Outskirts of Planet Insectica
Earthworm Jim, Earth's mightiest invertebrate, found himself running for dear life inside of an Insectican spaceship, while carrying a female figure on his shoulder; an Endorian queen, whose skin, unlike the rest of Endorians, was pastel green, her head instead of hair, held several membranic formations similar to Jim´s, forming this way, the silhouette of a short hair. She sported a long sky blue dress adorned with a gold streak at the neck.
After having defeated the Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt´s special unit inside the bridge; Jim, totally accidentally pressed the ship´s auto-destruction button. Why did the ship have an auto-destruction button? Don´t ask me!
Not wasting any moment, Jim took the unconscious queen and started his way towards the hangar.
The fight inside the ship had certainly stopped, as every Insectican soldier opted to escape the soon to be a grave ship and so caught they were in surviving, that no one noticed the giant worm in a suit running through the hallways.
Upon his way, Jim was wondering the whole brilliant idea behind the ship´s infamous button functionality. ´What´s the whole brilliant idea behind the ship´s infamous button functionality?´ He thought.
Focusing once more in the long hallways, Jim could feel the heat intensity all over his skin. Small explosions were starting to cover the great rooms of the Insectican ship, signaling the ship´s imminent fate, thankfully for him, the hangar was close.
Initially, reports came in about an Insectican spaceship invading one of planet Endos´ political cruisers, kidnapping several politics in the process to secure a merging or subsequent conquer of the planet.
Endorians were a formidable species, their kind being naturally athletic and their sky blue skin being rough to penetrate, yet Insecticans, although not as strong, their force in numbers and technological advancements, coupled with the Queen´s strong usage of magic, where enough to overwhelm the inhabitants.
Jim grew concerned about the Queen´s harsh yet weird actions and took the decision of investigating the problem. Once he made his way to the ship´s bridge, he noticed how valid the briefing was. Indeed, there was a female Endorian captured and as it turned out, it was the queen.
Slugg-for-a-butt´s soldiers thought they had Jim where they wanted and wasted no second to close the gates behind him. Too late did Jim know the nature of this action. The worm was locked inside the room, where not long after a sleeping gas was released in hopes of making him sleep.
Professor Monkey-for-a-Head had decided that the best way to duplicate the suit, was to steal the battery of the gods from the suit itself, rather than risk themselves asking the gods to give them another one.
Of course, the plan didn´t work, the sleeping gas did not affect Jim, who, as it turned out, didn´t have nostrils to inhale it... And that´s when the struggle began.
By now, Jim was more than sure he was approaching the hangar, if not then... well... he didn´t exactly have a plan, it´s not like he was some kind of super powered unicorn with magic to no end so he could teleport to the exit, although he did wish he could use at least some degree of magic, regardless of that, he loved the power the suit provided. Snapping out of this thoughts, Jim suddenly noticed the absence of Queen Slugg-for-a-Butt and even though it was weird, he was glad she wasn´t aboard. She normally meant bad business and a lot of time wasted, something he did not need right now.
“Wait a minute!” Suddenly Jim, stopped in his tracks, placing his hand under his chin, in this moment, the Endorian queen began to wake up, Jim didn´t notice. “Is this one of those moments where I say it is good a certain villain isn´t around and suddenly PUFF! He appears just in front of me? Because if it is, well then this sucks.”
Uh?
“Uh?” The sweet tone of the queen assaulted the worm, who placed her on his arms and gave her a huge smile. “Hey there queen Bonikka!”
“Jim?!” She asked surprised, not exactly realizing the situations she was in until the queen looked around, suddenly releasing a loud “Ah!”
Jim released a loud friendly laugh. “Don´t worry queen, we are just inside a huge Insectican ship which is about to explode any second now!” Bonikka stared at him blankly. “Groovy, right?”
In that moment, a small explosion erupted close to the pair, causing Bonikka to release another scream before she hugged Jim in search for refugee, then asked. “What exactly is happening?”
Jim gave away a sheepish smile. “I... May have pressed the destruction button, heh!”
Bonikka sighed. “Just get us out of here.”
The worm nodded before resuming his run. Soon enough, the hangar was upon reach. “We are almost there queen Bonikka, don´t worry.”
Bonikka nodded. “Thank you, Jim.”
Jim loved this kind of moments, he did not fight for fortune or power, he simply loved doing well, saving those in need and for Jim, there wasn´t any bigger reward than to hear those three words. This thoughts aside, the worm focused on the hangar ahead.
The explosion´s roared around them with fury, consuming everything in their path, Insectican soldiers ran for their lives towards their ships, it was a total chaos.
Bonikka turned to look at Jim, wondering how he could remain calm in moments like this, he had a natural talent to be optimistic even in the worst moments. It surprised her, to say the least.
Bonikka and Jim had met a few years back, when he helped regain peace amongst a political struggle. In those weeks, Jim proved to be a great ally and friend, even though his companions Princess what´s-her-name, Peter Puppy and Snott were gentle in heart, it was Jim who seemed the purer of the four.
“Queen, we´re here!” The sudden voice of the worm, stopped Bonikka´s train of thought.
Jim, gently placed Bonikka on the ground, where she waited for him to take out his transport, the Pocket Rocket. Setting it on the ground Jim was prepared to leave when...
“Going anywhere, little worm?”
“Oh come on!” Screamed Jim. “I knew it was one of those moments!”
The voice that spoke, resounded across the entirety of the hangar and even if it wasn´t Slugg-for-a-butt´s voice, it certainly wasn´t a relief either. Jim and Bonikka turned around to spot a figure between the flames, a small, cat-like figure that made its way out of the fire.
In an instant, Jim turned to look at the Endorian. “Queen Bonikka, I need you to get on the Pocket Rocket and go.” He knew what was coming, he knew who the figure was and he knew what to do.
Unlike Princess What´s- Her-Name, Bonikka wasn´t sure about this kind of decisions regarding Jim, a fact she made the worm aware of. “I can´t simply leave you here!”
The worm smiled. “Don´t worry about me, your majesty, I have the power of the Author backing me up!”
Bonikka was left speechless. After a few seconds of trying to know the meaning behind Jim´s words and eventually giving up, she simply nodded and proceeded to get on the vehicle. “I will go get help, Jim, I promise!”
“Wait!” Jim suddenly said, stopping the queen in her tracks. “Before you go, I need to tell you something...” Bonikka´s cheeks turned red as soon as she heard the words and eagerly waited for what Jim was about to say.
“... Don´t introduce taxes into your politic system! Those things are evil!”
Upon hearing him, Bonikka grunted in annoyance and rolled her eyes. “You can´t be serio...”
The words died in her tongue, as an orange beam blasted Jim, sending him to the ground and away from the queen, who immediately took notice of the approaching creature.
A small, white cat was getting closer; his smile was hidden behind three long teeth that went out of the mouth, almost covering his jaw. This was Evil the Cat, ruler of planet Heck and one of Jim´s most formidable foes.
“Uh! Taxes! That sounds rather delightful!” Evil purred. “Going early, your majesty?” An almost metallic sound was heard, as the cat let out his claws, giving out a small chuckle.
Bonikka gave a few steps backwards, fearing an attack would come, thankfully for her, a white blur tackled the cat.
Jim now had Evil in his hands, as he rolled in the ground alongside the feline, then used his feet to stop the advancement and threw Evil towards a wall; the worm wasted no time and raised his blaster, then fired against the cat. In a second, Jim turned to stare at the queen. “Hurry, queen Bonikka!”
The worried queen did her best to react and nodded to the worm´s demands, turning around to sit on the Pocket Rocket. She saw the controls for a few seconds, trying to remember how to use it. She´d never been a very good pilot, but Bonikka had to admit that driving Jim´s vehicle was certainly easier.
Finally, she pulled the plug, while listening to the struggle behind her. Slowly, the Pocket Rocket began to lift from the floor and just as she was about to leave, gave one last look behind her, then the motor sped up, a fast orange light following the rocket-like vehicle as it went out of the place.
The queen was now safe.
“And what are you doing here, Evil?” Asked Jim, as he got on one knee to avoid a blast, then lifted his hand to fire at the cat, who gave a chuckle in response while deflecting the attack with a shield.
“I simply overheard part of the queen´s pathetic plan for you and took the opportunity to finally get you in a situation where you can´t escape and...”
As he was about to finish the sentence, Jim launched himself to punch the cat, who dissipated in a black smoke and reappeared behind him. “... Steal my suit?” Asked Jim, getting an amused look from Evil.
“Steal your suit?” A barrage of laughter came out of the feline, as his body transformed into a dark smoke that rammed against Jim, sending him to the air, where the smoke changed its appearance into that of a cat and grabbed the worm with one of his paws. “Oh gracious tiny worm!” The cat´s face got closer to the upside down Jim, who looked at him with a frown on his face. “I do not care about your suit...” In a second, the shadow cat´s body turned into smoke again and brought itself on top of the worm, crushing him against the floor as the smoke dissipated under Jim.
The worm used his hands to get up, as Evil suddenly materialized once more in front of him. The cat took out his claws. “...I only care about seeing you dead!”
Outside the still exploding ship, Bonikka used the Pocket Rocket´s radio to get in contact with her forces. She was worried about the worm´s well being and she knew contacting Princess What´s-her-name or any of his allies would turn out to be useless. Jim did not have too much time.
After a few tweaking, she finally managed to get contact. “This is queen Bonikka!”
“Your majesty? This is admiral Dalus, we sent every ship available to get you out, but I guess the worm beat us to it.” The Endorian ended the sentence with a chuckle, one that the queen did not share.
“Admiral, do not cancel the rescue, Jim is still inside the ship.” Answered the worried Bonikka.
“What? That ship is about to blow!” Definitely not the words she wanted to hear.
“I know, Admiral! How long before you arrive?”
Behind the radio, the Endorian sighed. “We are about to arrive just...”
BOOM!
Like the thunder in the middle of the night, the ship before the queen´s eyes reached its fate.
“No...” Time slowed down as she witnessed the fall of his savior, a pain endured on her chest trying to accept the sight she just witnessed, no words could describe her predicament.
“Your majesty? What happened?” The admiral asked, getting no response from the queen. “Bonikka!”
“This can´t be it...” Finally, she replied. Jim had seen too much across his hero years for a simple ship explosion to be his end. Sure, they were taken by surprise, but in Bonikka´s mind, she simply refused to believe what just happened.
The radio remained silent for a few seconds before Dalus spoke again, breaking the queen out of her hopeful thoughts. “Your majesty, I´m sorry. Stay put, we are almost there.”
However, Bonikka wasn´t planing on leaving it like that. “No, he has to be there, I need to check!”
“What?” Answered the admiral. “Wait, there is no way anybody could have survived anything like that!”
“He isn´t ´anybody´!” With that said and ignoring the words of Dalus, Bonikka made her way towards the wreckage.
She couldn´t believe it, one of the few beings she knew that she could actually trust, that had risked his life to save her and the universe countless times was now gone by the hand of the most feared being in the galaxy.
It was stupid for her to feel a certain degree of hope that Jim was still alive, he had shown his ability to escape certain doom countless times before and perhaps...
Giving a sigh of defeat, Bonikka clenched her fist, there was no indication between the ship´s remaining of any survival. The queen turned the Rocket Pocket around and got ready to approach the incoming Endorian fleet, until she took notice of something.
A lone ship was sailing across the empty space, weird thing was that it looked like it had no passenger. Every other insectican had already left the exploding ship by the time Evil the Cat made his entrance, there was no way any of queen Slugg-for-a-Butt´s soldiers could have remained inside just to escape at the last minute.
The Insectican ship´s auto destruction system was generous enough to give its inhabitants plenty of time to make it out... Maybe there was still hope.
In a moment, Bonikka approached the ship and took a look at the cabin...
...Jim was not inside, but there was something that caught her eye. Sitting over the co-o pilot chair was Jim´s well known blaster, a black mist surrounding the seat.
It was a fact, the worm had escaped, although what happened to him, she did not know. Maybe... maybe Evil had something to do with it. He couldn´t have disintegrated Jim, the battery of the god´s power acted like a magic shield that protected the worm against any kind of spell that could harm him. Certainly a fate like that couldn´t be the answer to the image in front of her, but if he wasn´t evaporated by the cat, then what happened to him?
Her thoughts where soon cut short by an incoming transmission. “Mistress? What happened? Are you alr...”
“Admiral, get me in contact with Peter as soon as possible!” Bonikka replied.
There was second of silence before Dalus answered. “Yes ma´am.”
It almost went completely unnoticed by her, but a small smile had begun to form on her face, as the look of hope appeared on her eyes. “He may still be alive.”
Her hopeful thoughts were soon cut short by the incoming voice of Dalus. “Mistress? Got contact with Peter, linking him to your transmission now.”
Bonikka nodded. “Understood, thank you admiral.” As soon as she finished her words, the transmission began to shift, making the queen react almost instantly. “Peter? Peter!”
“Queen Bonikka?” Answered Peter. “What happened? Is Jim with you?”
“No. Peter, I need you to listen to me!” Silence endured on the other side of the radio. “Jim has disappeared!”
More seconds of silence, until... “Is this one of Jim´s peekaboo games again? Seriously, I can´t see him, I´m at the other end of this radio.”
“What?” It was all Bonikka could answer, before shaking her head. “No, I mean, I was captured by Queen Slug-for-a-Butt and then taken hostage aboard one of her ships.” The queen explained. “Jim came to rescue me and he... Well.. Totally in accident started the ship´s auto destruction system.” Silence prevailed for another few seconds before Peter finally spoke.
“... Really?” The queen couldn´t see Peter, but she was more than sure the kind of face he had upon hearing about his friend´s little fail.
“Yep...” Bonikka answered. “But that is not all, Evil appeared and attacked Jim, he told me to leave, but when I was about to get help, the ship exploded!”
Unknown to Bonikka, tears began forming around Peter´s eyes and it wasn´t too long before the queen was assaulted with an over exaggerated cry from him. Bonikka reacted almost instantly.
“Peter, calm down! Jim is okay!” Sadly, he interrupted.
“No! I don´t want him in my heart, I want him alive!”
Bonikka rolled her eyes at this. “No, he IS alive!” Finally, an almost quiet ´uh?´ was heard from the communicator. “Yes, he is alive, I think Evil transported him somewhere else, but the thing is I don´t know where, that´s why I´m calling you.” Bonikka remained silent for a few seconds. “If we are going to rescue Jim, we need to do it together! And who knows more about him and what he has gone through, than you?”
From the other end of the radio, Peter, who was now calmed, nodded. “I´m calling the princess!”
“Wait!” Interrupted Bonikka. “Could we just... Forget her for now?”
Now, Peter was confused. “Why? She can help us avoid getting our behinds kicked.”
Bonikka grunted. Indeed, she wasn´t very fond of the princess and not just because of her rude personality or rash actions, but because of the way she treated Jim.
She noticed it since the first time they arrived at planet Endos; Jim has always been deeply in love with her, yet her affection wasn´t returned. She was distant with the worm, thing that Bonikka noticed, hurt Jim.
She couldn´t simply understand, if the worm showed her the same kind of affection he feels for the princess, Bonikka would take it right away. He didn´t have malice, he wasn´t a brute, he was attentive, romantic and even though, his mannerism was rather childish, it was this characteristic that made him special.
Bonikka had seen several so-called heroes come and go, show their deepest desires and fall from grace in search of fame and fortune, yet this worm that named himself savior of the universe, has done nothing more than good deeds without asking anything in return. Still, Peter was right, Evil was powerful and they would need all the help they could get to find and rescue Jim.
“Very well, I will direct my troops towards Earth, contact What´s-her-name until I arrive.” Bonikka replied.
“Will do, princess!” Happily answered Peter. “But could I ask you a favor?”
Bonikka smiled. “What is it Peter?”
“I heard your planet has a lot of delicious dishes, could you... Am... Bring me some?”
Bonikka couldn´t help but to release a chuckle at the puppy´s request. “Of course Peter, see you soon.” With that, she cut the transmission and got ready to call for her fleet, this day was going to be longer than she thought, but it was worth it. Jims had rescued them many times, it was time to return the favor.
Five minutes earlier
With a loud thump, Jim made his way to the ground, this day it seemed Evil was definitely done playing, a fact made evident by his non usual usage of magic against him. Sure, The battery of the gods served as a protective barrier against Evil´s most powerful attacks, but he was now using physical contact, something rather weird coming from the feline, not mentioning the fury he used against the worm. Indeed, Jim had dealt with the cat numerous times, but he had never been as ruthless as in that moment, he was unprepared for the assault, but he was still a tough match, sadly there wasn´t much time before the ship was obliterated, Evil certainly had him in a dead end.
Jim snapped out of his thoughts just in time to avoid one of Evil´s blast attacks. In the small momentum, Jim took notice of one last ship resting almost untouched in the hangar, if he could only...
“Aha!” Jim screamed in victory as soon as an idea came to his mind. Above him, the ceiling was falling apart, a few tubes going out of the metal; one simple pull and the whole roof would collapse and if there was a certain cat under, Jim would have plenty of time to escape.
Now with a plan, a smile appeared on Jim´s features. His attention shifted back to Evil, who was about to ram against him in his shadow form, the worm dodged out of the way and blasted against the black mist before rolling farther away and closer to the spot. Another blast came to his way and same as last time, he dodged. Taking the momentum once more, Jim took notice of several out of place parts on the wall and a half hanged ship that he could use to climb towards the ceiling.
Once more, he returned his eyes to Evil, who tried to claw Jim, this time, the worm took hold of the shadow cat´s paw and kneed him in the gut, causing Evil to loose his breath.
Before the cat could find his way to the floor, Jim threw a punch to his face, finally bringing the body to the ground, which soon dissipated under the metal floor.
The worm instantly knew he was about to get some help to get higher and prepared for Evil to attack, which soon he did.
Black smoke appeared from under Jim and sent him flying to the air... This was the moment.
Seconds before evil could claw the worm, Jim used his head body to get hold of one of the beams and circled around it, gaining speed while hitting Evil in the face with his feet. Wasting no time, the worm let go of the tube, making him go higher.
Evil the cat reacted almost instantly and tried once more to claw Jim, but same as last time, the worm managed to dodge the attack mid-air and with the help of the half hanged ship, gained more altitude to reach the ceiling.
Finally there, he placed himself on the loose tubes under the cracked ceiling and smiled at Evil who was once more going for the kill. “Hey Evil!” He called out. “So, how many lives you have left? Because you´re about to lose another!”
The cat saw too late what was about to happen, as Jim used his strength to pull the loosened beams, bringing the ceiling down unto Evil.
The worm had little time to react and used the same force to pull himself away of the falling debris, landing on his feet alongside the downed cat.
With a victorious smile, he hurried to get inside the purple ship. The ship was shaking badly, forcing the worm to get hold of the door´s frame to avoid falling, then precipitated towards the ship´s cabin. In a hurry to avoid being rusted, Jim sat down over the pilot´s seat and turned the space ship on.
Giving one look behind him, Jim wondered about the fact he was leaving Evil. This act may have been cruel by hero standards, but he knew the cat would be alright.
Outside the vehicle, several grunts were heard under the debris, grunts that came from a rather angry cat, who, using very little of his power, blasted the fallen ruff, sending the metal everywhere in the hangar. He was mad and went to approach the escaping ship, sadly for him, it was already in the air, before the propellers released a roaring fire that illuminated the hangar´s path as it went out of the insectican brigade. Evil the cat gritted his teeth and silently watched as the ship escaped the imminent explosion.
Soon enough, the fires inside the hangar were starting to consume everything inside, it was a fiery inferno, yet Evil did not care, his home was worse. His thoughts were completely focused on Jim, who once more had managed to survive, but Evil he wasn´t about to let this opportunity slip his claws, less when he was already weakened. It was a shame the blasted battery prevented him from erasing him out of existence, because if it did let him, Evil would certainly have a lot of fun with his foe before killing him.
Several joyful ideas crossed the cat´s mind, from being skinned alive to being fed to major Mucus´ pet. Indeed it was a shame the god´s power only let him perform painless spells on Jim. ´Painless´ Evil thought, wide opening his eyes as a smile suddenly crossed his lips... If the battery wouldn´t let him harm the worm, maybe it could let him do something ´harmless´ to the worm, maybe transport him to the planet Heck, where Evil would take the opportunity to finally end him, after all, this day the worm had barely escaped.
With this thought, the cat prepared his spell. His eyes went dark, a black mist going out of them. He had come to be one of the greatest magic users in all the galaxy and it showed.
Infinite rage consumed him as his stare was fixed on the fleeing ship, then he spoke...
ERGOS AMANTOS ING!
As the word left his mouth, a dark demon-like creature went out of his paws and made his way towards the escaping vehicle.
Evil the cat remained inside the ship as it finally exploded, the smile never leaving his face.
Outside the now destroyed place, Jim sighed in relief and let his blaster on the co-o pilot seat, then proceeded to touch the radio to inform the queen about his escape. Just as he was about to touch the button, a black figure found its way inside the cockpit and leeched into the back of the worm, who had little time to react as it began to emit a high pitched laugh.
“What the Heck?!” He tried with all his might to get rid of the demon, but before any progress could be made, the creature´s eyes turned bright orange, seconds later, beams of light started to come out from it, breaking the shadow as if it was a simple mirror, then exploded into various shards. The light that had started to come out from the demon absorbed Jim out of the interior of the ship and into an unknown destination.
A thick black smoke was left behind and from the outside of the ship, queen Bonikka could be seen staring into the interior.
The enormous orange worm hole surrounded Jim, who did his best to gain balance and get a good look at what exactly was happening, yet the push force was too strong. He had a hunch on what had happened as well as where he was going. This was the first time Jim used this kind of transport and although he imagined it was a little less chaotic, he was certainly enjoying the colors, even though the agitated movement was annoying.
Suddenly, fear entered the worm, who had just realized he had given Bonikka his Pocket Rocket, leaving him unable to escape Heck. The worm grew worried about Peter, he would most certainly be worried about this inconvenience, but at least, he would have a good chance to defeat Evil. Unto another thought, Jim hoped Bonikka was safe and sound aboard her ship.
Jim, in his inability, did not notice his awaited destination up ahead the madness tunnel, neither the hands of Heck which had just entered the wicked tunnel realm to take hold of their victim, which was within their grasp. They were certainly savoring the awaited enemy, which was about to be torn apart for their master...
...then a caw collided against him, changing his destination and thus starting this stupid story... Sheesh!
For Jim, well... He certainly felt the impact full force, which caused him to sail uncontrollably across the void and preventing him from taking notice of the caw savior and his happiness for interfering.
Soon enough, our hero just stopped trying to resist the force and simply let go. Whatever awaited him at the end of this, he would be prepared.
And so it was, that with one last word he prepared for what was about to come.
“ROSEBUD!!!”

Well, first chapter in this crossover, hope you all like it.
Evil was a very busy cat, he either was torturing souls or coordinating his demons, other times he was taking care of Heck and its endless pits and seas of lava and finally, he would sometimes accept auditions from beings that wanted something with the promise of giving their souls to the cat. However, he would enjoy a chat with some of the universe´s most prominent villains and close tools from when he needed them, but there would not always be friendly chats and the one he had right now, was a clear example of that.
“You boarded my ship and blew it!” Screamed Slugg-for-Butt, her anger clearly noticeable by everyone, however, it did not intimidate Evil in the slightlest, who was just simply staring at her with a bored expression. The queen was very known for her cruelty and incomparable power that she held, but for Evil, she was just a two bit magician.
Yawing rather calmly and much to the queen´s anger, Evil simply continued playing with a ball he had on his paws.
“For how long are you going to remain silent? I asked for this audition to avoid wasting my time!” Slugg-for-a-Butt replied, finally getting the attention of the cat, who simply turned to look at her.
“As far as I know,” he finally said, “it was the worm who activated the ship´s auto destruction.”
The queen roared in anger. “The ship has no auto destruction visible in plain sight for any idiot to come and press it! You changed my cruiser´s functionality and it is going to cost you, cat!”
“Careful my dear queen,” Evil replied rather calmly, “remember your place in this galaxy.”
The queen wide open her eyes in pure fury. “My place? My place!? I will...”
Before she could finish her sentence, a barrage of fire appeared around her, burning her Insectican guards to a crisp and leaving a scared queen looking at the pair of yellow eyes staring at her, an angry look now visible on his face. Getting the hint clearly, Slugg-for-a-Butt lowered her scepter and backed away, she was scared and it made Evil happy.
“Glad I made myself clear, queen.” He said.
Slug-for-a-Butt hated this kind of moments, she was normally in control of everything, enjoying the benefit of having the universe under her might, but she was nothing compared to what this cat could do. There was simply no saying on what his limits were and she was sure she didn´t want to find out ever. Evil the cat was a being you would not want to anger and she knew it, it was this thought that frustrated her.
Tightening her grip on her scepter in frustration, Slugg-for-a-Butt made an effort to breath calmly and avoid her rage getting to her. “I din´t came here to start a dispute, Evil.” The cat smiled, he was in control and he knew it. “Jim has not appeared ever since his encounter with you and I know he didn´t die in that explosion.”
“And how do you know that?” Asked the still smiling cat.
Sadly for him, the queen had the right answer. “You think I can´t feel your frustration? You may be stronger than me, but I am no weakling, I know you wouldn´t be this ´calm´ and I want to know what happened to him.” Evil´s smile faded, she was right and it angered him. “I was thinking you could accompany me to Insectica, maybe we could help each other to finally get rid of that worm.”
Evil moved his upper body to the front, still sitting on his throne and gave the queen a frown. “That worm is mine.” He was not yelling, but Slugg-for-a-Butt could feel the weight and anger in the cat´s words. She gulped.
“You are not the only one that suffers because of him and there´s something preventing you from getting him, which is why I suspect you haven´t done anything.” Once more, the queen was right. Evil gritted his teeth. “I want nothing more than to see that worm erased from existence, I really don´t care who does it and you clearly need help to find him. I´m simply asking you to come with me and discuss this, maybe you could find something that could benefit you further.”
Giving a deep breath to calm himself, Evil placed his paw under his chin, thinking about this. He knew he couldn´t trust her, not that he was worried, but the moment he showed a hint of weakness, all around him could simply collapse. He could always find the worm by himself, but would probably take longer, he needed help.
Evil had figured that going with Slugg-for-a-Butt was the best course of action, however, he would not simply launch himself blindly, thankfully he had already things planned in case something went astray.
Finally going out of his trance, Evil looked at the queen and gave her a nod.
“Glad you took this decision.” Said Slugg-for-a-Butt, as Evil got up from his throne. “Come, we have a long way to start discussing this.”
The queen had just turned around, as she proceeded to her ship. She was nervous about bringing him a top of the cruiser, but there was so much she could take from this.
Soon enough, the queen entered the ship from the giant ramp, with Evil going behind her, however, before he got inside, the cat turned to his left. Not far from his position, a rock formation greeted him. Evil nodded, with this, he returned his eyes to the ship and entered it.
The engines roared, accompanying the now levitating ship, as a pair of eyes silently watched it leave the surface. It wasn´t long before a wide yellow smile was seen between the darkness.
If there was one thing Fluttershy simply loved, was seeing her animals happy. Some liked being pet, others enjoyed the moments when the played with each other and others simply adored eating time. Snott, certainly entered all three categories.
Fluttershy found it amusing, for such a small being, it sure had a lot of appetite. The mucus creature was going for his third plate and there still wasn´t sign of him being stuffed. Fluttershy analyzed the little creature, she had certainly never seen an animal like him and she knew a lot about animals. Maybe it was her fault for being so close minded about the subject. In the end, Fluttershy liked knowing new species. Thoughts aside, she wondered if there were more like him and Jim.
Suddenly going out of her trance while watching Snott, Fluttershy remembered the big worm and wondered what had happened. The little mucus animal had a lot of luck for being inside the back pack all the time, but she felt bad for Jim for having gone through whatever he went.
Contrary to the pegasus, a certain bunny was shooting daggers at Snott. How dare this guy eat all of his food? This was shaping up to be a great day for Angel: First, returning home, then belly scratching time, after this, that woman would go to the kitchen to prepare him a sandwich while she scratched his ear... All in all, a fantastic day for him, but hen this thing came and suddenly all of Fluttershy´s attention was directed towards him. Angel didn´t like this at all, but there was nothing he could do about this, because anything he could do to Snott, the pegasus would scold him. Thankfully for Angel, he would have an opportunity.
Fluttershy had just finished observing Snott, when she took the decision of checking out the creature´s friend. “I´l bee right back, Snott.” She said, getting a friendly and rather adorable nod from the mucus creature.
A smiling pegasus went out of the kitchen, leaving Angel and Snott alone... The bunny released an evil smirk.
Taking an apple from Snott´s plate, Angel took aim against the open window of the kitchen, then made a few sounds to get the slime creature´s attention and teased him with the delicious fruit, to which Snott feel for quickly. Like a dog, his gaze followed the red delicacy, as it was waved in the air by the sinister bunny. Suddenly and with enough force, Angel threw the fruit against the opened window and was naturally followed by Snott, who almost instantly jumped from his place.
For Angel, this was a rather delightful moment, as he would soon see this guy out of the house and he would surely waste no time to close the window, saddly for him, the bunny had miscalculated the throw and the red apple crashed against the mark of the window and bounced back to Angel, Snott following close behind.
SQUISH!
Much for the bunny´s dismay, his body was covered by a bruise from the fruit and the slime of Snott, who was now licking Angel´s face and if this wasn´t enough, Fluttershy was just entering the room.
For Angel, this had been a wasted opportunity to get rid of the slime creature, ending with his humiliation, for Fluttershy, though, this was a rather cute scene.
“Oh! I´m so happy that you managed to befriend him, Angel!” The bunny launched a death stare towards Fluttershy, but this went unnoticed by the shy pegasus, who got closer to the duo and used her hoof to scratch Snott´s back. “Didn´t I tell you he was sweetheart?”
Snott made a few noises with his mouth and rubbed his face against Fluttershy´s hooves, causing the pegasus to release a chuckle, Angel, however, opted to roll his eyes.
Soon enough and thankfully for Angel, scratching time was over, with Fluttershy getting a good look at Snott´s empty plate, immediately making her cover her mouth. “Oh my!” Her gaze returned to the slime creature. “You were really hungry, Snott.” However, Snott was not without feelings and his face showed a sad and concerned look as soon as the words left from Fluttershy´s mouth, but far from angering the shy pegasus, it actually made her chuckle. “Don´t worry Snott, that´s what food is for, besides, I was in the mood of visiting the market.” With that, Fluttershy turned around to head towards the door. “I´ll be right back, come on Angel.”
As the bunny prepeared to leave the kitchen, he turned around to stick his tongue out towards Snott, trying to rub his victory in the rival´s face, however, the slime creature simply smiled and gave a friendly wave to the bunny, who grunted in response... At least he wouldn´t have to deal with him on the time being...
“Actually,” Fluttershy said, suddenly stopping at the door, “why don´t you come with us, Snott?” Angel´s ears went up high as soon as he heard this and wasted no time to shake his head against the pegasus´ idea, however, this went unnoticed by her. “That way I can show you Ponyville.”
As soon as Snott gave her the hugest of smiles and jumped to set himself over Fluttershy´s back, Angel face palmed, his exasperation unnerving him.
As the smiling Fluttershy left the kitchen with Snott on her back, Angel went behind her, launching death threats with his hands against the mucus creature, who simply interpreted them as some kind of game, one which he followed, furthering angering the bunny, who simply opted to stop the ´game´and keep walking. This first try wasn´t successful but he had plenty of time to craft a master plan.
With this thought in mind, the sinister bunny let out an evil smile.
Like thunderous storm, an enormous ship entered Heck´s atmosphere, flying across the hellish skies.
Several denizens of hell prepared to receive the guests and plenty more took flight to greet these new poor souls. Suddenly, a black smoke was raising from the rocky atmosphere and towards the sky behemoths, with the intention of showing them why Heck was the most feared planet on the universe.
The space ship held the name ´Winter´s Fury´ on its side and inside it, Jim´s friends were waiting to get to the surface.
The door to the bridge opened to give entrance to Dalus, who made his way towards the front window, with the intention of getting a good look at the planet. In all honesty, he was terrified of being here, as he was sure most Endorians aboard were as well. None had ever dared set foot in Heck and now here they were, in search of a lost giant worm in a space suit.
Soon enough, the admiral´s thoughts were cut short by the voice of a young Endorian, who had just taken a look at his monitor.
“Sir!” He spoke, catching the admiral´s attention. “I´ve detected movement on the back of the ship, multiple hostiles incoming!”
“Let a squadron out to protect the Winter´s Fury, we need to land on the surface.” Dalus replied, getting a nod from the Endorian, but before he could return to follow the command, he noticed something else.
“There is a ship going out of the planet.” Dalus raised an eyebrow at this. “It is Insectican in nature.”
The admiral placed one hand under his chin, thinking about this for a second. “Leave it be, maybe the bug queen tried to get an audience with Evil.”
With one final nod from the young Endorian, Dalus took sit in front of the bridge´s window to observe the incoming spectacle.
The black mantle of demons had been erected and were making their way towards the ships engines. The sounds of wings an claws clenched themselves to the tubes, getting ready to rip apart the metal, until several blue blasts disintegrated the black creatures. Soon enough the demons´ attention was switched towards the incoming squadron, smiles appearing on their face as they prepared to strip Endorian flesh from its bones and so it was that the battle began.
Between blaster sounds and screams from both sides, the Winter´s Fury came down towards Heck´s surface. The planet had become a war ground, with several explosions giving the ship a dread entrance.
Dalus had remained on the bridge, often grabbing his chair to avoid falling from one of the ship´s violent quakes. It wasn´t too long before the door of the room opened to reveal three figures.
“Admiral, what´s happening?” Bonikka´s voice placed Dalus on his feet, who almost immediately walked towards the Endorian queen, who had just arrived the bridge with What´s-her-name and a still sick Peter.
“Ship´s under attack, those damned creatures trying to tear us from the sky.” Dalus answered, clenching his fist, however, this did not worried Bonikka, who did her best to remain calm.
“What is the status?”
Another violent shake made them almost fall to the floor, with Dalus releasing a grunt. “We´ll make it to the ground in a few moments, but I don´t suspect these bastards to receive us with open arms and baskets full of flowers.”
Far from ending Bonikka´s confidence, her face showed determination. “Then start rounding up your forces to repel any hostile.” They were there already, just a few moments to arrive to the surface and search for Jim and there would be nothing that would stop the queen from doing it.
Dalus really had to admire her courage. He simply smiled at her decision. “Yes ma´am.”
Of course, a rude comment from the princess could not falter, even if the situation was critical. “At last! I was getting tired of this flying wuss ship!”
With a roll from her eyes, Bonikka decided not to bother looking at the princess. “I will pretend I didn´t hear that and that the sound was just an annoying mosquito.”
“Yeah, you better.”
Bonikka released a grunt as a response, then turned around to leave the bridge with her two companions, getting ready to step on Heck´s surface.
The beautiful afternoon gave way to the lively market in Ponyville, as multiple ponies went left and right to buy whatever they needed.
From the several equines, Fluttershy was making her way to buy some carrots, the rest of the list being filled with everything she needed.
The trip hadn't been a shore, as Angel had done his best to remain calm... There were simply too many witnesses. Contrary to the frowning bunny, Snott was trotting lazily posing on Fluttershy´s back, enjoying the view of the place. The shy pegasus had to admit that Snott wasn´t heavy nor uncomfortable to carry around, to the contrary, his unusual slimy body was rather calming, so much in fact, that it had prevented her from seeing Angel who was shooting daggers at Snott the whole time.
Soon enough, Fluttershy arrived at the stand, where a pale brown mare with orange mane received her with a smile. “Hello, Fluttershy.” She greeted. “Same as always?”
“If you don´t mind.” Answered the timid pegasus. Not much time passed before the mare brought her two pairs of carrots to which Fluttershy received before giving the mare her payment.
After the bits were received with a nod, the shy pegasus turned around to start the way home, but in the process, a blue blur greeted her.
“Hey there, Flutters!” Rainbow stopped her flight in front of the yellow pegasus, who after giving a small jump of surprise, gave a deep sigh and greeted her friend.
“Good afternoon, Rainbow, what are you doing here? If you don´t mind me asking, that is.”
“Just came back from Morpheus arms and got in the mood the stretch these beauties when I found Twilight and told me to round up the girls.”
Fluttershy cocked her head to the side upon this newly arrived set of news. “Why?” She asked. It wasn´t everyday Twilight asked the Elements to have a meeting and when it happened it usually meant something happened, still, she had to now the nature of this.
“She told me we were going to the crystal king...” Suddenly, the rainbow colored pegasus noticed the green ball waving at her with a huge smile on its face. The stunned mare flew in front of Fluttershy, staring blankly at the creature. “Umm.. Flutters? There is something hideously ugly waving at me and it is on your back.”
Fluttershy opened wide her eyes for a moment, before a hint of recognition hit her, instantly releasing a smile. “Oh, don´t worry, Rainbow, this is just Snott, I found him close to the Everfree.”
The rainbow pegasus alarmed upon hearing this. “Wow, from the Everfree? Kill it before it lay eggs!” The timid pegasus released a chuckle at rainbow´s reaction, just as the the smiling slime creature got off Fluttershy´s back and walked closer to Rainbow. “Stand back, buddy!”
“Calm down, Snott is not dangerous.” Fluttershy said, catching the attention of the rainbow pegasus.
“Not dangerous but very ugly!”
Upon hearing the words, Snott´s face fell, his eyes grew wide open, giving them a crystalline look, something that made Fluttershy frown. “You hurt his feelings!”
“It has feelings?”
Rainbow´s momentum wouldn´t last, as she noticed a very sinister stare coming from the yellow pegasus. With a grunt, the rainbow colored pegasus got closer to the small creature and extended her hoof. “Hey there, little buddy.”
Snott´s face turned from sad to happy in an instant, making him rub his face in a gently manner across all of Rainbow´s hoof, who as soon as she felt the texture, wide opened her eyes and released a quick scream, while trying to get the slime off from her. “Geez, Flutters, what is he made of, mucus?”
Fluttershy placed her right hoof on her chin, thinking about Rainbow´s question. Certainly this idea never came into her mind. “Actually, I really don´t know,” Soon her mind returned to the matter at hoof, “but either way, Snott is a living thing with feelings and deserves to be treated well.”
Both Rainbow and Angel rolled their eyes at the same time. It was simply impossible to argue with Fluttershy when referring to animals.
On his part, Snott got closer to the blue pegasus, making a bunch of sounds which caught the mare´s attention, who turned to look at the mucus creature. “Nothing personal bud,” she said, “but slime and Rainbow don´t mix, I´m sure you have an incredible personality.”
With a gentle caught, Fluttershy got Rainbow´s attention back. “So... You were telling me about Twilight?”
“Oh yeah!” Exclaimed Rainbow, going out of her trance and remembering the reason of her appearance. “Twilight told me to get you and the girls, we´re going to the crystal kingdom.”
Fluttershy´s face showed concern as soon as she heard the pegasus´ words. “Oh my! I hope everything´s okay.”
“I suppose, she just told me something about a princess´ duty or whatever.” Replied Rainbow, getting a nod Fluttershy as a response.
“I guess I should be getting this back home and head to the library.” Answered the shy pegasus.
“Yep! No pressure Fluttershy, I´ll be seeing you!” Rainbow answered, as she prepared to head of flying, but stopped mid air and turned to look at her friend. “Oh and... You might want to consider moving out from the Everfree.”
Fluttershy released a chuckle as a response. With a wave, the two mares parted ways, with the shy pegasus returning to her home, preparing herself for the journey.
On her way, Fluttershy went through this request from Twilight and thought about her new guests. She couldn´t simply leave Jim, but Twilight´s request sounded important, maybe if she left the giant worm at the paws of Angel and Snott. She knew the bunny was capable of taking care of their home and now she had Snott. The pegasus knew the small creature would be happy to help his friend and this meant less work for Angel to carry, plus, the bunny and Snott seemed to be getting along pretty well.
Unknown to Fluttershy, Angel was launching death threats with his paws, towards Snott who was simply laughing at the ´entertainment´ the bunny was providing... Soon enough a vein popped from Angel´s forehead.
Between the slime creature´s laughs, Fluttershy thought they were simply playing, further confirming her thoughts. Perhaps nothing bad would happen with this plan.
The journey to her home continued, as Fluttershy thought about Jim and Snott, was had she never seen beings like them? The Everfree would occasionally spew out weird thing after weird thing, but she had never seen anything like them. Her mind went from the two creatures to the stranger white suit, it sure didn´t look like anything she had ever seen before, but the weird part was that it actually resembled Twilight´s description of humans from when she went through the mirror, was there a possibility of another mirror like portal inside the forest? If so, did they came from the human world? As far as she knew, humans didn´t look like Jim or Snott, but then again, she never went inside the mirror and there would always be the possibility of other kid of species living amongst them.
Setting the thoughts aside, Fluttershy spotted her home within reach and sped up her walk. She had to hurry and let everything ready so that she could get to the library.
The door of the cottage was soon opened, giving way to Fluttershy and her two companions. Giving one look at the sofa, she noticed Jim still sleeping, her eyes then shifted from the worm to the now sitting suit, wait... Did it move from its original place?
Fluttershy stood at the entrance, staring blanly at the white thing, meanwhile Angel and Snott proceeded to enter the house. The bunny went straight to the kitchen, while the slime creature opted to sit alongside his friend.
Fluttershy meanwhile, was at a loss from words. She waited a few more seconds to see if something else happened and when she saw there was no movement, decided to shrug the weird occurrence off and set the thing she bought inside the kitchen.
Fluttershy knew she had to hurry, but she was also very patient, fact clearly shown by the way she calmly proceeded to place the groceries on their respective places. Angel had taken sit at the table, carrot in hand while being lost in his own thoughts.
Not too much time had passed before Fluttershy finished placing the groceries on their respective places, then directed her gaze towards the bunny. “Come on Angel, I need to set up some rules before I get to Twilight´s home.”
The bunny grunted in response, as he got off the chair and followed Fluttershy to the living room ,where Snott received her with a smile. As soon as the shy pegasus got the attention of the two, she took a deep breath. “Okay, I´m going out a few days and I need the two of you to take care of Jim and the house.” Her gaze shifted from bunny to Snott. “Angel knows how to take care of the house, he´s going to help you take care of your friend, but I need you to help him out, con you do that for me?”
With a rather excited nod from Snott´s head, Fluttershy got an answer which made her smile. She was glad that for now, one of the two new creatures was so kind and with the little creature´s eagerness, she now had less to worry about. Soon, her face released a preoccupied expression. “I should hurry to Twilight´s house.” She said, quickly walking towards the door. With one last look, Fluttershy noticed a certain bunny staring at the still sitting suit and launched a warning. “I want you away from that suit, are we clear, Angel?”
The bunny rolled his eyes and nodded, then hurried the pegasus to get out of the house with his paws.
“I trust in you, Angel.” Fluttershy said, these being her last words before she opened the door to head outside.
Soon enough there was silence inside the room. Fluttershy had left, leaving the animals, Angel and Snott alone.
While resting a top of the worm, Snott noticed Angel giving away a long yawn before he head out of the living room and upstairs, leaving Snott alone with Jim.
The slime creature´s eyes returned to his friend. He was worried about him, but at least he was safe inside Fluttershy´s home. It was unfortunate Jim would not meet her right away, she seemed like a very nice pony and Snott certainly liked her, still, for now, the health of his friend was the thing that mattered most.
Setting these thoughts aside, Snott tried to imagine how exactly they arrived here and adventures they were about to get involved.
His life had always been entertaining for a mucus creature, but ever since he got inside Jim´s backpack on the mucus planet, his life had taken a shift and become even more interesting. Snott would end up loving his new home and his new friends, still, they were not home and he had no idea where this place was located. He could only hope they could find a way back.
Who Turned Out The Lights?
Parts of metal, along with black dust fell from the fiery red sky, covering the black surface of the planet. Sounds of war resounded on the above, as a pair of ships descended into the ground.
The engines would soon get quiet, followed by the sound of a metal door opening to give way to a bunch of poor souls who found themselves in the pits of Heck.
Two feminine figures alongside a dog-shaped silhouette, made themselves visible from the outside of the vehicle and behind them, several troops settled themselves alongside the trio.
Bonikka found herself staring at her surroundings, noticing the sense of dread the planet gave her. “We are here,” she muttered, “we are in Heck.”
Enormous and almost infinite landscapes were scattered across miles and miles of fire and lava, black and twisted ground were erected to the sky, giving the Heckish ground the feel it was covered in demonic horns.
For princess What´s-her-name, even though she was calm, it actually gave her the creeps. She had never been to this planet before and even if she never admitted it, the reason was because she could never dare to face a place like this, she simply did not know how it was that Jim came here and simply flew away with his usual smile plastered on his face. The princess released a chuckle at this thought.
Her mind shifted from this, to the scared dog alongside her. She knew Peter had been in Heck before, bu it clearly wasn´t an exciting experience as it was for Jim, she felt sorry for the puppy.
“We have to move!” Bonikka´s voice interrupted the princess´ train of thought and set her gaze on the queen. “We are close to Evil´s throne and if we move now, we may avoid any further aggression from the locals.”
“You do realize these ´locals´ are actually demons, right?” Asked What´s-her-name, getting an amused look from Bonikka.
“Why?” She asked. “Are you actually afraid?” ´Damn´ the princess muttered silently. Yes, she was kind of afraid, this was the kind of place she would see in a nightmare. Bonikka chuckled. “I am too.”
Far from accepting the queen´s attempt at being friendly, What´s-her-name crossed her arms. “I´m not scared, I was just worried you would get back to you ship and cry in a corner.”
Bonikka sighed. “Why do you have to be such a b...”
“Girls!” Interrupted Peter. “Can we just move? I don´t know how much longer I´ll be able to resist the callings of my stomach.” The two royalties turned to look at him. “Seriously, I´m tempted to get an exorcist if it keeps talking to me!”
Both royalties chuckled at this. Peter had a strong stomach, that much was true, but like any other hero, he had a weakness and that weakness came in the for of a dish.
´Hero´ thought Bonikka. Normally, the universe would rest on the cares of one being that could hold the weight on his shoulders and now, that being was lost and they were here to rescue him. “Okay, lets not waste more time and move out.” Her gaze turned to her soldiers. “Guards! Establish a perimeter and look for any kind of hostiles, protect the ship until we return!”
“Yes ma´am!” Answered the Endorian soldiers.
Looking towards the other batch of guards, Bonikka cleared her throat. “You are coming with us, a demon pops out, we take it out!”
Now settle, the group began the trek across the wicked land of the damned, ready for whatever would come for them and it sure would.
Step after step, they could hear each time less the voices of the guards guarding the ship, above them, the ongoing fight all around ´The Winter´s Fury´ and finally, they took notice of the several moans of the damned.
It was a creepy place, something that made the group´s heart race, expecting a horrible nightmare to pup out and they silently prayed this was not the case.
There was no word spoken between the group, not natural sound, just the silence and dread. This situation would continue for several minutes, as they made their way towards Evil´s throne.
Along the journey, What´s-her-name had taken the decision of remaining alongside Peter to avoid any of his... Moments and he was sure trying to remain calm.
"I must not fear, fear is the mind killer, fear is the little death that brings total oblivion.” The mantra was repeated time and time again, it was Peter´s way of remaining calm and he sure needed it right now.
The princess noticed the puppy trembling with each step he gave, she couldn´t blame him, she was terrified as well, but at least nothing had come out to greet them.
Soon, Evil´s throne was seen, closer to the group, who had decided to sped up the walk.
They had expected something hideous to come out and assault them, but nothing came out from the fiery inferno and the only thing that laid in front of them was a lone throne.
Carefully getting closer, the queen sent her troops to see the surroundings in search for the cat, meanwhile they waited at the center.
“I don´t get it, he should be here.” Said Bonikka. “There are even no demons close by, why?”
Princess What´s-her-name looked at her, trying to find an answer amidst the unusual discovery, sadly, she had nothing. Soon, the royalties´ thoughts were cut short by another voice.
“Nothing around your majesty.” Said a guard, catching Bonikka´s attention, who turned around the stare at the soldier.
“Nothing? Not even a hint on where that bloody cat could be?!” The guard shook his head, Bonikka pushed further. “What about a hint? Something that could tell us where he is! Maybe something unusual.”
“There was an Insectican cruiser going out of the planet, but we assumed it was nothing.” The guard answered.
Bonikka stared blankly at him, with What´s-her-name face palming at this. It wasn´t long before the queen´s eye began to twitch. It was obvious what had happened and it was amazing how her soldiers had managed to simply ignore this aspect.
Behind Bonikka, What´s-her-name got closer. “Guess we are going to Insectica.”
Bonikka sighed “Guess we are.” In her mind, this mission was starting to get more annoying by the moment.
Unknown to them, a shape followed them back to the ship.
For Snott, the first night had passed, it was already morning and there was no sign of Fluttershy. Whatever she had to do, should have been important.
He kind of liked this place, even other animals were friendly to him, especially Angel. Looking at his side, Snott noticed the still sleeping Jim, snoring loudly like there was no tomorrow. Not long passed before the mucus creature felt a disturbance on his belly and he gave no second thought in releasing a smile. Eating time was at hand.
Quickly making his way towards the kitchen, Snott opened the door and instantly spotted the fridge calling him. His smile growing larger by the second, the mucus creature got closer to the gold mine. Suddenly, a white thing blocked his path.
There, standing in front of him, was a certain white rabbit with an angry look on his face. Snott smiled at him and waved, then tried to get past the bunny. With the intention of stopping Snott´s intentions once more, Angel side stepped to block the slime creature´s path. Snott cocked his head to the side, what exactly was happening?
Frown still in place, Angel got closer to the fridge and opened it, then with his paw, he took out a carrot and waved it in front of Snott´s face.
The mucus creature opened his mouth in a smile and stuck out his tongue in a playful manner. Angel kept waving the carrot, taunting Snott to grab it, then as the mucus creature nodded, Angel released an evil smile and swallowed the carrot whole.
Snott released a sad look.
Opening the fridge once again, Angel grabbed every bit of fruits he could encounter and placed them in a bowl, then wasted no time in sitting on the chair, in front of the table. As he eat, the bunny looked straight at Snott, taunting him with the food. The mucus creature reached into his belly and felt it trembling once more, the turned to look at the bunny with a pleading look.
Angel smiled, maybe he should use this opportunity to set a bunch of rules. With one wave from his paw, he called Snott to sit in front of him, to which the mucus creature instantly did.
With a bunch of gestures, Angel began tracing his own rules against Snott, which were basically: You don´t do anything until I say so, you don´t eat anything until I say so, you don´t let Fluttershy rub your belly... ever and so fort. With each passing rule, Snott´s face fell more and more, until Angel presented him a the prize for this sacrifices. Holding a an apple high, he indicated the mucus creature that it could be his, should he comply in the bunny´s demand.
Snott thought about this, he could simply obey and get the fuel necessary for him to make his tummy happy, or he could deny it and stop eating until Fluttershy arrived. With a decision, Snott gently shook his head, to which Angel simply shrugged his shoulders and got all the fruits inside his mouth, causing Snott to place both of his appendages for hands, on his cheeks, releasing a scream in the process... Angel laughed at this.
The bunny would soon feel the anger, as a more determined Snott shook his head once again, negating Angel´s request. Angel frowned for a moment, Snott was hard to break, but everyone had a prize.
Quickly thinking of something, Angel grinned, the made a few sounds with his mouth and pointed with his finger towards the exit of the kitchen. Snott remained skeptical for a few seconds until he recognized what Angel was talking about... he was about to grab Jim´s suit.
This was bad, he had to do something. Jim´s suit was a powerful tool, not made for anyone to use, for it had several consequences on those that could not accept the weapon´s nature. Quickly shaking his head, Snott asked Angel not to do it, but the stubborn bunny was too lost to listen and wasted no time in stepping off from the chair and run straight to the door and into the living room where the suit was resting. Without wasting a second, Snott followed behind.
Soon enough, Angel stopped his run as he spotted the suit sitting still, then turned to look at Snott and released an evil smile. Snott frowned in response and made a few sounds with his mouth, but the bunny simply ignored them and stepped closer to it. Once more, Snott pleaded for him to step away from the weapon and after a few more tries, Angel´s look was replaced with a bored expression and shrugged his shoulders in response, as he went away from the suit,
Snott sighed in relief at this, until he noticed Angel´s evil look again. In an instant, the bunny jumped into the suit´s hole.
Sparks flew out from the inside and an alarmed Snott could noticed a white bunny shaking badly inside the suit. His hair stood up, as his eyes went blank. A thin smoke was starting to come out from the weapon.
Snott was in a hurry, not exactly knowing what to do. Not too long after, the bunny stopped shaking and remained still, eyes closed.
Carefully getting closer, Snott climbed up the suit and looked inside the collar hole, noticing knocked out Angel, he sighed in relief. With a start, Snott proceeded to take out the bunny until his eyes suddenly opened, scaring Snott with the sudden movement.
Slowly, a wicked smile began forming in Angel´s mouth, coupled with the crazy look on his eyes. Soon after, the hints of a laugh were starting to come out from the bunny and it wasn´t long before a full deranged barrage of laughter assaulted the worried Snott.
In a movement, Angel stood up, now in control of the suit, then grabbed Snott and threw him against the wall.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
The crazed bunny looked at the door and ran straight to it, breaking it and leaving a muscular hole in it Quickly realizing what had happened, Snott stood up and went after him.
The hunt for the suit had begun, as the two of them prepared to fight for the prized gift, but none of them noticed the clear skies becoming red, nor the flames on the horizon rising to the clouds.
Ponyville was a rather beautiful place, full of happy ponies, lively buildings and clear blue skies, but that was not the case this time.
A fiery look covered the ground form above, flames surrounded the town and the sounds of powerful blasts made the ground shake with force.
This was not the happy Ponyville everypony loved, this was a battle zone, witness to a fight that would decide the fate of Equestria and its ace in the hole was lying asleep inside a certain cottage.
Lamps and photos fell from the tables and walls, multiple sounds of glass being broken, resounded across the entirety of the place, but this was not the important part that shook the worm´s mind and slowly delivered from his dream, but rather the low and rough voice that broke this town.
Jim´s head body twitched one time, as if it was trying to wake up and this voice would help him on this trial, a voice that would wake the wind that was about to contain the fire.
“Princess Twilight!” The distant voice echoed from afar, waking up its doom.
An explosion was heard coming from an unknown location, forcing a certain worm to return from his rest. Jim slowly opened his eyes to spot a wooden ceiling, as he did his best to remain awake. Hid head hurt like Heck and he didn´t know why, but this wasn´t the only feeling. Lifting his head, Jim took a look at his surroundings, trying to recognize the area.
“Where am I?” He silently asked himself, slowly sitting himself on the couch and noticing something off. Taking a quick look at his lower part, Jim couldn´t help but to release a loud scream. “Where´s my suit?”
Suddenly, Snott came into view, positioning himself on top of the worm, catching his attention in the progress and making a bunch of sounds which Jim understood.
“What do you mean a killer bunny stole it?” Snott spoke once more, confusing Jim further. “A land of talking ponies?” Snott nodded and resumed his talk. “Evil forest, musical numbers and a magic called friendship?” As Snott nodded again, Jim released a short scream in response, trying to understand this newly arrived barrage of information. “Did I end up in Disneyland by mistake again?” Jim felt completely lost, struggling to understand his predicament. One moment he was going through a bizarre tunnel, the other he was in a land full of talking ponies and even though he had yet to see them, Jim trusted on Snott´s words.
However, Jim´s train of thought would have to wait, as Snott grabbed the worm´s attention once more. After a couple of weird sounds, Jim nodded. “Where is this killer bunny?”
Snott pointed towards the entrance, signaling for him to go outside. Without a second thought, the worm got off the sofa and proceeded to head towards the door, catching a side glance of a photo sitting a top of a small table, which held the image of a yellow pegasus. Curiosity got hold of the worm, who crawled right to the table and took hold of the photo, analyzing it in the process.
Snott made a few noises behind Jim, who smiled in response. “Come on, Snott, we should thank this Fluttershy once I recover my suit.”
With a nod from his head, the duo headed outside the cottage, quickly getting hold of the chaos ensuing close to them. A barrage of maniacal laughter caught the worm´s attention, who looked at the direction of the source. With a movement of his head, Jim indicated Snott to follow him.
Upon his way, Jim did not notice his surroundings, as he was focused on recovering his suit. He believed that in the bad hands, this weapon could destroy so much, as such, he felt like it was his duty to protect it at all costs.
Soon enough, the maniacal laughter was heard closer to them and it would not be long before Jim got sight on what Snott was talking about. Indeed, there, at the entrance of what looked like a town, his suit was running around, destroying houses and trees with its pass and inside it, a small white bunny held a loony look on his face.
Jim decided not to waste more time and approached the bunny. “Stop right there!” He yelled, getting the attention of the smiling Angel, who was twitching in a very unnatural manner, Jim was not fazed by this. “I will give you five seconds to give me back the suit and I will not have to whack a mole you.”
Smile still in place, Angel got closer to the worm, who couldn´t help but to grin at this action. Letting out a small laugh, Jim talked. “See Snott? There are still beings in the universe that can be civi...”
Squish!
With one quick movement, Jim was plastered under his own suit´s palm, forcing Angel to release another laugh as he went away running.
With a concerned look, Snott got close to his friend and helped him of the ground. Jim rubbed his head, as dusted himself off, then released a frown, while looking back at the slime creature. “Come on, Snott, we need to catch that bunny before he destroys the town.”
And so, the chase began, with a crazy Angel and a pair of unconventional creatures running around Ponyville, with none of them noticing the destroyed town, nor acknowledging the battle happening close to them, where a certain purple alicorn was battling against a powerful enemy.
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Angel laughed, as he launched an apple stand towards the pair, who dodged in time, before continuing their race to retrieve the weapon.
“He is really starting to be totally ungroovy, Snott.” The mucus creature agreed with this statement.
Upon their race, they noticed Angel jumping inside the remains of what looked like a destroyed tree house, Jim however, did not pay attention to this and simply followed him, sadly for the worm, a book flew straight to his face.
“Hey!” He yelled, getting another book to the face. “Are these seriously that bad?!” Just as another book found his way to the worm, Jim used his head body to grab it mid air and throw it back at the smiling bunny´s head, sending him to the floor. “Aha!” Said, Jim, making his way towards the downed Angel.
The bunny stoop up quickly and released another barrage of laughs, then turned around and went to the fridge for no reason. Not too long passed before he faced the worm back with a whole lot of carrots in his mouth, laughing at the same time.
Jim was only a few steps away from the suit when the bunny spitted a bunch of carrots, almost as if they were some kind of twisted machine gun. The weird attack was about to collide against Jim´s face, until he easily dodged them, the food would soon meet its end at Snott´s mouth, who happily received it.
Jim thought he had the bunny, but sadly for him, Angel jumped once more, getting out of the destroyed home, getting once more unto the streets.
“Oh, come on! What the Heck did this guy inhaled?” Jim said, before resuming his chase towards the bunny. None of them noticed they where heading towards an spectacle of a couple of beams being blasted by two colliding forces.
Angel landed on the floor, leaving a small crater around him and was about to continue his walk, when he noticed a shiny golden bit on the ground, immediately stopping his advance. The crazy bunny took hold of the round object and carried it to eye level. Feeling the control of the mightiest treasure on the whole universe, Angel began laughing maniacally, almost kissing the golden object.
His laughs, loud as they were, did not catch the attention of the couple of beings fighting a few meters away from him. “M...m...my precious...” Managed to utter the bunny, his voice raspy and demented.
Soon enough, Angel would feel a force taking hold of him, a skin color blur that made its way towards the bunny´s face. ”Got you!” Angel heard, as he tried to get the worm off from him.
Both worm and bunny struggled for control, but in the end, Jim managed to get hold of Angel, who returned to his normal state upon breaking contact with the powerful suit.
Holding Angel with one end of his body, Jim inserted the rest inside the weapon, getting back the control of the suit. With one sigh of relief, Jim grabbed the bonny with his right hand and held it to eye level. “So... Anything to say in your defense?”
However, Angel felt dizzy and was struggling to maintain his sight, which caused Jim to place the bonny on his palm, while petting him on the head. The now calmed worm released a gentle laugh upon his recent victory. “Bearing the suit is not an easy task, right little buddy?” Finally, the bunny succumbed from the sheer amount of energy emancipating from Jim´s suit and passed out.
Snott came running behind the worm, then settled himself on Jim´s shoulder. Preparing himself to get back to Fluttershy´s home, the worm had hoped he could clarify things up, but first he had to wait for the pegasus to arrive. It was almost comical, Jim had been dusting the suit off and while doing this, he never noticed six ponies and a draconequus passing behind him, defeat clearly shown on their faces. None of them noticed each other.
As the other beings disappeared behind the worm, he took a smiling look at his surroundings and when he did, his smile immediately fell.
He did not look a happy place full of smiling ponies like Snott had told him, he saw a destroyed town, flames consuming everything in their path and complete solitude. "Wow! Whose fut boll team won?" Jim said, trying to realize what had happened.
Turning around, he noticed a destroyed mountain and a few holes on the ground, he instantly deduced a fight had happened, although who against who he did not know, but he would not remain with the uncertainty for too much longer.
Directing his eyes from left to right, he finally got look of an enormous black and red minotaur creature, who seemed rather happy watching the destruction around him.
Releasing a frown, Jim got on one knee, as Snott went off from his shoulder. The worm turned to look at his friend and deposited Angel on his back. “Take our friend back to his home and wait for me there.”
With a nod, Snott proceeded to leave, leaving Jim to stand up and turned to look at the centaur.
Snott wasn´t exactly worried about leaving his friend, he had his good share of adventures, but he knew they were new in this world, making them oblivious of the beings living in here and by the looks of the town´s state, they were powerful. Snott could only hope Jim would be okay, but for the moment, he had to get Angel back and take care of him.
For Jim, It was kind of obvious what had happened, as there was no mention from a creature like the one standing in front of him. Snott had told the worm about ponies living in this place, but he saw none, instead, he witnessed an smiling centaur admiring the view.
He may be in a completely new place and away from home, but this place seemed like it was in peril and he would not remain with his arms crossed, no matter how unfamiliar this was all to him.
Reaching into his holster, Jim noticed something lacking. “Ungroovy.” He said, noting his blaster was not where it had to be.
It was no matter, he did not need to use his blaster to get in a fight. Relaying on his gun at all times shortened his multiple ways of taking care of the galaxy´s foes and Jim was certainly not weak, not even a little. He had been in situations where he found himself unarmed, this would be no different.
Taking a deep breath, he calmly, he made his way towards the centaur, who upon sensing something, turned around. Tirek couldn´t help but to feel confused at the scene in front of him.
There, standing a few feet away, was not the so called princess Twilight like he had been expecting, but a weird worm with body and a frown that could kill.
Trying to deduce what was happening, he released a laugh. “Didn´t know you still had magic.” Jim cocked his head to the side. “It doesn´t matter what trick you assault me with, I have won, Discord.”
“I don´t know who Discord is, but if it was you who destroyed the town then this is going to get ugly.” Replied Jim, further confusing the centaur.
Tirek was now more confused than before, why would discord try to fight him, knowing he had no power? And why use such a bizarre avatar? It did not take him too long to deduce that the one standing before him, was not the chaos god. Discord could sometimes be very childish, but he was definitely not stupid, he knew that going against the centaur like this, would just be suicidal. Curiosity taking hold of him, Tirek got a good look at the creature, noticing the unusual amount of magic emanating from him, godly power. He got closer.
“Who are you?”
“I´m Earthworm Jim, protector of the universe.” He replied, frown still in place.
Far from concerning Tirek, the presentation made him release a chuckle. “´Protector of the universe´?” He asked, before dismissing Jim with a wave from his hand. “Get out of here.” With that, he turned around to leave, until...
Whip!
Tirek felt something close to a whip hitting him, forcing the centaur to turn around and face the worm once again, who had just placed his head body inside the suit.
“I wont let you get away.”
Tirek frowned at this poor idiot. He was far to pleased by having acquired control over Equestria to let this bofoon make fun of him, it did not matter to him who he was, the centaur would not stand for this. Slowly getting closer to Jim, Tirek looked right at him.
It wasn´t long before the towering monster found himself face to face with the worm, then with one movement, he opened his mouth and prepared to absorb.
A thin smile was formed in Tirek´s features, but he never noticed Jim´s confused look.
“Seriously? You are going to start a staring contest right now?” Asked Jim, this time worrying the centaur, who noticed he wasn´t absorbing anything from this new creature. Jim managed to catch this change of confidence and smiled. “Here, let me help you with your sight!”
Faster than he could react, a fist collided against Tirek, who was instantly propelled away from Jim and into a nearby mountain. The worm stood still, waiting for the imminent movement, which soon did after a huge explosion and a powerful beam went straight to Jim.
The worm wasted no time and placed his arms together in front of him, as a blue shield was formed from them, blocking the blast incoming from the mountain. As the attack continued, Jim heard rocks moving and a heavy force making its way towards him, he began to calculate and prepared for a strike.
Finally breaking the spell, Jim noticed in time the flying centaur flying straight to him. Moments before a towering monster could hit him, the worm side stepped and kneed Tirek on the gut, then grabbed the back of his head and brought the huge centaur to the ground, colliding his face against rock. Taking a step behind, Jim brought his foot forwards and kicked Tirek, once more sending him a few feet away from the worm, this time, Jim did not stop.
Tirek prepared to get up, but he was tackled by the worm, who brought his fist into the centaur´s face. Left and right collided with force, preventing Tirek from getting a good look to avoid the attack.
After a few more punches, the centaur managed to get hold of Jim´s fist and used it to bring the worm to the ground. Not wasting the opportunity, he blasted him with as much power as he could muster, but soon he would be interrupted by a foot kicking him in the stomach.
As Tirek did his best to breath, an almost unscratched Jim quickly launched an uppercut at the centaur´s jaw, then used his head body to grab him mid-air and bring him back to the ground.
With a scream of rage, Tirek tackled the worm and went flying straight to a mountain, soon enough colliding against it with Jim up at front.
While the enormous rock was destroyed from the inside, both Tirek and Jim exchanged lefts and rights. Not long passed before Tirek felt tired with the fight, causing him to collect a huge amount of energy between his horns and blasted the worm from the inside of a mountain.
A white blur fell to the ground as the shadow of a horned being towered over Jim. Tirek once more charged up an attack and blasted into the floor, but this time before this new creature could have a moment to attack, the centaur brought himself down and into the ruble, later going out of the the dirt smoke with Jim in his arms.
Pinning the worm in the ground, Tirek opened his mouth once more and tried to absorb again... Still nothing. Tirek´s smile faded away, but it wasn´t because of his inability to get this power but the fact that Jim had been smiling the whole time and soon enough he would discover why.
Tirek noticed in surprise that Jim had managed to get his arms free and was preparing to launch a strike. Just before he could feel the punch, Tirek tried to block it, but the power fist never contacted against him.
The enormous centaur wide opened his eyes in surprise as soon as he noticed that both of Jim´s hands were missing, he was dumbfounded.
“Wait for it...” Tirek had no time to react and as soon as the words left Jim´s mouth, a blue blur collided against the centaur´s face, taking him away from Jim, who hurried himself to his feet and seemingly punched the air.
A pair of flying fists found their way to Tirek´s body and after a few blows, the centaur was starting to see blurry. However, he would not accept going down, not after he had finally taken control over Equestria and focused enough to send a blast towards Jim.
The worm saw the attack coming and dodged it, calling his fists back, then launched himself forward. Another attack was coming in fast, forcing Jim to raise his arm and deflect it with one fast wave from it, Tirek tried once more and as soon as it was about to hit the worm, he jumped in the air and attached his head body to the centaur´s arm, then used Tirek´s strength to bring himself down, landing a top of the beat up centaur.
A small crater was formed from the impact, once more filling the air with rock dust.
Tirek was hurt and downed, he didn´t know how. He had used strength, magic and everything in his power and while he had managed to defeat the princesses, a god and the Elements, here he found himself at the mercy of a giant talking worm.
He had felt it, his power, the magic that ran from that body, overwhelming yet it was not his to reclaim. Soon his thoughts were cut short by a pair of blue gloved hands, which pulled him up. It wasn´t long before Tirek found himself face to face with this smiling warrior. “H... How did you...”
“Oh please! Don´t start with the evil guy speech.” Jim rolled his eyes, instantly shutting Tirek up, then gave him a wide smile. “Want to end this in a more original way?” The centaur simply stared blankly at him, making Jim release a chuckle. “Thought so.”
Faster than the eye could see, Jim brought his fist against Tirek´s face, knocking the centaur out.
The worm dropped his enemy to the ground, dusting his hands of and placing them alongside his hips. He looked from the downed Tirek to the town in ruins, sighing at this. Yes, he had managed to defeat the centaur, but he had arrived too late, Jim only hoped the pegasus that took care of him was alright.
Maybe he could start searching for some kind of leader and explain what had just happened, start relationships with this planet´s leaders and find where the Heck he was.
Thankfully for him, his answers were about to arrive.
“Okay, Tirek, we´re...” A distant voice had caught the worm´s attention, who turned around to spot six ponies floating close to him, their manes were colorful and emanating with power.
Jim released an excited look at this and came quickly towards them. “Holy cow! Pony Saiyans!”
The Elements looked between each other, on a complete loss for words. They had just acquired the power from the box and were ready to defeat Tirek, but what they found was not the waiting foe, but a strange creature in a white suit, smiling at them and with a knocked out Tirek just a few feet away from him.
Jim did not erase the smile from his face while he met the newly arrived group. He had been analyzing the six ponies, until he noticed one he recognized. Getting closer to the yellow one, he released a gentle laugh. “You must be Fluttershy, I was eager to thank you for taking care of me while I was passed out.”
“Jim?” Asked the confused pegasus, releasing another chuckle from the worm.
“I´m Earthworm Jim, protector of the universe!” He finally said, confusing further the six mare, who were participating in a collective mane scratch.
“Protector of the universe?” Asked Twilight.
“Saiyans?” Replied Rainbow, with Rarity going next.
“Is that a worm?”
“Are you an alien?” Asked Pinkie, her face showing confusion and a hint of excitement.
“What in tarnation?” Okay, okay, you get the idea, they were on a complete loss for words.
It was hard to make up a decision, especially for Twilight; she had always used the mantra ´expect the unexpected´ but what was lying in front of them wasn´t only unexpected, it was bizarre. Trying to fight to barrage of questions that came to her mind, the purple alicorn placed a hoof on her template.
“Okay!” She called out, grabbing the worm´s attention. “What exactly is happening? Who are you? Why is Tirek knocked out?”
“Tirek?” Jim asked, placing one gloved hand under his chin, then turned around to spot the downed centaur. “Ooh! That is Tirek!” Realization hit him in that moment. “Well.. That´s usually what happens when you punch someone on the face really hard... Or at least when I punch them in the face really hard.”
Contrary to the worm´s chuckle, Twilight facehoofed at the response, then tried again. “What I meant, was: What exactly happened here? Why is Tirek sleeping on the floor, because I seriously doubt you actually fought him.”
Ignoring Twilight´s comment, Jim decided to answer the question. “I had just woken up, to find my buddy telling me a killer rabbit had stole my suit, then I went out of the house and caught up with him and as soon as I got control of it, I noticed the town and immediately knew something was bad, then when I turned around I saw Tirek admiring the view, making me assume it was he who destroyed this place.” He gave an heroic pose. “And I would never allow any place to fall in the hands of villainy, that´s why I confronted and defeated him, then you arrived and asked me ´What exactly happened here? Why is Tirek sleeping on the floor, because I seriously doubt you actually fought him.´ and I answered ´I had just woken up, to find...´”
“Wait!” Called out Twilight, scaring her friends in the process. “Are you seriously trying to make me believe you defeated...” She pointed towards the centaur. “Him!?”
Jim frowned, he simply did not like being called a fake. “I have no reason to lie, momma always told me to never tell lies.”
“What!?” Once more, Twilight exploded, now concerning the rest of the Elements. “He managed to defeat the princesses and us and then a giant worm comes dancing around and simply knocks him out cold!? KNOCKS HIM OUT COLD!?”
As a response, Jim simply gave her a nervous smile and shrugged. In an instant, Twilight screamed in fury, making Jim back away with a concerned look. “Ungroovy!”
Thankfully for the worm, Applejack stepped into the scene, placing a hoof on her friend´s chest. “Wow, easy there sugarcube! At least... Whoever he is, managed to stop that vermin!”
“But he couldn´t!” Replied Twilight. “There is no way something like him,” she pointed towards Jim, “could have stopped an all powerful centaur! He is just a giant worm!”
“I´m right here!” Replied Jim, but his words were completely ignored by the raging Twilight, who simply continued her argument with her friends.
Jim silently observed the scene, until he noticed on the corner of his eye an incoming yellow figure that he instantly recognized. Quickly turning around, Jim greeted Fluttershy with a friendly smile. The mare backed away upon detecting the worm´s sudden movement.
“Are they always like this?” Asked the grinning Jim, pointing with his thumb towards the group.
Fluttershy lowered her head. “Sometimes, there are occasions Twilight simply doesn´t expect and you certainly were kind of unexpected.” She replied, then wide opened her eyes, worried about her words. “Oh, I didn´t mean that in a bad way.”
Jim chuckled, the got on one knee. “Don´t worry, Fluttershy, I understand.”
With a nod, Fluttershy responded to Jim´s words, then she remembered something. “I uh... I thought you said Angel had grabbed your suit.” Jim nodded, smile still in place. “I hope he didn´t do anything to it, he can be so short minded at times.”
“He didn´t I grabbed him before he could do any more damage.” Jim noticed the sudden worried look on her face and proceeded to calm her down. “And don´t worry, I asked Snott to take him to your home, they should be safe inside.”
As soon as the words left the worm´s mouth, Fluttershy couldn´t help but to release a smile. Both of these guests were very kind and she held no regrets about helping them out, plus, if what Jim said was true, then she was more than glad to have had somepony... Or someworm like him around.
Soon enough, she felt comfortable around the worm and let herself loose a little. “Oh I´m sorry, I haven´t introduced myself properly.” She said, extending her hoof. “Nice to meet you, Jim, my name is Fluttershy.”
Jim got hold of her hoof and shook it carefully, nodding in response, then got up in time to spot the rest of the group walking towards him, with a still frowning Twilight up front. Soon the purple pegasus spoke.
“We´re going to take care of Tirek and once we finish cleaning up his mess, you and us are going to have a serious talk!”
Jim felt nervous. “Do you promise I will get out this with my members still attached?” He asked.
Twilight smiled. “No promises.”

Heck Hath No Fury Like An Angry Cat Who Lost His Prey
“What do you mean by ´he never came out´?” Deep inside the deeps of Heck, a powerful voice resounded with its thunderous echo across the planet´s landscapes. Its red surface and eternal lava pits, coupled with the diverse and wicked landscape did nothing to hide Evil´s anger.
The supposed to be grave for Earthworm Jim, never got its hands on the prized pray, thing that irritated Heck´s lord to no end and it showed as the shadows he spoke to, dared not make a move until the rant was finished.
Evil was breathing heavily, trying to regain composure. One moment he was savoring his victory, another he was talking to a bunch of incompetent lawyers that had failed a single task given to him.
Finally, after a few breaths, Evil calmed himself. “What happened?”
From the several lawyers and shadow demons cowering after Evil, each one of them looked between them, searching for one brave enough to speak, finally, one of the well suited horned demons, gave one step up front. “Something changed his course.”
Evil placed his paw under his chin. “Weird, no objects can enter the void without a magical door being opened.” His eyes were once again directed towards the lawyer. “Say, what was the thing that changed the worm´s course.”
The lawyer began to sweat cold, an amazing achievement, considering the high temperature provided by the numerous lava pits and volcanoes. The demon gulped, then released a sheepish smile, as he got ready to answer his master. “A...a cow?”
“A COW?!” Towers of fire and lava raised from the floor, signaling Evil´s anger and causing the several demons back away from him. The one who spoke, however, was too scared to evn move and did his best to look at his master, who now had regained visual contact with him. “You mean to tell me, a cow, somehow managed to enter the void and, somehow managed to save him before my highly powerful demons could get a hold of him?”
The demon lawyer stared blankly at him for a few seconds, before finally,, he managed to respond by a nod from his head.
“Idiot!” In a second and much to the surprise of the rest, the demon was surrounded by flames, which consumed the being until nothing was left.
The screams that went out of the fire were enough to stop the hearts of the demons, who now found themselves unable to move. After a few more seconds, silence assaulted the group, their comrade was gone and their angry master seemed to be in a berserk state, ready to finish them all, thankfully for them, Evil knew how to recover his tranquility after a fury outburst.
The cat gave a few deep breaths before he directed his next words towards the group. “Any of you knows where he went?”
Exasperation was quite a short word to describe what Evil was feeling, as he witnessed his minions staring at him blankly, not knowing Jim´s whereabouts. After a few seconds of hoping one would have an answer for him, the cat finally gave up.
Sighing in desperation, Evil placed his paw under his forehead, taking a deep breath after, then with an almost lamenting voice, he spoke. “Oh dear, what else can the universe throw at me?”
“Umm... Master?” One of the demons spoke, gaining a hopeful look from Evil. “If the worm is in another place, aren´t we free from him?”
Evil the cat got his sight fixated on the demon, causing the rest surrounding him to back away, leaving their comrade in the middle.
The lawyer was starting to feel uneasy and did his best to maintain the stare. For Evil, this was one of those moments where he certainly didn´t what to say; there would always be an idiot giving a ´brilliant´ idea.
The cat had chosen his words and proceeded to approach the demon, forcing a smile on his face. “Why? Why didn´t I think of that? It sure is a good idea, don´t you all think?” Evil directed his paws towards the rest of the group, who remained silent at the scene. The demon that spoke was frozen, waiting for the cat´s reaction, who was now in front of him.
“Interesting idea!” He began. “If the worm is gone, then he won´t be a problem to me anymore, correct?”
The demon gave a sheepish smile and noded with his head, making Evil chuckle in response, then used his paw to force the lawyer to his level and warped his arm around the demon´s shoulders. “Although, there is one inconvenience.” The lawyer began to sweat slightly. “You see, when someone bothers you, he becomes a problem and when you get rid of that problem but you do not end him, the problem may come back, now tell me.” The demon´s heart began to race. “Is Earthworm Jim, dead?”
Trying to control the shivers, the lawyer did his best to answer. “N... No?”
In a moment, Evil let go of both his smile and the demon, only to grab his face with his claws, he now had lost his cool. “Of course not! And that means he will still be a problem to me as long as he exists!” Slowly, Evil tightened his grip on the demon´s face, who did his best to escape, but the cat had him held tightly. For something as small as him, Evil was quite strong and powerful, something that petrified the rest of the demon group. After a few seconds, the cat calmed his breathing and opened his mouth to speak again in a friendlier manner. “Now, let me ask you one more question.” The demon did not answer, making Evil´s frown appear full force again. The lawyer was on his last legs, something he wasn´t the only one aware of; this thought made him almost loose himself in desperation, as he felt his heart racing. Finally, Evil spoke. “Do you know who else is a problem?” The demon shook his head as much as he could, then fire appeared on the cat´s eyes. “...You!”
As soon as the words escaped his mouth, the demon was covered in flames, living the same fate as the other lawyer.
Same as before, the screamings where soon gone, followed by silence. On his part, Evil dropped the ashed that had remained in his paw, to the floor, then directed his sight towards the other demons. “Something else I need to know?” They all shook their heads in response. “Another...idiotic suggestion?” Same as before, the demons shook their heads, this time gaining a nod from Evil in response. “Good!” With that, he turned around, but before leaving, Evil gave one more command. “Clean this mess!”
Like sheeps, demons followed almost immediately the cat´s commands, who had taken the opportunity to direct his steps towards the throne.
After finally having sat on the seat, Evil sighed. “This day can´t get any worse.” It had been a tough day for him, not many time had he managed to get Jim where he wanted and now that he had, the worm, somehow, managed to escape him. Normally, he wouldn´t care much about other mortals, for his power went beyond them, but Jim? Oh! Jim was special and he deserved Evil´s wrath.
Setting this thought s aside, the Cat tried to be optimistic and expect things to go better, sadly for him, a huge, purple insectican ship entered the atmosphere.
Inside a house, a certain dog sat on the couch while eating popcorn. He wasn´t watching a T V show, he wasn´t watching a movie, he was watching two women fight.
A small struggle had erupted between the two alien women, resulting in an instantaneous brawl match, to which Peter was obviously enjoying the Heck out.
He had been originally worried about Jim´s disappearance. The thought of loosing his best friend, the one being that knew him more, was simply a something he could not tolerate, something that would never let him sleep again, should the worm truly vanished forever... But somehow to women figting had caught his full attention.
“Fat butt!” Yelled Bonikka, further infuriating What´s her name, who had her in in a head block.
“Repeat that, you slob!” The princess replied, still firmly holding the queen who had only managed to grunt, trying to get away from What´s-her-name´s strong grasp. “Sorry, I can´t seem to hear you, care to repeat that?” Once more, Bonikka did her best to speak, but same as before, was unable to.
Finally after a few struggles, Bonikka managed to get a window of opportunity and freed her mouth from the princess´ arms. “Let go of me, its enough!
Now tired of this scene, What´s-her-name released Bonikka, who made an effort to not fall to the floor. After dusting off herself, the queen looked straight at the still frowning princess. “I don´t get why Peter asked for your help, you are only going to slow us down!”
“Are you seriously telling me that I will hold you back? If Jim hadn´t gone to save your skinny behind, none of this would have happened!” She chuckled. “Talking about being useless!”
“At least my family loves me!” Bonikka backfired, instantly gaining a furious look from What´s-her-name, who gave her a kill look.
“What did you say?” She asked, getting closer to the queen, who found herself backing away.
Fortunately for Bonikka, Peter had just figured this was the time to avoid any further confrontation and decided to step in.
“Can you two stop fighting?” He said, setting himself between the two. What´s-her-name stopped her advancement. “Aren´t we going to look for Jim?”
“We would be doing that right now if this beanpole wasn´t around to make things harder.” Replied the princess, not taking her sight from Bonikka, who rolled her eyes in response.
“And what are you going to do? Simply teleport yourself and enjoy Heck´s ride? I have an army ready to back us up in our search for Jim.”
“Pff!” Replied What´s-her-name, who crossed her arms, as she relaxed herself. “I don´t an army to kick Evil´s butt, I can take care of myself and I´m sure as Heck Peter does as well!”
Bonikka shook her head, not believing the princess´ over confidence. “One does not simply walk into Heck.”
“Not if the one walking is you.” Replied What´s-her-name, making Bonikka give one step further, ready to continue the argument.
Fortunately, Peter stepped in again. “Just stop it! We need to search for Jim!” He turned to look at What´s-her-name. “And I´m sorry princess, but the queen is right, I´ve been to Heck and it is no fun, well... At least it is when watching it on a tv documentary.”
What´s-her-name silently looked from Peter to Bonikka, thinking about this. True, she can take care of herself, but Bonikka was right regarding Heck. The princess had never fought Evil before and his home planet was famous for being an ´avoid-at-all-costs´ place, besides, going in with an army would sped things up and they would retrieve Jim in no time.
Finally taking her decision, she sighed. “Alright, but I want her away from me all the journey!”
“Believe me when I say I would prefer sit on a cactus than to spend more than five minutes with you.” Replied Bonikka, making the princess roll her eyes, then turned to look at a now calm Peter. “We need to hurry if we want to avoid wasting more time.”
With a nod from his head, the three head out from the house and into the spaceship waiting for them outside. Around the home, multiple people were watching the scene. It wasn´t necessarily new for them but it was interesting anyways.
Bonikka couldn´t help but to think about the journey ahead, which seemed to be getting more difficult by the moment, but they would at least soon, get to Heck and help their friend.
The skies roared with fury, thunders collided against the trees and this were not machinations by the weather team. It seemed as if the sky was tearing itself apart, yet nopony noticed this weird occurrence.
Several meters away from this rupture, Rainbow found herself on sleeping duty without a care in the world... Or at least the care she could feel while being asleep. The mare had a strong sleep, yet, this depended on where she took a nap.
Two of her favorite spots where the clouds or the Apple´s acres, still, anyplace was a good place to loose yourself in lazy town.
Deal, Rainbow was very athletic and a sports mere, but that gave her more reason to enjoy some tranquility time.
“WHOA, NELLY!” A falling figure could be heard falling from the sudden rift on the sky and Rainbow... Did not wake up.
Like a striking comet, Earthworm Jim came falling, but not in a vertical way though. A flying worm passed across sweet apple acres and flew across the east orchards. If he wasn´t in a doom peril, Jim would have enjoyed the sight...
“Is that a gingerbread house? GROOVY!”
...Ok, he WAS enjoying the sight. Maybe if he wasn´t, he would realize he was just about to crash against the floor.
“Uh?”

CRASH!
... Nevermind.
Black, everything faded to black, as Jim had hit his head with a rock, breaking it in two pieces. As the unconscious worm remained on the ground, the sound of hooves could be heard trotting his way. His dramatic entrance had alerted somepony living close to the Everfree forest.
“Oh my!” The mystic forest guarded several weird and unknown creatures, yet nothing was even remotely similar to the creature lying on the ground just in front of Fluttershy, who remained silent as she tried to get a good look of the creature. Behind her, Angel was looking at the scene with skepticism and caution, just in case he had to protect her.
For Fluttershy, it didn´t look evil or even dangerous like most of the animals inside the forest; this one must have escaped the Everfree and barely made it out.
Fluttershy reacted by giving one step towards Jim, slowly gaining confidence. She took a look at what she assumed was the torso, when suddenly she released a loud gasp. “It isn´t breathing!” Forgetting her fears, the normally shy mare trotted closer to the unconscious figure, Angel going behind her. Once close, the pegasus quickly placed on ear close to the worm´s mouth to confirm her observation and she was surprised to find out that he was actually breathing.
Fluttershy found herself confused about this and placed her hooves over Jim´s chest... Then she got a big surprise when she tried to push.
The muscular chest did not move and it felt like touching metal, was the rest of the weird body like that? As Angel climbed the worm to inspect the head, Fluttershy took it upon herself to touch the rest of the body and much to her surprise, it all felt the same, like a very tough material.
Placing one hand on her chin, the mare began to think about this bizarre occurrence. Maybe it was some kind of armor, soon her thoughts were short cut by the calling noises coming from the white rabbit, who pointed at the section between Jim´s head and the yellow collar of the suit´s neck.
Quickly, Fluttershy inspected whatever had alarmed Angel and as soon as she noticed it, the pegasus released an almost mute. “Uh?”
Gently grabbing Jim´s head, Fluttershy began to pull, taking herself a huge surprise when the whole worm´s body came out.
The pegasus took quick peeks between the organic body and what she assumed to be some kind of magical armor. She would not be surprised if it was, this kind of wearings were quite common amongst soldiers, but Jim´s seemed a little bit more radical, as it didn´t seem to be built to protect the ´head´, but rather function as a second body.
Another question lingering on Fluttershy´s mind was what kind of material it was made of, could it be something as tough as metal? Or maybe another kind of material, regardless of this questions, the most important thin now was to discover what happened to the small creature in Fluttershy´s hooves.
Angel took the opportunity to slip himself towards the suit, there, he saw the dark entrance; it was weird, as if it was calling him to enter the black hole of happiness. As the seconds passed, a wicked smile was starting to form in Angel´s mouth, as he slowly began to walk towards the suit. The small bunny was only a few steps away from it and was about to enter until...
“Angel, do not touch that thing, it´s not yours.” The small rabbit grunted in response, a big frown appearing on his face. Fluttershy got closer, carrying Jim on hi back. “We need to get it inside, it got a very nasty blow to the head, I fear the injury could be bad.” After the word left her mouth, Fluttershy precipitated to enter her cottage, Angel behind her, who occasionally took a peek behind him to stare at the suit.
The door of the big place was opened quickly, giving entrance to a hurried yellow pegasus and a rather mad bunny. Not wasting any moment, Fluttershy tossed Jim to the couch, then went to grab a blanket and placed it on top of the worm. As soon as Jim was settled, Fluttershy turned to stare at the bunny.
“I´ll be right back, Angel, look out for him until I go get his suit.” Angel rolled his eyes and gave a mock salute to the pegasus as she went out of the cottage.
Once alone, Angel proceeded to climb up the cough and analyze their newest guest. It was weird to say the least.
His small paw grabbed one of Jim´s eyelids and looked at his eye, immediately taking notice of the green iris. This wouldn´t exactly be weird if it wasn´t for the fact that Jim´s left eye didn´t have iris. Before Angle could give it any thought, Fluttershy entered, carrying the heavy suit using all of her strength.
Fluttershy struggled with the armor, dragging it in front of the couch and finally letting it go. The shy mare gave a deep breath, then ran a hoof across her forehead. “That sure was heavy, Angel.” Slowly, walking towards Jim, she took a look at him. “I wonder what happened to the poor thing.”
Suddenly, a sound caught the attention of Fluttershy, who turned to see what was happening and to her surprise, it was Jim´s suit, or rather what looked like a back back on its back.
Fluttershy approached the moving backpack carefully, then raised her hoof to open it, when suddenly something got out.
A green blur went out of the back pack with such speed, that Fluttershy was left confused, as well as startled; Angel, however, gave a small jump and placed himself in combat position while showing his teeth.
The blur went from the desk, to the couch, hiding himself from the pegasus and the rabbit, who, just before he could jump to the attack, Fluttershy placed a hoof in front of him, signaling for him to wait, then directed her steps towards the couch where Jim was sleeping. “Um, hello?” The mare asked, her voice low and peaceful to avoid scaring whatever was under the sofa. “Come out little friend, we are not going to hurt you.”
Slowly, a green... Thing could be seen going out of its hiding. A small green creature with huge eyes was staring at her, fear clearly shown in its eyes. Fluttershy was rather confuse, two strange creatures in one package, seemingly coming out of the Everfree and yet, they did not seem dangerous. Fluttershy was on a loss for words, as she took a good look at the goo covered creature. Letting out a smile, she insisted again. “Come here, buddy, you are safe.”
Snott was indecisive, he didn´t know whether to get close or run. The yellow pegasus seemed nice, but the bunny was giving him an ´I´m going to beat you´ signal with his hands.
Snott weighed his possibilities and after a few seconds, he gave one step to the front, then another and another until he was within reach of the smiling Fluttershy, who extended her hoof and waited for Snott to allow her pet him.
Finally letting out a smile, Snott stuck out his tongue in a playful manner and rubbed his head against Fluttershy´s hooves, who found herself chuckling in return. “See Angel? I knew he wasn´t dangerous.”
Snott positioned himself himself face up, letting the pegasus rub his belly. “What is your name,little friend?”
The playful creature gave a few seemingly unclear sounds with his mouth and while Angel was left scratching his head, Fluttershy was nodding. “Welcome to my house, Snott, you can stay here as long as you like.” Snott smiled and licked Fluttershy in the face, who gave a chuckle in response.
The shy mare would never let an animal suffer, it didn´t even matter what kind of creatures they were and Snott was no different.
“Talking about animals.” Fluttershy suddenly remembered the other guest inside the cottage. Snott came out of the Jim´s back pack, meaning there could be a chance of Snott knowing him, she didn´t hesitate to ask. “Excuse me, Snott.” The goo creature turned to look at her, the smile never leaving his face. “Is he your friend?” Fluttershy pointed with her hoof towards Jim, with Snott following her lead.
Snott let out a lud gasp as soon as he got sight of the worm and instantly ran up to the couch, climbing it and settling himself in front of Jim. Snott let out a sad expression, fearing for the safety of his friend. This was all the answer Fluttershy needed.
“I figured as much.” Snott turned to look at her with pleading eyes, to which the pegasus responded with a confident smile. “Don´t worry Snott, his injury is not that bad and he only needs to rest.” The goo creature´s face fell further, causing Fluttershy to pat his head. “I promise I will take care of your friend until he wakes up.” Snott gave a nod with his head. “Can you tell me his name?” Snott turned to face Fluttershy and gave more weird sounds, Fluttershy smiled. “Jim, uh?”
For a few seconds, the mare´s sight remained fixed on the worm, when once more, her mouth opened. “What happened to you two?” Sadly, this time Snott simply shrugged.
Fluttershy was a bit disappointed about the lack of information about them, but decided to shrug it of for now. “I guess I will ask your friend once he wakes up.” Snott turned to look at Jim, until the voice of a certain pegasus caught his attention. “Are you hungry, Snott?” In an instant, the mucus creature´s face released a big smile, as his tongue went out of his mouth, saliva forming inside while he vigorously nodded with his head. Fluttershy chuckled.
“Good to know, Snott, follow me I was about to prepare some food, then I could introduce you to the rest of the animals.” Snott gave out a worried look. “Don´t worry Snott, they are friendly, like him.” She pointed towards the bunny, who had a frown on his face. “Right Angel?” The bunny grunted in response and crossed his arms, causing Fluttershy to frown. “Now, Angel Bunny, don´t be rude.”
Finally, the bunny sighed and gave a quick wave with his paw. Snott simply replied with a huge smile and a rather lively wave, a gesture that made Fluttershy smile, before she proceeded to the kitchen.
As the pegasus and Snott went away, Angel looked at the goo creature with a frown, he didn´t like Snott and not because he was evil, he was simply smelling... Rivalry. In a moment, his belly began to tremble, Angel was hungry as well, forcing him to head to the kitchen, but before he entered the place, the bunny took a look at the suit behind him. Shrugging the feeling, he proceeded to the kitchen.
Outskirts of planet Heck
Above the red planet, an enormous white ship prepared itself to cover the blood skies. Aboard it, Peter, What´s-her-name and Bonikka, found themselves inside the ship´s immense dinning room.
Both queen and princess avoided each other´s presence and stare as much as they could, trying to at least be at peace. Peter, however, was full-concentration mode eating his dish.
It was glorious to say the least, the juice, the flavor, the texture, a true delicacy. Out of the corner of his eye, Bonikka looked at Peter, releasing a small chuckle, as she saw the puppy devouring his food; her sight was then directed towards the princess, who remained silent, her hand under her chin and deep in thought. Bonikka frowned, she really didn´t like her, but at least they were not fighting, in the end, this was all for Jim. Bonikka was at least surprised What´s-her-name agreed on this journey, at least she wasn´t complete heartless.
Averting her thoughts from the duo, Bonikka concentrated on the task ahead and she was worried. If Evil had indeed teleported Jim , then it was more likely that he was sent towards Heck, where the cat could finish him and if this was true, then Jim could be in real danger, if not... She was more than sure she would take the information out of Evil. In her mind, her sole purpose, was to save her friend.
The silence between both the queen and princess, coupled with Peter´s munching, was interrupted by the door of the big white dinning room, opening, giving way for another figure. A tall Endorian male, whose pastel green skin was most covered by his royal-like blue uniform; a pair of golden shoulder pads and multiple medals were shown in the vest. His membranic hair was short and the same color as his skin. The features on his face were rougher and noticeable on his almost square chin.
In an instant, Bonikka turned to greet the new companion. “Admiral Dalus.”
He bowed with his head and smile. “You majesty, we are about to arrive planet Heck, I have the troops ready to enter its atmosphere and search for the worm, another group of soldiers will be escorting you and our guests throughout the surface.”
Bonikka smiled. “Thank you, admiral.”
“With all due respect mistress, but isn´t this a little risky for you?” Bonikka raised an eyebrow at Dalus´ statement. “This isn´t a simple planet, this is Heck.”
Bonikka opened her mouth to object, when...
“I would listen if I were you, Bonikka.” What´s-her-name interrupted. “We don´t want a weakling like you breaking her nails and aborting the entire mission.” Upon hearing this, the queen shot daggers at the princess, who simply shrugged in response. “Just saying.”
Bonikka released a loud sigh and returned her sight to the already nervous Dalus. “Worry not ,admiral, I want to do this, besides, if something happens,” she turned to look at the princess, “at least I have friends that will miss me.”
What´s-her-name rolled her eyes and shrugged the comment off, something that calmed Dalus, who was expecting the two of them to fight. She would not let Bonikka risk herself, and he would protect her even against the princess, but What´s-her-name´s strenght was something to be feared and the more he could avoid confrontation, the better. Finally returning to the matter at hand, he nodded at the queen´s orders, although he was concerned about her decision. “very well, you majesty.”
Bonikka nodded, leaving Dalus to leave the kitchen, but instead of stepping out, he noticed Peter, who was still eating regardless of the the two royalties butting heads. He was really enjoying his food.
Getting closer to the puppy, Dalus scratched his head. “You really have huge appetite.”
“You kidding?” Peter answered. “This is great!”
Dalus couldn´t help but to chuckle at this. “Glad you are enjoying it.”
“Say.” Said Peter, as he finished swallowing another chunk of the delicacy. “What is this anyways?”
“It´s a typical dish in Endos.” Peter looked at him, curiosity assaulting him. “Made from the heart, lungs and liver of an earthling sheep and boiled in its own stomach.”
Peter´s happiness would not last, as soon as the words left Dalus´ mouth, the puppy´s face went completely blank. A horrible déjà vu assaulted the puppy, whose face began to get a sick coloration of green. Dalus, who was watching the scene, grew concerned about Peter´s sudden change and was about to ask what had happen, until...
“Why! WHY!” Peter screamed at the top of his lungs, while raising his hands to the air, lamenting his existence, then, with another scream which caught the attention of What´s-her-name and Bonikka, the puppy stood up from his chair and went full on speed towards the closest bathroom, leaving a confused Dalus behind.
“Um... What?”
“Peter hates haggies,” answered Whet´s-her-name, “even if it has another name.”
Dalus turned to look at the princess. “Is he going to be okay?”
“Yeah, Peter has a strong stomach.”
Not long after, huge cries of pain could be heard coming out of thee bathroom. “Oh! The pain! The horrible, horrible pain!”
Dalus raised a finger. “Um... I...”
“Death sounds so good right about now!” After several more cries, the admiral and Bonikka remained staring blankly at the small horror room, with only What´s-her-name remaining as stoic as ever.
Finally, Dalus recovered his voice and directed his gaze towards Bonikka. “Ten minutes to arrive and ten more minutes to set the ships on the ground.”
“Yeah! Thank you, Dalus.” Answered the queen, who had just recovered from the bizarre sight.
With that, the admiral turned to leave the room, but just before he touched the door, his head was directed once more towards the two royalties. “You should really check on Peter.”
Bonikka smiled. “Will do, admiral.” Dalus nodded with his head, then went out of the room, leaving the queen and the princess alone once more.
Not wanting to remain so close to What´s-her-name, Bonikka stood up from her place adn walked towards one of the windows, which gave sight to the monstrosity that was planet Heck.
There were many rumors and myths across the universe referring to the nature of the feared place. Some thought it was simply a very scary looking place, others thought it was the realm of the afterlife for bad folks and there were others that thought it was the gate to another realm entirely. For Bonikka, it was simply an obstacle...a very frightening and terrifying obstacle.
She wasn´t too sure about this mission and she sometimes had second thoughts about risking her life for someone, but then again, that someone was Jim and the universe needed that idiot worm. Bonikka chuckled at her thoughts, remembering the times where she and Jim talked. With a shake from her head, Bonikka regained her senses and got ready for the small journey into Heck.
