Five Nights at Celestia's
My name is Brad Summers and all I have to say is that I have THE worst if not the most TERRIBLE luck ever! How you ask? Well this is what happened: I was just minding my own bees wax just going around my home town of Bean Station located in Grainger county Tennessee in my 2014 Mustang, but then all of a sudden a blinding light made me spin out of control and somehow I wound up right in front of Celestia. Ya kinda weird right? Well that's not the worst of it. Apparently she was trying to call upon The Doctor from Doctor Who to have a reunion chat with him.
But that's not the weird part, she thought I of all people WAS him! I explained to her I wasn't him and she said that we looked the same. To be fair though I was cos-playing as the 9th Doctor at the time so I couldn't really blame her. I mean my semi-bald and black hair head combined with my skin color that was almost close to Eccleston's my situation was pretty one sided. She did apologize though and I forgave her, but I was unfortunately stuck here and I didn't mind it at all. Mainly because my inner brony was doing cartwheels while my whovian/9th doctor side was face palming at him, totally with you there 9.
Getting settled in was like how MOST human in Equestria stories went, I try and be friendly, they run away in terror, it takes FOREVER to make friends with anyone, bla, bla, bla, we've all read human in Equestria stories we're all familiar with the concept of how they work. The few friends I had though were quiet the odd bunch, how you ask? Well first off my first friend happens to be Prince Blueblood who was actually quiet welcoming of me which to me goes COMPLETELY against what he was interpreted to be in the show. He did explain to me though he was under a lot of pressure and now everything made sense to me now, well almost, but close.
Seriously can you blame the guy now? When I thought about it I guess ANYONE could act like him if they were under a certain pressure. My second friend is actually a human like me, his name was Flash Sentry. His story was that one day during summer vacation Twilight came back to his world and asked to join her on a picnic. To Twilight's surprise he didn't come out as a pony, but still human, the two had been dating in between worlds since then and one day Flash proposed to her. I was actually there when he proposed and knowing the two for a while I knew Twilight would say yes.
Yes Twilight and the rest of her friends actually became friends with me as well and I made one by the name of Sunset Shimmer in one of my travels to Flash's world, and all I have to say is who knew my skin color in that world was pink. During the wedding though that's when I met my 3rd biggest friend. Apparently changelings had invaded and their leader Queen Chrysalis thought it was a great opportunity to attack, wrong, they didn't expect me to be there. If you're wondering, no, I didn't kill her, I actually used a tool The Doctor used at least once or twice, diplomacy.
Using my knowledge of diplomacy from Doctor Who, yes go ahead and laugh, I was able to convince Chrysalis to work something out with Celestia and they were able to come to an agreement. I might just be letting it get to my head, but I'm serious when I say I actually FELT like I WAS The Doctor. I wasn't just cos-playing, I BECAME The Doctor, well for that brief moment anyways. Chrysalis became my 3rd best friend after that and we actually had a lot of fun, especially when Blueblood and Flash, if he wasn't to caught up with helping Twilight with their daughter, was with us.
Yes Flash and Twilight actually had a daughter together. Yea I'm just as confused as you are on how that even worked. It was a pony though if you're wondering, her name's Melody Note, the newest baby alicorn ever to be born. Yea I'm sure you're even more confused at this point but don't question it it's like trying to question Pinkie Pie. I forgot to mention, I also live with Celestia, but that can be explained on it's own. But to me I always thought Celestia saw me as more than just a friend, but it could be just me, or the fact that I was reading/watching too much Princess Molestia stuff before I even came here.
Well now that that's out of the way, you probably want to know exactly what's going on and why the title of this fic sounds like a mlp mod for Five Nights at Freddy's. Well before we get to the whole story of me defending myself, we have to go back to when I got a new job at the castle as the night watchman, or night watchpony? You know what I mean. But before we go into that I have to say that: number 1) yes, I set up cameras. Number 2) reasons why is because I've read One Night at Anon's and can you blame me for being scared at night after reading that. And number 3) the night watchpony was Celestia and Luna's idea, not mine.
Now to ACTUALLY begin the story because I know for a fact you're probably getting sick of all these explanations.
It began like my usual Sunday, I got out of bed, complained to myself about the sun being up for no god damn reason, took a shower, brushed my teeth, got into my 9th doctor cosplay because I can, put my celestial toy store 9th/10th doctor sonic screwdriver replica in the left pocket of my leather jacket, placed the 10th doctor's toy fob watch in the right pocket, did the "the ears could've been bigger" line in front of my mirror, said hi to my room's guards, went to breakfast, ate, said high to Luna, helped her with anything I could, all that.
After I was done helping Luna with her paperwork and a meeting with a few Saddle Arabians who came needing some supplies in their current war against Germaney for control of a new land I headed to the throne room to help out Celestia with anything and saw a guard coming my way. I recognized this guard as one of the recent recruits.
"A letter from Prince Flash Sentry." she said handing me the letter
I took it and opened it up to reveal an invitation
Dear Brad,
I know it has been a while since my last letter where I asked you for help in discussing what to do with Tirek since he tried to escape again, but this time I'm writing to you for an invitation. By the time you get this Blueblood and Chrysalis should be on their way to Ponyville. Why is because I'm inviting you guys to a picnic with my wife and her friends.
I know though that you might be a little hesitant since what happened last time, but I assure you that this time we came prepared and no siren will capture you this time.
Also I know I could've told you in person, but as of Tireks almost escape we've been up to our necks in paperwork and trying to do that while taking care of a alicorn foal is NOT easy. No matter. I f you show up or not we'll know what your answer was. Also why I said Blueblood and Chrysalis should be on their way is because yours was a minute late, sorry. I'll be waiting.

After reading the letter I looked at the recruit and smiled.
"Thanks private Gilda." I said to her, "You may go back to whatever you were doing."
"Yes sir." she replied and left
I soon found myself alone and then my smile faded.
"Ugh." I groaned, "Not again."
