The halls of the old castle whistled as the wind swept through them, blowing dead leaves and dust across the many halls. The place was empty, bar the organ room which held six little ponies in it. They were all sat in a circle around an open fire, talking amongst themselves.

Suddenly, one of them cleared their throat. The other five stopped and looked at the owner of the cough, staring at the winged unicorn, ready to listen.

She looked around them, her navy blue mane with a pink and purple streak bouncing and swaying in her movement. She took a deep breath before beginning. "You've all been feeling it, right?" Her voice was calm and level, a somewhat uncomfortable tone for their situation.

One by one, every other pony nodded their response. Nodding back at her friends, the purple alicorn continued. "Something is causing disharmony amongst both the Elements of Harmony, and the natural elements." A gasp escaped the listeners, each of them looking at each other and conversing about what could be going on.

Eventually, one of them - a canary yellow pony with a long, light pink mane and tail - spoke up in a stutter. "U-Um, Twilight...What d-do you think is going o-on?" Standing up, Twilight stretched her wings out, before closing them again. She looked almost sad, standing in the pale red light of the camp fire.

Her hoof kicked a rock on the ground, the clattering sound echoing in the dark, damp abandoned castle. "I...I know as much as you guys do..." She answered with a sigh. "But, that's why we're here. Princess Celestia gave me this book of lesser known legends-" As she spoke, she levitated an old-looking book over and let it drop in front of the fire. Everypony stood up and quickly walked over to get a better look at it.

"-which she thought could help us in our investigation." Twilight used her magic to open the book, and sat back down where she had minutes before. She lifted the book to her face, and smiles while she flipped through the pages, stopping when she found what she wanted.

A cyan mare scoffed, looking at her with a weird look. "How will a book of Pony tales help?" Her voice sounded annoyed, as she's been called there in the middle of her afternoon practice.

She got a stern look from almost everypony, and she looked away. Twilight sighed, softening her face. "Rainbow, you'll understand when you hear this. Just like we all will." After a defeated sigh from her rainbow maned friend, Twilight cleared her throat, and began telling the tale from her book.

"The human born Pony - An Equestrian Legend...

"It is said to have happened on the day which the two Princesses banished Discord, Lord and Master of Chaos, into stone. The day which all ponies of every race, and others with whom lived in Equestria, celebrated in their barely sustainable homes.

"The land had fallen into a Great Depression, being worsened with the growing deficit of food and water. Our home was weak, rebuilding, trying to sustain as much life as possible. Our solar Princess was having a walk in one of the few tranquil places which was still in one piece...

"Our princess heard a loud, painful crying in the distance. She followed the sound in quick flight, turning left and right, in the search for her subject in peril. That's when she found it. A small, peach skinned creature with tiny things waving frantically in the air. We believe these to be called hands and feet.

"The creature is said to have transformed, in the most painfully beautiful way, into a tiny yellow foal, with large blue eyes and a pink mane and tail. Tiny orange streaks covered her mane and her tail had two streaks as black as the night.

She was an Alicorn..."
