It was calm and peaceful day as Celestia's sun Equestria with its delicate and gentle glow. The birds and other creatures made their usual chirps and noises that echoed through the trees. All continued to remain calm until a caravan with two screaming individuals interrupted the tranquility.
“But Trixie demands you to climb up on the stand and let her blindfold and practice on you for the act in the coming this month!” the azure-colored mare raises her voice in annoyance.
“Like hell I'm going to let you tie me up and blindfold me! After all, I’m pretty sure you’re trying to have me killed!” both of the voices shattered the tranquility of the surrounding forest as the caravan magically travels down the dirt path.
“Of course Trixie doesn't wish to kill you. Trixie has taken every precaution to insure your safety. Besides, you, as my familiar, are supposed to do as I command since you’re spellbound to me.” she crosses her arms in an attempt to appear superior.
“As if I would ever just ‘do as you say’!” The man retorts, “You’ve done things to me that I thought only ghost types can do. But still, just because I am ‘spellbound’ or whatever as your ‘familiar’ doesn’t mean I have no free will!”
“Well for one, as I’ve stated before, since I summoned you here, that means you were meant to serve me like a good servant should. But instead, you butt heads with me at every turn! Also its not like its any different from you and the Pokémon." She smiles smugly at her retort.
"It is totally different from training Pokémon!" The trainer scowled
Trixie raises an eyebrow. "And how is it any different."
"First of all, I don't force them to do demeaning acts, second I treat them with the same respect as I would to a friend."
Unknowing to the two of them, two figures were watching the argument amused, one was a small female cat with a golden charm on her head, the other was a creature resembling a both cat and weasel with red feathers on the back of its body.
The Meowth looked at the two surprised. "[Wow, Its not even breakfast, and the two are already arguing.]"
The Sneasal just waved a dismissive claw. "[There always arguing, so what if its a little earlier than usual.]" The Sneasal's stomach grumbled. "[So speaking of it being early when's Ricochet done with breakfast, Charm?]"
"WOBBUFFET!" Everyone turned towards the blue blob who was wearing a chef's hat and a pink apron.
Charm smirked as she saw the two, who were arguing earlier dashing into the caravan for one of Ricochet's home cooked meals. "[I'll say right about now.]" Charm turned towards the Sneasal. "[Hey Minda, what's that over there!.]"
Minda turned quickly to see what her friend was pointing at. "[I don't see anything, Charm.]" The sounds of air was the only response she got. "[Arceus, please don't tell me she left me again.]" Minda looked behind her, to see Charm running into the caravan. "[Hey! No fair!]" Minda's face paled when she saw two of her other team mates already heading inside. 'Oh, no I cant be the last one! Not after last time!' Minda ran as fast as she can towards the caravan and for a few seconds it seem like she was going to make it, until she hit something really squishy. 'So close....'
Minda looked up and flinched under the harsh glare the Wobbuffet was giving her. "[And where do you think your going.]"
Minda got on her knees and looked at the Wobbuffet with tears in her eyes. "[PLEASE! DONT MAKE ME DO IT! FOR THE LOVE OF ARCEUS! WHERE IS YOU MERCY!]"
To Rico's credit he didn't even flinch from the fake tears. "[It died a long time ago, now you now the rules, last one in for breakfast has to wake up.]" Ricochet shuddered. "[Marx.... And I want to live a few extra years, so you do it.]" Without giving Minda a chance to speak he slammed the door.
Minda looked up at the sky, with despair. "[Arceus why is it always me!?]"

"Hello everyone, and welcome to the Sinnoh Grand Festival, I am the master of cermonies for this contest, Marian, today the Grand Festival will be a double performance followed up by a double battle. Today as our judges is Nurse joy!"
A woman with pink hair smiled at the crowd. "Its a pleasure being here."
"Next we have the head of the pokemon fan club is Mr. Sukizo."
"Thank you im sure this year's Grand Festival will be remarkable." The small man replied.
"And last but not least heres! Mr. Contesta!"
"Its always a pleasure being here."
"Now let's go to the first round the preformance stage!"
Watching the video from the backstage, was a young trainer with his Meowth sitting on his shoulder and a Ghastly floating next to him, the trainer has a dream of becoming a top coordinator, along with his team to back him up.
"GAH! I'm never going to make it! I should just back out and save myself from the humiliation." The trainer was just about to exit out of the building until he felt something holding him down and felt something going inside his mind.
The trainer turned around and flinched at the glare from his Ghastly."Alex, were do you think you are going."
"Bu-but."
"NO BUTS! What would Locusts say when she finds out, you back out last minute because of stage fright! Or even Ricochet, who you put through really difficult training, because he couldn't learn any attacks! " Alex looked down ashamed that he was so close to accomplishing his dream only to try to give up last minute.
Alex saw his Meowth putting a comforting paw on him."[Alex...]"
"I'm sorry guys." The Ghastly glare soften. "And your right Marx, Locust and Ricochet would never would never forgive me." Alex looked up with hopeful eyes towards his two teammates. "So why don't we win for the team!"
Suddenly the three were enveloped by a bright purple light and disappeared. The next thing they felt was falling, but it wasn't onto a hardwood stage. It felt more like grass and flowers. Alex opening his eyes from the light, saw that he was outside with the blue sky with a couple of puffy white clouds. Slowly, he rolled over and up to his feet, looking at his surroundings indeed he was in a field of grass and flowers. "Was it all a dream?"
"Ah, finally my familiar has arrived." Alex look behind him and saw a tall bipedal creature, wearing a purple cape and hat. "huh? Looks like the book gave me two others, a smoky ball and strange cat, oh well the more the merrier."
"What...?"
