"Hey Tavi, just thought I'd call. I got the Bear you sent for my birthday, it was really cute. (muttering) and expensive... So I saw your concert in Hoofington, on the Television of course, you were great. Well, I'm going out for a couple of drinks, good luck on the Equestrian Tour!"

There is a heavy sigh. "Hey Tavi. Third month of the tour. I hope you're having fun. I never really got that kind of music you play, but it is pretty cool I guess. I didn't do much today, my own music has been rather, dark as of late. I've played a few gigs here and there, enough to keep the rent up, by the way, thanks for sending your half of the rent still. At least I know you kind of remember me. Oh, I didn't mean that you--" It picks back up again, "Stupid time limit, I didn't mean that you don't remember me. I know you do. Well, have a good one Tavi."

"Tavi, I heard you did great in Manehatten. Really blew the roof off that place, or whatever you call it when you're playing actual instruments. So Trottingham next huh? I played there once." There is a choking sound. "So uh, I have to go, call me as soon as you can, kay?"

"You know, without your answering machine thing, I think by now I would have forgotten your voice. Then again maybe not, you have one of those unforgettable voices you know. I would like to hear from you again, but I know how busy it can get. As for my day, it went okay. I got a ticket to the Grand Galloping Gala. For some reason it doesn't excite me like it should. I hear the music isn't as good as it was when you played. Maybe I'll just give my ticket to somepony else. Nah, that seems stupid. Well, I'll tell you about it after it happens.

"So I did some digging around in our closets and found a lot of interesting things. Remember those shades I had on, the day we met? The ones you accidentally smashed? Yeah, for some reason, those were in there." There is a sad laughter, "I remember that day. It was in the Spring, the college semester had just begun. Way back then, we had hated each other. I don't know why, all I remember is that I thought you were some pompous know it all, who's style of music sucked. I was wrong on two accounts. I still think you're a little pompous. I don't actually know the definition of that. Hmm...

"Well, I found some other stuff to. Like that can of green spray paint. That had to have been the best prank we ever pulled before, like, ever. That was when we really became friends. I--" It picks back up again "Dammit. Anyways, I had never taken you for the pranking type before that. Oh man, the shit we pulled. You remember that one time I tied a knot in Mr Green's tie? Well, I found the scissors he used to try and undo it, along with the cut off tie!

I miss those days sometimes. Well, sorry for taking up so much of your time. Have a good one Tavi."

"Month Five. It has been Six months, and you haven't tried to reach me once. Seriously, any time of day. The middle of the night, in the morning, when I'm on the toilet. Seriously just call me please? I know you're busy, but you have to have time for just one call! Please, I just want to hear your voice again. Sorry, I didn't mean to sound so needy. "Well, the GGG was a complete bore. The most eventful thing that happened was when I met an old classmate of mine. Remember Colgate? Well it turns out she's a dentist down in the town of Ponyville! Man, the ponies were stuffy, the food was small, and the music was sleep inducing. I guess that's how it goes. Talk to you whenever Tavi."

"I think that's easily the most common thing I hear from you nowadays. It's been nine months. The tour is over. And you're still not here. I don't know what to do anymore." there is a sob, "Please, if you still remember me, please just come home. Even if it's just to say goodbye. I can't stand this anymore. please Tavi, please. I miss you so much. And, and I think I l-" It does not pick up again.
