Many years ago, before Nightmare Moon and Sombra, Princess Chrysalis was a faithful ally to Luna and Celestia. There was an agreement that the changelings could stay in Canterlot as long as the changelings did not feast on one host, causing illness, but taking a little from many ponies. However even a plan like this couldn't go on forever. The changelings needed to move to the Crystal Empire. When they got there though, there was something odd about the city. She dismisses it for just the way it is and relaxes in her new home, but when she meets the handsome and charming dark magic user Sharp Obsidian…she can't help but eat herself alive over him.
