As soon as he stepped onto the train platform in Ponyville, he knew today would be different.
Neon Streak, a grey coated pegai with a neon green mane, felt he needed a well deserved vacation away from his like at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory. A boring job, a boring life, boring friends, boring routine. He needed something to do so he could leave this behind for a few days. So, he decided to go on a vacation. But where, he pondered until his brain nearly exploded from thinking to much, (he did not think alot.)
Seeing as how going to a beach would be a cliché place to go, staying at home would be boring, and the Wonderbolt show he wanted to go to was sold out, he decided to head to the quaint little town of Ponyville. Figuring he could just walk around the town and talk to new ponies for a couple days, crack a couple jokes, and heck, even make a new friend, he thought it would be relaxing and fun enough.
Well... Fast forward 20 minutes, and we'll see he is wrong... sort of.
*Insert Time Travel Sound Here*
"Phew, thought's I'd never get out of there" Neon Streak said to himself, after he exited the train station platform. Jeez, he thought, why'd I have to choose a holiday weekend to visit Ponyville? He trotted off of the stations wooden platform and onto the dirt road in front of it.
But, it seemed like not everyone was on vacation. Some ponies buzzed passed him in a hurry. Seems like they have to wait to relax, he thought to himself. He began to ponder why they were rushing around in a hurry and what for. He did not finish his thought. Somepony bumped into him, knocking him out of his not-so deep thought. He began to think what he was doing before. Of course, the path in front him reminded him of how stupid he was that he forgot was going to head to Ponyville.
Flying was never his strong suit, even though he lived in Cloudsdale. So, instead of flying above the path as a normal pegasi would do, he just trotted along the path into nearby Ponyville. However, something distracted him from his path as he a saw rainbow streak zoom across the sky. It looped back around and continued to do several loops and other things the narrator does not know. Immediately, the rainbow streak just stopped midflight. Neon Streak looked closely and realized it was a rainbow maned pegasi.
I know that figure, he thought, but from wh-
His thought was caught mid-sentence as he was thrown to the ground by that same rainbow pegasi he was just looking at moments ago.
What surprised him more was that the pegasi got there in less then 10 seconds flat.
"Hey, don't look at me like that, ya creep!" The voice sounded feminine, but, Neon Streak thought it just the minor blow to the head that made him hear the voice. He doubt a girl could hit a male pegasi that hard.
"Hey, you better be alive so I don't get in trouble for killing you!"
Definitely a girl. Neon Streak and his long history of crazy ex-es, who would either punch, kick, or do other unmentionable things to him. Because of this, his natural instinct was to close his eyes and prepare for the crazy female pegasi to hit him
A few moments of silence past. The rainbow colored female was obviously holding back. Maybe she was scared of him, maybe she thought she killed him, or, she just like the possible fact that the stallion she just hit could be dead and most likely go on the run. But, at this point, he cared not. He opened his eyes to look at his attacker.
She immediately recognized her as Rainbow Dash. She had tried out for the Wonderbolts a multitude of times, but, to no avail. As for him, well, he just remembered the time when she almost beat him up years prior after something he did, but, she did not elaborate on it.
"Rainbow Dash, this is not really a good way to keep meeting" Neon Streak said, now relieved that she would not kill him. He hoped.
"Um... who are you and how to do you know my name"
"6 years ago, I was watching you do some stunts in Cloudsdale, you rammed into me, and I was afraid to look at another girl for a month," he said, remembering the vague memory of Rainbow Dash smashing into him.
Again, more silence. Meanwhile, crickets chirped, apple pies were thrown, ponies and griffons joined in harmony to celebrate the end of their 100 year war. But, the silence was broken, and all of the above never happened.
"Oh... umm... well, this is... awkward. What is your name, though?"
"Neon Streak, and, please don't ram into me. It hurts more then ya think."
The rainbow maned pegsi let out a nervous chuckle, "Yea... I've been on that end a couple of times myself"
Neon Streak also let out a small laugh, but, it was barely audible.
"So um... Neon Streak?"
"Yes, Mrs. Rainbow Crash?"
"Don't call me that," she said with a stern tone and a straight face.
Neon Streak just started blankly at the pegasi.
"Anyway. Since I rammed you twice, I think I should make up for. I ain't rich, but, I do have enough bits to go feed 2 people at the Hayburger."
"Hayburger? What the hay is that?" Neon Streak asked, puzzled and intrigued.
"You'll see when we get there. C'mon ya bum. Let's go."
And thus ends a weird story of Rainbow Dash smashing into a random Original Character and the author most likely explaining why the Rainbow Dash smashed into him because it was funny. The world may never know...
