Are you certain David." Celestia said over a communications video "the fact that Discord escaped is disheartening, however the fact that the enemy knows of your power is of great use to us. Nightmare Moon's forces ended their assault not but an hour ago, and are holding at our gate." Celestia said "But the fact remains, why would discord go after the elements? I fear dark work is at hand." Celestia said as she rubbed her chin.

"Yeah, even during this chaotic attack against Equestria, something feels off. Like the calm before the storm." David added and looked back at Twilight and her friends, aside from Fluttershy who was in the med bay with Applejack. "Good news is the ViP's and Twilight are both safe, and for the most part, good health."

"What does that mean?" Celestia asked.

"Lets just say that AJ has learned that unlike a tree, im something she shouldn't kick" David replied getting a small chuckle out of a couple of the mares.

"Well that is good news." Celestia said and sighed before she straightened her posture "there will be a time to mourn for those lost, but now is not it. If you feel this isn't over, then it most likely isn't. Track down Discord, find who he is working with, and kill them." this caused all the ponies to freeze.

"Yes Princess, it will be done." David said and saluted before the the monitor before it snapped off. holding his helmet in his hands David turned to the ponies who looked frightened, having never heard Celestia speak so darkly. "There are some things i should probably talk to you girls about, follow me to the med bay, A.J. and Flutters need to hear this too." Leading the girls to Applejack and Fluttershy, David stood as the girls sat on free beds or chairs. "Where to began..." David said rubbing his temples.

"I think your escort with me that was an ambush" Twilight said looking over at David. With a nod, David agreed.

"Celestia had ordered me to keep you five in the dark, only Twilight knows about this, But Discord, Sombra, Nightmare Moon and Chrysalis all had joined forces in this assault against Equestria. You have all be made targets." David said looking over the elements."Now, after the ambush, the other human you met, the Master Chief, and i got into a battle, only learning that he was tricked, quickly turned and joined forces. And after Delta showed him footage from the Equis Human war way back, has joined our side. For the same reason i did." David said "but back to what happened in Ponyville. You see, what i did on the battlefield was to scare the enemy into submission, i did this for two reasons. One, was to end the fight faster with minimal blood shed. Two, was revenge, for Discord not only taunting, but threatening to kill twilight back when she had received an invitation for peace talks with Minotauria that ended up being a trap.." David said taking a breath.

"Well shoot, I'd be lying if i said you didn't scare me back there, but sure as sugar am i glade your on our side" Applejack said with a smile "just dont go slapp'n Twi again, hear me bud?"

"Come now darling, look at your leg, i think you'd hurt yourself before you but a scratch on him." Rarity said.

"Yeah he is pretty cool like this and all but only twenty percent as cool as me." rainbow added in.

Fluttershy just eeped as she hid behind Rainbow Dash.

Pinkie went off on some long tangent about left for dead and said something about David being able to take on a hoard of something called "tanks" but David usually just tuned Pinkie out when she went off on a random moment.

"Thanks girls, that means a lot to hear that." David said walking over to the window to gaze down at Equestria. "Where are you?" his eyes widened as he turned and started walking towards the prisoner hold. Walking into the prison hold he glared at his guest.

"So you want to know where discord is no?" Chrysalis said as she smiled at David. "seeing that your still alive and that the elements are with you, and doing well, the battle is in your favor." she said.

"Enough, tell me where discord is." David said glaring at the changing queen as he walked into her cell. "and you may not face execution"

"Give me some of that love of yours and i might talk" she said wiggling her hips "or you can use me as much as you want, and I'll tell you everything."

David got pissed and slapped her hard before garbing her neck and pinning her to the wall and held a blade to her neck just above his hand. "how about this, you dont tell me what i want to know, I'll blow up your little changeling village, think of all those poor, little bug babies, burning in a fire, screaming in agony, and you'd hear ever second of it, wouldn't you, bug." this seemed to rattle chrysalis a little. "now, tell me what i want to know, your children get spared, and I'll spare your life." he said. "oh, and mind games dont work on an ODST, let alone a spartan, so drop your little act"

"He is with creatures not of this world, jaws split and covered in armor. Swords of light and speak of a demon who is described like you." she says "now let me go and please leave my children be". no longer wishing to play games Chrysalis looked down.

"You know, physical love doesn't compare to emotional love, even if it lasted for a million years it wouldn't be a day of true love." David said before he let go of her neck. "Twilight, warn Celestia tell her to have the citizens of Canterlot ready to evacuate to the catacombs." Getting on his radio as he walked out of the prisoner hold he placed on his helmet "Delta, prep a pod with my weapons, and one for Chief."

"Whats going on?" John asked as he grabbed his assault rifle and pistol.

"We have a problem. Discord has elites." David replied. as he neared the command deck "and I got information on the location of Discord." he said stepping into the command deck. "Lets finish this" he said walking over to pull Delta out of his terminal. Just as he did alarms starting blaring.

"Sir I'm getting a slips space rupture." Cortana notified the two.

"Covenant?"

"Signal matches that of a flood ship." Cortana replied. Upon hearing the information Chief and David both froze.
