Today was the worst day in my existence, I mean, turning yourself into another creature, talking to the department of defense, and making sure I didn't die. So, yeah, bad day, lets go to the beginning of how this came to be.
It had been about a day, or two ago when I was trying to figure out how to solve the population crisis, of course it was a bad day, I mean, talking to the president, in secret obviously, The Pentagon, and the defense section is tough. After I was done talking to them I went to my room to brainstorm ideas. After awhile I had the best idea ever! Make a portal to another dimension! I, of course had the plans to make one already, so I called the local metal gatherer and the local gem person guy, seriously what do you call those guys?! I had a gateway to make!
A few hours later the portal was done, don't ask me how, but it was done. So I hooked it up to the local power grid, hoping it wouldn't blow it up, and started it up. It gave a slight glow and a quite loud hum as it turned on, leaving me and anyone near my window in awe.
"Next thing, destination!" I said.
"Hmm somewhere with plants oxygen based atmosphere, and life!"
I yelled as I punched in code for the machine to read. Sadly the next thing I heard was a loud, and I mean LOUD explosion. I couldn't hear well though, I mean, I was rendered unconscious.
Possibly a few hours later I woke up to the most awesome thing, a portal to another Earth like world. Except the words on the screen wanted to make me curl up in a ball and cry to death. The screen said 'WARNING: DO NOT ENTER UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN REFORMATTED FOR THIS DIMENSION' which meant you had to change species to go in.
A few MORE hours later I had finally prepared another machine to change me into the species that was required. Of course I called over a few friends.
"You guys ready for this?" I said ,excitement in my voice.
"As long as we don't turn into cats with tentacle legs again, Ethan." Stated Maria. Remembering the time when we had to try to navigate a world, with tentacle legs.
"Yea that was a miserable time." Replied Travis.
"Then lets do this!" I yelled.
Next thing I knew I woke up to a blue sky with oddly shaped clouds.
'Yeaaaah, this is weird ' I thought.
The clouds were beautiful but seemingly alike. Almost as if they were duplicates.
"Sound off." I said my voice cracking a bit from the transformation.
"Here." Replied Maria.
"Here, obviously ." Replied Travis.
"Okay, so were not missing anyone?" I stated.
"Nope." Travis said.
"Whelp, instead of just sitting here why don't we get up?" Maria stated, sounding slightly annoyed.
It took us about five to six minutes to get up, when we did get up we saw what we looked like, ponies, yeah, we looked like ponies of all the animals out there, well actually I was the only person to notice we were ponies not horses . Basic anatomy stuff. Oddly enough I noticed Maria was a unicorn, and Travis was a pegasus. But he also pointed out I was one too. A cyan coated orange maned pony. The last thing I remember doing before passing out was this.
"What the heck?" I stated for the last time in a while.
I woke up to the sound of someone talking, not one of my friends, so I decided to try to find out who they were. The cool morning breeze, lapped at my new fur. This was one of the most peaceful times. The formidable tree's leaves shaking in the wind, making that peaceful sound you may only hear a few times in your life. It made me not want to ever wake, but I had to to make sure this person was not a threat.
"Whrr rr yauu annd why rr u disterbing usss." I said, sounding as if I were drunk. This was a good sign, meaning that the motor controls finally caught up and they had fixed themselves.
"Oh, hi, my name is Pinkie Pie and I was just wondering, what are you doing lying down in a forest?" Said Pinkie Pie
"If I told you, you would pass out." I stated finally getting my mouth to make words.
Matter of fact, we were in a forest of sorts, the trees though were tall and formidable. But there was one thing.
"What are you doing in a forest, Pinkie Pie ?" I asked.
"Well I wanted to get some flowers for a party coming up." She answered.
"Ohh, who's hosting?" Travis asked eagerly.
"Me, silly! Why would I be in a forest if I wasn't hosting." Said Pinkie Pie
"Oh" Said Maria.
"Do you mind if we follow you?" I asked.
"Sure as long as you help pick flowers!" Said Pinkie Pie.
After awhile of picking flowers that Pinkie Pie said we had to pick up, I heard an odd sound and smell. The smell was so nauseating that we had to step away from it. Unbeknownst to me at the time this was the horrible odor of a wood wolf, I mean literally, a wolf made of wood .
"Hey Pinkie? What's that smell?" Said Travis, asking the pink pony.
"Um, the s-s-smell of a timber wolf." Pinkie said staring in no particular direction, eyes the size of pin-pricks.
"What?" Travis asked.
All the pink pony did was point, of course, we looked at where she was pointing to see a massive wolf, made out of wood! Of course you can kinda guess what happened from then on, running, lots of running.
"Why the hell did I decide to do this!" I screamed, running as fast as I could.
Of course that meant a lot of stumbling. We got lucky and the wolf tripped on a log, yeah how ironic, and broke apart. Once we got all the way back to an area where we could rest, I stopped, breathed, and relaxed.
"Lets never do that again." I wheezed.
Of course, I forgot to describe my friends to the pinpoint, Travis was a black coated and red maned pegasus. Maria was a green coated and crimson colored unicorn.. Not the weirdest thing, but not the most common.
"So Pinkie Pie, what do you plan on doing next?" I asked.
"Hm, ah! Are you available tomorrow?" She asked.
"Uhh, yeah we don't have anything to do here yet." Maria stated.
"Good! I will introduce you to my friends tomorrow at ten o'clock." Pinkie Pie stated, almost overwhelmed with excitement.
"Why tomorrow?" Travis asked.
So this is all I went through till now. This is probably the worst I'll face. I mean what else could go wrong?

"Master, we are sorry for our failure, will you forgive us?" Said a very scared timber wolf.
"We will, on one condition, that you not fail the next time. Consider yourselves to be lucky that I didn't punish you for your failure. Now go !" Said a feminine voice.
Somewhere in Ponyville
It had been a glorious day. Thanks to Pinkie we had all the information about town! This was very helpful indeed, but I still need find out where their leaders are.
"Is this thing working? " Asked Maria through telepathy.
I should explain how I heard her using telepathy. The machines we were using was our watches, but I had built in a Quantum Telepathic Receiver/Sender node (Copyrights pending.) to allow instantaneous communication, even at a far distance.
"Yes, yes. " I quickly replied.
"Hey what's the time? " Asked Travis.
"From what my watch says, eight PM. " I stated.
"Leaving us about two hours till Pinkie's party. " I said as fast as possible, so no one could ask.
The next hour and a half was alright, walking around town looking at the sights. There was this one that would never leave my mind, a beautiful but physically impossible thing, a castle hanging from a mountain, it looked perfect at the moment since the sun was going down, casting a perfect ray of sun into the nearby terrain.
But it was at that time my watch beeped, stating thirty minutes till' the party began.
Sugarcube Corner
"So who are going to meet, because you said yourself, this party was for us." Twilight said, a confused look on her face.
"Ethan, Travis, and Maria, I overheard them talking and I found out their names." Answered Pinkie Pie.
"And you're sure they're not gonna be mean?" Asked Rainbow Dash, not wanting them to be like Gilda.
"Yepperoni! They were really thankful when I helped them out!" Answered Pinkie, not knowing why her friends would doubt her.
"U-um it's okay with me, a-as long it's okay with you, though." Said Fluttershy, not wanting to upset her friends.
As we started walking to 'Shugarcube Corner' as Pinkie said its name was, I noticed that the towns people were nicer than people from home, allot of them waved and greeted us with kindness. 'Hopefully when people start moving here they don't ruin this, I like it.' I thought. His watch beeped again, reminding him that he was almost late.
It was time for the party to begin, luckily we walked in five minutes early. The introduction wasn't too hard.
"Hello, I'm Ethan." I said enthusiastically.
"I know, you're Maria, and you are Travis." The lavender mare said pointing to my friends.
"H-h-how'd you know that?" Travis asked unnerved from what she had said.
"Pinkie said she heard you say your names, also, my name is Twilight Sparkle, nice to meet you!" Twilight said.
"Where are you from? Your names are very . . exotic ." She asked.
"Um, I don't really want to talk about that." I said, using my basic undercover training to add more reality to my words.
"Oh, also, why weren't you flying? Usually Pegasi fly to get to a destination." Twilight asked.
"Well, lets just say we never were able to be taught." I covered.
At that moment Twilight levitated a pen and pencil over, further more she showed no signs of a quantum manipulator transplant.
"How are you doing that?" I asked, completely at a lack of words.
"This is simple levitation, all unicorns can do it, unless their horn isn't working." Twilight answered.
"Shouldn't you know what magic is, I mean you do travel with a unicorn." She added.
"Well she wasn't able to learn either." Travis said, quickly joining in on making a cover story.
"You must have been raised by earth ponies." Twilight said to no one in particular.
"Yes we were, and lets not talk about this, okay?" Said a very annoyed Maria, not wanting to talk about a fake past.
It was a few hours and the music started grating on our moods, I mean it was the suckiest music ever.
"I have the perfect idea to fix this horrible music." I said as I pulled out a metal cube with a button on top.
As I pressed the button I threw it onto the ground and watched it expand until it became a music box. I pressed in a few codes and it started playing.
Music made everyone energetic, as it seemed like to long since there was last dubstep. Of course this was the last song, sadly.
"How'd you do that?" Twilight asked, eager to find out how he made it.
"Just a bit of magic and technology combined. On one of my travels I found a skilled unicorn so I decided to pay him that way we would never be bored." I said.
As the guests started leaving I felt compelled to say something.
"Where are we going to stay?" I asked to no one in particular.
"You can stay here if you want." Pinkie Pie said.
"That's too nice. But I must accept, it's better staying here than outside." Maria said.
That night I was stuck thinking, what would they think about us when we had to finally tell the truth?
That night there was a gap, a gap in reality, created by evil. This evil was long left by the princesses, thinking it was an item of worthlessness, of course, they underestimated the importance of double-checking.
"Soon I will rise, and have my revenge, hopefully that idiot I burdened with my release will do her job just fine." Said a very intimidating, masculine voice.
"I will rise !" It repeated.

It was a few thousand years ago, there were two species one based on technology, the other, magic. Throughout the years they lived in harmony. Until evil finally started its corruption process. Slowly the one known as 'The Deceiver ' finally got to them using a combination of dark magic and useful technology, using the technology to spread the deceiving magic.. The two species went and made a new planet, a safe haven. They established a colony there, the crystal empire, whose leader was either elected or genetically created.
The technology enhanced species was called a simple name, The White Dragons. White being a pure color and they, only wanting peace.
The other called --.
As Ethan slowly woke he was wondering, what was this dream, what did it mean? It truly cannot be real, as if it were, they would have met these so called 'White Dragons' before.
"Maybe it is true that I have read one too many sci-fi novels." He thought as he drifted towards sleep.

Luna

That dream, it was to close to describing something that had happened ever before Discords rule. She needed to talk to her sister, for it this was on of Them she needed to find him. The only problem was that he couldn't, if he was one of Them , remember who or what he is.
As luna was walking to her sisters chambers, she wondered what he would be like even if he wasn't one of the former allies?
After a few moments of navigation Luna found herself in front of the doors to her sisters chambers. As she entered she was careful to shut the door silently as she walked to her sister.
"Dear sister, it is time to wake, for one of them could be here." Luna said, not being to harsh.
"Which one of them 's, there are too many to count, sister." Celestia stated, her voice a bit off.
"Our former allies, sister. I am not sure, but this one individual had a dream of the old Crystal Empire, the one we founded thousands of years ago. The only way he could know this, is if he were one. Yet he doesn't even know that he is one." Luna said, not even taking one breath during her sentence.
"They did say the could make themselves disguises to fit in so, they must have been replaced with fake ones, just to make him feel that it was real, so that he could not be a danger to himself." Celestia concluded.
"He is currently in the Cake's residence, from what I know." Luna said.
"I will send a note, asking them to meet me in at least a month's time." Celestia said.

When Luna had left she started writing.
"My most faithful student,
In about a months time I will need to see you, and your friends, including the three new ones. It was from Luna I heard that there were three new ponies from another nation and I wish to see them to make sure they are acquainted with our laws.
Thanks. Celestia"
"Oh, I hope this turns out well." Celestia though as she sent the letter and started to go back to the warm embrace of sleep.

It was late at night, when Twilight woke to a normal sound, that is, if you live with a dragon that burps up letters that were sent to you.
"Ungh, Twilight it's from Celestia." Spike grumbled, not being the morning or night person.
As Twilight read the letter she almost, almost instantly woke up.
It was then that Twilight went into worried mode, as this meant that her three newest friends were new to the country, and she wanted it to go the best for them.
"Spike, make a checklist of things we would need to prepare to go to Canterlot." Twilight commanded.
"I plan to be there in one week." She finished.
She didn't know that spike had read the letter. But it was okay with him, he would be able to possibly see Twilight's parents, and Princess Celestia again.
"Yes, ma'am!" Spike said enthusiastically.

It had been a long week, preparing, checking, double checking, triple checking, making sure her friends, even the new ones, were prepared for their trip to the capital city of Canterlot. It made me almost roll my eyes at how flabbergasted Ethan was when he heard he was invited to the capital of Equestria.
"So, wait we were invited by the rulers of the nation?" Ethan had asked.
Here I am now, on a train watching my new friends marvel over the city's unique design.
"So, I take it you like the city's architecture?" I asked.
"Yes, I love it! But, one question, how is more than half of it floating?" Asked Ethan.
"Its a combination of magic and the way its designed. I won't bore you with the details." I answered, knowing the last time I explained anything to my friends.
I just hope that everything goes alright.

Today so far has been a wondrous day, learning their culture. It was exhilarating! Though I did find it odd that the rulers invited me and my new friends, they said that they need to give us a run-down of their laws. But how had they even known we were even here?
"Well they are leaders, leaders always know whats going on their kingdoms." I thought.
The city itself was a whole nother story. It practically floats, and it sets of this glow as if the only thing there was beauty. It is rather odd that is hanging of the sde of a mountain, but from what Twilight has told me, its complicated. But its almost night, so I will go to bed, getting rested for my confrontation with the rulers of the nation.

Tomorrow would be the day that me and my sister would find out if this being was truly one of our old allies. But we still had to prepare, this could be the most momentous day if it turned out that he was one of our allies, because it would mean their species is not dead, and even if their's one of them left, their species as a whole will prevail.

The other called Alicorns.
They were rightful, benevolent leaders of their kingdoms, no one ever knew or knows why they chose the name for their species. They were all just and kind, never wanting war.
This is when a treaty was made, a treaty that the White Dragons and the Alicorns would share their intelligence to stop all war, but then came The Corruption, one pony who was bent on the destruction of all peace, using dark magic and technology to spread corruption, he took over many's minds, using everyday civilians to ruin the treaty by starting wars, when the leaders of both races finally found out, it was to late to save the corrupted ones. So both the Alicorns and White Dragons, noticing their failure, they committed a mass murdering, a practical genocide of the corrupted ones, leaving their leader trapped imobile for all eternity, with their populations dwindling, they left for refuge, leaving what was once a strong civilization, in ruins.
As I awoke I noticed I had the exact same type of dream I had before.
"This can't be a coincidence." I thought as I drifted towards sleep wondering what was wrong with me.

It had happened, again , this was no coincidence, this was Ethans memories unravling before her eyes. She remembered all of what the dream had said, every single bit . The genocide was a truth, I and Celestia both had to kill almost all of our citizens, the days of The Corruption were long lived in my memories.
But that is the past, and this is now, it is best to not dwell in the past, as Celestia said. But one thing lasted, the leader of the corrupted ones, a alicorn, that was corrupted by an unknown source, no one knows how, but, he caused mass panic.
I hope that he is still gone.

I am awake now, a spilling headache almost making me pass out, of course my pain was not silent, and soon my room mate, Fluttershy, was awake and comforting me, helping with the pain by rubbing my temples.
"Whats wrong?" Fluttershy asked.
"Head . . ache." I answered between hard breaths.
Even a hot pad didn't help, the last thing I saw was a face, a pony with wings and a horn, deep blue colored, but I must have fallen asleep, because the next thing I knew everything went black.
Memories, memories, memories, all flooding my conscience, ancient memories, and recent ones. All adding up to a roar of noise, a wall of loud ,head splitting, noise.
The last thing I thought was, "Is this the end?"

The next time I awoke I was in a building, or atleast I thought I was awake.
"You are not awake." Someone revealed.
Whelp, there goes being awake.
"Who are you?" I questioned.
"I am you, a past you." He said.
"You don't know it yet, but you have powers of unimaginable desire," He stated. "The last time I remember was the last moments of The Corruption, I decided to be a candidate for a human study program, it took me over a few thousand years to become you." He continued.
"I am now your guide to guide you through the universes and their mysteries." He finished.
"Forty-two." I answered.
"Ha, ha. Very funny. I am not joking though, the universe is a vast place. I am sure you know this. Even though you know a lot, you don't know everything." He said.
"As you've seen through your memories, or from what you've seen from the parts of your memories that have resurfaced." He stated.
"First thing, you used to be a leader. A leader of the species that your dream talked about." He finished.
"Explain? You seem to not be good at explaining." I asked.
"You are part of the White Dragons. A significant part I might add." He answered.
"Your powers, they were used for making and destroying whole universes. Mainly for creating them, though. We create because that is the center of us, creation. We desire to create, not destroy. We have created many species. We have created many galaxies as well. By we I mean us, you and I." He stated sagely.
"Time to wake up, Ethan."
As I awoke, I noticed I was in a bed. Not just any bed, the most comfortable bed I've felt. I decided to go out the door in front of me, leading into a hallway. There was no one in said hallway, leading me to think that they let me be.
"That was odd, even for Ethan." I heard Maria say.
"Yes, something must have happened to cause that." Travis said.
I walked to the voices of my friends.
"I can't say I even know what happened." I said groggily as I walked in.
"Wait, your awake?" Travis asked, seemingly stunned.
"Uh, yes? Why wouldn't I be?" I asked.
"Because you've been out for four days straight." Stated Maria.
"Your still talking about me passing out, four days after?" I asked, curious as to why thy were talking about it days after it happened.
"Because, your friends were worried." A voice said.
As I looked over I notice the owner of the voice was taller than me, she had a horn and wings. Even though I was dumbfounded, my face was expressionless.
"Just wondering, who are you?" I asked.
"I am Princess Luna, co-ruler of this nation, Equestria." Said Luna, also showing no emotions whatsoever.
"Can we take a moment to talk in private?" She asked.
"Sure, why not." I replied.
As I entered a room, I noticed a bed with a crescent moon at the end, like the mark on Luna. The room was beautiful, fit for a king . . . or a queen . . . or princess.
"I have called you here to talk about the dreams you've been having." She said.

"What," I said, summing up my thoughts exactly.
"Your dreams, have I not been clear?" Luna said as if it were plain as day.
"Uh, I thought my dreams were my dreams only." I inquired.
"No, I look over dreams here," Luna said a bit awkwardly.
"One moment, I will put a spell on us so we go to the dream realm." She said before I could speak.
"Ah, here we are." She said.
'Here' was nothing, literally. Just us in a void of expansive black. In an instant, it changed to a familiar setting, my mansion. Yes, I own a mansion. Not a very big one, it's just right for me. I hadn't really wanted to get one, but my co-workers insisted that I not "Live in a cheap apartment." as they put it.
"Why were we called the 'White Dragons'? It sounds kinda lazy." I queried.
"Heh, because it's the simplest translation of the real name. So technically you are correct." Luna stated, laughing at her own joke.
"So where are these 'powers' that are so powerful?" I asked.
"They are in you, your mind, and even present in your being." She answered.
At that moment, I remembered a bit more. At that moment a small piece of rock formed in front of me. This was awesome! With what I could remember, I could revolutionize all industry. But at that moment, I also noticed what this could also do. As I noticed this, the rock from before instantly vanished. I also had the capability to destroy too. I could tear down anything and everything with a mere absent thought. This power was not meant for the feeble-minded, because if by any chance they couldn't control themselves, a whole planet could be destroyed. I had just tasted true power, and I feared it. Anyone in their right mind would fear it. Because true power is the balance of life and death. True power was the bridge between mortality and im mortality. True power, is existence.
"Welcome to reality, Ethan," Luna stated.
I awoke to the sounds of birds chirping. My mind, still numb from the revelation of what my powers could do.
"Ethan are you alright?" Travis asked.
"Yes, yes I am." I lied.
"Could you please get me Celestia?" I asked as politely as possible.
In what I could only assume was her bedroom, I talked to Celestia.
"So you are a White Dragon, how . . . interesting ." She said.
"I don't remember much, but I do know of my powers. I fear them, I fear them gratlely." I said.
"Don't worry, you aren't the only one who's mind was left blank after discovering your powers. In fact you took it quite well compared to the others." Luna stated factualy.
"Yes, some would rather attempt scuicide than to fully comprehend those powers. Emphasis on attempt." Celestia added.
"Will you help us, by keeping this a secret only between us, your friends and Twilight and her friends?" Celestia asked.
"Why not let it just be you two and me, the secret will be more easily kept that way." I queried.
"I am sure that it is better for them to know, firstly becuase your friends will still trust you, and also that Twilight and her friends have a magical power that might help protect you." Luna said.
This, was the time for truth. All around me were people and ponies that I could trust. But, should I tell them?
