Author’s notes. This story is a Crossover between Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney and MLP, it is also Inspired by the Phoenix Wright Turnabout Storm Video series by PWaaMLPfim and therefore the events that take place in that timeline also have happened in my story, however ten years have past since those events and the events of the Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies game have happened and therefore except for the few things added to connect these two works together everything is of my design and therefore I don’t feel this is violating copyright, but I’ll see what the FIMfiction Mods have to say... Enjoy the story if it’s made it past the Mods.

A final concerto

Moonrise symphony hall

May 16th

9:42pm

“It’s good to see you again Ms. Stardust as usual you get nothing but the best for this concert hall.” Silver Strings smiled as they sat down for tea. “Now why was it that you had me called here? I mean it’s not as if I don’t enjoy Ms. Melody and her ensemble's music but I am a busy stallion.”

Stardust smiled as she watched the stallion drink his tea unbeknownst to her dark intentions.

“Oh just a very trivial matter, but one that needed your attention I’m afraid, do you like your tea?” She asked

“Yes very much so... What is it, if I may ask?” Replied the stallion as he finished said tea.

“Oh nothing much; just milk tea I had imported over from Saddle Arabia, but I am afraid it will be your last.” She smirked knowing now that her plan had worked.

“What do you.... Wait I’m getting.” Started Silver before slumping to the floor, dead

“Now then all I have to do is get rid of this inside of her locker and our little game begins.”

Upper Canterlot - Princess Twilight’s Chambers

May 17th

8:30 AM

“Calm down Octavia, here breath into this.” Twilight Sighed as she handed the grey earth pony a paper bag and she slowly inhaled and exhaled into it; allowing her to calm down and catch her breath.

“ I’m truly sorry Princess, it’s just that I cannot believe this is happening, of all the ponies to be accused of murder Beauty Brass would be the last that I would suspect.” Octavia cried as the thoughts of one of her oldest and closest friends being banished to the sun caused her to become distraught again.

“Octavia please tell me all that happened last night.” Twilight asked as she began pacing in front of her throne.

“Well, all I know is that My ensemble and I had a concert last night at Moonrise hall; it was set up by one of the higher ranking nobles, I believe her name was Stardust Rose. Anyways halfway through the set Beauty Brass said that she needed to go to the bathroom and that she would be back soon, however it took her quite a long time to return allowing us to finish the concert, but once it was done we had begun cleaning up and putting our instruments away, and all of a sudden the royal guard showed up and took Brass away. They say that she kill one of the other guess to the concert, one Silver Strings, but it’s not possible Twilight... I’ve know Brass all her life I know she could not have killed that pony.” Octavia explained as Twilight’s pacing continued.

“Did they tell you on what grounds the charges were being pressed, the evidence against your friend?” She Asked looking at Octavia seriously.

“No, they simply said that they had found the murder weapon inside of her locker, and that that was enough to arrest her for the murder.” Twilight sighed and Octavia looked down at the floor solemnly. “There’s nothing you can do is there.” She sighed and turned around to leave.

“Wait!” Twilight ordered and Octavia froze where she stood. “There may be a way to save your friend, there’s someone I know.... He’s different and you might not trust him at first but if anypony can help Brass I know that he can.

“Are you talking about the Human that helped you win Rainbow Dash’s trial when she was accused of the murder of that racer?” Asked Octavia with a smile on her face remembering that young lawyer and feeling a small ray of hope for Beauty Brass’s future.

“Yes, it’s time I pulled out my legal trump card again, it’s time I call on Phoenix Wright.

Wright Anything Agency

May 17th

10:00 Am

“ Wright Anything Agency, how may I help you?” Asked a young girl having picked up the ringing telephone

“No, we don’t need a vegetable juicer, this is a law office please don’t call here again.”

“Another telemarketer, Athena?” Asked Apollo as he continued dusting the various surfaces of the room, it wasn't as good of a job as Pearl did; but at least as long as he tried keeping the place clean it wouldn’t become a pigsty again.

“Yeah, what’s with this; people don’t they get it!” Screamed Athena

“What a bunch of idiots!” Chirped Widget repeating Athena’s thoughts for the world to hear.

“They really could care less Athena, I once got a telemarketer try and sell me a vegetable slicer after saying Wright and Co law offices- defending you like it’s nothing baby.” Phoenix laughed having just come in and overhearing his protégés conversation.

“I’m sorry Mr. Wright, it’s just... It’s so annoying ya know.” She replied returning to organizing the files that she had been going through before the phone call.

“Don’t let it get you down Athena, now if you’ll excuse me I have to go help Trucy with one of her tric..... ugh what’s happening!” Phoenix moaned as his world spun.

“Are you oka.... uh.” Athena began before the same happened to her.

“Hey! are you tw...” Soon Apollo began blacking out too.

Upper Canterlot - Princess Twilight’s Chamber

May 17th

10:05 AM

“It would seem my spell worked, but who are these two other humans?” Twilight asked as she prodded Phoenix’s shoulder with her hoof.

Oh please tell me that that’s not whose voice I think that is! Groaned Phoenix inwardly as he started to come to.

“Hey Phoenix, hello Equestria to Phoenix Wright.... Wake up!” Twilight snapped as she slammed her hoofs in front of Phoenix’s face causing him to jump up in shock.

“Hey come on Twilight that wasn’t nec..es..sary... Did you always have wings?” Phoenix asked having done a double take at seeing the young Alicorns wings having been pretty sure that the last time he has seen the purple mare she had only been a Unicorn.

“Oh yeah, I mean I’m not sure if time passes the same way in your world as time does in our but in Equestria it’s been ten years since we’ve seen each other and I’ve become a Princess now.” She explained as she kept moving her eyes between Phoenix and his two still unconscious protégés.

“It would seem that time works the same in every universe then because it’s been ten years in our world as well.” Phoenix laughed as he noticed what Twilight was doing and looked towards Athena and Apollo. “ What the hell are they doing here too!!!!” He screamed as they began to stir.

“Whoa, that was a rush and a half.... Boss...Apollo, are..you.al..right.... Is it just me or is there a purple horse with wings and a horn standing in this room with us? Athena said having come to and began noticing that she was no longer in the Wright Anything Agency.

“Not unless we’re both hallucinating, Boss what is going on here. Apollo groaned as he stood as well and brushed himself off.

“Well It sort of goes like this.”

*Phoenix explains the events of “Turnabout Storm” ,how Equestria works ,and the three races of ponies.*

“Wow so that must mean that you’ve been called here again for a case!” Athena pumped her fist in the air. “And this time we’ll be here to help you!”

“Who said I’d even be taking the case this time Athena, I mean I almost didn’t last time, the only really I did is because I didn’t want to see Rainbow Dash banished for a crime she didn’t commit.” Phoenix snapped at the overly excited young girl.

“Well obviously boss that has to be the situation this time as well or why would Twilight have need to call us her to her world, surely something less ambiguous than murder could simply have been dealt with by their own justice system.” Apollo stated confidently.

“True... Okay Twilight, what’s happened this time?” Phoenix asked still not sure if he would still take the case and help her.

“It’s the friend of one of the Castle’s Cellists, she’s been accused of murder, but Octavia is certain that her friend couldn’t have been the one to do it.

“Okay, what was the murder weapon?” He Asked, Twilight then handed him a folder which he began reading, and a picture of a small pendant with a crystal vial in the center.

“According to the police report the victim Silver Strings was poisoned with a small amount of a new kind of toxin Equestrian scientist are studying, it’s tasteless, colorless. and, odorless; and potent enough to kill in amounts smaller than two teaspoons.

“The poison must have been carried in via the pendants crystal vial, and the one in possession it must have been important enough that nopony would search her, so either one of the nobility or a member of the ensemble must have been the murderer.... I must admit Twilight being the pendant was found in Beauty’s locker and she would not have been searched, and that she was gone while the crime was committed does make her quite suspect.” Phoenix Explained

“Yes... I know” She replied

“But Mr. Wright if the nobility were not searched as well how could Mrs. Brass be the only suspect, I mean any of them who had a grudge against her could have brought the poison in, killed Mr. strings, planted the poison in the locker and left without so much as being questioned.” Apollo rebuked as he too looked over the police files.

“And that will be the point of contention that we’ll try and argue when the trail starts Apollo, that there are too many ponies with the same possible way of getting that poison inside of the concert hall without being questioned, if we can’t find another suspect with a motive before then.” Phoenix smiled.

“So then does that mean that.” Twilight began

“Yes Twilight, We'll take the case, if Beauty Brass is truly innocent we won’t let her be banished.” He Said

“Oh thank you Phoenix, I knew I could count on you!”

“It’s no problem Twilight, now please take us to see Mrs. Brass.”
