Chapters As we were walking to SugarCube Corner other ponies kept staring at us. It felt awkward like if I was being put on trial for a murder.
" Just ignore them Lily. They are just jealous of you." He said. I nodded and continued to trot next to him. We continued to walk until we ran into Applebloom. She smiled at me.
" Hey Lily! Hey Mister. Lily do you want to come over to the clubhouse later?" She asked. Sweetiebelle was standing behind her staring at me. I don't think sweetiebelle liked me. So I shook my head and continued to walk with my dad. I could see sugar cube corner ahead. My father seemed to walk slower. I wonder what is up with him. We entered the shop to see Pinkie pie entertaining her friends. She looked over at me and gasped.
Next, thing I knew a big pink blur came charging at me. Pinkie pie had just glomped me.
" Oof...hi Pinkie...nice to see you too." I huffed. Pinkie let go of me and pulled me over to her friends. I looked back at my dad who was talking to Mr.Cake. He looked upset and angry.
" Hey girl this is Lily," Pinkie said. " Lily this is Twilight." She pointed to a purple unicorn. I've seen her around town. " Next is Fluttershy." A yellow pegasus smiled at me.
" Then is AppleJack." A tannish pony tipped her hat at me. " Rainbow Dash is next." She pointed at a cyan Pegasus who was staring at a cupcake. " Then we have Rarity." A white unicorn with dark curly hair looked at me. She seemed to be looking me over. They started talking all at once until someone asked me a question.
" Hey aren't you the loony that is being taken in a week?" A small meek voice asked. I looked around, but my eyes finally settled on a small green and purple dragon.
" Spike! That is rude!" Twilight said nudging him. He looked at her then at me.
" Sorry." He said sulking.
" Its ok. And yes I am the loony. Though I don't see how I'm the crazy one in town..." I said looking at Pinkie who was staring at a cupcake. Everyone laughed.
" We just learned how to accept her. Thats all sugarcube." AppleJack said putting her arm around me. I felt accepted by the ponies. I looked around to find my dad, but he wasn't anywhere in sight. I started to panic. My dad never left me alone, and I hadn't been outside of the house very much to walk around ponyville.
" Um where is my dad?" I ask worriedly. Everyone looked around, but no one could find him.
" He probably went home to get something." Twilight said. "Do you know how to get home?"
I shook my head and she motioned for me to follow her. I slowly followed her outside and we walked around.
Twilight apparently knew where we were going. She didn't talk much, but she did ever so often look back at me and smile. I look her over to see that I was mistaken earlier. Twilight apparently had wings as well. So I guess she was an alicorn. We continued walking until we reached my house. There were royal guards and the Princess herself. They were walking around the house as if looking for something. One of the guards looked at me and motioned toward his comrade.
" Princess! There she is!" They said surrounding Twilight and I. Princess Celestia walked over to us, and she didn't seem to happy.
" Princess Celestia what has Lily done?" Twilight asks.
" She has killed her parents. She must be brought to justice." She said. I felt my heart sink. My father had been killed. I really didn't care for step mother.
" Princess Celestia, if I may...I wasn't here. I was at Sugarcube corner with Twilight and her friends." I said. She looked at Twilight who was confirming the entire thing.
The guards let me walk around and grab some of my belongings. One of them in particular looked sadder than them all. He was the one who was standing guard at my door as I packed my belongings. I grabbed my blanket and my favorite book. As well as my picture of my father. The guard stared at me as I pulled the picture from the shelf. He lead me down to where Princess Celestia and Twilight were talking. When I reached them they looked at me.
" You will be living with Twilight until this case is solved." Celestia said. I looked to twilight who was smiling faintly. “ Whoever killed your parents were after you as well. I looked at her like she was the crazy one here. Somepony wanted my parents and I dead? That was just….It wasn’t possible. Twilight walked over to be hand put her arm around me.
“ Its going to be ok. Don’t worry.” She said in a calming voice. I nodded and followed her, but before I did I looked back at Princess Celestia who was just smiling at us as we walked away.

When we reached Twilight’s Library/House the small purple dragon came running out.
“ Twilight your home!” He began to say until he saw me. “ Is that the pony for earlier?” He asked. Twilight took him to the side, and began to talk to him. Every so often they would glance at me. I walked over to the door and opened it. There were books galore and I didn’t know if i should be happy or just faint. I knew that there was a library, but I didn’t know she has this many.
“ I don’t even know where to begin…” I mumbled. I walked over to one of the bookshelves, and pulled of a book about an asylum.
“ I see you're enjoying the books.” Twilight began to say, but she saw the book that I was reading she used her magic to take from me. “ You don’t need to read that.” I noticed the fear in her eyes as she put the book away in a locked dresser.
“ And why not…” I asked . Twilight looked back at me with a saddening look. I could tell by the way her ears flattened against her head that she didn’t not want to answer that question. “ Its fine…” I said looking at the window. The sun was setting and i felt this sadness when the moon rose up into the sky. Spike walked over to me, and tapped my shoulder.
“ There is a guard here to talk to you.” He said motioning towards the door. I walked over to see that Twilight was shouting at the guard.
“ You need to go! She doesn’t need this right now!” She yelled at him.
“ Um...Ms. Sparkle…” The guard said looking over at me. He has a dark brown mane while his coat was a milk chocolate color, but his eyes were a bright green color with a main that was a reddish color. Twilight looked over at me with a scared look. He was a pegasi just like me.
I looked over the guard a bit more until I realized it was the guard from before.
“ What...do you want?” I asked stepping in front of Twilight.
“ I-I-I just wanted to talk to you…I’m one of your father’s friends sons….Siren.” He stuttered. I nodded and looked back at Twilight.
“ I’ll be back,” I said closing the door and motioned for him to lead the way. We began walking into the town. He was silent until we reached the edge of town.
“ Ok. Talk” I said sitting. Siren sat down next to me looking up at the sky. Something about him that made me feel safe, but then again maybe it was the fact that he was a Royal Guard.
“Lily, Its not safe here in PonyVille.” He said with a stern face. I wasn’t surprised that he had said that, but just shocked that he did.
“ Siren….Why would you say that? Of course it’s safe there.” I laughed.
“Because...I think I know who is after you….” He whispered.
Chapter One
“ She isn't even sane!” Somepony yelled. The clashing sound of hoofs being slammed on the ground startled me. I think it was my step mother.
“ I don't care I'm not sending her to some loony bin just because some doctor said so!” my father yelled. He must have been arguing with my mother...again. I didn't like the yelling, but they did it everyday. I looked out my window and begged that I wouldn't be dragged into this.
“ She is going and that is final! I don't want a daughter who isn't right in the head.” My mother yelled. Tears started to well in my eyes. “ And I'll leave you if you don't let me take her!”
Father would let her take me right? He loved me than anypony. I quietly flew to the edge of the staircase. My father and mother were standing in the living room with two stallions I didn't know. Father let out a long sigh.
“ You know I love you both. Let me at least spend at least a week with her before you send her to the loony bin. She needs help, but I don't think she is going to get it where she's going.” He said. My mother turned to the other ponies in the room and nodded. They nodded back and started for the door. One of them noticed me by the stairs, but didn't say a word. My heart felt broken. How could my parents do this to me? I'm not crazy! I'm not crazy! Am I? I mean I know I act different than all the other fillies at my school, but that doesn't mean I'm crazy.
“ Lily could you come down please.” My father called. I stepped out from behind the stairs. Tears in my eyes. The shock on their face told me that they knew I was listening. Father walked over to me and hugged me.
“ I didn't know you were listening.....I'm sorry Lily. I'm so sorry.” He whispered. He let go of me to look at me. Mother walked over and put her arm around me.
“ Lily you're still a filly. You will understand when your older.” She said. I moved away from her towards the front door.
“ No. You won't send me there. I don't want to go!” I yelled at them. Both of them stared at me.
“ Lily dear...I think you're being a little rash.” mother said taking a step towards me. I looked at father. My father had a sorrow all over his face.
“ Lily why don't you and I go to Sugar Cube Corner to get cupcakes. You always enjoy that.” My father said. I knew he wanted to get me away from my mother. I nodded afraid I was going to scream again. My mother smiled at me as if nothing was wrong. Maybe she is the crazy one in the family.
