Ponies Destiny to become legend
“Guardian? Wake up Guardian.” A voice rang as Twilight began to wake up. Getting a glimpse of her location, She realised she was under a pile of debris. What the buck is going on? she thought as she pushed the debris off her body. She had hardly any memory of what happened before. She had knowledge. But that was about it. She could only remember part of her name. But what was her full name?
“Ok good. You’re okay. I don’t know how to say this, but you’ve been dead for a long time. It’s okay though. You’re back now and i’m going to explain everything to you as soon as we get out of here. I’ll answer one question though.” The voice said as she looked around to see a Levitating artificial robot nearby.
“Who the buck are you?” She asked wiping the debris off her body. Armour? Why the Buck am i wearing some sort of Armour? she thought inspecting the armor that she wore. It wasn’t very much. Just some plating here and there.
“Me? Well i am a Ghost. Well, i’m your Ghost. I’m here to assist you on your journey. But right now, we need to get you a gun and bring you back to the tower.” The ghost replied disappearing from sight and interacting with Twilight’s armour.
“Where would we find a gun? And where are we anyway?” She asked stretching her limbs.
“I’ll answer later. For now, follow that point on your H.U.D”
Twilight Began to make her way following the point on her H.U.D. She had no idea whether to trust the Ghost or not, but the Ghost seemed to of revived her so it seemed good enough.
“There, up ahead. A hoof cannon. Go grab it. We’ll need it to defend against the Fallen.”
The fallen? A New type of species here? Hmm, there’s alot i don’t know about this place.
Twilight made her way up to the Hoof cannon on the ground. A revolver like weapon that utilised a single cylinder for loading. She wanted to question how that would even fire, but decided to go along with it. She grabbed it off the ground and a symbol appeared on her H.U.D representing the current weapon, Ammunition, and ammo loaded. She had 7 rounds loaded but no reserve ammunition.
“It’s fully loaded but no spare ammunition. Luckily your melee can be quite devious. C’mon, let’s find a jumpship to get back to the tower.”
Travelling across the landscape, she took a glimpse at the world around her. She started remembering the world that she lived in during her previous life. Equestria. But surely, this isn’t Equestria. She died in Equestria so she should be in Equestria. This land looks quite barren.
“Hault, up ahead, there’s a jumpship. That’s our target. But the Fallen have gotten to it first. We need to take them on.” The ghost said to Twilight as she rose her Hoof cannon and proceeded to enter her first battle. 12 Fallen. 1 of her. You’ve got to be kidding me. 12:1?
“You can do it. Just aim for the head and melee when you have to. It’s not that hard.” The Ghost said encouraging Twilight as she made her way behind a nearby piece of debris. Looking around she spotted a grenade on the ground.
“Right there, a Grenade. Quite old fashioned, but should do some damage.” The ghost said to her as she grabbed it. Pulling the pin on the grenade, she proceeded to chuck the grenade onto the group of Fallen. The Grenade detonated into a small puff as the Fallen reacted to the blast. It didn’t do much damage like the Ghost said, but weakened them enough to make the battle easier.
“Should i just rush in and kill them?” She asked as the Fallen became aware of a presence.
“Unless you have a rifle, i suggest that’s what you should do. Does this look like a rifle to you?”
To be honest, i don’t really know what a rifle is.
Twilight peeked up from behind the debris and headshotted 2 Fallen Dregs. Quickly ducking behind the debris she realised that they’re not that powerful and she could easily rush in and take them on. She quickly jumped over the Debris and melee’d the Dreg that was on the other side. She took a bit of incoming damage, but she managed to hold it off. Firing 2 more headshots, she took out 2 more dregs. The grenade was sufficient enough to take out their health so the headshots were lethal. She fired 3 more shots onto 3 dregs killing 2 with one managing to survive. Out of ammo, she rushed up and melee’d one.
“You’re doing way better than expected. But these are only dregs so, they’re pretty weak.” Ghost said surprised at how she took down 8 dregs already.
Meleeing 2 more dregs she came across the last 2 fallen. Vandals wielding fusion rifles. They both managed to charge up a shot as she killed off the previous dregs. She managed to dodge one, but got hit by the force of The second one, draining most of her health. She quickly ducked behind cover as her health quickly recovered and quickly ducked out and struck one Vandal twice. Right before the other managed to Charge up it’s shot, she dived onto it stopping the charge and put all her force into the melee.
“That was quite good for your first battle.” The ghost complimented. “How did you pull that off?”
“I felt a surge. A power surge, yeah that’s it.” She answered as she felt a slight power within her. This world, is too weird for me.
“You’ve just leveled up. You should’ve unlocked a grenade skill. A Vortex grenade. You can use that later. Now let me deal with that jumpship.”
Twilight summoned the Ghost as it started working on starting up the Jumpship. I have no idea what i am, but it’s really fun taking out these Creatures. Don’t know if they’re native or not She thought equipping her Vortex grenade. She felt a short change inside her as the Vortex grenade was equipped.
“Now just wait while i start this up. There should be some weapons nearby.”
She looked around the Jumpship and found a working gun. An Auto-rifle and 230 rounds. Loading the magazine she found the capacity to be at 34.
“While we’re here, can i ask. Where am i? And what am i now?” She asked inspecting the Rifle. It wasn’t quite heavy. It was certainly more heavy than the Hoof cannon. Looking at it closer, it’s firing mechanism had a lot more logic.
“You’re on Equestria. I believe about 2000 years after your death. You’re a Guardian. A protector of the last city of Canterlot. To be precise, you’re a warlock. A voidwalker. You’ll understand later when you get stronger.”
“I Don’t remember much, but this doesn’t look like Equestria.” Twilight said Gazing upon the land around her.
“It is, But a lot has changed after the traveller came. The traveller changed everything. The traveller is what gives you these different powers and created me.” The ghost answered.
“That, seems, quite, reasonable. But do you have a real name? I want to address you by something more specific.”
“I never was given a name. The Traveller created my kind but never named us. But as your companion, just let me know what you want to call me. But please, can you just deal with those Fallen incoming?”
“What fallen?”
“Right there, Another group is coming. You should be able to take them on.”
Twilight nodded as she approached the incoming fallen firing her Weapon at the 8 fallen. 4 Vandals and 4 dregs. She chucked a vortex grenade that managed to damage quite a few of them and create a temporary damaging vortex area where they would not go.
“Do you know any weaknesses?” She asked the ghost as it started working on hacking into the Jumpship
“Try the head. It worked with the hoof cannon”
She aimed for the head and managed to quickly take out dregs as the other dreg flee’d off into the company of the Vandals. Taking aim at the Vandals, She Fired a barrage of ammunition into their Heads as they closed in on her. She managed to Take down 2 Vandals before her Health got low. Ducking behind some debris, she let her health recharge.
“Hey, i know this isn’t a good time to ask, but why does my Health regenerate so fast?”
“Warlocks have good recovery. They lack in armour though.” Ghost answered almost finished.
She managed to take down another Vandal, a fierce shot to the head that it could not dodge, as the Last one charged with swords backed up by the last Dreg.
“Oh, this one’s going to be tough.” She said as Her ghost managed to take control of the Jumpship.
“Just leave it, we’re going.”
She ducked behind cover as the Jumpship started heading off, passing over her. Right as the Vandal made it to her, the Grenade recharged and she chucked one down. She was warped inside the Ship as it started making it’s way across Equestria. She looked over the Vandal as it got torn apart.
“Close call, thanks. I’ve never seen anything this advanced before.”
“You will have more to see later. But for now, just sit back.”
She set her weapons on a nearby seat. She looked in a nearby cabinet and found some Hoof cannon ammo. She sat down as it made it’s way through the atmosphere of Equestria.Ghost said i could give it a name. She thought as she started thinking through all the names. One particular name came to her mind. It was like it just sparked up there and refused to be replaced by a different name. Hello, Spike

Ponies Destiny to become legend
The Two made their way across Equestria. The land was very different from anything she could remember. It changed, a lot. The land looked like it had been All destroyed than terraformed into something different. But it was still Equestria. Or at least. That’s What the Ghost had been telling her. She still had to properly tell the Ghost of it’s new name.
“Before we make it to the tower, i could hope we could stop somewhere else. If, you don’t mind”
“Uh, sure Spike. It doesn’t looks like i’d be going anywhere else anytime soon. For i just woke up like an hour ago.” She answered inspecting the Auto-rifle that she had gotten before. She was remembering a lot of her past life by now. But not everything she remembered. Guns related to the hoof cannon had been developed soon before her death. There was a ban on the weapons saying they could only be used in defence and were often hard to get on any-ponies hooves. But now they’re everywhere.
“Spike?” The Ghost questioned as it maneuvered it’s way through the atmosphere.
“You said i could give you a name.”
“Well i guess almost every name would’ve done. It’s not like you had a choice with your name.” Spike said acknowledging it’s new name.
“Before you land, are you taking me anywhere too dangerous for me to handle? I mean like, a dungeon or something?” She asked Holstering her auto-rifle and handling her hoof cannon.
“Not dungeon dangerous. If anything gets bad, it wouldn’t be like that.” Spike said assuring her that it wouldn’t be her fate there. “You’re not dying the day you woke up.”
“Good, I Don’t think these weapons could handle creatures like that.” She replied Cocking her hoof cannon.
The two made it to their destination; A forest that looked old and dead like a bushfire swept over and it never recovered.. It looked like something she knows. But she just couldn’t remember it.
“Welcome. This is the Everfree forest. But we’re not here to just see this. We need to go inside.” Spike said as they landed on the outside of the forest.
Everfree Forest, I swear i know that place. I’m going to have a lot of these moments
“So is it someplace inside?” She asked following her Ghost as it made its way through the forest.
“Yes, i’ve only been here once, but never got to fully see it. Sometimes there would be something that stood in my way. But now, i have found you, the Guardian i belong to and we can go see it together” Spike said as he floated through the forest.
So He doesn’t have a laser or something? She thought as they journeyed further in. Every step she took in, she could feel something pulling her back. Go back, The Everfree is not a place of fun It would tell her. But a lot has changed, so her conscience wouldn’t be always right.
They came across a cave. Inspecting the cave, it looked old. Like it’s been here for ages but hasn’t been damaged at all.
“It’s right through here, you may remember it, but i doubt it.” Spike said leading her through the cave.
“This, is the Tree of Harmony. Or, That’s what it was.” Spike said Lighting up the cave around her. She looked ahead to see a tree like figure. It looked dead and gloomy.
Tree of Harmony… I… I swear i know that. She thought as Spike finished talking.
“The Tree of Harmony once held the elements of Harmony. The Elements of Harmony were the most powerful magical force to exist. The Elements kept ponies safe.” Spike said reading out all the knowledge it knew of the Elements of Harmony.
“But, it doesn’t look okay now.” Twilight asked approaching the now Inactive tree.
“Soon after the Traveller came, the Darkness got here too. The Enemy of the Traveller. With it, it brought four alien species, all of which you will see. The Fallen. The hive. The Vex and the Cabal. The Traveller assumingly didn’t know about the Tree at first, but when it did, the Darkness had already reached Equestria and gotten to it first. The Darkness Consumed the Elements of Harmony, Destroying it, the Elements and allowing the four species onto the land. There is only one spot on Equestria that is safe, for the Extra-Terrestrials have taken over most areas of Equestria, it’s moon and Equidaeus. I have decided, now, would be the great time, to get you to know this new world and you will see two others you’ve never been to before. One you never knew.”
Elements of Harmony, Why do i know that? Twilight thought, Tears Bringing up her eyes as caused by something deep in her memory.
“Is there something wrong?” Spike said to Twilight noticing the tears in her eyes.
“It’s, it’s nothing. I don’t know why, but there’s something i remember that i can’t get a hold of.” She replied letting out the last of her tears. “While it’s good, you could tell me of Equidaeus. I don’t remember that at all.”
“You wouldn’t. It’s a new planet that was colonised after your death. But we shouldn’t stay here any longer. We should leave before anything else comes.”
But, it was too late. The Fallen were already here. They made their way through the entrance, weapons ready, to take her on.
“The Fallen! They’re already here!”
“Can you get a visual on how many there are?” Twilight asked firing at the closest dreg as she weaved around avoiding as much damage as possible.
“About 2 Vandals, 4 Dregs. A small group was patrolling outside.” Spike said Interacting with her, vanishing out of combat.
Twilight immediately chucked her Vortex grenade at the group of Fallen as they made their attempt to kill her. The Grenade set off and significantly damaged 2 dregs while leaving the rest unharmed. She fired her hoof cannon at the Dreg she previously damaged killing it off before switching to the last Dreg. The Last Dreg was lucky, It managed to avoid all her shots as she emptied out her cylinder, but it was unaware that she had a second weapon as she paused to switch to her Auto-rifle. She Fired off quick short bursts to the Dreg killing it off in the process.
“I was paused for 6 seconds to switch primary weapons. How stupid are they?” she asked as she fired on the First Vandal, draining half its health before she had to reload.
“I think they’re scared of you. The vortex grenade must’ve really set them up.” Spike joked as the Vandal Managed to charge up its Fusion rifle and fire a shot at Twilight, albeit missing.
She managed to load a second magazine into the Rifle as she burst all ammunition into the Vandal killing it. As the Ammunition clicked 0, she chucked her Auto-rifle away as she charged against the Second Vandal, meleeing it and sending it forward, where she jumped on it and proceeded with a second melee, killing it and wiping out the last of the Fallen group.
“That, was a failed ambush.”
Twilight felt a surge inside her as a Notification appeared on her H.U.D saying Level up
“You should've unlocked glide. Equip it and we’ll test it outside.” Ghost said as Twilight picked up her Auto-rifle, loaded it and equipped Glide.
They made their way outside where she was taught about Glide.
“Ok, Glide is a movement ability. To use it just focus right after your jump.”
Twilight jumped up and concentrated her power into the Glide, sending her upwards and slowly to the ground.
“Good. You can do it. Just know that if you use it at the height of your jump, you won’t get the boost.”
“It’s useful, but it takes a lot of concentration. How could i fire while using it?” She asked Spike as he started leading her out of the Forest.
“You could try, but it would be very hard, that’s the biggest downside. But it will help in maneuvering.” He replied as they Made their way towards the Jumpship. He interacted with the Jumpship starting it up and warped Twilight on board.
“I hope you learned something today. Thank you for letting me see the Tree.”
Just, just don’t think the much about the tree. Twilight Thought as they made their way towards the tower.
“Yes, i did learn something. It was quite interesting.” She replied trying to think less of the tree.
“Well, look ahead, There’s The City.” Spike said as they approached a big City underneath a giant Sphere. “And that’s the Traveller.”
