1 The Draconequus Invasion
416, Early Equestrian Calander
It was in the early hours of the morning that the pegasus sentinels watching over an Equestrian colony began to sight hardly identifiable creatures flying overhead. They passed it off as nothing. That is until they began landing near the town. An earth pony who served as the mayor of the village claimed them to be draconequus; normally peaceful creatures. The townsfolk began to be at ease, going back to their daily routines as the beasts roamed the outskirts of the settlement.
Also on the outside of town were three unicorns. Two sisters and one of their closest friends, heading to the distant quarry to learn about a newly discovered stone they had heard somepony call Alicorn. They decided to stay in this area for the night.
Everypony in the small town almost immediately noticed the strangers as they walked into town.
"What brings you here?" asked the leader of the colony.
"We're searching for the gem that has been called Alicorn," said Celestia, the eldest of the sisters.
