Chapter 2
The Invitation to the Show.
Disclaimer: I own nothing but the kind of twisted ideas. But hopefully that's clear by now, also sorry this chapter is short. The first one wasn't long enough to be posted alone.
Twilight Sparkle was waking up after the long night before drinking all the extra cider Applejack had made in the contest with the Flim Flam Brothers. Everyone in town had thrown a party with plenty of cider and cakes, all made in a flash by Pinkie, and were most likely to not feel well for a week. She got up and trotted downstairs and laughed a little seeing Spike lying on his stomach on the floor, she had walked into the kitchen and started to make them both something to eat when she heard a crash outside her window.
She raced to the window and saw the mailmare had crashed into one of the higher branches of the library, she watched as the grey Pegasus slid down the trunk outside her kitchen window and popped up again with her wall eyes looking at her.
"Hi Derpy, are you alright? You hit the tree pretty hard." Twilight asked half concerned for her friend, even if she didn't know her that well she knew that Rainbow Dash was friends with her and was nice to one another.
"Uh..." Derpy blinked and reached into her bag pulling out a bulging letter, and gave it to Twilight, "Yep! It was first class from Manehatten!" Twilight lifted the letter with magic and smiled.
"Thanks Derpy," She smiled and lifted a muffin out of a basket nearby, "Here, for the road." Derpy swiped it smiling.
"Thanks Twi! I'll see you around!" She flapped her wings and raced off eating the muffin, Twilight watched as the pony was swerving all through the skies to deliver mail to more ponies. Hopefully they wouldn't have her crash into their houses again.
Spike groaned in the living room making Twilight roll her eyes opening the letter and lifted the letter out, it was a small flier with a pony's silhouette on stage shooting sparks from their horn. It had bold letters on the top saying 'Come to the Greatest Shown in Manehatten!' she had heard about the show and kept reading, apparently whoever was the great pony who did the magic knew her and sent her Six tickets to go see the show.
"Spike! I'll be back in a bit; I have to go talk to the girls." She smiled forgetting her breakfast and ran outside, not knowing that the tickets were sent by her old enemy Trixie and that she had evil plans to get revenge on her and the other elements of harmony.
.....................
In Manehatten Trixie smiled looking at her dressing room, it was fit for the one of princesses. She looked out a window while brushing her mane having taken off her usual hat; she turned back to the mirror smiling until Mumbo's face appeared in it making her jump.
"Don't scare me like that!" She yelled glaring as Mumbo rolled his ghostly eyes, "What are you trying to do? Kill me?"
"Oh no Trixie, I'd never try and kill you." He said faking sweetness, "Did you send the invitation yet?" He appeared in his ghostly form on the counter.
"Yes, it should be there. Then we can follow up on our plans, I have the Transformation circle already set up for them." Trixie said clapping her hooves. "Then we'll both get our revenge on Twilight and her friends."
"Yes, and it should take them a day to get here. So we have plenty of time, the show is set up, the magical circle is ready, and we have tested it on one of the fans no one would miss." Mumbo said looking at a cage with a rabbit in it on the other side of the room who was trying to get out of the cage.
"Yes...And I get the added pleasure of making them apart of my finest show, and their final finally." Trixie said laughing evilly, Mumbo smiled disappearing again. The rabbit's eyes widened, it had a small mark on its back leg in the shape of gold star with a silver one turned to make a compass rose as it kept trying to bust out of its small prison.
