Spike woke up one night with a nightmare. He looked at the clock and saw that it was 4 am. He got out of his basket and looked out the window. All he saw, was the night sky and the Everfree forest.

"How can a forest so plain murder my friends?", asked Spike "Maybe they're not dead, maybe I still have a chance to save them."

Spike grabbed a backpack and put his belongings in it. Then, he walked out the door.

"I'll be back, Twilight", whispered Spike

Spike walked through Ponyville, until he found himself at the edge of the Everfree. He walked in and saw all the trees covered in spades, diamonds, clubs, and hearts.

"What's with the trees?", asked Spike

Suddenly, Sabine appeared behind Spike.

"Boo", said Sabine

Spike screamed and turned around

"Oh you shouldv'e seen your face, PRICELESS", said Sabine laughing

"Are-Are you Sabine?", asked Spike shaking

"The one and only"

"Give me back my friends you monster!"

"Oh Spike, your too late. Your friends are gone"

"N-no they can't be dead"

"Oh but they are. Let me show you"

Sabine used her shadow magic to pick up Spike by the tail. Then, she showed Spike a bloody tree with parts Rainbow Dash on every branch. When Spike saw that, he vomited.

"RAINBOW DASH"

Sabine gave an evil laugh and started singing.

"The first ALICE was a brave rainbow pony
Wielding a sword in a hoof in the Everfree
Slicing down everything in her wrath
Every kill she has made, left a bloody path.
This new ALICE of the red spade
Was trapped by the forest as a wanted fugitive
If it weren't for the red path that she had made
Nopony would think that she even existed."

Then she showed him Fluttershy's dead body laying on the blue stage with the red rose still in her eye. When Spike saw this, he started sobbing.

"The second ALICE was a shy yellow pony
She sang to the creatures of The Everfree
Filling regions with so many bad High pitched notes
That made the whole forest go crazy
This new ALICE of the blue diamond
Was shot by a bunny when things got out of hand
It left a blue flower bloom sadly red
The pony who was loved by all was now forgotten"

Then, she took him to the mirror with Rarity in it. On the mirror was an SOS written in Rarity's blood.

"The third ALICE was a charming white pony
Beautiful and Generous in the Everfree
She charmed ponies to her every beck and call
She had made a white country and became the queen
This new ALICE of the green club
Was taken over by a horrifying dream
She was afraid of losing her beauty
She would forever rule her ivory kingdom."

Then she showed him Pinkie and Applejack's heads on top a couple of a bushes. When Spike saw this, he fainted.

"During this two ponies were having fun
They had a nice picnic under apple trees
An invitation from the queen for them was
A golden ace of hearts
The fourth ALICE was two curious ponies
Their curiousity of the card let them to The Everfree
Going through many different types of areas
Coming not too long ago in a yellow boat
The energetic pink pony
And hardworking orange pony
Though they were the closest to the rhyming zebra's hut
They were never woken from their deep dreaming
Forever they wandered in the Everfree"

After she was finished, she dropped Spike.

"They-They really are dead", stammered Spike shaking

"That's what I've been saying", said Sabine in a sing-song voice

"Please, get me out of here"

"Oh your not going anywhere"

"What?"

"If I let you leave, you'll just tell that princess friend of yours what happened"

"Uh yeah, cause your evil"

"I know"

Sabine took Spike and threw him in the mirror with Rarity.

"Have fun you two", smirked Sabine walking away

"HEY GET ME OUT OF HERE", yelled Spike banging on the mirror "TWILIGHT HELP"

"Its no use", whispered a voice

Spike turned around and saw Rarity.

"Rarity", said Spike hugging her "Im so glad your alive"

"Unfortunately I am"

"Rarity, what happened?"

"Sabine happened. She came into my dreams one night and told me to kill someone I loved. If I didn't she wouldv'e possesed me and made me ugly", explained Rarity showing him her eye

"Oh no"

"She tricked me and now Im here, and now Im ugly and I wanna die"

"Rarity, please-"

"Don't even bother, even if I did escape no pony would even love me"

"I would"

"Huh?"

"I would still love you no matter what you look like"

"Oh Spike"

Rarity and Spike kissed.
