Rarity stared straight ahead as she sat in the tub, and closed her book telekinetically with a snap. The bubble bath had long since run out, the water tepid at best, and the glass of wine forgotten and spoiled.

White and purple was a very striking sort of color. It was such a shame that an antagonist had to sport it. Aside from that, she did feel that the author was getting a bit out of hoof with the writing, though, and dangerously close to the "unconventional fetish" zone.

Who would even pen something like this? She turned the book over and looked at the cover, which depicted an athletic pegasus with a braided, two-tone grayscale mane in the embrace of an incredibly oily, muscular stallion in a Neighgyptian headdress. In the Tomb of the Pharaoh, by one R. D. Gaster.

On second thought, she wouldn't recommend this one at the next book club meeting.
