10 years before The Day Of Sunshine And Rainbooms, a young unicorn, Blackflint, is left orphaned after his village is attacked by a raider clan. Lost and distressed, he is found by a mysterious hooded unicorn that teaches him the skills he needs to stay alive in the harsh world of Fallout Equestria.
Note this story is set in the Fallout Equestria universe created by Kkat.
I recommend reading the original first, as not only is it an amazing piece of literature, but it will flesh out the world in which the story is set.
The story is written in the third person, as it focuses on multiple points in time and doesn't always follow Blackflint.
This is a side fic, which means that it is not part of the official cannon (though I will be sticking to it as much as I can).
I can assure you that I will not turn this into another Project Horizons. One is enough.
I most likely will take a long time writing each chapter, simply because writing is hard and I want quality over quantity when it comes to my writing.
