a cutie mark of Shot gun shells. She Smiled "Your here Giz, took your Celestia damn time" I rolled my eyes and walked to the door control, as they said, somepony put a Bullet in the control. I got to work.
About an hour later I got the panel running. I opened a com to the Overmare's office "This is Stable-tec...Passcode D15C10D, we wish to talk who is in charge" there was static then a Mares voice replied, she was....older sounding "Passcode Denied, Who are you? What are you doing? and what do you want?"
I sighed "I am Giz we are a group from stable-tec doing a survey of still running stables in the south manehatten area, Boss must have blocked me off again"
She sighs "well, I will send guards to open the Door" I Cut the line and stood smartly in front of the door, there was popping and the door slid out of it's fitting and rolled aside. there where 3 mares in light barding lead Me and Bear to the overmare's office. She Was a Unicorn pony who's mane was gray. She smiled at us "So, How you fixed the outer door control?" She said, I shrugged "I Fixed it"
The Terminal crackled before Shell's voice was yelling "RAIDERS ARE ATTACKING THEY HAVE AN-" it cut off and the explosion echoed up to us..."Shit" i said Pulling out my beam pistol, The overmare Pulled out a shotgun...annnd pointed it at my skull. "What are raiders," she narrowed her eyes "Do you work for them"
I sighed "raiders are a crazy cannibals who rape what they don't kill." I said Flatly. and pushed the Gun up "And Please don't shoot me, we will fix this" nodding at Bear and We set out, i stopped and turned "get everypony to the lowest level" And then set out behind Bear. An alarm went off and everypony scrabbled down stairs before the doors shut and locked. The Door to the Main door blasted out of it's frame and Galling gun filled the door way. Me and Bear got on ether side of it, that was a mistake as 2 grenades skied. I Jumped on them putting them under a shield....and they started smoking, I palled as the raiders could seem me...and they giggled as they rushed me, Bear throw a Blue pill at me, i caught it in my mouth, there was a surge of arcane power and time slowed,The Pill was a mix of Dash and a few other nasty things, I lined up my shots and time resumed. the raider hit me then dusted, all over me....but he did as he meant to do, i had released the my shield spell, the toxic gas filled the air, Bear throw me a gas mask, I slid it on breathing deeply as the air talismans worked. the gas was spreading faster then i would have liked I looked at bear "What now?"
"We get the fuck out and leave them to there fate?" He said, i glared at him "Fine, I'll take the Grenades outside" He grab them in his saddle pack and ran out side.
I headed deeper. As i did, thing where going from bad to worst. Bodies filled the stairs down, stable pony bodies. I gritted my teeth as i hit the lowest level, Raiders Had there way, I dusted every one i crossed. then I heard it, the sobs of a filly and the yells of raiders. I rounded the corner 3 raiders were outside of a Small room, Inside was a Green Unicorn Filly she was pushing herself on the far wall, I didn't waste time thinking, i Aimed and Fired, the first raiders head was cut in half as my beam laser went through her head, the laser died. i throw it in my bag. My horn Glowing with Pink magic, Pink Lightning arced around me. 13 Runes appeared in the walls, floor ,and ceiling when i spoke my voice was deeper, and in Zebra "chaos regnabit,chaos will reign". the lightning shot from me and hit the raiders, they turned to stone then vanished into dust, the runes faded leaving me feeling foggy, i shook my head i already forgetting what i had just done. I took off my gas mask and pulling out the air talisman poring my magic into it, a bubble of fresh air swirled me. i opened the door, the filly looked at me as i drew closer she tried to get away from me, "It's alright" I said "I not going to hurt you, can you tell me your name"
"s-sweet p-pea" She said, goddesses she didn't have her cutie mark yet, I hug her gently,"It's going to be alright we are going to get out of here" I said She had a look of shock, I Put her on my Back and gave the shield barding, it fit her well, it was like it was made for her....odd, not time to think about it. "Wh-why?" she asked, I smiled back at her "Because,...You remind me of somepony I knew..." And with that we charged out, passing Bear and shell's bodies, "I am so sorry" i said to them as we headed back to my house.
I set Green pea down in the living room, She had cried her self to sleep when she was everything she know was ripped away in a moment. i sat at my work bench looking at her, I sighed and began to work. about an hour later she woke up. rubbing her eyes and looking around, "where am i?" Her Pipbuck chimed "Oh, it says 'Giz's Hut'"
"Yes i am Gizmo, But most ponies call me Giz" I said Smiling at her "So Sweets, what are you going to do now?"
She Blinked at me, then Looked down,Tears starting to stream down her mussel, "i...i want to go back, I want to go home" She said, I sighed "Alright, then we go back, but you won't like what you will see" She Nodded. So I reloaded my beam pistol and we set off back to Stable 147.
They left nothing, must have taken all the bodies back to there nest. I Gave Sweet Pea A gas mask and we entered, the depths where the living quarters. Her room was Green, and had a pea theme, She sat on her bed, she sobbed softly. I sat next to her and rubbed her back, "What do you want to do now?" I asked She shrugged, "Well" I said getting up "How about we go to tennpony, get checked out then you can crash in my hut if you want...but do you mind if i take some things from here?"
She shook her head, "Alright i'll meet you by the main door, If anything gives you trouble shoot it" I said giveing her my Laser Pistol, She just nodded and left. I went through everything, and coming up with what i needed we left. We reached tennpony at sunset, after shelling out the caps to get Pea in. We went to helping hoof, and she stopped out side of the clinic,"I am not going in there, I am not sick" she said, she showed me her pipbuck to prove it, I tapped it a spark unseen by all but the most watchful arced between my hoof and the screen, the Pipbuck chimed, and Sweet pea's eyes widened "I-it s-say's i-i am a-almost d-dead" she studdered "That's why we are here" I said and pushed her inside
Dr. Helping hoof Got to work on Sweetpea at ones then came to be ones she was stable, "Didn't know you had a Kid giz." He got to work on me. I sighed "She is not mine, she was in a stable up in tell a few hours ago....and there is something else" I swallowed "I..I had another black out"
He got his Doctor Look. "for how long?"
"about 30 secs" I replied "2 dead"
He inhaled sharply "nothing you can tell me?"
I Opened my mouth to reply when sweet pea cut in "H-he was glowing, there were strange marks around him" We both looked at her, she got a paper and drew something and show it to us "they looked like this"
Doctor Helping hoof inhaled "T-that's a Zebra rune, Life bloom Might know more" He went to get his assistant Life bloom , a unicorn who could teach anypony any spell if they had the caps.when they returned he asked "tell me as much as you can" So Sweet pea told him. He nodded "Come with me" he said and left "put it on my tab doc." I said and Followed, SweetPea sitting on my back. We Went in an ally next to the cheese store. "huh, Jack's not back yet...maybe slavers got to him finely" I intoned darkly, getting a look of horror from sweet pea. Life bloom stopped and turned around with a orb with mist in it. "You are going to need to look in to this, Our destination must remain a secret"
"No, Your not putting me under a Memory orb, Luna Knows what's inside" I Replied, Sweet looked at it, before asking "What's a memory orb do?"
Sighing Life Bloom Expanded "A Memory Orb is a way to store Memories ponies get, it let's the view relive the Memory. The drawback is you stay in the memory tell it is done, and you cant move or feel your body"
Sweet Pea Looked at the orb in awe, LifeBloom Continued "and If Mr.Gizmo would be so kind to ENTER the orb, i will get you one and we can be off"
I sighed "Fine ,But if i wake up and we are being buggered, I'll shove my hoof where the Spell-light don't shine" I said and Touched the orb with my magic. and the world fell away.
My Host was a earth pony Mare....yep I am now sure She is a She. We walked up to a farm house on an apple farm. She knocked on the door. "'Ey, I finished the Field like you ask AB." She said, the door swung open inside was a Yellow Mare with a Bow in her mane. She smiled Gently at my host "Thanks Torn, I am surprised you didn't get lost this time"
The heat on my hosts face told me she was blushing hard. "Well...Yeah....I finished about an 'our ago....i kinda got lost on the way back." She said rubbing the back of her head. AB smiled "It's alright come inside and have a seat Big sis will be back from her meeting with Luna"
They went inside and in a living room. "It's still kinda sad Celestia stepped down though" torn said looking at the ground. "Yeah" AB said a few moments passed then somepony walked in, "AppleBloom are you in here? Is Torn Map here?" A voice said from the other room "YEAH big sis, living room" then the memory faded
I Sat up going for my pistol, when i didn't find it i remembered where i was, My eyes focused I was in a small room with a bathroom ,desk and bed. "Alright, i am Done." I yelled at the ceiling, the Door Wizzed open and LifeBloom came in "Now was that so bad, Now we are in privet tell me eveything"
I haling I started "Well I sometimes blackout, in the middle of combat when i come to again the fight is over, it started just after i got my cutie mark, But lately....it's been getting worst. At night I have...dreams?...visions? I don't know. But they always of a Pegasus mare Red mane, grayish, her eyes are that of the blind. She tells me...thing...about before the war."
Life Bloom nodded, "and this rune" Sliding sweetpea's drawing to me "Have you seen it before?"
I shook my head, He nodded "Well let me tell you about it, it is the zebra rune for Discord, The old god of Chaos, in the time before the war he was sealed in stone. When the Pink Cloud hit Cantorlot Some say he was freed, others say he was destroyed, even some will go as far as to say Luna freed him to do missions" He got in my face "Now, tell me. What are you?"
I blinked then said "I am an Unicorn with a short temper, and you'll need a new face if you don't get out of mine." His horn Glowed, I continued on a roll "And the last time you tried to get memories from me with Force, you were comatose for a week." He scowled and put his horn out. "Now if you excuse me, I will be taking my leave...with the child of course"
He Pulled out a memory orb "Oh, there is no need for that. I Know the way out" I Got sweet pea, who was under her orb, and we departed.
