"Come on Elder you can't be tired already!" said one Elder Jared Roberts. Elder Roberts, a tall, lanky twenty year old man, clean shaven, with hazel eyes and short brown hair, was standing one foot on the ground the other on the pedal of his bike, rolling his eyes at the other Elder on the ground.
"That's *gasp* easy for *wheeze* you to say. *gasp, wheeze* You grew up in *gasp* Arizona, you're used to this heat." said the other Elder, Erik Jamison. Now while Elder Roberts was a burgeoning seven foot eight inches tall and still had one more year to grow, Elder Jamison was only about 5' 7" and was almost twenty one. Elder Jamison is not in the best of shape, but not the worst either.
Elder Roberts got off his bike and started walking, taking a moment to closely observe his surroundings. "Hey Elder, I found a shortcut, we'll get to our apartment in half the time." The path Elder Roberts found was small and very well hidden but more or less an easy path to take and in the shade of the trees no less.
"Alright, lets take it." Elder Jamison replied after quickly looking at the path. They both got on their bikes and headed down the path, it truly was much cooler and much easier than the main road they were taking. As the path continued it started to widen and look more cared for. The Elders kept going though, figuring maybe that this portion was more used than the end they'd started on, then they hit a bit of a bump in the road. They came to a stop at the top of a small hill what they saw worried them immensely, they didn't see a large town in Virginia, no, what they saw was a small hamlet in the middle of a large plain of rolling hills. Where the apartment would've been there were small thatched cottages.
"I think we made a wrong turn."
What they didn't know was that a resident of the town had seen them, and was hurriedly making her way back, screaming the entire way.

Meanwhile in Ponyville
Lyra had just left her roommate's home when suddenly Lily came running into Ponyville screaming.
"MONSTERS, UP ON THE HILL, RUN!!!!!!!" Lily passed by raising the eyebrows of everypony around, at least until they looked up at the hill and saw exactly why Lily was running. This in turn caused the rest of the town to tumult into sudden panic, the ponies running into their home.
Lyra too looked up at the hill, but instead of monsters this was more a dream come true. Even from as far away as she was she could tell they were humans. Lyra rushed back into her home, straight to her room. "They're humans, real humans. This is just the chance I've been waiting for. Just need to grab a couple things and then I can capture them." She put on her saddlebags and put two bottles in one of the pockets. She then grabbed the one spell book she had in her collection of journals about humanity. She flipped to a page and took a moment to make sure she had the shrink spell right. "Alright I'm ready!"
Lyra turned to rush out the door when she nearly ran head first into Bonbon. "What are you doing Lyra? You're not planning on going out NOW are you?" said Bonbon.
"Of course, those aren't monsters they're-" Lyra started.
"Humans, I get it. You go on about those creatures, they're just a myth. Those creatures out there, we don't know what they are, we don't even know if they're friendly they could try to-" Bonbon explained before being interrupted by a knock on the door.

Where the Missionaries are, minutes earlier
"Then again, maybe these woods are much larger than we thought." said Elder Jamison, taking another look at the town in front of him.
"We should probably go see where we are." said Elder Rogers putting his foot on the pedal of his bike.
The ride down the hill was uneventful, but the ride into the town was rather unnerving. The utter lack of life that seemed to be in the town was what got to them. It worried them, but they pressed on and went to the first house they reached.
"Well, lets try this door then." Elder Jamison got off the bike and walked it to the door, Elder Rogers followed suit. They looked at the door and then at each other, each raising an eyebrow. "Doors aren't supposed to be this short." They then shrugged and knocked on the door.
For a while there was no answer, then there were some odd footsteps and the door opened. There wasn't anyone at the door, they looked around for a moment. "Uh. Hello! Anyone there." Elder Rogers called out. Then a sudden gasp caused them both to look down. There was a small mint green horse at the door, with an odd looking mane as if it were styled. The three of them just stared at each other for a moment. Then the Elders noticed another odd horse just behind the first looking as if it tried to stop the other.
Then the newest one spoke, "Oh my." It uttered with a twinge of fear.
The two Elder's stood awestruck for a moment, then noticed something odd about the first. Her, they figured out from the uttering of the first, facial expression had changed from amazement to determined, but that isn't what drew their attention, it was the fact that her horn was glowing. Then something happened, something that struck fear into both the missionaries hearts, the pony sneezed and the glow flew off the horn and hit a mailbox, which suddenly disappeared from sight. With that the Elders came to a sudden decision, get the heck out of there.
The Elder's both grabbed their bikes and took off back up the road from which they came, the adrenaline coursing through their veins sped up their rush like none other. "No wait come back, I need prooooof!" was the shout that the pony who attacked them. Her calls became more and more pleading until they made it up the hill. They kept going until they found themselves in the familiar scenery of the street they'd started next too.
There they stopped for a moment, resting for a bit. "Where were we?" Elder Rogers asked.
"Don't care, *gasp* just glad we got out." Elder Jamison replied, "Hey Elder."
"Yeah."
"Let's skip the tracting that we had planned, we definitely need a break."
"Yeah."
They then proceeded to ride slowly back to the apartment on the normal route. Neither of them noticed the strand of white-green hair sticking out of Elder Rogers backpack.
Lyra thought gladly to herself, 'Good thing I also memorized a teleport!' *Squeak*
"You hear that?" Elder Rogers asked, a little fear bubbling up.
"Hear what?" Elder Jameson replied.
"I thought I heard a squeak, like a rubber duck or something. I guess it could just be the bike though." Elder Rogers said, fear dying down. Little did either of them know they had a stowaway who was planning something that definitely didn't benefit either of them.
