"Based on the 'Running Test', a few candidates have been chosen. The rest will follow," said Dency. "But... what are Runners?" asked Bell. Sunset knew about the Runners. She'd been reading The Maze Runner before she ended up here. "Well, Runners are-" Blaze cut her line, giving Sunset a moment to catch up.

"Runners are a group of boys and girls that are chosen to run. They were chosen based on their speed and power. They were the the strongest, smartest and fastest among us. They were... well, know about the Maze well. They know about pattern changes every night. Runners usually bring along their weapon of choices. Example, if Minho was a Runner, I think he will choose a spear or a knife," explained Sunset. The three Maze Runners nodded.

"But we need a leader. And who knows what's out there!" shouted Gally. "There will be more Grievers, Gally. They were worst than what we thought. They're Grievers, Boojus, various of Monsters and many more. At the end of the Trial, we'll have to fight Grim and Mandy," said Kim. "More Grievers?!" said Minho. "We've been killing them since we escaped WICKED's Maze! I don't want to face that thing again!"

"Kim will be our leader," said Malice. "The Runners are; Minho, Gally, Bryn, Blaze, Beatrix, Grim Jr, Danny, Jenny, Blossom,Bell, and Dexter and Sunset also Flash," declared Dency. A glance of excitement, fear, honored, courage and derp being scanned through the Gladers' crowd.

"Now, get some sleep. Tomorrow is a big day. Remember, tomorrow, is a big day."
