In the near future, where the brony fandom is alive and well, a group of fans got together at the announcement of the NerveGear, a full-body immersion virtual reality device, and decided to create a game. That game, known as Equestria Legends Online, was much anticipated by a majority of the fandom and soon people were lining up to get a copy when it came out. This story follows the adventures of MidnightDreams in this new Virtual World, yet soon, things take a turn for the worst and the whole shebang goes from E to M.
