What if your whole life had been a lie?
She woke up with a bright grin on her face. After all, how could a mare not be happy on the day she gets to spend with her friends. She trotted downstairs, grin still plastered on her face, however, there was somepony waiting for her.
It was Princess Celestia.
The mare bowed down, her cotton candy mane bouncing when she came up, mantaining her signature smile when she came up. The mare's smile faded upon seeing the deadpan expression on the magestic alicorn's face. This was not good. The white alicorn, expressionless, fabricated a chair out of thin air, and with a pointed hoof, she said,"Sit down, Pinkie Pie."
The pink mare, trying to change the mood of the situation bounced onto the chair, smiling,"What brings you here to Sugar Cube Corner, Princess Celestia?"
A movement could be seen going down the alicorn's throat, as she stared into Pinkie's eyes,"I have my reasons. But, let me ask you this. What would you do, if your whole life had been a lie?" A solemn voice unlike Princess Celestia's normal voice.
"A lie? As in a trick lie? A flim-flam lie? Or a prank lie or a-"
Princess Celestia cut in, softly,"A lie lie."
"Well, I wouldn't know. How can my life be a lie? After all, I'm here. And you're there! We're talking... How is this a lie?" Pinkie Pie, with the usage of hoof gestures, replied.
Celestia shook her head and said dully,"Pinkie, your innocence surprises me. And yet interests me. But answer the question: What would you do if you your whole life had been a lie?" Celestia stomped a hoof.
Pinkie got off her chair and trotted around, tapping her head with a hoof, creating a soft thumping rhythm. The eyes of the white followed her as she trotted around the room, appearing to be in deep thought.
She stopped, and her eyes flitted to meet Celestia's, with a serious expression on her face,"Why do you ask me this question, Princess Celestia? Please," The pink mare, now turned to face the Princess, trotted closer to her, inches away from her eyes, the pink mare continued,"Please tell me, what is going on?" Her voice pleading, thirsty with curiousity.
The alicorn looked into the mare's blue eyes, she could see curiousity, wonder and fear. Fear, of what may happen. Oh, Pinkie Pie. Your innocent curiousity.
Princess Celestia sighed, the mare had to know, after all, this concerns her whole life.
Wing wrapped around Pinkie, Celestia said,"Let me show you the truth." Her horn started glowing and with a burst of magic, they were gone.
They reappeared in a black void, null of anything living, devoid of colour except for the two ponies.
"Where are we, Princess Celestia?" Pinkie struggled away from Celestia's wing, exploring the new place they were in. Celestia smiled a sad smile,"Oh Pinkie, I need to show you something." Her horn glowed once more, now producing a projection in the sky; it was the day of the parasprite invasion.
"Ooh ooh! I was there! I even helped Twi and the girls to get rid of them parasprites! Do you know how many instruments I had to get?" Pinkie Pie recalled her memory as she laughed.
Celestia placed a hoof on Pinkie's shoulder,"Pinkie Pie, take a closer look, do you see any difference?"
Pinkie Pie, still curious, tapped her chin with her hoof, eyes turned into slits as she tried to see the difference between the projection in the sky and her memories. She saw the difference.
She wasn't in the projection.
The events as followed on the projection replayed as in her mind, except for her looking for the instruments, except for the fact she didn't save Ponyville from the parasprites and that Twilight used her magic to save Ponyville instead of Pinkie, except that Pinkie wasn't there.
Pinkie collapsed on the floor, muttering some inconcievable words to herself. She stayed in that position for a good 5 minutes. Finally, she got back up on her hooves, voice shaking, she asked,"Why was everypony there, except for me?"
Princess Celestia, eyes filled with care and concern, answered,"You were never there to begin with. Pinkie Pie, my dear. You were a special talent, I had to mould you, take care of you, so I could be able to use your talent when you grew older."
Pinkie Pie, with questioning eyes, asked,"Talent? What talent?"
"The ability to look into another dimension. It's called The Dimensional eye. Only one pony in existence has this talent, and that pony is you." Celestia now with a serious expression, pointed a hoof at Pinkie. "I need your talent, Pinkie, so that I can take over the other worlds. The other dimensions."
Pinkie Pie retreated backwards, trying to take it all in. She gasped and shot back another question,"Then what about Twi? AJ? Dashie? Rares? Fluttershy? All my friends? Do they know me? What about fake Ponyville? Who have I been partying with ALL MY LIFE?!" With every question, Pinkie grew angrier.
"Clones. Clones, m'dear. Clones under my command. So that I can mould your talent. The Ponyville that you live in is just a exact replica, just with an extra Sugar Cube Corner. The real elements of harmony do not even know the name Pinkie Pie."
"So my whole life has been a lie?'
"That's what I have been asking you, m'dear."
Something just snapped inside of Pinkie, all her life dedicated to making friends just to find out they are all clones. She pounced onto Princess Celestia, but was trapped halfway by a purple bubble. Pinkie struggled, waving her hooves all around in an attempt to get out. Her five friends suddenly teleported to the same area as she was, a sigh of relief escaped from Pinkie's lips,"Girls! Thank goodness, you're here, now could you get me ou- girls?"
Everyone of them, eyes a menacing red, smiled evily at Pinkie Pie.
They were clones, how could Pinkie forget? Tears started to form in Pinkie's eyes as she started to think how her friends turned out to be evil clones to help an evil princess take over another world. The tears fell and floated around Pinkie in her anti-gravity bubble. In each teardrop, however, she could see every memory she and her friends shared. Giggles, parties, gossips and crushes they had all shared.
"You may have taken my friends, my hopes, my dreams, but you'll never take away the memories I have shared with them, even if they are clones!" Pinkie shouted from inside the bubble, surprising Celestia.
Celestia's smile turned into a scowl as she said back menacingly,"Disobediance, eh? I think we will have to fix that." The alicorn gestured with her eyes and the bubble was gone, shackles and machinery took its place. Pinkie strapped to a surgery board, sweat in beads dripping down her side.
"Mind control chips always fit the ticket, Twilight, my faithful student shall do it." Princess Celestia with a surgical mask over her, said. She passed her computer chip like object to Twilight, who was also levitating a surgical knife, surgical mask over her snout, only her red eyes visible.
"This won't hurt a bit, Pinkie Pie." Twilight spat out as she inched closer to Pinkie with surgical scapel and chip in levitation. As her other friends watched on, savouring every moment.
Closer. The white alicorn watched with observing eyes, watching Pinkie struggle as Twilight got closer.
Closer. Hmm... A silent hum came out from Celestia.
The cold tip of the scapel touched Pinkie's forehead and it began to cu-
"NO NONONO SHRIEEEEK!" The pink mare woke up, eyes darting around the room she was in. Beads of sweat trickled down her forehead. It was her bedroom, in Sugar Cube Corner, in Ponyville. The mare panting, clutched her head, her muscles tensing, finally she relaxed,"It was a terrible, terrible dream. Just a dream, Pinkie Pie. Heh heh, just a dream... just a dream..." The pink mare repeated as she lay her head upon the pillow and fell asleep.

In the Canterlot Castle, all lights were off, except for one. The room which was lit up
Twilight kneeled before Princess Celestia before starting her questions,"M'queen. Why did you not allow me to place the chip in Pinkie's brain? You could have taken over the other dimensions." A solemn voice was spoken.
A long time of silence was made before Celestia spoke, malice dripping from every word she spoke,"The Dimensional Eye can only be activated when is truly happy, making her mind controlled won't do. We have to make her completely trust me."
The five ponies looked up, a tinge of shock in their eyes,"We have to continue with plan A?"
Celestia nodded.
The candle in the room was snuffed, darkness engulfing the room .
Leaving behind six red pairs of eyes in the darkness.
