From her perch atop a lone cloud, Rainbow Dash watched as Applejack and Big Mac trotted off into the orchards of Sweet Apple Acres, ready to begin the day's work. She had been hiding atop the cloud since before sunrise, guiding the cloud along with minute flaps of her wings until it hung in the sky behind the Apple's barn. It was about the only way that the pegasus could get near the barn without the farmer knowing; her friend seemed to have an almost supernatural ability to catch Rainbow Dash sneaking the occasional apples from the stockpile, but as long as she was quick - and I'm totally quick, the mare thought to herself proudly - she'd discovered she could sneak in with the clouds and then zip into the barn's rear hayloft window as the farmer went off to work in the fields and grab an apple or two.
But a snack wasn't exactly why she had been waking up early every day this week to sneak into the barn; even Apple family apples weren't enough to get Dash out of bed with the sun. A few days earlier, the pegasus had discovered that the Apple family had started pressing cider early this year, and already had a good number of barrels stocked up already.
If there was one thing Dash loved as much as speed, it was cider, and she just couldn't stop herself from darting into the barn to sample the year's vintage. Her conscience at first had shouted at her about loyalty, but she had quieted it down with some quick rationalization: It's not like I'm really stealing or anything. I'm just making sure I get my share of the cider before that cider hog Pinkie guzzles it all down! And I'll totally pay Applejack all the bits I owe her for what I drink...
That same justification echoed in her mind as she burst down from the cloud and bolted into the hayloft, the warm, fragrant hay muffling the clattering of her hooves as she skidded to a halt. As always, she held her breath for a few moments and listened intently for any sign that Applejack had heard her, but the barn remained still.
With her belly growling for cider, Dash flew down from the hay loft and walked toward the section of the barn where a stack of barrels stood. The air around her redolent with the delicious smell of apple-y goodness, the pegasus hoofed down one of the barrels, grabbed a sampling mug from nearby, and smacked her lips in anticipation.
Time had passed, but Rainbow Dash wasn't certain how much exactly as her eyes fluttered open. The mare blinked sleepily in the dim light as she tried to figure out where she was. She flapped her wings slowly, stretching as she tried to figure out where she was. For several wingbeats the stacks of empty barrels and tart and heady smell of apples confused her muzzy mind - as did the fact that no matter how she squirmed and stretched, she couldn't seem to touch the ground, nor could she gain any lift with her wings.
When she finally took a moment to glance down at herself, her wings flared out in alarm. Dash was resting on her stomach - a stomach that was almost unbelievably bloated (which explained the dozen empty barrels surrounding her). Her gut was so distended that she could only windmill her hooves in frustration, unable to get any purchase on the barn's floor. She grumbled and cursed quietly to herself but the only result from her frantic flailing was the sloshing and wobbling of the gallons of cider in her gut.
"Fine, walking is out. But I have . . . to . . . get . . .moving! C'mon wings!" growled the pegasus, as she beat her wings furiously. Miraculously, her powerful wingbeats caused her to begin to slowly bounce forward. Her immense tummy jiggled about as she slowly slid along the barn's wooden floor toward the front door; each slipside forward caused the mass of cider within her to quiver, causing her cyna coat to ripple along her abdomen. After several minutes of strenuous exertion, Dash had finally made it near to the front door of the barn.
Then she froze. From outside, she could hear the clop of approaching hoofsteps and a familiar, twangy voice calling out, "Ah'll be in fer lunch in just a sec, Big Mac. Ah'm just gonna check and see if any o' the cider barrels need turnin'."
"Oh, buck me..." muttered Rainbow Dash as she tried in vain to reverse her progress, but it was too late. It had taken her minutes to get even this far, and her friend was only a few moments from opening the door. Her wings drooped in defeat as she heard the bar on the door slide out of the wae.
Appplejack started to step forward into the barn, muttering to herself, "And maybe Ah can take care o' somethin' el..." The orange earth pony paused in shock as she saw the immense, wobbling blue mass of mare in front of her. "D-dash? What in tarnation?"
The pegasus's ears drooped and she blushed crimson beneath her blue coat. "Um - hiya, AJ! I, uh, was just well, y'know . . . passing through and, um . . ."
"And ya'll decided ya'd sneak into mah barn 'n drink up all mah durn cider?!" The red flush on the earth pony was obviously from anger. "Ah cain't believe ya'd do somethin' like this, Dash!"
Dash decided to swipe a page from Rarity's book, and began to whine. "I'm sorry, Applejack! I couldn't help it, your cider is just so good and I never get enough of it when cider time comes around, and well, I saw you were making some extra this year, and I was going to pay you for it! I promise!"
Applejack snorted derisively. "Element 'o Loyalty, huh? I'm mighty upset about this, Dash."
At that moment, a dusty gust of wind blew in through the open barn door. The dust caught Rainbow Dash square in the face, and she let out a huge sneeze as the dirt tickled her nose. Applejack watched in amazement as her friend's body begin to squirm and wobble, her bulk jiggling uncontrollably like one of Mrs. Cake's big holiday puddings.
With a giggle and a snort, the farmer pushed back her Stetson. "Alright, Dash, y'all are gonna pay me back Ah know. I cain't stay made atcha, specially when yer all swollen up like Winona when she got into that nest o' hornets."
A wave of relief crossed the pegasus's muzzle. "Thanks Applejack. I promise on Celestia's mane that I'm gonna pay you back. In fact, I'll even come help with the cider pressing once a week."
Applejack walked over to her friend and braced her hooves against the wobbling expanse of her gut, giving an experimental push. Her hooves sank gently into the sloshing liquid mass, surrounding them with a wiggling warmth. Rainbow Dash giggled. "AJ, that sort of tickles.Careful there."
The orange mare smirked at her inflated friend as she started to push her along toward the door. "Ah cain't wait ta tell the girls about this here li'l mess-up ya got yerself into, Dash. Pinkie Pie's gonna laugh fit to split! Or maybe Ah should save it fer a time when it's yer ego instead o' yer belly that's gotten a mite too large..."
"Whoa whoa whoa! You're gonna tell everypony?!" Dash flapped her wings, halting her forward progress; this caused Applejack to sink up to her fetlocks in the pegasus's warm, wiggly stomach. "Couldn't we just, y'know, keep this between us?"
"Oh hay no, Ms. Rainbow 'Danger' Dash! Ah said Ah'd fergive ya fer the cider if'n ya paid me the bits it'd have fetched, but you're outta yer buckin' mind if ya think I'm gonna keep this quiet." AJ strained her haunches and continued pushing forward, resting her shoulder and head on the rippling cyan fur as she tried to move the bloated mare forward. Despite the strength in her rear legs, the pegasus's frantic wingbeats stymied the farmer's attempts to roll the swollen mare forward. With an annoyed grunt, she stopped and sat down, panting. "Fine, tell ya what. Ah'm gonna have a drink o' cider mahself, and then we'll discuss who's gonna be told what, and what ya might be willin' to do if'n I don't tell."
Applejack kicked the barn door closed and spun Dash around to face back toward the cider press, then trotted over to the greatly-diminished stack of barrels and drew herself a mug of frothy juice. She flopped down before the pegasus and took a long slurp of cider. "So what do ya think y'all can offer me so that Ah don't mention this l'il mistake o' yers?"
"Um, I'll personally handle weather duty over Sweet Apple Acres for a month?" Dash responded hopefully.
"That's a start, but Ah was thinkin' somethin' a li'l different." Applejack grinned as she swiped foam from her upper lip
"Okay then, what do you want?"
"Well, that's the awkward part, ah reckon." Dash noticed the farmer blushing for some reason. "Ah was hopin' maybe I could play with ya just a bit."
Dash cocked her head to the side as if to ask, "Huh?" Applejack continued: "Well, y'see Ah never have time, what with the farm an' all, to uh, take care o' some o' the more, ahem, adult mare thangs that mares need, and . . ."
"Waitasec. Are you . . . are you asking me to - to rut with you?" Dash's eyes went wide with surprise.
Applejack sheepishly nodded and then looked away quickly.
"Wow, um, this sort of came out of left field, AJ. I mean, I like you as a friend and all, but . . ."
"C'mon Dash, y'all never thought about it? Ah was comin' out here ta take care o' somethin' before goin' in ta eat. And findin' ya here sort of put a kink in that rope."
Dash thought hard. It was true that she had thought about it. She loved all of her friends and sometimes, that love went a little deeper than just friendship. Then a thought popped into her head. "Okay, but why in Celestia's name did you choose now to bring it up? I mean, it's not like I'm at my best looking right now "
"Ah like chubby ponies Dash," interrupted the farmer. "Ah like big flank, an' I cannot lie: When Ah saw y'all like that, well. I thought maybe Ah'd have a chance ta actually indulge mahself a bit."
"You mean you actually like me like this?" Dash prodded herself in the stomach as she said this, and felt her body jiggle in response. Applejack bit her lip and nodded; the pegasus noticed the faint whiff of some other scent mingling with the intoxicating fragrance of cider in the air, and blinked in surprise when she realized that the odor was her friend.
Coming to a decision, Rainbow Dash grinned. "Oh, what the buck. It's not like I haven't thought about it before." Then she smirked as she realized her wings were spread. "And I guess it's a fun way to pay you back for all the cider I drank. So, uh, how do you want to . . ."
A hoof to her lips silenced Rainbow Dash, and she looked up into Applejack's face; the farmer's muzzle was split into a mischievous smile. "It's okay, Dashie. Ah reckon ah've over-indulged on cider a bit in mah time. Don't you sweat it none, sugarcube." The grin grew wider. "O' course, y'all know ya shoulda asked first. So Ah am gonna have to teach ya a bit of a lesson."
"What do you mean, teach me a lesson? I thought - what exactly is it you want?" asked Dash apprehensively.
"Oh, don'cha worry so much, Dash. Ah think ya may like it." Applejack stepped out of view for a moment; Rainbow Dash struggled to reach the ground with her hooves so that she could watch what the orange mare was doing, but instead she let out a soft belch as she wobbled on her bloated belly. She could hear a quiet thud and then a rolling noise, and then her friend trotted back into sight - rolling a cider barrel in front of her and with a strange funnel-shaped apparatus, dangling a few leather straps at its sides, held in her mouth.
"Oh no no no noooo, AJ - I can't drink any more. You can just back the buck ofmmmmrrrph!" Dash's protests were cut off once again as her friend deftly slipped the spout of the funnel into her mouth. Before the pegasus could react Applejack had looped the straps around her neck and cinched them loosely, effectively muzzling the mare with the wide end of the funnel facing outward.
By this point, the smile on the orange mare's face had gone from mischievous to downright indecent. "Ah keep this out here in case any o' the livestock need a dose o' Granny's curative; helps ta get it down their stubborn gullets. Don't ya worry none though, it's clean." As Rainbow Dash struggled weakly to roll her liquid bulk away from her friend, Applejack's rear hoof struck the cider barrel with a solid clop, setting it upright within a few inches of her friend. She grasped the bung in her teeth and pulled it free with a POP, then spit the cork onto the floor of the barn.
Dash's eyes started watering as the almost-cloying scent of cider filled the air. Applejack stepped over to her friend and leaned in close to her ear; her warm breath tickled the pegasus as she whispered, "Don't that smell just fine, Dashie? So tasty and sweet? Ah betcha would love to just gulp down the whole barrel, huh?" The farmer seemed to be taking some pleasure in tormenting her immobile friend, and began to rub up against her slowly, causing her swollen tummy to roll and ripple beneath her soft coat. The pegasus shivered as she felt a hoof stroking firmly along her flank.
Then suddenly, the heat of her friend's body was gone. Applejack cantered around behind the barrel and began to tip it toward Dash, propping it against one of the empty kegs. As as it tilted forward golden cider started to froth out into the wide mouth of the funnel. The heavy mare could do nothing but swallow as the cool and tangy juice began to fill her mouth and then gurgle down into her throat into already-turgid tummy. She moaned around the funnel as she felt the cider pouring into her. The pegasus could actually feel her stomach stretching as mug after mug of sweet cider dripped into her. After a few moments of hurried swallowing, Rainbow Dash realized the funnel was empty, and breathed a sigh of relief.
But Applejack was already rolling over another barrel of cider. Within seconds she had bucked the empty keg out of the way and more tangy juice was pouring into the funnel. Caught off-guard, Dash nearly gagged in surprise but then gulped the cider down, whimpering as she felt her taut gut stretching further to accommodate the new flood. She was even more surprised when she realized she could feel a growing dampness beneath her tail, and her own warm juices running down her legs, and thought, Waitasec, is this actually turning me on?
Applejack sniffed the air and then nuzzled the pegasus as she caught the faint scent of Dash's arousal mingling with the apple smell. "Why sugarcube, Ah think yer likin' this, ain'tcha?" Not waiting for a response, the orange mare began to caress that huge, cyan stomach with one hoof, pushing gently into the warm mass, the other hoof slipped back between her own rear legs and begin teasing at her marehood. . "Ah like it too. Ah just love how soft y'all are, so warm and full."
