Chapters As Katie woke up she examined her bedroom or at least she thought it was her bedroom. The room she was currently in had pink walls and a crystal celling, the door was ridiculously over sized and as she brought her gaze to look at what was in the room she found a set of bars blocking her view. "Why does my bed have bars?" she thought. As Katie moved around to examine her bed she heard a crinkling that sounded like paper. Katie stood up and saw that inbetween her legs was the soft padding of a diaper. "What the hay," She said out loud. Katie craned her neck to look behind her and saw the other end of the diaper but the turning point was when her eyes met her wings. Where her wings used to be were now 2 two very small grey wings. "MY WINGS, WHY ARE THEY SO SMALL!" She screamed.
Another presence made it's self known with a amused laugh and saying. "Having fun?"
"Who are you?" Katie asked hoping he could get her out of this.
"I am Discord a friend of your friends." he answered.
"Well can you get me out of this please." She pleaded
"Now where is the fun in that? That will just ruin the game." Discord said as he patted her head.
"What game?" She asked.
"Oh it is a wonderful game basically I changed your reality so that you are now Twilight Sparkles foal. Now this may alarm you but don't worry everything will be back to normal after a week. That is unless you want to stay this way of course."
"I would never want to stay this way. Ever." Katie angrily replied.
"Well that is your choice." He calmly stated as he went to fly through the window. "And just to let you know I think mommy is on the way now. bye bye." And then he left.
As if on cue Twilight Sparkle arrive through the enormous doors that led to Katie's new room. "Hello there Katie." Twilight said with a huge smile.
"Twilight? You are so big." Katie said which Twilight didn't understand a word.
"Are you ready to be changed?" Twilight asked the small foal.
"NO! Why would I want to be changed." She said but quickly realised that she did infact need to be changed.
The next thing she knew she was being carried by magic to the changing table giggling all the way. Twilight placed Katie on the changing table and attempted to get the diaper off Katie. "Hold still Katie I need to get the diaper off." Twilight pressed a hoof on Katie's chest to force her down while she used her magic to take the diaper off. As Twilight wiped Katie's lower parts Katie couldn't stop her face blushing a deep crimson.
"There all done." Twilight announced. She then heard a very loud rumble emitting from Katie's stomach. "It sounds like somepony is hungry." She chuckled to Katie as Katie blushed even more. She found herself once again surrounded by Twilight's magic as she was placed on her mother's back. Twilight made sure her little foal was secure before walking towards the kitchen.

When they arrived at the kitchen there was a purple dragon with an apron on attempting to get into a high shelf. "SPIKE!" Twilight exclaimed making the baby dragon fall of the chair he was standing on. "Stop looking for gems and get Katie some food." She commanded as she sat Katie in a highchair.
Now with a good view of the room she could see basic kitchen necessities like an oven and a sink, but also a gigantic refrigerator and rows and rows of cupboards. "How does anypony remember where stuff is?" Katie thought outloud in complete awe from the size of the kitchen.
While Katie was gazing around the room Spike retrieved some foal food and a bottle of milk from the masses of storage containers. Twilight got as much as possible on a small plastic spoon and presented it in front of Katie. Expecting it to taste worse than Rainbow Dash's cooking (if that was possible) she refused to eat it. After a minuet of Twilight trying to feed Katie a rubble was heard from the small Pegasus and she quickly devoured it like a starving puppy.
After eating every single bit of the food Katie was once again put on her mothers back and given her milk to drink while Twilight slowly trotted to the library on one of the upper floors to the castle. Once they arrived she was put in a play pen with a few toys as Twilight said in a soft voice "Mommy is going to study now so have fun."
The second Twilight Sparkle turned around Katie's foal instincts kicked in and she started building a tower out of blocks. The tower went higher and higher almost doubling her height. But when Katie turned to grab more blocks her hind leg hit the tower and it all came down. All of her hard work had been ruined because she was so careless all she could think to do was to cry.
Twilight was too busy reading to hear the blocks falling but the second she heard her daughter crying she stopped and ran as fast as she could to the centre of the library where the play pen was. When she finally got there the sight broke her heart a crying Pegasus next to a pile of blocks, she put two and two together and went to comfort her crying foal.
"There there Katie mommy is here. We can build a new one don't worry." Twilight said as she hugged the crying foal with her wing. Katie buried herself into Twilight's shoulder as her mother carried her to a chair and sat down on it placing the foal on the other half of the sofa. Katie somewhat calmed down now and was just sniffling as her mother stroked her dark blue mane. After what seemed like hours but was actually minutes Katie was sleeping peacefully and was being carried by Twilight back to her crib.
After making sure that Katie was asleep Twilight headed down stares to the front room of the castle. Twilight sat on a sofa reading when she heard a knock at the door. Shifting her eyes to the door she teleported to it and opened it to reveal her friends. "HI TWILIGHT!" An energetic earth pony shouted.
"Pinkie please be more quiet, Katie is trying to sleep." She said in a hushed tone. "But please all of you come in." she gestured for her friends to follow her. As they entered the front room they each sat on different chairs while Twilight put her book back. "So if you don't mind me asking why are you here, not that I don't mind company."
"We thought you might want to hang out with us today." Apple Jack said.
"That sounds wonderful but I have no one to look after Katie." She said a little sad that she had parental responsibilities and couldn't go with her friends.
"Well she could come with us." Rarity suggested.
"Ok I don't see why not, but we need to let her rest she had a little accident earlier." Twilight replied.
"Oh dear what happened?" Asked Fluttershy.
The next hours were spent recalling what happened in the library and just normal talking until Twilight thought Katie had enough sleep. "Okay girls I'm going to wake Katie up now I will be back soon."

Meanwhile Katie was in a peaceful slumber dreaming about what her life was like before she came to Ponyville and before all this happened. She was currently having a snowball fight with her friends ,well all except Fluttershy. The fight was split into two teams with Apple Jack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie on one and Twilight, Rainbow and herself on the other. All of them were having fun in the soft, fluffy snow but all of a sudden one of Katie's snow balls hit Apple Jack a little too hard everyone looked at her as if she had committed a murder. Their eyes all gazing on her so she did the only logical thing: she ran.
She ran as fast as her hoofs could carry her but when she saw the six ponies catching up she took off flying as fast as she could. As she looked down she could see five ponies looking up to her. Katie allowed herself to relax only to recount the five ponies to fine one was missing. Her eyes went wide as she remembered she wasn't the only Pegasus in the group. She turned around to fly away but she came face to face with Rainbow Dash. Before she could say anything Rainbow Dash pushed her and flew faster than light straight to the ground.
Just before they could hit the ground Katie's eyes shot open to reveal that she was sleeping and was covered in cold sweat. She looked around desperate to find something to calm her down but realised she was only in an empty crib. Then a familiar voice entered hear ear "I see you had an absolute wonderful dream." Discord said to her.
Katie looked around to find the source of the voice and found the draconequus sitting on a small plastic chair in the corner of the room. He stood up and walked to the crib "What the hay do you want Discord?" She angrily asked him.
"Now, now that is not the language the should come from a little filly." Discord stated.
"Well as you failed to tell me I don't think Twilight can understand a word I say." Katie exclaimed.
"What did you expect you are a foal after all."
"That is only because you made me one!" Katie was almost on the verge of shouting at him.
"Ok fine you win, but the spell is irreversible you will have to wait the six and a half days. Good luck." And with that he vanished into the air.
Moments later Twilight Sparkle came through the door. "Hello Katie did you have a nice rest?" Knowing Twilight wouldn't understand her she simply nodded. "So do you want to come out with me and my friends?" Thinking back to the dream she had minuets ago Katie quickly shook her head. "What is wrong do they scare you, you don't need to worry mommy is here."
Twilight put on a foal carrier and used her magic to gently place Katie in it. As soon as she knew Katie was secure she walked of to meet her friends in the front room. From her position Katie could see her legs hanging out of the foal carrier and the endless rows of paintings on the wall. The paintings didn't really interest her they were mostly old people she didn't know. But one caught her eye, it was a picture of Twilight standing next to somepony each with a caring smile. The pony next to Twilight was a Pegasus with a light orange coat and a dark blue mane.
Katie grabbed Twilight's attention and pointed to the picture. "Oh that" Twilight responded seeing the picture. "That is just me and your father ,Flash sentry he is not around much because he is in Canterlot guarding the princesses."

When Twilight arrived to her friends they all stood up and got ready to leave. "Where are we going first girls?" Twilight asked.
"Let's go to Sugarcube Corner I haven't had a cupcake in days. What do you think Fluttershy?" Rainbow dash said.
"Well um I don't mind." Fluttershy replied nervously.
"Okay it is settled we are going to Sugarcube Corner." Twilight announced.
The six ponies left the castle in a slow walk heading to the centre of Ponyville. Katie waved to passers by and listened to the other pony's conversation with interest. She could only hear parts of the conversation but she still tried to hear it. The grown up ponies were talking about Apple Jack's next harvest and possibly helping her with it.
After an hour of staring at the floor and hearing only half a conversation Katie could see a sign on the side of a building that was a giant muffin. Katie had only been to Sugarcube Corner once or twice because she didn't like the muffins they sold there. As they all got in a booth Twilight sat Katie on the table and they all decide on what to order. Finally after what seemed like hours of deciding they chose a chocolate muffin for Rainbow Dash, apple cider for Apple Jack, a big berry pie for Pinkie, 2 glasses of water for Rarity and Fluttershy, banana flavoured foal food for Katie and nothing for Twilight.
"TWENTY BITS!!" Rarity screamed.
"It's ok I can pay." Twilight said.
"But you aren't even buying anything Twilight." Apple Jack argued.
"It is really ok my castle came with a lot of money so there is no need to worry." Twilight said with a smile
"Well I'm going to the bathroom I'll be back later." Pinkie Pie said to the group.
"Okay hurry back." Rainbow added.
While Pinkie was gone the group talked and ate but they failed to notice a certain pink earth pony creeping up to the booth where her friends were relaxing. Pinkie got closer and closer mere inches away from the light grey Pegasus foal enjoying her food. Then all of a sudden she grabbed Katie and screamed, "GOT YOU."
The result scared the ponies by the table and alerted half the store as well. But the biggest reaction was the foal she grabbed Katie jumped so high that if her wings were normal there would probably have been a hole in the ceiling. When she landed on her spot on the table Twilight scolded Pinkie "Pinkamena Diane Pie if you ever scare my daughter like that again I will personally throw all your cupcakes into the nearest volcano. Am I clear!?" Pinkie just whimpered in response. "AM. I. CLEAR." Twilight shouted.
"Yes" Pinkie said in the quietest voice anyone had ever heard come out of her mouth.
"Ok thank you." Twilight said returning to normal with a smile. This shocked everyone on the table even herself she had never shouted at her friends like that she decided it must have been her motherly instincts. All the ponies calmed down except Katie who was still in deep thought with her mouth agape until Fluttershy noticed something.
"What is that smell?" She whispered to Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow now fully aware of the smell spoke up. "Twilight could you um change Katie please she is making a really bad smell." hearing made Katie's face glow red with embarrassment. She really wanted to be changed due to her diaper now being incredibly uncomfortable and the smell was enough to make her want to vomit.
Twilight looked at Katie who was sitting down with a hoof over her nose signalling that she didn't like the smell either. "Um sorry everypony but I left Katie's diapers at home." Twilight said. Now the smell from Katie was starting to attract the attention of everyone else in the store and this was beginning to get even more embarrassed and looked to Twilight pleadingly. "Ok we will be back later bye."
The walk back was the most uncomfortable thing Katie had ever endured, the poop now spreading about further increased the smell. Thankfully she saw the beacon of hope that was Twilight's castle. When they entered Spike was cleaning in an apron. "Does he normally wear that?" Katie thought.
"Hello Twilight," the dragon welcomed "why are you back so soon?" He asked but a very strong smell gave him the answer. He covered his nose and ran away before the alicorn could say a word.
"Ok Katie let's get you changed, and maybe a bath." Twilight continued up to the nursery desperate to relive the filly of the diaper. She came to the nursery and used her magic to open the door. The door was surrounded by a purple glow as it slowly opened Twilight approached the changing table and placed Katie on it. Katie shifted awkwardly as Twilight undid the diaper and gasped when she saw the mess that almost made her gag. "Wow Katie," Twilight giggled "What caused this?"
Katie's face turned crimson as she tried to hide her face in her hoofs. "It is your fault for putting that foal carrier so tight." Katie said. Twilight started to wipe her but stopped when Katie started to wiggle away from the wash cloth.
"Do you want to be cleaned or what?" Twilight asked Katie replied by staying still and allowed her mother to continue. After the whole process was complete Katie was put on Twilights back and Katie shot her a questioning glance. "What?" she asked "do you not want a bath?" With that Twilight started to walk down to the bathroom with a very embarrassed filly on her back.
Katie watched as Twilight Sparkle turned the tap with her magic. The water now filling up the bath very quickly and every 2 minuets Twilight checked to make sure the water won't burn Katie. When the bath was full Twilight went to pickup Katie but saw that she was gone. Katie hid in the wash basket hoping that her mother won't see her. She always hated baths the only times she ever had baths was when her friends slowly avoided her or when Rarity said. "KATIE YOU STINK, HAVE A BATH!"
A bright light entered the wash basket and Katie looked up to see the face of Twilight. "oh no," she murmured. Suddenly a purple glow surrounded her as she was lifted into the air and put in the bath. Katie not wanting to accept defeat flapped her wings as fast as possible splashing a lot of water around the bath room and soaking Twilight.
"KATIE!" Twilight shouted. "Why did you do that," Twilight went to grab a towel to dry herself off. After she made sure that no water was left on her coat Twilight turned to the foal. "Now don't do that again please, I know that you don't like to be bathed but if you stay still this will be over a lot faster."
When she heard this Katie sat a still as possible to allow Twilight to clean her. As Twilight cleaned her Katie could see Discord appear behind Twilight's shoulder with a huge smile on his face. Katie sent him a death glare and he quickly vanished. Twilight washed Katie's mane and moved to her lower parts. Katie jumped and gasped at the contact splashing more water onto the floor and a very unfortunate Twilight Sparkle. "Katie calm down, you need to be clean I can't have you going around Ponyville smelling like this," Twilight said.
The rest of the bath went quickly with minimum interruptions and Katie was now in a foal carrier ready to leave to go back to Sugarcube Corner. "Twilight, Twilight I have a letter for you," Spike said running towards them.
"Well let me see then," she said as a purple glow emitted from her horn. Twilight's eyes skimmed over the paper but for some reason Katie couldn't understand the writing. She just thought of it as another thing about the whole turning into a foal situation. Katie snapped out of her thought just in time to see Twilight's reaction to the letter. "Oh dear, Spike I will be gone a few days something has happened in Canterlot and I'm needed to help out. If you need me I will be finding a foalsitter for Katie."
Katie's jaw dropped when she heard the word foalsitter, she was barely used to Twilight mothering her and now she had to have a foalsitter on the first day? "WHAT!" Katie screamed. Twilight ran as fast as she could out of the castle straight to Sugarcube Corner not stopping for anything and arrived in 5 minuets flat. "Impressive," Katie muttered.
Twilight slowed to a walk and approached her friends, who hadn't moved since the accident earlier "Um girls I need to leave to Canterlot so I need to leave Katie with you."
"Wait why do you need to go to Canterlot?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Because something happened and I'm not allowed to tell anypony, even my friends," Twilight said with a hint of sadness evident. "So who will look after Katie for me?"
"I'LL DO IT" Pinkie screamed at the top of her lungs. Katie did not like this idea at all. As The other ponies talked Katie thought about all the possible outcomes for staying with Pinkie for an extended period of time. "What if she throws a party every time I breath? What if she throws me out of a window to make me fly? What if she brings half the town into the house again?" She stopped thinking in time to hear the end of the conversation .
"Bye everypony I will be back tomorrow," Twilight got close to Katie. "Be good for Pinkie Pie won't you Katie?" The small Pegasus nodded to her and watched as Twilight spread her wings and took of to Canterlot. Shortly after Twilight's departure everyone else left except to Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie turned to Katie who was on the floor trying to back away from the energetic earth pony and smiled. "I know you miss mommy but I will make sure I am just as fun as her."
"Somehow I doubt that," Katie replied as she crawled away from her.
She didn't get very far because Pinkie picked her up and said. "Lets play a game." Pinkie thought of a game the foal would enjoy but couldn't think of anything. "Ok what do you want to play?" Katie stared at her blankly for a moment the looked at the clock on the wall. It said 7 pm she only had 2 meals today and was actually quite hungry. Katie mimicked eating something hoping that Pinkie would understand what she needed.
"Oh I get it your hungry, don't worry I'm sure the Cakes won't mind if we borrow some of their foal food." Katie was picked up by Pinkie and taken through some saloon doors to a kitchen area. Pinkie placed Katie in a highchair and left to grab something for Katie to eat. No faster than she left Pinkie returned with just a bottle of milk. "Sorry I couldn't find any food I guess they took it all with them I wonder why they would do that but they didn't know that you would be here the again I didn't know that either."
Katie grabbed the milk off Pinkie so that she wouldn't have to listen to her. As she was drinking an idea came to her mind. "If I am sleeping she would have to be quiet but I am pretty tired I guess." She thought.
Katie let out a very loud yawn to attract her sitters attention. "Oh you are tired you should sleep you know, if you don't get sleep you will be tired tomorrow but don't worry we can play all day tomorrow." Hearing this greatly relaxed Katie and Pinkie picked her up and took her to the twins nursery.
The room was dark as they entered it but Katie didn't mind it. Pinkie Pie walked over to a random crib and slowly placed her in it. "Good night Katie and sweet dreams." Pinkie whispered to her then kissed her on the forehead. Katie was to tired to notice the contact and saw Pinkie leave the room slowly.
Katie's head was buzzing with questions like, "Why is Pinkie being so nice? Why is Pinkie being so quiet? Do I owe her an apology?" With these thoughts Katie slowly drifted to sleep.
A new way of seeing things
Katie woke up to a sharp pain poking her. She sat up in the crib she slept in and came face to face with Discord. "Sooooo. How was your first day being a foal?" He asked.
"Different," Katie replied.
"Was it fun? I imagine that you were so confused when you looked at the letter I sent to Twilight."
"Wait you sent it?" The draconequus nodded. "Was something wrong in Canterlot?" He shook his head. "That means you just wanted me to go to Pinkie's house!" She accused
"BINGO!" He screamed.
"Why? Can't you tell I don't like her?"
"Exactly. When I saw that you didn't get along with her I thought I might give you a bonding experience, But then you got tired and skipped it. Luckily Twilight is still gone for a few hours so you can make up for lost time." He appeared right next to her and put an arm around her shoulder. "Tell me what did you learn so far?"
Katie shifted uncomfortably. "Well I found out that Twilight can be a little over protective about ponies she cares about," she thought back to how Pinkie cared for her last night. Not wanting to tell Discord this she said something else. "I learned that I really like the banana flavoured food."
Discord looked at her. "Is that all you learned?" He asked Katie nodded her head. "Are you sure you didn't learn anything else specifically something about Pinkie Pie?"
Katie looked down to the mattress. "I also learned that Pinkie Pie doesn't try to make ponies laugh she tries to make ponies happy. Sometimes she goes the wrong way of doing it, but that is okay because she tries a different way and succeeds every time."
She looked up and saw Discord with a smile on his lips. "Well done you passed the first lesson. Now w-"
Before he could continue the door opened revealing Pinkie Pie. The sudden intrusion caused Discord to vanish luckily without Pinkie seeing him.
"Hello Katie, did you have a nice sleep?" Pinkie asked while walking to the crib Katie sat in. "I thought all night about what games we could play before Twilight gets here." The pink earth pony grabbed Katie an placed her on a changing table, "we could play hide and seek, bake cupcakes, prank Rainbow Dash, go treasure hunting, fight timber wolves in the everfree forest, or teach you to fly." Pinkie suggested without stopping to breathe.
Katie looked down to see that Pinkie managed to change her even better than Twilight had. She then thought about the ideas that Pinkie Pie said. Back when she was an adult Katie used to go into the everfree regularly to kill timber wolves, she liked it so much that she considered it a sport, she was even paid sometimes. Being small and unable to buck would mean she would probably be eaten so that was out of the question.
While Katie thought what activity wouldn't somehow kill her Pinkie put her on her back and took her to the kitchen. The tiny pegasus was sat on the table waiting for Pinkie to give her food poisoning. "Now," she began, "we don't have any foal food, but we have the next best thing." She sang.
"I swear if you try t-." She was cut off from her threat when something very delicious was crammed into her mouth.
"CUPCAKES." Pinkie sceamed effectively making Katie death in the ear closest to the pony carrying a tray of cupcakes.
She tried to chew the food in her mouth but her lack of teeth made it impossible. Not wanting to loose out on equestrias greatest cupcakes she kept trying to chew the cupcake all the while making funny faces that caused Pinkie to giggle. After what felt like an eternity the cupcake was small enough to swallow. She looked up to the now gigging earth pony expecting another one only to see an empty silver tray in front of her.
Pinkie stopped gigging to pick up the pegasus. "Wow, I didn't expect you to eat that I could have gone to the store, but it's great to know you like my cooking." Pinkie said with a smile. The next destination for the duo was a lounge type room above the shop. When they arrived Pinkie threw the foal on a couch and opened the curtains allowing the light of yhe sun in the room. In said room was two couches ,one of which Katie sat on, a box in the corner and a TV directly in front of the couch. It was extremely rare to see a television outside of Canterlot, but considering Pinkie Pie resides here it wasn't hard to believe.
Pinkie was in the middle of the room looking around as if she lost something. Then she saw it, the big box in the corner. Pinkie rushed over to Katie and put her on the floor. Then ran back over to the box and stood on her hind legs to grab it with her fore legs. When she was above Katie she tipped it upside down so its contents rained onto the now very scared foal. Katie looked up to see what would crush her, but smiled happily as stuffed animals rained from the heavens.
They all landed around her, different kinds of animals. Every single was bright pink except one that somehow landed behind the sofa. It had all sorts of animal parts on its body and looked like the same pony who put her in this mess. Pinkie saw her staring at the discarded toy and grabed it. "Hey," she giggled "this one looks like Discord." She placed it next to Katie and went to sit opposite her.
While Pinkie moved around Katie was pretty sure she saw the toy wink to her. She brushed it off as her mind playing trick with her and looked to the now settled earth pony. "These were all mine when I was your age," she sighed "but now I want you to have them because I want you to remember the best foal sitter ever." She said quickly. "And I can't hold on to the past forever." She muttered to her self.
"Now let's-" she was interrupted by a loud knocking on the shops front door. "Coming!"She shouted to whoever knocked. Katie was left in the room alone, or so she thought. She looked back at the Discord toy and got ready to buck it as hard as she could. Her legs launched at it but were stopped when a lion paw grabbed them. "Now, now it's not polite to hit others toys," Discord scolded.
"What do you want?" She asked.
"I came to say high after our meeting was interrupted earlier."
"Really?" She questioned.
"Well, that and to tell you your mother is not very happy with me."
"That's what you get when you send her all the way to Canterlot."
Hoof steps were heard coming from multiple ponies coming up the stairs. "Bye." Discord said and suddenly vanished.
"I'll have Spike collect them later and thankyou for this I'm glad I have a friend like you." She heard Twilight say. The two mares entered the room and Katie could easily tell Twilight was not very happy at all. "Ok Katie, time to get you home." Twilight said. She used her magic to place Katie securely on her back.
As they left Katie waved goodbye to Pinkie while Twilight walked away. "Thank you." She shouted. She always uesd her manners even if nopony could understand her. "Why did Twilight stop?" She thought. "And why does Pinkie look like she is about to explode?"
Both Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle looked at the pegasus with their mouths agape. Twilight grabbed her and hugged her while dancing around the market place chanting "Katie said her first word." Over and over.
Twilight couldn't contain her excitement, her daughter had just said her first word and now she stood on a table with a hoof in someponies cake while holding Katie up for everyone to see. Katie blushed bright red as Twilight put her gack on her back and ran back home.
When they arrived Twilight opened the doors to see half of Ponyville in their house. "SURPRISE!" They all screamed.
"What is all this?" Twilight asked.
Pinkie steped out of the crowd and approached them in a somewhat regal manner. She stood up on her hind legs and pulled out a scroll out of her mane. "Whenever a little filly says their first word, a party is then held in their honor." The crowd cheered as the music was played and ponies started to dance. Katie was confused how all this happened so fast she and Twilight only left the market 8 minutes ago, but one would go insane trying to understand Pinkie logic.
The party went on for hours there was cake, balloons, dancing and a lot of ponies saying hello to her. She didn't mind them but she always preferred to limit the ponies she taked to, it wasn't because she was mean but she was not a fan of big groups. From the spot she was seated at she spied a balloon that looked like Discord. She sighed, was this going to be a regular occurrence? She would have to speak to him in the morning.
The party was coming to a close and only Pinkie and Apple Jack remained. "Thank you for coming Apple Jack." Twilight said as the farm pony left. "Pinkie thanks for this I'm really sure Katie enjoyed it." Pinkie nodded and walked away.
Katie was already asleep with her face in a bowl of ice cream. Twilight giggled at the sight and picked her up carefully anf placed her on her back. She silently walked to Katie's bedroom and placed her in the crib, making sure to wish her a good night.
The purple alicorn walked to the library of the castle levitating a scroll and a quill. She sat down and began to write.
Dear princess Celestia
Katie is progressing along nicely, earlier today she said her first word it was 'thank you' and it was directed towards Pinkie Pie. Pinkie threw a party for her and declared it as a tradition. I think Katie has learned alot from her stay at Pinkie's and she also got a box of toys from her. I will report more later but for now can you tell me if you ever see Discord, I would love nothing more than to buck him in the face for sending me all the way to Canterlot.
From Princess Twilight Sparkle
Katie sat at a table eating with all her friends around her. She couldn't taste the food or hear what they were saying but she didn't care. The area around her was unfocused and she the pictures on the wall were hard to see. Just then Apple Jack turned into a ice cream sundae and jumped on the table so Pinkie Pie could drink her. Twilight stood away from the group and began to dance, then she was joined by Princess Celestia who came cartwheeling through the door. That's normal Katie thought to herself. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy raced out of the door while Rarity tried to eat the table. A creepy laugh resounded across the land and Katie was shook out of her dream.
Katie sat up from where she was sleeping and looked around. The room was so dark she couldn't see her own hoof in her face, she thought she saw something move in front of her but sat back when it approached her. "Hello sleepy head," Discord said.
"What time is it,"Katie yawned "has Celestia even raised the sun yet?"
"Nope." He replied. "Which is good because I need to talk to you without Twilight bursting in."
"Okay, so what did you want to talk about?" She asked.
"I have a proposition," Discord started as he sat next to Katie. "Would you like to continue being a foal, or would you like to 'grow up' a little. If you choose option A nothing will change, but if you choose B then I will age you up to a filly for one day. Be noted that if I do age you up you will have to pay that day back by another day as a foal."
Discord looked at her expecting her to say tons of reasons for and against or to sit there and think for hours, but when he looked at her she had a huge smile on her face. "B, option B. I want to pick B," she repeated.
Discord sighed, this was not as fun as he thought it was. Maybe he could have some other fun throughout the day. Katie was still smiling, for whatever reason, she looked up to him as he snapped his lion paw. When the sound of it touched her ears Katie fell straight asleep, he looked at her and snapped one more time before leaving.

When Katie awoke the second time it was due to somepony shouting so loud that some of the items in the room shook. "KATIE WAKE UP IT'S TIME FOR SCHOOL!" It screamed, she instantly recognized it as Twilight's voice. Not moments later Twilight burst into the room magically carrying a dark blue saddle bag ,that resembled Katie's mane, and enough pencils to fill it three times over. "I hope you're ready because we are leaving in ten minuets." Twilight said as if she was in a rush.
Katie glanced at a clock on the wall. "Bit I just woke up," she groaned. "And it's not even 7 am."
"Now now Katie, there is no harm in arriving to school early."
"But the sun still isn't raised." She whined.
"No buts, go get breakfast Spike made pancakes" Twilight sang.
Katie ran straight to the kitchen at the thought of eating solid food again. She charged in while Spike was still cooking and almost bucked the door of its hinges to get to her delicious pancakes. Spike jumped at the sound of the door and turned to see the sight of a very hungry filly trying to get to a plate of pancakes in the middle of the table.
"Oh here you go Katie." He said as he moved the plate closer. The second it was close to her she began to ravenously devour each pancake faster than pony comprehension. "Wow," Spike said in disbelief "you must have really wanted those pancakes." Katie enthusiastically nodded with a mouth full of pancakes.
Just the Twilight walked in still holding the enormous amount of pencils. "Twili- mom isn't that too many pencils?" Katie asked while thinking where Twilight would find this many pencils.
Twilight put all the pencils on the table. "Oh nonsense you can never have too many pencils. Now get your saddle bag so I can put them in." Twilight said.
Katie ran upstairs still remembering the time she had to be at school by and retrieved the bag from by her bed, When she entered the kitchen she threw it on the table. When she caught eyes on the bag Twilight began stuffing the bag full to the brim of pencils.
With a bag full of pencils on her back and an extremely annoyed dragon in the kitchen Katie thought it was about time to actually go to school.

With the school yard in sight Katie picked up the pace for two reasons. One: Twilight would not stop talking about how one day Katie could be the smartest pegasus in Equestria, and two: she actually liked school.
When Katie was a filly she was bullied pretty badly in school, but out of school she always practiced her flying. She would challenge every pegasus her age to a race and if she lost she would practice for weeks before trying again. When everypony saw how well she was doing they began to go easy on her and eventually respect her. The idea of doing all this again not only excited her it also worried her. Katie had seen the results of bullying first hoof and she knew that this school wasn't well known for it's friendly classmates.
Slowing down as she reached the front door and noticed something off, She looked around and confirmed her suspicions. No pony was here. Katie looked up to the sun by its positioning it should be about 8:30. So where was everypony. She pushed the doors with all her strength but nothing worked. By this point Twilight had caught up to her and began to get confused. "Where is everypony?" Twilight asked. Katie shrugged and continued to push the door.
Meanwhile Twilight began to think about if she made a spell that caused ponies to be invisible. Then she thought of something more rational, the days of the week. Twilight blushed red at her mistake and let out a lone."ooooooooooooooooh."
"What is it?" Katie asked.
"I forgot it is a Saturday," she said giggling nervously.
"WHAT!" Katie screamed loudly. "Your telling me you woke me up while it was still dark, rushed me around the house and flooded me with pencils. ON A SATURDAY!"
Twilight backed away slowly, she did not want to be anywhere near a raging filly especially if it was born out of an alicorn princess. "Hey look it's Apple Bloom." Twilight said as she pointed into a direction. Katie made the mistake of looking for the yellow earth pony because the next thing she heard was a "poomf" and Twilight was gone.
Before she could complain anymore Apple Bloom shouted over to her. "What yall doin' by the school? Didn't ya know it's a Saturday." After hearing this Katie hit her head on the school door, already regretting choosing option B. Thanks Discord I appreciate this she thought sarcastically.
She was snapped out of her thoughts by a yellow hoof waving in front of her. "What?" She said shaking her head.
"Ah said do you want to come crusading with me and my friends?"
"But I already have my cutie mark." Katie replied.
"That doesn't mean you can't come play with us."
"Okay fine," she said. "As long as there is no crazy games like raising somepony from the dead."
"We only did that once." Apple Bloom whined.

Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Katie's heart was pounding as she tried to keep up with the speed demon known as Rainbow Dash. Her wing were flapping as fast as physically possible for the light grey Pegasus. Corner after corner she tried to go faster but ended up going slower. The finish line In sight she pushed herself to go faster, only a few meters away from the finish line she could here the crowd already cheering for Rainbow Dash. Hearing this immediately stop and feel sad for her self. She flew to the finish line still panting "Wow Rainbow Dash you really are the fastest Pegasus in Equestria."
"Yeah I know, but you were the biggest challenge I have ever faced. No hard feelings right?" Rainbow Dash asked Katie who was still trying to catch her breath.
"I would never have hard feelings against you, all I need to do is train more then maybe I could beat you." She replied now fully recovered from the race.
"Well I think that everyone is waiting for us so should we meet our friends?" Rainbow offered.
Katie thought about this for a second and replied "No thanks. I need to sleep after a race with you and I don't think I am in the mood for a party to celebrate losing a race."
Rainbow's smile was replaced with a frown "oh ok." She said simply. It sadend her that Katie didn't get along with Pinkie Pie but Katie had a good reason to not like Pinkie. When Katie showed up she got a party before she even met anyone and let's just say when Katie found out half the town broke into her house she really was not happy.
As Katie flew home Rainbow Dash headed to the ground where her friends were. "Where is Katie going Rainbow Dash?" The unsurprisingly energetic earth pony asked.
"She uh went to get some rest at home. Why?" The Pegasus asked.
"Because I wanted to invite her to a party silly."
"Why are you throwing a party though?" Rainbow Dash questioned.
"To celebrate Katie losing the race duh."
Instead of Rainbow Dash replying this time it was the white unicorn to add something to the argument. "Pinkie Pie that is so insensitive, would you like it if someone threw you a party if you lost something?" Rarity said instantly realising her mistake. "WAIT DON'T ANSWER THAT!" She screamed.
Meanwhile Twilight watched the ponies talk with a sad face. Apple Jack saw this and walk up close to her. "What's wrong Twilight?" she asked in a caring voice.
"It's nothing I'm just thinking that Katie moved here with no family and so she has to live in her house all alone."
"Don't worry Twilight she will be ok we are her friends."
Sitting on top of a pink cloud was a certain Draconequus with a evil smile of his face and with the snap of his fingers there was a blinding white light then nothing...
