The Studies of the Aniomorphic Spell. This would be a good read, even it was by a seemingly silly pen name, being A. Nonie Mouse. She cracked open the cover for the first time. As she read on and on, she slowly became entranced with the words of the secretive pony who called themselves Alexander Nonie Mouse, which even had a silly foal name in there. No matter the quality of the writing, she would always be entranced. She was so into Bookland that she didn't notice the bell ringing. When she did, she subconsciously opened up the door with a simple spell and shouted “Come in!” She heard hoofsteps and a quiet, constant muttering. “Ah, quite the charming little place, and oh, the sun on the ceiling is a nice touch, and not a bad selection at all, I do have to say” and other nonsense. She shut her book and carried it with her, slowly floating on a cushion of air. She climbed down the stairs and saw quite the familiar guest standing in the middle of her library. There was a brownish unicorn with a neatly combed blond mane, but with a loose hanging mane. He wore glasses and had a full saddlebag resting on his shoulders, which looked like that could barely support a single book, let alone a a chock-full saddlebag. She instantly recognized him. It seemed as if he did too. As he saw her, his face grew extremely red, and he started sweating at an abnormal rate. She spoke first, so as not to let him say something awkward like he usually did. “Oh hi, Liam What brings you here?” He jolted slightly and twisted his hoof a little. Just wanted to uh...” (He quickly glanced around)     “ ...see the library!” He flashed a weak grin and made a big show of checking his battered hoofwatch. “Oh dear! The uh.. appontment! Have to go! Bye!” He quickly almost galloped away and tripped with a terrific *CRASH!*. Twilight winced. Ouch. He got up, leaving behind the spectacles and a few pices of parchment. He trotted out the door. Twilight grimaced Always so awkward. She picked up the pieces and slowly read a shorthand note.     Possible names for book:     1. En Mapen     2. Wry Tyr     3. A Nonie Mouse     4.  S. C. Ribe Number 3 was circled. She shuffled to the next note:     Dear Liam, Please stop by the Library in Ponyville and borrow a copy of “The Royal Lines of the Puddinghead Family”.Also, please ask  at Sweet Apple Acres for a baker's dozen of  apple turnovers . Included is the money needed.                                     Thankfully, Princess Celestia Interesting. So the old colt was A. Nonie Mouse? Clever name. She would keep that in mind. She herself wrote a note:     Here is the book you came for. Please be more careful when it comes to  Spike’s basket. That looked like a mighty fall.                                 Twi She neatly organized all the things he had dropped plus the book and her note. She magiced them to the front doorstep and peeked out. She heard panting over near Bonbon’s place. She rolled her eyes and went back in. Several seconds later, a small clack was heard. On the doormat she saw a tiny note. Thank You She sighed and went upstairs. Sometimes this pony was ridiculous. As if she didn’t know he had a crush on her. It was, after all, obvious. //-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight Wakes Up //-------------------------------------------------------// Twilight Wakes Up Beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep.... Twilight woke to the repetitive yet comforting sound of a heart monitor. She sat for several minutes listening to the quiet s ound, and almost drifted off when she thought, Wait, a heart monitor? She opened her eyes and saw a white room with a concerned looking doctor looking at her. Then, the events of yesterday crashed down on her. She remembered how she had tried to stop it, and had just been pulled in. She saw another, brown, pony in the room. She  decided to ignore him and pretend she was asleep. But, he noticed her flicking eyes scanning the room, and walked forward. “Are you okay? You seem to be a nasty shade of yellow.” Twilight was surprised. This wasn't like Liam. Normally, he would be stuttering and try to get away. She spoke in a voice that sounded frighteningly like nails scratching across a chalkboard. Out croaked “I'm fine”. Then, she cleared her throat. “What brings you here? I haven't seen you in over a year ever since you, uh,  visited!” That was better. His face tinged a bit red. Well, maybe he had gotten over it. He spoke in what she presumed was his normal, nervousness-free voice. “Well, the Princess sent me to make sure there any hard feelings between you girls.” Twilight knew then and there he was lying about something. Maybe he just had gotten better at hiding it. The considerate side then spoke up. ‘You staying anywhere?” She already knew the answer. “No, sadly. I'm leaving later today.” Then, she said something that she never thought she would say. Go ahead and stay with me! Come on, lets meet my friends.” Then, she saw him sweating. Oops. This would be hard for him. She saw his face screaming ‘Oh no....”  Well, she would turn it over when he met her friends. She got up and said, “Come on. I’ll tell you where to find my friends.”     After Twilight ushered him out and she signed out, she took a walk.  She remembered what the fight was about. Applejack had accused them of....what was it? She couldn't remember it at all... she hoped that Liam wouldn’t make a fool in front of her friends, especially since the wounds of the fight were still fresh. She turned over the memories she had with Liam. The recent events had already rocked her world, but the sudden arrival of the skinny, bespectacled pony had made it lose its balance, and the fact that he would have to quickly make up a huge schism while making 5 friends at once, and the fact he would get stuck in it and probably exhaust himself broke its nose with worry. She walked down into the heart of town. She saw a brownish-black stain on the gravel. Blood. She shivered. It seemed that this scuffle would be haunting her for a little while. She hoped he would succeed at what he had come to do. He was as socially awkward as they come. A memory pushed itself up into her mind. She let herself remnicise back to the old days, the old days back in Canterlot, before he moved to that awfully foggy city on the west coast of Equestria, San Franciscolt. ********** As she walked into the tower, the young colt bounded in, holding a book that looked much to heavy for him to hold. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: From Apples they Came //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: From Apples they Came Chapter 1 As Princess Celestia lie down in her ornate room, she wondered when if the letter from Twilight would come Nothing else was happening, anyway, and she didn’t feel like a quick siesta. After all, who knows, maybe there would be something important happening! As he put her head on her pillow, one of the guard burst in. “Ma’am, a disaster in Ponyville, and it seems that its urgent. Celestia gasped a little, and immediately left, even without her guards. As she swooped down from Canterlot, she could only hope that this would not end in anypony getting hurt. She strained her wings, and decided to use her teleport magic, which was a bit of a challenge while in flight. She slowly glowed, and with a loud crack, was soon circling down above Ponyville, which seemed normal at first glance. Then, she saw, in the middle of town, a large fight going on, circled by the shocked faces of the residents of Ponyville. A blue shape darted around shouting indistinct words, such as “...on, girls, this is a trivial...honestly...” Then, a pair of orange legs shot out and a purple form flew out of the circle. Then, she did something unlike her. When she stopped the violence she said in a stern voice;  “ What the hay is going on, and why is Twilight hurt?” Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, even Fluttershy all spoke at the same time. She sighed and said decisively said, “I will be sending in help.”     Then, she walked over to Twilight. She knew she would be fine. A little supervision, perhaps. Then, she would be expecting a rather important letter from a couple of her little ponies. She took off towards canterlot, and vanished in the dusk to take care of the sun. As for the circle of ponies who had gathered, they dispersed. The fighting ponies walked away in a huff. The unconscious form of Twilight was slowly dragged, dragged, onto a stretcher, which was slowly, slowly taken to the hospital. The town square was again quiet and back to normal, except for a red liquid glistening in the early morning sun.
