After taking part in Canterlot's royal summit, Twilight notices a statue while on a walk with Spike and Princess Celestia through the castle garden. After receiving some information on the statue from her former mentor, Twilight eagerly accepts the offer to take the statue home with her.

However, when a stranger reveals the statue's true nature to the Princess of the Day, it becomes a battle of patience and wits, along with the assistance of the stranger, to save Ponyville as well as all of Equestria from this new threat.
