The Human's Revolution

Chapter 1: Awakening

I woke to the sound of my cage being rammed. As I began to get my vision under control I found myself being observed by 15 or so ponies in some sort of amour. But the thing that scared me the most was seeing a flash of blue eyes from behind a crate. I let lose a low growl before moving to the front of the cage glaring at the pile of crates I last saw those eyes, when I turned back to face the ponies surrounding my cage had begun to draw their weapons while keeping watch on me for any sudden or hostile movements. After around 5 to 10 minutes most of the guards had walked away and began searching the ware house. I dint pay much attention to what most of the ponies were doing until I noticed a pony that I knew with her hoof to her muzzle letting out a soft sob before moving towards me and sitting on her haunches in front of me. I slowly reached out to be hit with a spell from a unicorn, as the bolt hit me I quickly went to the other side of the cage shooting a glare at the unicorn who had shot me before I flipped her off. She snorted at the action before turning around and walking around to the opposite side of the room inspecting a few crates and cages. I quickly turned my attention back to the one pony I knew, she was staring at me with mixed emotions of horror and sadness. I quickly move forward and start to scratch behind her ear as one of the guards move forward it didn't even take him a second to reach me. As he moved to grab my arm I quickly grabbed the front section of his armour and flipped him onto his back before I began to snicker, a couple of the other guards couldn't keep their grins off their face as they start to break out laughing. When a bright green flash from behind the group of guards. As the i regained my senses a guard closes to the flash shouted a single word all should fear "'changeling!'" after he shouted this all the guards span around to see the changeling standing stock still, its large green eyes glowing a sickly green as it watched all the guards around it.

Long Shots POV

I turned around quickly as I heard a few of the guards yelp to find myself staring at a changeling. As I looked at the changeling my instinct kicked in sending my wings in to fight or flight mode as a few guards step in front of me their breathing was heavy and quick. One of the guards quickly spoke up "Long Shot get outa here before things get ugly. Also take that human with you." As the guard in front of me said this I bolted towards the cage un latching the bolt before the human looked at me with a strange expression before he started to crawl out. As he made his way out he stood up before stretching and popping several of his joint letting out a satisfied groan. As I turned back to face the exit I saw a flash of green light then darkness.

Hunters POV

As I watched the only pony I knew mare me fall limp after the green energy struck her I lost it. I ran straight through the guards to see another limp body of a stallion in front of the changeling. As I moved towards the changeling it let out a blood curdling screech making me wince at the sound.  As I reached the changeling it let out another shot of energy hitting me square in the shoulder. I looked at my arm to find it burnt badly. But that only served to piss me off even more, I stepped forward and sent a kick at break neck speeds at the changelings legs catching it off guard. As the changeling fell I rushed forward slamming my fist in to its gut. The changeling let out a grunt before slamming its front hoof into my chest. As it's hoof bounced of harmlessly I stepped forward sending another punch connecting with its jaw. The changeling flew a few feet before landing with a THUDD! the changeling quickly shook its self and sent another beam of energy this time hitting me in the thigh making me scream in pain as my leg began to bleed. As I was distracted by the pain in my leg the changeling charged me making me slam into a wall with him on top. He let out a snarl before repeatedly slamming his hoof into my face. After a bit of this I slammed my fist into his jugular making him cough violently before I  quickly shoved him off limping away to put a distance between me and him, as I limped away I turned to find the changeling coughing a bit as he focused back on me as he stated death at me before trying again to tackle me. But this time I was ready for him. I rolled out of the way opening the gash on my thigh further. I grunted in pain before I noticed something shining in the shadows. I turned around just in time to have the changeling slam into me sending me and him into the shadows. As I thrashed about i fell to the ground. I started to reach my hand out to find something  to get rid of the changeling on top of me. Before I felt a cold sharp object next to my hand. Not even thinking I grabbed it and slammed it into its neck getting a satisfied gurgle as the changelings eyes went wide In horror as it scratched at its throat trying to dislodge the object in stuck in its throat. After quickly making sure the changeling was dead I limped out of the shadows to be greeted by a few surprised and shocked guards. I made my way through the group of guards picked up Long Shot and the unconscious stallion before hobbling to the stairs. After a few guards realised what I was doing they began to rush over to me, making me freak out and jump down the stairs and out of the complex. As I made a mad dash out I failed to realise that there were voices outside before realising that there were guards sitting outside playing cards. As I stopped all eyes turned towards me. I gulped before I took a slow step backwards before I bumped into the pony behind me,I  quickly turned around to find myself face to face with a guard. I started to back away into a corner as the guards started to surround me, when I bumped into the wall I found my self staring at a few unicorns and earth ponies. As I began to think about there being pega-- I cut myself from my train of though as I saw a shadow looming over my head. I dropped the two guards I was carrying as i focused on one thing. Running as far away as I could. After a few a second of thinking an idea came to mind. I dropped down into a running position before sprinting full speed at the guards in front of me. The guards in front of me screamed like little fillies as I jumped over there heads before bounding forward towards the dense forest, the guards I jumped over were dazed for a split second before the pegasai started there pursuit while the earth ponies ran to catch me while the unicorns began shooting spells after me. I ran for about 5 minutes when my foot snagged on a root that I had not seen, as I fell to the ground I tried my hardest to move my hands in front of my face but I was to slow to react as I hit the ground hard and was sent into the cold dark embrace unconsciousness.....
