The beginning of winter.... and the fall of Princess Celestia?

When the Purple swirls had increased and caused some ponies breathing problems, Applejack,Rarity,Pinkie pie, Flutter shy,Twilight Sparkle and Spike had huddled up in Twilight's house. The scared ponies were soaking wet, as it had just started to rain, and they were exhausted  from helping all the young ponies find a safe place to stay until all this should blow over. But wit if it didn't? Pinkie Pie was the first one to speak. "HEY guys!" Everypony stared at her with an expression that said: Really..? this is an emergency! Pinkie pie didn't notice and finished her sentence- "I know i am usually the one to cheer things up, but i'm having a hard time giggling at the ghosties. if Princess Celestia... Isn't the ruler of our 'perfect' land anymore, who will take over? Discord? Nightmare?" We all considered this, and though all our minds had numbed because of all the things that had happened today, everypony knew that she was right. Some evil power would take over, and we would be left with some evil power would take over.

But who?

A Scream from the corner, and rarity's half blow dried hair electrocuted in a brilliant spark of lights.Everypony gasped, and a slightly toasted Rarity sighs and fluffs her new Afro.Twilight Sparkle giggled and shook her head, regaining focus on a book she had picked up."It says here that long ago, something very similar to this happened." Everypony crowded around her, wanting to find out how to save their precious Princess Celestia. "According to Anchient legend,Celestia's very own mother once ruled a harsh and cruel rule, saving the lavish riches for only her closest friends and advisors. Little did she know, a traitorous 'close friend' would soon take over and end the suffering for the ponies." Pinkie Pie squirmed a bit in her position and   smiled. "I LOVE Story time!" she nudged Twilight Sparkle to go on.
