Luna was coughing and was starting to worry. "TIA!! Please *cough* Answer m-" "WATCH OUT!!" A princess shouted. She covered Luna and an explosion happened. " I have done something terribly wrong L-L-Luna. You HAVE to help m-me! I ca-Cast a spell on some p-p-pony that was trying to steal my book! A-a-a-and they G-g-g-got it!!!!!" Celestia cried. She was sobbing on Luna with anger and sadness. Luna couldn't understand why would her sister be crying over a book! It was one small book! Any pony would be smart enough to buy another one from a bookshop! And who was this "some pony" she was talking about? Was it the thief of the book Celestia was weeping about? Luna had to calm her sister down, and she had to find out what happened. "Tia... What book is that thou you may speak of?" Luna asked politely. " I have never told you o-o-o-of this b-b-b-b-book. I have always kept it but never mentioned anyth-th-th- thing about i-i-it. It's c-c-called the Existence book. OH LUNA!!!!!!! IT's G-G-GONE!!!!!" She wailed Luna was confused. She has never heard of this "Existence book". Was it one of those magical books that held unlimited secrets? " This Existence book... Why is it needed so much my dear sister?" "It is a book wh-wh-where I sign all the ponies who e-e-exist in E-E-Equestria. If o-o-one of the names is cast on to be r-r-r-removed, then all the p-p-ponies that remember the removed pony will never know them. It's like i-if the name was gone,the pony is still there, but the e-e-existance is gone! And one of the most important n-n-n-names I signed is g-gone!! It's the name that the spell w-w-was cast o-o-on!! S-s-some foolish p-p-pony tried to st-st-steal it!!!" Luna started to worry, is this why Celestia was being so protective? She must have known some pony was coming soon and tried to protect it! Why hadn't Luna known of the vision? There must have been a mistake! But she didn't have time to worry now. She had to find out whose name was cast off! "You must answer with no hesitation on this question. Whose Name Was Written Off?" Demanded Luna in a soothing tone. "Twilight Sparkle." "Wake up!! Who the hay are you!?!?!?! Get out of here!!" Twilight woke up and fell off of her bed. Her mane was messy, as usual, but something was a bit off. " Get off of this bed!! Why are you here?" Someone roared in her face. It was spike. His little purple skin flared with anger and confusion. As did twilight's. The only difference was that twilight was in more of a daze than in anger. Why is spiking asking her to get out of bed? Was there an emergency? Had Pinkie blown up another cannon instead of an ACTUAL party cannon? All of the questions started piling up in a very inconvenient way. IT even made Twilight's head a little nauseous. "What's the problem Spike? Why did yo-" "MY PROBLEM!? WHAT"S YOUR DAMN PROBLEM?" Spike flared with anger. "Spike, I-" "GET OUT!!!!!" "But I-" "I SAID GE-" " SPIKE!!!!! WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME LEAVE MY HOUSE!? WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU!?" There was a sudden pause between both of them. They were either mad with fury or confused with doubts. Spike lifted his eyebrow up to show his doubt upon Twilight. They knew that there was something wrong, but stood there, doing nothing for a full 2 minutes. Suddenly, there was knocking on the door. Spike opened it, giving a nasty glare at twilight. He slowly turned the doorknob, which made a low creaking noise. There, stood in front of the door were Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, and Pinkie Pie. Rarity's hair glistened and she stood, frowning with Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack. They all suddenly looked..... Different. It was perfect timing for them to arrive. Twilight fel like she was going to have an ongoing standoff with spike. Fluttershy took an awkward look at Twilight and soon hid her pink fluffy mane in front of her face. Every one stared at her awkwardly. Pinkie didn't do anything except stare. "OOH-OOH-OOH!!!!!!!THERE"S A NEW PONY HERE!!!!!!!!!! But... BUT I FORGOt to bring my PARTY CANON!!!!!!! " Pinkie said in a hurt, but cheerful mood. "This isn't any pony I know! She was just sleeping on this extra bed and I told her to move it!" Spike exclaimed. There was a burst of whispering afterwards. "THIS pony came out of nowhere?" "Look at her dreadful mane! " "This suger cube ain't any pony from the West!" " She's totally NOT awesome." Twilight had enough of this petty nonsense. It had gone too far. She checked her calender if it had been pony fools day, but there was nothing even close to that. It was actually the time of hearts and hooves day! How could her friends be joking about not knowing her? None of them were even showing signs of laughter or sarcasm. She stood there, wondering why none of her friends knew her. She checked the mirror to see if maybe there was a misunderstanding or if her face was different. Nope, She was the same old twilight that everyone SHOULD have known. Maybe they were doing a prank without her knowing? Everyone was mysteriously looking at her, as if she was a stranger! Rarity whispered to Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash with a disgusted and concerned face. Twilight understood this was NO joke and everyone did not know her. " WHY DON"T ANY OF YOU KNOW ME!? APPLE JACK! She had also wish she wasn't so logical because of the sudden accurate circumstances, it wasn't fake. Everything that had just happen was real, and Twilight was sure it was going to get worse. At that moment, Luna stood, trying to show courage and no sign of gratitude at Celestia's big purple eyes. " I-I- I will check at the old library for c-clues. Y-you... do w-whatever you like." Her tears dropped one by one down the grand hall that was burnt and destroyed of the explosion. Celestia didn't think her sister was garbage. She did not fake the worry of Luna getting sent to the moon. She only regretted everything that had happened just now. But now was not the time to be worrying. She had to find the book. She could apologize later and save a sorrowful bucket of sorry's for later. Celestia stood up and trotted down the halls towards the road and headed to the Old sister palace. There, she would find clues to this mysterious pony's whereabouts. When she entered the palace, she felt something weird. Something as if someone was spying on her. Oh Celestia. You sometimes think of the most invulnerable imagination. Or is it my imagination? " So the dear Celestia has finally come. Now, she shall return her payment and I will show her that I should rule in Equestria. Muahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!" BUMP! Twilight was dazed at the crash. Her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment when she hadn't noticed where she was going. What are you thinking Twilight!? Are you insane!? You should have never even thought of leaving Ponyville in the first place! Twilight stood, catching her balance from all the dizziness. She decided to apologize to whoever she bumped into AND apologize for to her friends for leaving. Rubbing some mud off, She said a polite but weary sorry. "Oh its okay. I got used to it." It was a stallion. He brushed his orange coat off and fixed his mane. His cutie mark was a sign of a shield with a yellow flash on top of it. Flash. Was it really true? Was it really him? He stood up and took hold of twilight's hoof. He picked her, with cheeks that were as bright as cherries. " F-f-Flash?" Twilight stuttered. He stared with confusion. "Do I know you from somewhere?" She probably has already left to the far end of equestria by now! And to correct, she is COMPLETELY as insane as a filly!!" Rarity comforted her (Such a way to comfort Aj!). " Yeah! They raced off together, leaving the rest of the mares, and dragon, in an awe of surprise. Twilight was exhausted by the time she came to the library. She was panting hard. All that running to get to a library, huh? I guess I'm too much of a bookworm. Entering the big old sister library, she peered through some of the rooms to check if somepony was there. An icky feeling swept through her nostrils. It smelled worse than a bear covered in fish bones! Now let's explore the magnificent texture of books, magic, and.... more books! Twilight hurled her self to every room she found. She than realized that she hadn't checked to see if anyone was there. "Hello?" She called out. Silence. She slowly started creeping around the library a bit, untill.... "AAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" "EEEEEEEEEH!!!!" Twilight screeched. "MAH CELESTIA!!!!" "I'M SCARED!!!!!!" BUMP!!! " Twilight?" Twilight thought she was to blame for all this. Apple jack and Fluttershy were trying to make the princess feel better. Oh Celestia! I'm so so sorry! "It's okay Twilight, Y-you weren't to be blamed for this trouble that I have caused you. Please. D-d-don't feel p-pity." Celestia sniffled. Celestia gave a slight whisper to both Apple Jack's and Fluttershy's ear. Then she flew away, not even saying goodbye. I'm not feeling pity for you princess, I'm only sorry that i have caused you so much trouble. Twilight sighed. Nothing can make Celestia stop reggretting the big mistakes she had done. Not even her sister! The sorrow that Twilight had was too much on her little pony shoulders. What do I do now? She knew that Fluttershy and Aj were going to probably take her to an asylum telling the nurse that Twilight was a mad, funky looking, and confusing princess. It's too much to handle. Too much. "C'mon missy princess! We got some showing around ta do!" Apple Jack exclaimed. "Yeah!! Oh and by the way, your name is Twi- Twi..... umm..." "Twilight Sparkle. Please don't call me princess Aj. It's more of a fight if Twilight belongs in their ordinary lives, or if she should go to the homeless ponies at a desert. Twilight had to break up the fight, so she had to do the only choice that was going to make them stop, which was..... "EVERY PONY, SHUT UP!!!!!" That did the trick. Everybody had been quiet and shut their little mouthes. Rarity and Fluttershy was scared to death, Rainbow Dash and spike looked like they were gonna pick up a fight, and Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie just stood. It hadn't been long since the interruption was over and spike began talking once more. "Why do we have to listen to you!?" "Because you don't know anything, spike!" She growled. "Now I want you to stay quiet and let me tell you who I am and why I know you guys, al-" "I'm not going to start listening to all these pieces of ju-" "SPIKE!! YOU SHUT THE HAY UP, OR JUST GET OUT!!" Twilight roared. He had done nothing and didn't know how to reply. Twilight was still in fury for what had happened. Now, she finally had the chance to talk and not get interrupted by anyone. Looks like nothing went accordingly to what she thought. After her temper, Rainbow dash and spike both left, glaring into twilight's eyes with hatred. Pinkie Pie just frowned a bit and then hopped to sugar cube corners, pretending as if nothing even happened. Rarity, Apple Jack, and Fluttershy decided to stay. "Ugh! Nothing is how it's supposed to be! First I bump into you guys pushing me around, then I bump into Celestia, and now I have to go throught the fact that none of you guys will listen to me!" Twilight cried. "Oh sugarcube! It's alright to feel left out. I mean.. Why din't you just tell US your li'l story? We will try to figure out how to talk rainbow and Spike some sense." Apple Jack comforted. Twilight sighed. This is turning out worse than I expected. "Thank you. Now lets start off with the basics of who I am. Her turquoise, purplish mane was already dusty and filled with little shreds of moss. Her hooves was all ugly and rusted and her coat was icky and had a stench of old books. When Celestia passed by two more rooms, she found what she was looking for. Ah, My old Library! Memories of her as a young mare started swirling through her head. I always used to come to this Library and learn some magic spells here. It was a quite peaceful time. Mother and Father would go to work while Luna and I- . Her peaceful imagination stopped. Luna. She decided that it was time to head back to Canterlot and give Luna an apology. Just then, a cackling laughter filled the room. "Who are you?" Celestia demanded " Muahahahah, I reply! Oops! Oh Narrator! You forgot to put the parenthesi-" Narrator: Shut up and get on with the story! "Fine...." "WHO ARE YOU!!!!" Celestia demanded once again. There was silence for a full 2 minutes. Then, a shadow came lurking from the chandelier above Celestia. She gasped frighteningly, not knowing what to do. She started running for her lives. It's not much of a duty of a princess but what else could you do? She pretty much slept during her magic safety lesson when she was a filly. Anyone would've slept through it... But not Luna. She knows how to take care of anything! Oh Luna! Help me!!! "You can't run from me... Don't you remember what happened after you removed Sunset Shimmer's name from the book? You pretty much have ALL my magic and now I'm a pony that has a horn that is no use for any freakish reason!!!" The mysterious voice suddenly came familiar. "Marista Roseblood? Is that you? I never thought you would come back! Come show your face!" Celestia cried. She was overjoyed. It was one of her best friends! She had gone missing a while after the "Sunset incident". Just to see a friend come back to her world is more pleasing than Celestia could imagine! But something was wrong. The mare that was a shadow to her had finally come. Celestia was expecting to see the beautiful red mane that her best friend possessed and a rich creamy coat that made her amber fiery eyes ignite. Her imagination twisted the minute the mare's face was shown from the light in the room. She was not the pretty Marista Roseblood. This was the Marista that had a disgusted face. There was no beautiful amber eyes. There was a scar on her that was more red than Marista's mane itself! Everything was so.... Icky! "So you haven't been listening to a word I said. That's just insulting." Marista gagged. She positioned herself, ready to face revenge. It was going to be difficult for her to smush her little friend's face, but she sweeped those thougths away and put in future thoughts. A handsome colt that cares for her, a beautiful palace tht was better than Celestia's, and her most favorite part, revenge. Her stomping echoed through the hard, marble floor. Forgot the part where Tia was faking her act of joy and she was getting prepared to give a smack. Sorry Marista! "You brat..." Marista hissed. "Who may you be speaking to?" Celestia calmly asked. There was a grin that showed no sign of respect to Marista. "I have forgotten about the past. Now I take what I can to save the future. When did tracking down a book become so hard? Twilight grumbled and groaned. It's been 4 hours and there were no sign of a simple book! Rarity had left to take care of her boutique and Fluttershy needed to check on her animals quickly, Even though she will be back by the time they found something useful. Hmmm. Were there ever any secret underground passages? Spike had gone through one of them, but Twiight was a bit afraid to ask where it was. Apple Jack paused for a moment. "Hey Twilight? You ever found a book with a torn page? I might've found a piece to it. But it's written in a weird language I ain't knowin' of." " Oh! Okay. Can you give it to me? I might be able to decipher it." Twilight exclaimed. There was finally a spark of hope. Later when Aj gave the piece of torn paper, It seemed that Twilight's "spark of Hope" was going to be extinguished. She was in such a state that Twilight felt like vomiting. Then, Twilight finally came back to her senses. It was already dark. She should be going to sleep by now! After a moment or two, Twilight started feeling drops on her face. She looked above her into the clouds. The sky started turning gray. Then, more drops started coming down. They were coming down so hard, it hurt twilight's mane. She started running from a random direction. Ah! A cave! I should be dry in there! Twilight headed into the dark hole. It was a bit dusty, but dry too. Twilight called out "hello" before coming in. There was silence. Soon, she found some moss in a corner and piled them up to make a bed. Afterwards, she got some wet pieces of wood and started creating a fire. She made sure it was far from the rain so that it wouldn't beput out so easily. She was starting to get all technical and book worm-ish like she always does, but Rarity seemed to swoosh those "techy" thoughts away. She swiped her to the boutique and started working on an outfit. She hummed a song to herself while stitching from left to right. She looked a bit Disgusted to say the name of who she was talking about. "Discord." "It's been two hours Goldie. I need to go now." Apple Jack sighed. She had wished not to even leave in the first place, but Aj knew that Twilight didn't show up because she forgot. She was hiding something from her. The curly gray maned pony glanced at her with sadness. Her eyes were starting to fill with tears and less enthusiasm. "I hope ya find your frien'. She wanted to see me tonight, right? Twilight had always thought that Fluttershy would have flood her whole cottage with tears of fright by now, but to her every surprise, everything was as peaceful and calm s ever before. I sometimes snoop in her castle and see where my dear Fluttershy's name is on. Anywho, it is possible for an alicorn of strong power to remove the name. But that would cause the pony, whose name was written off, to seem to not appear in the world. That's why everyone will you know will forget you and you would pretty much not exist. Though, most of the body parts of the pony will start to vanish in the last ten days of one moon. So if Twilight doesn't find a way to get her name signed back into the book, she will comepletely vanish and not even be part of our realm." There, you happy now?" Twilight had caught up with each and very word Discord had said. That's when Rarity gave a little gasp. "Oh my! i completely forgot you had a date with some stallion! Now lets go and you could hear the rest of our story tomorrow." Rarity said. She gestured Twilight out the door. Taking one small step at a time, she walked out the door. "Oh dear! It's seven thirty! Let us be gone. Fluttrshy, please ask every one to come over to your place for a meeting. And one more thing, can you make sure blueblood doesn't knock on my door. He is so... wretched!" Fluttershy gave a small nod. "Yes Rarity, I will. Have fun Twilight!" Twilight didn't reply. She only gave a thought into what Discord was saying and trotted forward. Her mane was disordered and needed fixing again. Oh Lord. I wish I knew what the hay is going on...
The surpriseBOOM!! The Blue maned mare was unaware of her sister's doings and decided to check what was going on. "TIA!!! TIA!!" She was nowhere to be found. Smoke started filling up everywhere. Luna was coughing and was starting to worry. "TIA!! Please *cough* Answer m-" "WATCH OUT!!" A princess shouted. She covered Luna and an explosion happened. " I have done something terribly wrong L-L-Luna. You HAVE to help m-me! I ca-Cast a spell on some p-p-pony that was trying to steal my book! A-a-a-and they G-g-g-got it!!!!!" Celestia cried. She was sobbing on Luna with anger and sadness. Luna couldn't understand why would her sister be crying over a book! It was one small book! Any pony would be smart enough to buy another one from a bookshop! And who was this "some pony" she was talking about? Was it the thief of the book Celestia was weeping about? Luna had to calm her sister down, and she had to find out what happened. "Tia... What book is that thou you may speak of?" Luna asked politely. " I have never told you o-o-o-of this b-b-b-b-book. I have always kept it but never mentioned anyth-th-th- thing about i-i-it. It's c-c-called the Existence book. OH LUNA!!!!!!! IT's G-G-GONE!!!!!" She wailed Luna was confused. He slowly turned the doorknob, which made a low creaking noise. There, stood in front of the door were Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, and Pinkie Pie. Rarity's hair glistened and she stood, frowning with Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack. They all suddenly looked..... Different. It was perfect timing for them to arrive. Twilight fel like she was going to have an ongoing standoff with spike. Fluttershy took an awkward look at Twilight and soon hid her pink fluffy mane in front of her face. Every one stared at her awkwardly. Pinkie didn't do anything except stare. "OOH-OOH-OOH!!!!!!!THERE"S A NEW PONY HERE!!!!!!!!!! But... BUT I FORGOt to bring my PARTY CANON!!!!!!! " Pinkie said in a hurt, but cheerful mood. "This isn't any pony I know! She was just sleeping on this extra bed and I told her to move it!" Spike exclaimed. She raced out the door, Crying and hoping it was not a nightmare. If it was, She was going to make sure she wail in the ever free forest and make it flood with tears. "HEY WAIT!!!! I SAID SORRY!!! I DIDN'T MEAN TO-" Spike started yelling, but Twilight was too far for her to hear. Why is this happening to me Celestia? Why? Help me!!. Twilight prayed to celestia that her nightmare was fake. She had also wish she wasn't so logical because of the sudden accurate circumstances, it wasn't fake. Everything that had just happen was real, and Twilight was sure it was going to get worse.

It was a stallion. He brushed his orange coat off and fixed his mane. His cutie mark was a sign of a shield with a yellow flash on top of it. Flash. Was it really true? Was it really him? He stood up and took hold of twilight's hoof. He picked her, with cheeks that were as bright as cherries. " F-f-Flash?" Twilight stuttered. He stared with confusion. "Do I know you from somewhere?" "Oh... Ummm.." She knew that since no one knew her, Flash Sentury wouldn't have known her either. "N-no... I umm... I-" "It's okay. You probably heard my name from the canterlot guards. Right?" "Yeah! Totally! I, er, heard you from the guards? What guards?" Twilight asked. " Ya know! The guards that protect canterlot and the crystal empire?" "Oh, Umm.... Yeah!" She blushed with embarrasment. I can't believe I'm such an idiot sometimes! Her face was a bit rusty and bad but she had to find out why she was so... invisible. Maybe Celestia knows? No, I don't want to disrupt them from their work. I guess there is nothing to do but introduce myself! " I haven't really introduced myself to you. I'm princess Twili-" " PRINCESS?!?!?" He gasped. " OH! I mean I'm Twilight Sparkle!! Not.. umm... a princess!" She rephrased. "Don't joke around with me... princess.. You have wings AND a horn!! You ARE a princess! I didn't mean to bump into you! I-I guess I wasn't polite! I'm so sorry and I-I-" She giggled a bit. Twilight didn't know that Flash would be such a prankster! On the other hand, He didn't know her, so it wouldn't be too surprising to hear it. " It's okay. I know it's hard to belive it. You probably never heard of me before, have you?" "No... I guess I didn't study to much in foal-school..." "And you somehow managed to become a guard, huh?" She laughed. " I- er...." "It's okay. Anyway it's nice meeting you. I have to go right now." Twilight said. She knew she had to go even thought she was too busy having way too much fun. " Oh.. Umm... Alright! Nice meeting ya, Princess?" Flash asked. " Oh come on! I don't like going formal you know! Just call me twilight!" She giggled once more. " Okay then, Ms. Twilight!" "Ugh! It's just Twilight!" Twilight said, Laughing histerically. " Hehe. Hey, Are you free this week? I don't really men to bother you or anything, I just wanted to know just in case." " I'm fine anytime. Thank you for asking!" Twilight smiled. Twilight started walking away when she had an idea. " Hey! Do you want to come wi-" He was gone. I guess he left. She breathed out a sigh. Twilight knew that she was way too young to have a colt friend, not that she liked him or anything. Did she? It was like a mystery to her. It even made her think how she doesn't know secrets that were actually her own. It became such an enigma she almost forgot that she was supposed to look for some way to find out how she isn't real. Was she supposed to be real in the first place? So many questions to answer, in such little time, she thought to herself. It's time for me to know some secrets... And secrets that need to be answered.

She probably has already left to the far end of equestria by now! And to correct, she is COMPLETELY as insane as a filly!!" Rarity comforted her (Such a way to comfort Aj!). " Yeah! And she thought we were her friends!" Rainbow Dash added in. " Aww!! You guys are such silly fillies! Now..., WHEN are we gonna have a PARTY!!!?!?!?!?!?" Pinkie screeched. " Ya guys don't know nothin'! Maybe We were Supposed to know her somehow?" Apple Jack said. " I'll go after her with you Apple Jack." Fluttershy sheepishly exclaimed. " Thank ya Flutters. But are you sure you could do that? I mean, you still have a "husband" to attend to." " So what!? Are you guys insulting my , so called husband? And by the way , his name is Discord!" She growled "You got alot more courageous Flutters! C'mon, We don't want you tearing up the library because of me insulting your husband." Apple jack chuckled. They raced off together, leaving the rest of the mares, and dragon, in an awe of surprise. Twilight was exhausted by the time she came to the library. She was panting hard. All that running to get to a library, huh? I guess I'm too much of a bookworm. Entering the big old sister library, she peered through some of the rooms to check if somepony was there. An icky feeling swept through her nostrils. It smelled worse than a bear covered in fish bones! Now let's explore the magnificent texture of books, magic, and.... more books! Twilight hurled her self to every room she found. She than realized that she hadn't checked to see if anyone was there. "Hello?" She called out. Silence. She slowly started creeping around the library a bit, untill.... "AAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" "EEEEEEEEEH!!!!" Twilight screeched. "MAH CELESTIA!!!!" "I'M SCARED!!!!!!" BUMP!!! " Twilight?" "Applejack?" "Fluttershy?" "Princess Celestia?" All four mares, including Celestia screeched again with worry. " Princess Celestia!!! I mean, you probably don't know me but I'm -" "Twilight Sparkle?" Celestia said, giving a little laugh to herself. Twilight's eyes widened, " How do you know? I thought no-" "Because of me.... No one knows you because of me." She answered. Her face was feeling grief. Celestia's eyes started forming tears. Twilight couldn't believe what she saw, the princess, crying? No. She was wailing. Oh god above! What has happened? Twilight thought she was to blame for all this. Apple jack and Fluttershy were trying to make the princess feel better. Oh Celestia! I'm so so sorry! "It's okay Twilight, Y-you weren't to be blamed for this trouble that I have caused you. Please. D-d-don't feel p-pity." Celestia sniffled. Celestia gave a slight whisper to both Apple Jack's and Fluttershy's ear. Then she flew away, not even saying goodbye. I'm not feeling pity for you princess, I'm only sorry that i have caused you so much trouble. Twilight sighed. Nothing can make Celestia stop reggretting the big mistakes she had done. Not even her sister! The sorrow that Twilight had was too much on her little pony shoulders. What do I do now? She knew that Fluttershy and Aj were going to probably take her to an asylum telling the nurse that Twilight was a mad, funky looking, and confusing princess. It's too much to handle. Too much. "C'mon missy princess! We got some showing around ta do!" Apple Jack exclaimed. "Yeah!! Oh and by the way, your name is Twi- Twi..... umm..." "Twilight Sparkle. Please don't call me princess Aj. And Fluttershy, when did you become so assertive?" Twilight giggled. "I learned it more from Discord... It's not too mean, right?" Fluttershy sheepishly asked. "No! Not at all!" "Heya Twilight? How'd ya know our names?" Apple Jack suddenly questioned. "It's a long story... What about I tell you all about it tomorrow?" "Sure thin'! Wait, where are ya sleeping? " I don't know... the grass?" "Why don't you stay at my place tonight? I bet Discord wouldn't mind! I don't think you should go back to the library yet. Spike has had a terrible mood for the past couple of days....." Starting out bad"WHAT!!!! I'M NOT ALLOWING A FREAK LIKE HER TO-" "RAINBOW DASH!!!! Show some respect!" Rarity exclimed. "Why do I have to allow HER in the library to stay!! She said that this was her bed!!!! She's insane!!" Spike argued. Everyone was going crazy and started arguing with each other. But this is no ordinary fight. It's more of a fight if Twilight belongs in their ordinary lives, or if she should go to the homeless ponies at a desert. Twilight had to break up the fight, so she had to do the only choice that was going to make them stop, which was..... "EVERY PONY, SHUT UP!!!!!" That did the trick. Rarity and Fluttershy was scared to death, Rainbow Dash and spike looked like they were gonna pick up a fight, and Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie just stood. It hadn't been long since the interruption was over and spike began talking once more. "Why do we have to listen to you!?" "Because you don't know anything, spike!" She growled. Looks like nothing went accordingly to what she thought. After her temper, Rainbow dash and spike both left, glaring into twilight's eyes with hatred. Pinkie Pie just frowned a bit and then hopped to sugar cube corners, pretending as if nothing even happened. Rarity, Apple Jack, and Fluttershy decided to stay. "Ugh! Nothing is how it's supposed to be! First I bump into you guys pushing me around, then I bump into Celestia, and now I have to go throught the fact that none of you guys will listen to me!" Twilight cried. "Oh sugarcube! It's alright to feel left out. I mean.. Why din't you just tell US your li'l story? We will try to figure out how to talk rainbow and Spike some sense." Apple Jack comforted. Twilight sighed. This is turning out worse than I expected. "Thank you. Now lets start off with the basics of who I am. I'm Twilight Sparkle, But you could call me by Twilight or Twi." Trot, trot, trot. Celestia slowly went past the main sister hall. Her turquoise, purplish mane was already dusty and filled with little shreds of moss. Her hooves was all ugly and rusted and her coat was icky and had a stench of old books. When Celestia passed by two more rooms, she found what she was looking for. Ah, My old Library! Memories of her as a young mare started swirling through her head. I always used to come to this Library and learn some magic spells here. It was a quite peaceful time. Mother and Father would go to work while Luna and I- . Her peaceful imagination stopped. Luna. She decided that it was time to head back to Canterlot and give Luna an apology. Just then, a cackling laughter filled the room. "Who are you?" Celestia demanded " Muahahahah, I reply! Oops! Oh Narrator! You forgot to put the parenthesi-" Narrator: Shut up and get on with the story! "Fine...." "WHO ARE YOU!!!!" Celestia demanded once again. There was silence for a full 2 minutes. Then, a shadow came lurking from the chandelier above Celestia. She gasped frighteningly, not knowing what to do. She started running for her lives. It's not much of a duty of a princess but what else could you do? She pretty much slept during her magic safety lesson when she was a filly. Anyone would've slept through it... But not Luna. She knows how to take care of anything! Oh Luna! Help me!!! "You can't run from me... Don't you remember what happened after you removed Sunset Shimmer's name from the book? I told you it was one of the best things you've ever done, but NO, You decided to use up all your magic just to bring back her name! And GUESS WHAT!? Now I'm helpless fool because you used some of MY magic to bring back her existence! And when you used some of it.... You pretty much have ALL my magic and now I'm a pony that has a horn that is no use for any freakish reason!!!" The mysterious voice suddenly came familiar. "Marista Roseblood? Is that you? I never thought you would come back! Come show your face!" Celestia cried. She was overjoyed. It was one of her best friends! She had gone missing a while after the "Sunset incident". Just to see a friend come back to her world is more pleasing than Celestia could imagine! But something was wrong. The mare that was a shadow to her had finally come. Celestia was expecting to see the beautiful red mane that her best friend possessed and a rich creamy coat that made her amber fiery eyes ignite. Her imagination twisted the minute the mare's face was shown from the light in the room. She was not the pretty Marista Roseblood. This was the Marista that had a disgusted face. There was no beautiful amber eyes. There was a scar on her that was more red than Marista's mane itself! Everything was so.... Icky! "So you haven't been listening to a word I said. That's just insulting." Marista gagged. She positioned herself, ready to face revenge. It was going to be difficult for her to smush her little friend's face, but she sweeped those thougths away and put in future thoughts. A handsome colt that cares for her, a beautiful palace tht was better than Celestia's, and her most favorite part, revenge. Her stomping echoed through the hard, marble floor. "Don't get too overjoyed about me. I'm not your best friend anyomore. I WILL get the debt I dese-" POW! Narrator: Oops! Forgot the part where Tia was faking her act of joy and she was getting prepared to give a smack. Sorry Marista! "You brat..." Marista hissed. "Who may you be speaking to?" Celestia calmly asked. There was a grin that showed no sign of respect to Marista. "I have forgotten about the past. Now I take what I can to save the future. Right now, you are an Ally that has betrayed me" The thoughts that Celestia had was waiting, waiting patiently untill it could no longer hide her inner voice. You are my- "Friend?" Roseblood had snickered. "You are the LAST thing I'd call a friend you insolent BRAT!!!" "No...... You are my past. Never forget that. Don't try to twist my words, for you can only see a tread of my heart. Have you ever thought of anything hidden in the truth? "You BASTARD!! I told YOU that before!! I SAID TO FIND THE TRUTH HIDDEN IN -" "Ah, but you have said that for decisions... Not my destiny... Or to be more precise, Twilight's, Am I not right?" Celestia demanded. The war hasn't started, and I'm already become as weak as a mouse. Nothing will work. No words, No curses, No spell. This is useless."You have made my angles go in the wrong direction... But the fight has only begun... farewell, friend." Marista snickered, once again. "Farewell, Ally." "So your a princess of frien' ship?" Apple Jack asked. "Yes." "SO YOU MUST HAVE THE MOST GORGEOUS CROWN!!!! OOOH!!!!" Rarity said. She was pleasently gushing and drooling over Twilight. She giggled ans then smiled."I've never thought everything would turn out like this. It so nice to finally see the lights in your eyes." "Oh... well, we only started knowing about you... Anyway's, are you headed off anywhere at the moment?" Fluttershy murmured. "Actually, yeah. I'm heading to the old sister library. Wanna come?" " YEAH!!!!" They all replied at once. A sparkle flashed across their eager coats. Smiles...... Smiles that possessed their manes and tail. "A friendship that will be destroyed in a maximum of one moon. Get ready to face you doom Twilight Sparkle." Marista grinned.
First a Party, Now a Date?The 2 mares went rummaging book by book. No signs, No information, No... Nothing? When did tracking down a book become so hard? Twilight grumbled and groaned. It's been 4 hours and there were no sign of a simple book! Rarity had left to take care of her boutique and Fluttershy needed to check on her animals quickly, Even though she will be back by the time they found something useful. Hmmm. Were there ever any secret underground passages? Spike had gone through one of them, but Twiight was a bit afraid to ask where it was. Apple Jack paused for a moment. "Hey Twilight? You ever found a book with a torn page? I might've found a piece to it. But it's written in a weird language I ain't knowin' of." " Oh! Okay. Can you give it to me? I might be able to decipher it." Twilight exclaimed. There was finally a spark of hope. Later when Aj gave the piece of torn paper, It seemed that Twilight's "spark of Hope" was going to be extinguished. There were really weird written symbols that didn't make any sense. Probably because Twilight's never seen them before! "Ugh!! I hate this! Anyways, thanks Aj. I don't know what I would've done without you! Now it's time for me to go ho-". Home? Spike didn't even allow her to sit on a bed, let alone stay with him! Twilight knew that Apple Jack had "read her mind" because she gave a little chuckle. "Sorry Sugar! I'm booked with some of mah relatives comin' over. The Apple Family Reunion is coming up!" She then paused for a second. "Hey! Mah Aunt Goldie is comin' over. She loves books, History, and cats! T'morrow I'm havin' a li'l feast. You could come over and get some help from her! But you'll have to be there T'morrow 'cause-" Twilight eyes widened and then gave her friend a squeeze hug. "Thank you so much Apple Jack! You are the best! I'll just sleep on the grass. Thank you so so so much!!!! You're a lifesaver! Thanks! I really have to get going. Bye! I'll talk to you tomorrow!" She zoomed out. Yes! A depressing day saved the best for last! Now, she'll get all the information she needs and and every thing will be back to normal! At least she thought. Twilight had been thinking of what will happen that she didn't realize someone calling her name! "TWILIGHT!! TWILIGHT!!" The voice called again. A stallion had come forwar, panting with sweat. "Hi. There. Twi-Twilight!" Flash said. "Oh my gosh Flash! Are you okay? I can't believe I didn't see you before! I'm super sorry!" Twilight gasped. "I'm alright. But I wanted to ask you something..." Plop.... Plop! There was one last petal in the pretty flower. As Luna stared at the flower, she thought to herself why she wasn't tearing up the last of the bloody red rose. She stared at it for a while. She stood up and put the rose in the vase that was decorated with stars, moons, suns, and clouds. It was a gift from her parents. But she only last saw them right before being sent the moon for one thousand years. After that, They were never to be seen aga- " Oh LUNA!!!!" Celestia exclaimed. Narrator: *sigh* I can't even finish a sentence and she bursts in the room. "Oh luna! I have great news to tell you! Marista came back!" "MARISTA!? She's BACK!?" Luna stammered. "Yup! And I'm also sorry about how I shouted at you... Forgive me?" Celestia was hoping to get a "yes of course I will" and let everything go peacefully. Her expectations, though, were highly wrong. Luna hadn't even answered. Her sister was just gaping at her as if she's seen a ghost! "Luna? Are you alright, sister?" She politely asked. "We need to head to the Library." Luna replied. "But I-" "NOW!!" Luna yelled. Oh no! What have I done? This MUST be the reasoning for the disappeared book! They both ran to the rusty "book palace". So many secrets, lies, and worries filled Luna's brain. So much to keep, secretive! "Y-you want t-to have d-d-dinner.... with me?" Twilight asked. She was blushing furiously. Twilight was sure that she was red from ears to hooves. She had never been on a date, not that it was one. Maybe this was just friends hanging out with each other, or maybe it was something more? But the only thing that popped up in that darn mare's had was "SQUEEEEE!!!!". "I know... you'll probably say no... We only met just yesterday and you barely know me but still, if you want you could-" "Sure!!! I'd love to come!" Twilight replied, not thinking through. She felt so nervous and blushed again. Her mane started sweating a bit and she didn't know what else to do. Flash gave twilight a warm smile and said, "Okay! Can I meet you around 7 at Dj's -' He paused for a moment and gave himself a face hoof. "I'm sometimes really stupid. Dj is a mare that hosts parties and stuff like that." "Oh! I know! My friends and I call her Vinyl. I think that was her real name." "Really? okay! We'll meet over at her place? I heard there was a ceremony for some ponies happening tomorrow." "Sure thing Flash! I'll meet you there!" He left quickly, even though it was obvious he was bushing. Twilight adored his way of making her feel better. It was so sweet! Then, a spark of terror came upon her. Don't I also have to go to see Goldie tomorrow at the feast? No! She felt really confused. what would she do? Where would she go? And why did the grand galloping gala come so soon? She was in such a state that Twilight felt like vomiting. Then, Twilight finally came back to her senses. It was already dark. She should be going to sleep by now! After a moment or two, Twilight started feeling drops on her face. She looked above her into the clouds. The sky started turning gray. Then, more drops started coming down. They were coming down so hard, it hurt twilight's mane. She started running from a random direction. Ah! A cave! I should be dry in there! Twilight headed into the dark hole. It was a bit dusty, but dry too. Twilight called out "hello" before coming in. There was silence. Soon, she found some moss in a corner and piled them up to make a bed. Afterwards, she got some wet pieces of wood and started creating a fire. She made sure it was far from the rain so that it wouldn't beput out so easily. In a minimum of 5 minutes, Twilight was soon in a world, where everything was black and nothing could be heard. The world, of dreams and nightmares.
A decision worth finding secretsApple Jack was trotting back and forth. She was waiting for Twilight to come at the feast but there was no sign of her. She didn't forget, did she? Maybe she ws busy doing research? Apple Jack was starting to feel chilly and someone came out to her. It was her favorite aunt, Goldie Delicious. "My dear Apple Jack! What the hay are ya doin' out here in the cold weather?" Her aunt said smoothly. It as quite obvious though, that Apple jack was in a deep thought. The blonde mane that used to be golden and beautiful, was now tired and frozen! "You're waitin' for a friend? Maybe she ain't comin'." Goldie politely mumbled. The both of them sighed a bit. Everyone was having a wonderful roast while Goldie and her niece were outside. "I'm goin' out to see where she's go-" "NO, YA AIN'T GOIN' ANYWHERE!" Goldie cautioned. "BUT, you can go if, you finish the dinner with us. It's not the same without ya Apple Jack. Please, stay!". Goldies voice went from a challenging, to a whimpering voice. The look in her green, envy eyes, were enough for Aj to say yes. "Fine. But ONLY for dinner. Then, I'm outta here!" " I can't really stop your determination, but I can stop you from stayin' in the cold! It's freezin' out here! Come back inside before your granny gets mad at ya!" Apple Jack gave a weird, but happy smile. She stared at the beautiful moon for a couple of seconds and then headed inside. What's happened to ya Twi? Please, Show meh where ya are! Twilight didn't have much to supplement her and decided to stay simple and move along. There was nothing much to do is there? She started walking towards the road when she caught up with Rarity. " My, my dear! You seem to be in hurry! Where are you off to? Wait, let me guess, that old library filled with dust?" She smiled. "No, not this time! I'm actually going to, umm, a dinner?" Twilight awkwardly stuttered. Her face was as red as a tomato. By the looks of Rarity's eyebrows furrowing upwards, she sseemed concerned, in such a funny way! "I'm sorry Twilight. I'm not really buying that. Hold on! You're going on a date!" Rarity pranced. Twilight's eyes widened and she started to blush even more. Though, for some reason, she realized her friends aren't calling her a "princess" anymore. She was starting to get all technical and book worm-ish like she always does, but Rarity seemed to swoosh those "techy" thoughts away. She gasped and looked at Twilight as if she was some sort of monster! "You simply CANNOT go out like this! Come along dearie! You won't be late for your date, I promise! It's at 7, right?" "How d-d-did you know?" Twilight gasped. "Oh my! I thought you were supposedly from ponyville! Oh wait, you're more of a book worm. You see, most dates happen at 7. But sometimes, at late night, like 9 or 10." Rarity chuckled. "Umm... Okay?". It was pretty confusing for even Twilight to handle! Dates happening at 7, Having a special style, Turning into a book worm... It was all so weird! Rarity didn't need to even look at Twilight to understand what she was thinking. She swiped her to the boutique and started working on an outfit. She hummed a song to herself while stitching from left to right. "Thread by thread, stitching it together-" " Twilight's dress, cutting out the pattern snip by snip making sure the fabrics fold nicely, It's a perfect color and so hip-" "Always got to keep in mind my pacing-" "Making sure the clothes correctly facing, I'm stitching Twilight's dress!" "How'd you think of that song?" Twilight suddenly asked. It sounded just like the song she sang when Rarity remembered her. When she last thought back, Fluttershy had named the song, Art of the dress. Rarity paused for a moment. She put her hoof on her mane, rubbing it it with deep thought. It had been surprising to her and Twilight to think of it so suddenly. "I guess, it just came to me. Weird, right?". She gave a hint of embarrassment. Her cheeks flustered a bit and kept going on the gown for Twilight. She had a nervous look on her eyes and bit her lip. Twilight could see from her back that she was sweating a bit. Twilight was ready to hear some "untold" stories from Rarity. "Can you tell me something? Have you ever had any other friends the past weeks? I mean, like before you thought that I was a stranger." She simply asked. Rarity started to sweat even more and in a couple of seconds, stopped sewing. "Twilight." She said, concerned and regretful,"You need to know much more information than what I was about to tell you. I can't really explain what has been happening the past few weeks, but I know someone who might be able to help. We need to see...." She paused for a second. She looked a bit Disgusted to say the name of who she was talking about. "Discord." "It's been two hours Goldie. I need to go now." Apple Jack sighed. She had wished not to even leave in the first place, but Aj knew that Twilight didn't show up because she forgot. She was hiding something from her. The curly gray maned pony glanced at her with sadness. Her eyes were starting to fill with tears and less enthusiasm. "I hope ya find your frien'. She wanted to see me tonight, right? If she can't come by tomorrow mornin', tell 'er that she can come over to my place whenever she'd like. I have a busy life ya know!" She exclaimed. As she talked, her voice came from eagerness to a slight whimper. Poor Goldie. Twi didn't show up an' now I'm in a wild goose chase! "I'll promise to see ya tonight or before ya go back to your place. And by the way, your apple fritter pie was so darn delicious! Can you save some leftovers for mah friends?" She quietly asked. "Of course I will ya young filly! Now head on out before you get lost!" Goldie chuckled. Apple Jack gave a small wave before leaving. She could tell from a mile away that Apple bloom had come and asked where she'd gone. Though, it's time to find out why her friend wasn't coming for such an important event. She ran off to ponyville with a small scent of fury and confusion. Knock,Knock,Knock. The wooden door opened and a long figured body came forward through the shadows. A draquoniquis had given a grunt before emerging through the door. The mish mash of a goat, bat, lion, eagle, Pegasus, lizard, and horse were only a little bit of what you would describe, "King of chaos". "Who is i-...... Ah! If it isn't Twilight Sparkle and her little fashion easter friend, Rarity! Welcome!" Discord gave a warm smile. In the middle of nowhere, he turned into one of those pony waiters that have the furry mustaches that you've always wanted to touch. Though, most of the body parts of the pony will start to vanish in the last ten days of one moon. Fluttershy gave a small nod. "Yes Rarity, I will. Have fun Twilight!" Twilight didn't reply. She only gave a thought into what Discord was saying and trotted forward.
