Darkness. Darkness is all I could see in my limbo, as I float about trying to wake up, then I feel a tug, then another tug, I look behind me to see a light but I was tugged harder this time and my eyes opened revealing a medic and a grey sky.

"You okay!?" the medic asked over the sounds of squeals and gunfire in the background.

I nodded and sat up to see the rest of specter squad at my side killing cryptid after cryptid, I saw the dead body of a rhino that had pummeled me to near death, I look to my side and see my gun: an AK12 with muzzle breaker, fore grip, and red dot sight and I picked it up cocking it and I saw a scout creep up on our engineer who was busy fixing the drill, I quickly aimed and fired a burst at the creature splattering its orange blood all over the ground and killing it.

"Thanks for the save!" the engineer called over as I loaded another mag

"I'm running low on mags!" the tank, a heavy set soldier that fights more with devastating attacks than precision called.

To answer him I threw down an ammo crate filling our ammo supplies with armor piercing rounds, the scientists who armed us never explained how half the shit logicly worked, I put a mag in my AK12 and joined in the slaughter filling the street with blood and gore, when the seemingly endless hoard of crytids stopped we took a breather.

"Anyone keeping count?" the engineer asked and I shrugged

"I count 365 cryptids" the medic informed us and we groaned in way of reply.

I checked over my weapons, my AK12, a P226 with a muzzle breaker, my knife, and my trusty L115 with zoom scope. As I looked them over I dropped some vests and the team eagerly put them on apreciating the extra armor, I equiped my sniper rifle and I pulled the bolt back listening to the beauty of a bullet being chambered.

"You love that gun way too much" medic said making it sound like I have a problem.

I shrugged it off like usual, if you can't tell i don't speak much, you can thank my abusive parents and drill sargent, they beat the silence into me and because of my silence i've gotten called snake eyes once our twice. I looked into the scope of my rifle and saw movement, I made a motion with my hands and the squad got into action and I croached popping tagets from afar. Two hunters got close to me so I jumped on the lead cryptid and I held on using the spines on its back and put my pistol in the soft glowing parts and I emptied the mag. I jmped off and reload as I rolled and I fired at the second one but I didn't have the satisfaction of it dying, it plowed me over onto my back and tried to rip out my neck but my arm held it back, it snapped its jaws as it got closer and closer till it was blown off showering me in orange gore, I looked over to see the tank holding a smoking bulldog.

"Get up!" he yelled as he hoasted me up then I was splattered in blood yet again.

The tank was in he air with a spike jabbed through his chest and behind him loomed a breeder, I took a step back and fired countles bullets into its thick hide, with a shrill shreik it ripped the tank in half and threw his torso at me knocking me to the ground. I recoverd enough to see the tanks fear as he died painfully frozen on his face burning fear into my soul and putting me in shock, the engineer was, as always, by the drill but no matter how many he killed five more scouts would join and in the end they brought him to the ground and the cryptids aimlessly threw intetines and other body parts around not stopping for his plee's of help, I looked over to see a scorpian above the medic and coat him in acid, his blood curdling sceams piercing the dead air, then the giant breeder loomed over me and brought its head close to mine, I scowled at it as I held a C4 charge in my hands and the clacker in the other

"Welcome to earth" I growled and pushed the detenator.
