Element Warp Freaks
It was a peaceful night in Equestria. The stars shine, the moon was bright and the sound of crickets fill the air. Derpy was out one night wearing a yellow t-shirt, with blue shorts and white sneakers. Her eyes try to look at the night sky, but because they were looking in different directions, she couldn't make out what she was looking for. The night was suddenly fill with a loud noise that sound like someone broke the sound barrier and who was better at doing that then Rainbow Dash herself.
Rainbow flew through air leaving her trademark blur behind her. She was wearing white gloves, and white tank-top, black shorts and black and white boots. Her wings was flapping as she flew towards an fortress that suddenly come to life as she enter it. Rainbow flew around the traps and dodge the gun fire. She was having the fun of life, after all she done this many times. Rainbow jump over a robot and smash the next one before running on. She jump on top of another robot then another before smashing through a couple more. Rainbow ran through an tunnel and unknowing step on a mark that had a familiar face on it. Rainbow was fling up towards the sky, caught off guard.
However, Rainbow was able to spot an blue and red bi-plane that belong to her long before she could fly. Inside was Twilight, who was wearing an purple t-shirt, blue jeans and purple and black boots. Behind her was Pinkie Pie, who was wearing an white t-shirt, a long blue skirt and pink shoes. Both of them spotted Rainbow and Twilight flew the plane of to Rainbow, but was hit by a few bullets.
"Twilight! The plane's on fire! What are we gonna do?" Pinkie shouted!
"We're gonna save Rainbow!" Twilight said and her horn started to glow.
The bottom of the plane open up and shot a missile out at Rainbow. Before it could reach her, it open to show a thunderbolt coming at her. Rainbow smirk and grab it. Feeling the power rush over her, Rainbow flew back to the fortress at lighting speed. Twilight was trying very heard to land the plane, but was having a bit of trouble.
"Hang on Pinkie!" She said before spotting an huge rock that they were flying at.
"Ahh! We're gonna... CRASH!" Pinkie shouted.
"I KNOW!" Twilight shouted as they brace themselves.
Before they could hit it, and orange fist broke through it and the plane land safely. Twilight turn to see her friend Applejack. Applejack was wearing a checker shirt with blue work pants and cowboy boots. She push up her hat as she watch the fortress get a couple of flames.
"Applejack!" Twilight said happy to see her.
"Howdy." She said not looking at them.
"What's the matter with her?" Pinkie ask.
"Overkill. Just like always." Applejack said, shaking her head.
Inside the fortress, a strange creature mix with different animals wearing a red lab coat and black boots was looking over his computer. Unlike the rest of his fortress, it was more like a lab. His name is Discord and he plan on making Equestria fall into Chaos, but each time he was stop by Rainbow and her friends.
"Lord Discord, The facility is in 100 percent lockdown." His follower Tiara said.
Discord knew why and groan.
"Why is that cursed Rainbow always get in my way?!" He said placing a claw on his head.
"She doesn't get in your way, Discord." A voice said behind him, "Rainbow just tries to stop you from doing all the bad things you like to do."
Discord turn see Fluttershy trap in a glass tube. The pegasus was wearing a orange dress with yellow shoes and a butterfly hair clip in her hair. By her side was a white rabbit who nods in agreement.
"Ooh, is that so? Well, she's too late to stop me this time! Once I insert the last Element of Harmony, my energy amplifier will be invincible!" Discord gloated.
"But you can't do that!" Fluttershy said, knowing that the Elements can't be misuse or something bad will happen.
Angel move his arms around and Fluttershy understands what he was saying.
"That's right. Rainbow won't let you get away with this!" Fluttershy translated.
Discord laugh and said, "You're wrong, Flutters Clutters! She can't sto- ugh?"
Discord had turn during his speaking to see that blue pegasus standing in the doorway with a smirk on her face.
"Rainbow!" Fluttershy cheer happily on seeing her friend.
"Rainbow. Too late!", Discord said as he held up a switch and place his thumb on the button, "You'll never stop me now, Rainbow! Ho ho ho! All I have to do is to push this little button!"
Rainbow smirk didn't fade as she said, "Yeah! If you can push it before I grab it."
Discord stop laughing as he knew that was true. Rainbow could grab the switch before he can even push the button, however, he spotted one of his guard robots and smile.
"Why don't you give it a try?!" He challenge as the guard-bot fire at her.
Rainbow was quick as she dodge and ran from the robot.
"Don't let her get away! Mark her, no matter what!" Discord order it.
Rainbow flew around the room before flew in front of Discord and stop. She wait for the robot to fire and Discord quickly caught on.
"Ahhh! No! Hold your fire!" Discord shouted, but it was too late.
The robot fire as Rainbow flew away and Discord duck. The robot stop as the machine was ruin and the Element of Magic could be seen. Discord was about to get up and yell at his guard-bot when he notices that he push the button! The machine started up and the Element of Magic started to glow.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!!" Discord shouted as a white light cover them
Outside, the rest saw the light coming from the fortress and Twilight felt her horn acting up.
"What, is that?" Pinkie ask.
"It use Element Warp." Applejack answer as the light cover them.
"Ugh. Man, I must've passed out or something!" Rainbow said as she stood up from the light that cover her.
She started to look around when she hear a loud noise and saw something head right for her!
"Woaahhh!" Rainbow shouted as she dodge what ever was coming at her.
Rainbow heard another noise and flew up to dodge another thing that came at her.
Rainbow land in the made of the street and look around, seeing creatures that she never seen before.
"Where am I? What are they all staring at?" Rainbow ask herself as they look at her.
"What is this? Halloween?!" One of them said.
"So they can talk." Rainbow said to herself again.
"What is that thing?" One of the creatures dress in blue said.
"Look like a big horse." The another said.
"A blue winged horse?" The first spoke again.
Rainbow rise an eye as they call her a horse. She understand that horse was another name for pony, but she prefer the pony over horse. She watch as one of them learn down and try to get her to come over to him.
"Well, whatever it is, we better get it out of here. Hey, buddy. Wanna ride with us down to the station?" He said.
"Should I call for back-up?" The other ask.
"I have three kitty cats at home. I think I can handle this little fella." The first said.
Rainbow frown and cross her arms. She didn't know what this creature deal was, but she was getting annoy by it.
"See that? That thing's got an attitude. A bad one." The other told his partner.
"Yeah, well she won't get away from me! Huh?" The first said and try to grab her, but Rainbow took a step to the side with her speed.
"Why you little!" The first growl before a third one step up.
"Take it easy. I think we can handle this without getting rough." He said.
"Yeah, but sarge..." the first try to say, but the sarge already give out his orders.
"Duffy, get behind her." He told the second one.
"Right sarge." The one call Duffy said.
Rainbow watch as four of the creatures surround her and remain still and calm.
"Okay, when I say the word, we're all going to jump into him at once. Alright Dan, is everyone ready? Let's do it!" The sarge said and all fur of them jump on Rainbow.
"Okay sarge, I think I got its leg!" The new one said.
"I got around its neck, sarge!" Duffy said.
"Alright let's put her out at the count to three. One. Two. Three!" Sarge said and they pull.
Only they didn't have Rainbow, they had themselves! They spin around as they pull themselves as Rainbow sat on top of a car and smirk. Then she felt something cover her head and heard another one behind her.
"Don't worry, sarge! I got her!" It said.
Rainbow frown and use her speed to run with the creature. The others grab a hold as well, but was drag along before getting pile inside a car. Rainbow smirk again and flew off, surprising everyone.
Sarge snap out of it and grab the radio.
"Attention all units! Attention all units! A blue winged horse is headed north on Central Street. Shut down all thoroughfares that lead into and out of Station Square and set up a roadblock just before the on-ramp to 101!" He order.
A little ways out of town, two officers was talking about the message they just heard about.
"I've never seen a blue winged horse before, have you?" He ask his partner.
"It must've been one of those fancy sports cars from overseas. Hey, if we catch it, maybe the captain will let us drive it." His partner said.
"I bet it has one of those cute little hood ornaments that looks like a horse." The first said, adding his thought.
They both stop talking as they saw Rainbow standing on the hood of their car and was surprise when they heard her speak!
"I don't know how I got here, but I've gotta find a way to get out." She said and flew off, leavening the two officers speechless.
"Hey, did you see... what I just saw?" The first one got out.
"I think I did, but I wish I didn't." His partner said.
Above them, a helicopter flew in the air and heard the report.
"They were in hot pursuit and got away? Can't those clowns even catch a horse?" The pilot ask.
"There she is." The second pilot said spotted Rainbow flying near the street.
"Visual contact. Subject's headed north on the Central Street extension. By a mile and a half from the entrance to 101." The first pilot said into the radio.
"Roger, Delta 1. Unit 3, subject's headed your way. Repeat, subject's headed your way." HQ said then pass the message to the team on the ground.
"Don't you worry. This horse can't get under us, around us or through us. We'll stop her!" The officer said.
But they watch as surprise as Rainbow flew over them. Rainbow smirk before landing and speed off again.
"Well, she didn't get under us, around us or through us." The officer said nervous.
"Ah, they are going to love this down at headquarters. ", the first pilot said and pick up his radio, "Ah, Delta 1 to base. I'm afraid that roadblock didn't work."
"No! Don't tell me she got through." HQ ask.
"Okay." The first pilot said.
"Ugh, bad news." One of the officers said as he ran up to another one in a racing outfit.
"Don't worry. I think we've got what it takes to round up our fury little friend. Speed Team, get ready to roll!", He said before turning to his team, "What's the temperature of the road service tonight?"
"It's about 70 degrees. And dry as a bone." One of the Mechanic's said.
"Like breeze from the west." The leader said.
"Almost nothing." The second mechanic said.
"Road, hit in on smooth." The leader said climbing in.
"Nice and smooth." The first mechanic agree.
"Then, let's see... give it a fine crude medium soft." The leader said.
"Here you go." The second mechanic said.
"I programmed Gears 5 and 6 to freeway speed." An third one told him.
"Great." The leader said and grab his helmet.
"Oh, and I built that secret fuel tank on your car just like you asked me to." the third said again.
"Good work." He said.
"Chief, they last spotted the subject in mile 79 on 101 north." The officer from before reported.
"Roger, Alright team, let's move out!" The leader said as their cars started.
Rainbow sat on top of a street light and look into the night sky and realize something.
"The sky looks the same. So do the stars and the moon. I guess Element Warp must have send me here. I've traveled through space. Did I travel through time too? Am I the only one here? Are the others, gone? Well, guess I'll find out soon enough!" She said and jump down.
She was then hit by headlights and she cover her eyes. The lights dim and and Rainbow look up to to see the leader of the group jumping out of his car.
"Hi there! You're a hard horse to keep up with." He said as Rainbow turn away, "Hey, hold on! We don't get such fast company very often. In fact, I'm glad you showed up. This place is way too peaceful. Over the last 12 months, I've only made one arrest. Some joker got it into his head that he was a hot-shot driver. Had his own Formula-One car and everything. I guess he thought he give it a run for my money. But it was all over in a minute. Took me longer than that to suit up!"
Rainbow couldn't help, but to smirk at the end.
"He never had a chance! Of course it's our own fault, this town's domed mainly because of us. You see, we're the high-speed pursuit unit, the S-Team. And I'm the leader of the team. They call me the 'Highway Star'. So even if you think you're the fastest thing around, think again!" The leader said again and the other cars started up.
Rainbow gasp and took off knowing it was going to be a chase once again.
"Run fast, horse! I wanna be the one to catch you!" The leader said as the other pass him.
Rainbow ran on her feet as the car were right behind her and had some trouble keeping up.
"Ha, the S-Team, eh? The 'S' must stand for "slow-motion"." Rainbow chuckle and use her wings with her running.
"It's accelerating! Boost your rear-wing A to 20 degrees!" One of the members notices and order.
They soon box Rainbow in, but she wasn't worry.
"Well, well, well! It's starting to look like the rush hour! Oh no, how will I ever escape?" Rainbow said then pretend to be worry.
She made a quick stop as one of the member didn't see her. He close his eyes or a few seconds and open them to see that Rainbow was no where in sight.
"Where is she? Did I run her over? Huh?" He ask before look up.
He was shock to see Rainbow there smirking at him. He quickly snap out of it.
"Hey, you! This is dangerous! It's irresponsible! What happens if kids start trying this?" He said.
Rainbow look up at the readers and said, "Kids, don't use Formula-One race cars to chase ponies!"
Rainbow jump off the car and bust down the street once more.
"You're not gonna treat the S-Team like chumps! We'll teach you a lesson! Boost all wings .5 degrees and let's get this thing!" Another member order.
They soon reach Rainbow and was shock to see that she switch from running to flying while doing it backwards!
"What the-? How can-? It's playing with us!" The same member said before.
"Where did this thing come from?" Another one ask.
"Chief, you gotta do something!" The other one said to the leader.
He was listening well and was just as shock as his team, but he was tired of it mocking him and his team.
"Playtime is now officially over! Attention all units, open the center line! I didn't think I had to do this, but I have no choice. I will NOT have anybody, faster than me, on my highway!" He order and drove pass Rainbow.
"The only way you can beat me now is if she goes supersonic!" The leader smile.
He suddenly heard a loud noise and turn to see a Rainbow blur catch up to him. In his eyes, he saw Rainbow flying and smirking at him. He almost thought he heard, "So think you the fastest? Beat this!", But to his team, it was just a rainbow that pass him.
"A sonic boom! She's moving faster than the speed of sound!" The leader said in surprise.
He was so shock that one of the member notices something he didn't.
"Chief, you're running out of road!" One of them said.
He quickly hit his breaks and slow himself down as Rainbow zoom over the unfinished bridge and into the air. She pass a few wind turbines, making them spin like fans and the city grew brighter.
"Maybe this place isn't so bad. At least I know somebody who I can have fun with!" Rainbow said and look back at the leader who look at her.
Rainbow turn back and look to see where she was heading.
"Huh? A pool? No problem, I can fly to the side and land safely." Rainbow said before noticing her wings stop flapping.
"Uh, oh?!" Rainbow said, forgotten that her wings "burn out" whenever she break the sound barrier.
"See ya." Rainbow said the the readers and land in the pool with a loud splash.
The splash work up a boy in the house and he run outside to find out what happen.
Good news, the pool cool off her wings, Bad news, the pool made her wings wet making it impossible to fly out. Rainbow already try jumping out, but wasn't able to make it to the top. She saw a ladder and try running to it, but didn't move from her spot. After a while she stop and sat down, thinking of how dumb this was. She then heard another splash and look up. She saw a boy swim down to her and grab one of her hands and swim back up.
Rainbow cough up some water she had drink as the boy place his hand on her back. She was able to see that boy had blue eyes and blonde her and look to be the age of a pre-teen.
"That was close! Are you okay?" The boy ask.
"Ah, yeah. Thanks a lot!" Rainbow said as she cough up what was left of the water.
"I didn't think you could talk." The boy said surprise.
"I can do a lot of things." Rainbow told him.
"Wow, that's awesome...th-that you can talk, I mean. My name's Patrick. Do you have a name?" The boy said then ask.
"Yeah, I have a name. My name is Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow said with a smile.
