The Doctor does Ponyville

by neorenamon

So the Doctor, Romana, Pinkie and Dash made their way into Ponyville.  They drew some looks from passing ponies as the Doctor was holding Dash's hand while Pinkie Pie was holding Romana's.

"Well this looks like a nice town," commented the Doctor, "Is there much..."

Just then, a Pegasus crashed into a tree between two buildings, and slid to the ground on her rump.  They rushed to her side as the Doctor asked, "Are you alright?"

"I just don't know what went wrong," she replied.

The Doctor looked her over.  She was about the same size as Dash and Pinkie.  Her hide and wings were a silverish hue, but her mane and tail were a golden blonde color.  While her chest seemed normal for mares he had seen so far, her booty seemed to be fairly large for her size.  She was wearing the uniform of a mailmare that was about the same color as her hide.  It had a tight fitting shirt tied off just under her bosom, darker blue shorts that stopped just above her knees flared open, a lighter blue sun helmet, and a dark brown mail bag slung over her shoulder.  Her legs were shod with dark blue open-toed sneakers.

"There's something wrong with her eyes," he observed as he looked at her golden eyes.

"There is?" she asked.

Dash leaned closer and said, "She has a lazy eye.  Perfectly normal for her."

"Ah," he replied, "Vertical Strabismus."

"No, just lazy eye."

Derpy blinked as the Doctor felt her head for lumps as he said, "I better check her for concussions."

"Nah.  My mare Derpy is unbreakable."

"I'm old enough to know no one is unbreakable," he replied, "but I don't see any signs of bruising.  You should see the town doctor when you have the chance, just to be safe."

"But you're the Doctor," she replied.

"Of Science," he replied, "I only have lesser degrees in Medicine."

She looked into his eyes and blushed, saying, "Well... I gotta deliver the mail first... Better get moving."

He helped her stand as she went on her way.

"She seems like a good natured cheerful mare," he said with a broad smile.

"You'd do her," said Dash under her breath.

If the Doctor heard, he didn't comment.

"He let one get away," muttered Romana under her breath.

"Why don't we stop by the Sugarcube Corner for a bite to eat?" asked Pinkie.

"We don't have local currency..;" replied Romana.

"Oh, you don't need that," she giggled, "Just a few bits."

She groaned as she answered, "We don't have any bits."

"Would you take gummy babies?" asked the Doctor.

"I would," she replied, "and it's lucky I both work there and I'm related to the Cakes who own the place."

"You don't mind?"

"That's what friends do."

He smiled once more.  So they walked into the little bakery.

"I have some new customers," said Pinkie as she smiled at Mrs. Cake.

"Well it's nice to meet..." she replied from behind the counter.

"I'm the Doctor," he said, "and this is my companion, Romana."

"Take as much time to order as you like," she replied, "I'll be glad to answer any questions."

But the Doctor was looking at the long dark blue mane of a pony sitting with her back to him in the corner as he asked, "Who might she be?"

"That's Miss Rarity," she replied, "She's taking a break from the custom dresses she's been working on for Sapphire Shores."

"A tailor?"

"Oh, she's quite the tailor and designer," she answered, "She's had her dresses featured at the Grand Galloping Gala as well as the wedding of Shining Armor and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza."

"So she's going places?"

"I think she is."

"Honey," said a stallion's voice from the kitchen, "Miss Rarity's order is up."

"Thanks snooky-wookums," she replied as she turned to fetch a plate of muffins that smelled of Butterscotch.  As she turned, the tray glowed as it floated from her hands.  "Doctor?!" she asked.

"I'd like to deliver these," he said with a grin.

"Well..." she replied nervously as he walked away, "Alright."

As he walked over, he got a better look at Miss Rarity.  She had the largest bosom he had seen since he arrived in Equestria as well as the best kept mane.  It seemed that not a single hair was out of place as it spilled down her back.  In fact, he could barely tell where her mane ended and her tail began.  She was wearing a long sleeved white summer dress with a layered skirt that came down just above her knees.  He noticed how the puffy shoulders offset the plunging neckline that showed off the gentle swells of her contained breasts.  Her legs were clad with blue silk stockings, and her hooves were covered by midnight black open-toed high heel fake leather shoes that were quite expensive and shiny.  There was a gold chain about her neck with three small diamonds cut into a variation of the Marquee cut.

"Ah," she said, "That didn't take very long dahling.  I'm sure that... uh..."  Her voice trailed off as she looked at the Doctor.

"Hello there," he answered, "I'm the Doctor.  It's nice to meet you.  I hear you're a really good tailor."

"That's an interesting combination of Earth tones," she replied as she looked him over.

He set the muffins and their plate from the tray in front of her as he sat down across from her.  Then the tray floated back over to the counter where Mrs. Cake retrieved it.

"So you like my clothes?" he asked.

"Well," she replied, "It definitely needs a little tailoring.  I don't think it fits you very well.  Are those hand me downs?"

"That's one way to put it," he said as he smiled.

"Why don't you come to my shop after I'm done," she answered, "and I'll see what I can do."

"I have no bits..."

"Oh, don't worry about that," she replied.

"Generous to a fault," he answered as she nodded.

"Well, I am the Element of Generosity."

"I see," he replied as he looked about to see Romana, Pinkie and Dash sitting down at a table nearby.  Mrs. Cake hovered nearby as she took their orders.

"Have one of my Butterscotch muffins," she said as it glowed and hovered before his face.

"Why thank you," he said as he took it in hand.

"I notice you have a large horn," she said as she looked at his head.

"I come from a distant land where that seems to be more common."

"How fascinating."

The two began eating as apple tarts were delivered to Romana and the others.
