On a equestrian newspaper the head title said "Body found this morning at six am." The story explained that "A body was found in a cottage near sugar cube corner. The body had a lack of eyes and puncture wounds all over the body from head to tow, But the wounds have been shown sings of being formed from the inside to the out. Police have know idea of what kill the suspected and why, there also was no trace of what did or how."
Ponies where in panic, trying to understand what was going on. The police and Canterlot guards have made a plan to patrol PonyVill over night to catch or find more clews of the murderer. But before they could start the plan they had to calm every pony down first.
"Please every pony calm down!!" On guard yelled from town square. "We will stay on patrol tonight to find out what is going on but for now pleas stay in your homes, lock the doors and windows and stay inside at all times."
And the ponies did just that. Soon it became dark and luna raised the moon once more. As the ponies where going to bed, The guards and police ponies where walking around the streets. The next morning ponies where gathered around town hall. There laying on the ground dead the same way as the other pony corps, no eyes and holes all though them. The ponies began to panic. All you could ever here was screams of horror. The mayor declared that everypony stayed indoors with all doors and windows shut and locked. All the ponies ran to there homes as dark fell upon PonyVill.
One ran lock all the door and jammed all the windows. She ran to the kitchen and grabbed a knife to defend herself. She backed into a corner down the first hallway. Silence fell upon the little town, everything was dark. Anticipation and fear grew, dwelling in the small house. A loud screeching sound like hoofs scratching a chalk board, came through the window. The mare shivered in fear as she pointed the blade away from her ready to defend herself.
"What are you...?" she asked.
The blob like monster stretched its way through the window. Towered over her and a says in a groggy fowl voice saying "I am the Shadow dweller."
She immediately ran to the bathroom and locked herself inside. She looked into the mirror with a wight face. Breathing heavy and pail with fear. She noticed her shadow behind her starting to move unlike her movement. And Then the monster emerged from her shadow and was about to attack. She turned around and was swinging at the Dweller with her knife. She missed both times and ran to the door. She unlocked it and ran out, but before she could get far the Dweller impale her and dragged her back to the bathroom.
"I will need these." he said as he stabbed tentacles into he eyes.
She screamed in pain as large spikes slowly came out of her back, head, stomach, and flanks. She died immediately, the spike moved away and the Dweller sucked out her eyes and internal organs. And later the next morning, her body was found, and the Dweller was gone.
