Rainbow Dash flew through the sky, until she reached the Everfree Forest. When she got there, she noticed that it was darker then usual.

"This is gonna be awesome!", said Dash running into the forest.

In the forest were trees covered with red spades.

"Whoa it's like a deck of cards exploded in here", said Dash looking around

She stopped when she saw a shadow like figure fly by her.

"WHAT THE-!", yelled Dash, "WHO'S OUT THERE?! COME OUT AND FACE ME LIKE A PONY!"

The shadow disappeared, and it's place was a silver sword with wings.

"What's that?", asked Rainbow walking over to the sword.

The sword had an inscription on the handle.

"The Sword of a Thousand Heroes", said Dash reading the sword, "Seems legit."

Rainbow grabbed the sword. Suddenly, there was a loud roar, and out of nowhere, a manticore jumped out through the bushes. Rainbow screamed and ran as fast as she could. She reached a cliff, and she turned around. The manticore was still chasing her. Rainbow brased for the impact, but when she opened her eyes, she saw the manticore lying on the grass with a stab wound on his head. Blood slowly dripped from the wound. Rainbow looked at her sword, and saw that she accidently stabbed the creature.

"Whoa", said Rainbow admiring her sword, "This sword is AWESOME! With this I can kill the creatures in the forest, and Zecora could go back home safely"

Rainbow flew back into a forest, without knowing that her sword was making a trail of blood. She started mudering monsters of all kind. From chimeras to cockatrices. She slayed a few dragons, and destroyed groups of parasprites. Her sword was so powerful that it even kills timber wolves without having them rebuild. Everytime she makes a kill, the blood path she made grew a little bit wider. Rainbow decided to take a break and saw a couple of jackalopes frolicking through the flowers.

"Hm, I wander what it would be like to slay innocent creatures", said Dash drawing her sword

She approached the jackalopes and decapted them. Their blood poured out like a river. She soon started murdering every creature in the forest. Even the innocent ones.

"That felt good", said Rainbow as her eyes turned black with red pupils.

She walked away while continuing her blood trail. Suddenly, she heard noises coming from behind a couple of bushes. Rainbow drew her sword and ran through the bushes, and killing the mysterious creatures. When she heard their screams, her eyes turned back to normal. She realized she had done something she wish she hasn't done.

"Oh my Celestia", said Rainbow on the verge of tears, "What have I done"

Suddenly, the trees turned red. The branches of the trees grabbed Rainbow and started pulling her towards the trees. Rainbow tried using her sword, but she dropped it.

"NO NO LET ME GO YOU STUPID TREES", yelled Rainbow

The trees pulled her into a cage, and the ceiling started to close on her.

"Im sorry", whispered Rainbow crying

The tree closed and made a bone crushing sound. Suddenly, the mysterious shadow showed up and started singing.

The first ALICE was a brave rainbow pony
Wielding a sword in a hoof in the Everfree
Slicing down everything in her wrath
Every kill she has made, left a bloody path.
This new ALICE of the red spade
Was trapped by the forest as a wanted fugitive
If it weren't for the red path that she made
Nopony would think that she even existed.

The shadow gave an evil laugh and disappeared.
