You should know not to do that...
The gentle ear cringeworthy excessively common ring of crickets filled the air of the night. Behind the structure the three fillies gazed apon at this hour, nocturnal creatures made up all the noise around. Which was to be expected. Most residents of the town of Ponyville were asleep, as they should be. Around the region, everyone did as they were supposed to.
Except for three.
Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle stood at the base of the light blue cloud, staring up at the home infront of them. It was fairly large- bigger than how the three remembered it, which, was to say, not at all.
"Are you sure this is a good idea, Scootaloo?"
Sweetie Belle was the first to break the silence, which had been held for a good half hour as the trek was on foot and was to remain wordless, and it was. The walk to the building they were at the entrance of was a very long one, but that bothered the three very little. What did bother them, or two of them at least, was what they were doing.
"No, but that isn't the point!" replied Scootaloo shortly. The Orange filly stepped closer to the door, then reminded herself of her plan. It was simple, really. But the way she planned to execute it was by doing "something she shouldn't" as Sweetie Belle had said when she announced the plan.
Scootaloo turned around, looked back at the other two fillies she had dragged into her idiotic idea, and announced, in a whisper "Okay, remember, we go in, write the note, and get out. Okay?"
Applebloom, the other filly, had been the first to use a special part of her brain to find a way to object the plan. It was a region that she was sure that didn't exist in Scootaloos mind. She called this part "common sense."
"Ah don't wanna be in with this dumb plan!" she started, whispering. "Ya know what can happen if ya break and en'er."
Scootaloo's expression changed from a maniacal grin to a stunned frown. She remembered about what she read about ponies who broke into other ponies houses. Swords, and knifes...
"Yes, this isn't a good idea, Scootaloo," agreed Sweetie Belle.
They both disagreed with Scootaloo's idea, and the orange filly herself was starting to question her plan again.
Of course she wasn't going to just stop. She wasn't a "wussy."
"Come on, we're not going to get killed or anything. We aren't dumb," she whispered, futilely trying to reassure her friends about her idea. Although, it was the mind that made speech, and that meant anyone with common sense wouldn't go back.
Although, Applebloom was sure Scootaloo had none.
"Fine then, I'll just go alone," ended the orange filly. She turned around, facing the door again, and lifted her hoof up and tested the doorknob.
Locked. Because why not.
"Well this door is locked," announced Scootaloo. When she turned her head back, she saw Applebloom and Sweetie Belle slowly walking back.
Dangit, they weren't kidding, thought Scootaloo, even though she figured they weren't. Looking around, she quickly decided that the next best idea would be to enter through a window. Hopping off the elevation she had been standing on, the orange filly curved around Rainbow Dash's house and found the nearest window. Climbing on to the lip that was blank, she tested the glass for any inward opening structure. Nothing. Then, she noticed a small opening at the bottom of the frame.
Squeezing very little of her hooves into the space, Scootaloo lifted the window open, and crawled in, shutting the opening behind her.
"I cannot believe she's actually doing this," spoke Sweetie Belle, as she was walking back, "she is very foolish isn't she."
"Yeah, what a dunce," agreed Applebloom.
A sharp cutting of wind trailed behind the two fillies, making them both glance back at the house. When they saw nothing, an invisible forced clamped their mouths shut and carried them away.
Inside, Scootaloo noticed that there was a heap of boxes, a table, a very cluttered collection of desks, and some small papers scattered around. Glancing around, the orange filly found a pen. Perfect. Trotting over to it, she picked it up along with a sheet of paper and carried it over to the boxes. She had an idea to write her note on top of the packages accusing Rainbow Dash of ordering embarrassing items, although there probably wasn't anything abnormal in them. Probably a bunch of spam that she got from proffesional athletic leagues that would most likely be in worst condition than the room Scootaloo was standing in.
Setting the paper down on the first box, Scootaloo wrote a letter in her "all perfect cursive jaw writing" and looked back on it.
You probably shouldn't put boxes with this stuff out in the open.
"Eh, not very good, but okay enough," whispered Scootaloo. Turning away from the boxes, the purple haired filly walked back towards the door. "Well that was easy!" she quietly changed to herself.
Attempting to unlock the door, Scootaloo pushed the flat knob the other way. Instead of hearing an unlocked *click* sound, she heard a barrage of mechanical thuds and scrapes. The sounds of pin drops, bouncing impacts, hammers hitting metal, and all other mechanical zips echoed through the room for a second. In the heap of noise, Scootaloo was launched back towards the middle of the room by some unknown force. The unexpected impact knocked the wind out of the filly, making her lose the will to breathe for a few seconds. When she finally regained a grasp of what was happening, something she hadn't expected happened.
Rainbow Dash came flying down the bent stairs, knocking into a wall, turning on the light switch. In her hoof, she held a diamond edged titanium sword, no doubt one she kept under her bed. "Okay! Who wants to fight?!" she yelled, before seeing the cause of the alert.
In an attempt to stand up, Scootaloo noticed she had somehow been attached to the floor by chains, restricting her from rising. As the orange filly looked up at Rainbow Dash, she heard her speak again.
"Oh good! This is perfect!" the cyan mare spoke. Setting down her blade, Rainbow Dash hovered towards the trapped orange filly and undid the chains holding her down, setting her free.
As she stood up, Rainbow Dash grabbed her and held her in her forelegs, holding her out. "Why are you in my home at this hour?" the cyan mare asked.
"I-uh, uh," stuttered Scootaloo as she frantically darted her pupils around the room, trying to stall.
"Well?"
"I-I-I-Uh, don't know," she finally said.
Rainbow Dash sighed, then carried the filly over towards the exit Scootaloo had intended on leaving from, but then revoked her path and put a maniacal grin on her face.
"Actually," Rainbow Dash started, "why don't I take you upstairs? You don't wanna walk home at night do you?"
"Uh, no, I guess not," replied Scootaloo.
Worst. Mistake. Ever.
Rainbow carried the orange filly in her hooves as she hovered slightly above the floor and up the stairs, a blank wide open eyes shut mouth expression, as if she had no emotions (which was sometimes true.) One on the second floor, Rainbow found a elongated sofa in which she subconsciously floated towards, setting herself and Scootaloo down on it.
Above the door which served as an entrance to the stairs hung an obviously offset clock. The time read 10:30, which was very far off. Rainbow Dash, having procrastinated too long to reset the time, remembered how it meant the time was around 4 in the morning.
Well, it was too late to go back to sleep.
Looking back over at Scootaloo, she remembered what her idea was. One that may have quite literally hit her a few hours prior.
"So Scootaloo, why are you here at 4 in the morning?" she asked again. The answer generally wasn't important to her, but it would kill good time. Because what she had planned was too superb to be rushed into.
Even with as much as the dismay of the filly it was going to be.
"Uh..." Scootaloo began, her pupils once again flying around her eyes, which were frantically shifting inside their sockets. "Sweetie Belle and Applebloom dared me to."
She lied.
"Are you sure?" Rainbow responded to the blatantly false answer, "It sounds like it's the other way around."
Scootaloo's mind worked oddly. Normally, the hidden knowledge that was held in the last spoken sentence would take excess thinking to uncover. For the orange haired filly, it was the first thing she thought of.
"What do you mean other way around?" she asked.
Rainbow Dash's expression changed a bit. She was surprised by the response she got, and internally kicked herself for leaking out the small amount of information.
"Oh, nothing. When you stutter a lot it just sounds like that."
Well, I blew the stalling act thought Rainbow Dash.
Dangit, I really didn't want to get into this so soon.
The cyan mare hopped up from the surface she had been sitting on and hovered once again by the entry down the stairs, to a small table that had a small plastic bag resting on it. Rainbow Dash picked up the package with her hoof and opened it, spilling its contents on to her other hoof. Rainbow hovered back over to where Scootaloo was sitting.
When she got close enough, Scootaloo noticed that Rainbow had a small pile of red powder on the top of her hoof. When she opened her mouth to ask what the substance was, Rainbow Dash blew the powder into her face. Within seconds, the orange filly was knocked unconcious by whatever powder it was.
"Ha, that egghead knows how to make drugs all right."
The only sound in the room was the steady stream of breathing coming from them. It was so peaceful, so oblivious to the fate that was soon to come. A clicking sound interrupted the undisturbed closet, as its door swung open.
This was not going to end well.
Scootaloo was laying peacefully on the sofa she had been on, having not moved an inch other than letting her back fall.
As she layed asleep on the soft surface, she was gazed upon by the mare who had put her in the spot. Dash Rainbow Dash stood next to the sofas edge, on the side Scootaloo rested on. She planned to wake the filly up in a rather uncivilized manner.
Bending her neck over the sofas edge, the cyan mare position her head directly above sleeping filly. Ugh. She absolutely hated whenever she did this. But it was the fastest way to wake pony's up, so it was the plan she chose.
Reaching her face slightly lower, Rainbow closed her eyes and began licking Scootaloos face.
She felt dreadful and unclean in the process, but it showed progressive. Within 20 seconds, a cringe formed on the orange filly's face, no doubt her waking up. Not noticing his change, Rainbow continued the process, causing Scootaloo to wake up to a tongue on her eye.
Finally stopping, Rainbow backed up from the sofa, staring down at the pony she had just awoke.
Yawning, Scootaloo pressed behind the surface she had been laying on and sat up. "Rainbow Dash," she started to speak, still half asleep, "what was that?"
"Nothing," Rainbow replied, ironically.
"Hey Scootaloo," continued Rainbow Dash, reminding herself of her knowledge of the drug she had just used on the filly below her. After being knocked out, the target usually had unusual thoughts for about an hour. "Do you know about sex?"
"Uh, yeah, why?" she replied, yawning with little interest in the unusual question she had just been asked.
"Good, because I'll need to do something to you real fast," said Rainbow Dash. Another thing she learned about the after effects of the drug was that talking in a similar manner to the victim would make it go less noticed. Not that it mattered.
Rainbow reached her arms toward the filly, picking her up. Holding Scootaloo in her arms, she set her on the floor on her back, head facing away from Rainbow.
