The Two Families.
A Date Over Coffee
Previous ChapterNext ChapterWacky woke up early in the morning. Not very usual of him though, almost rare. But today he had to get rid of some things that tempt him to get back to his drug addiction. He had a little stash hidden from Avian where he could never find it.
Wacky went the left side of the bed, he moved a dresser that sat next to the bed. He moved it to the side revealing a small tare in the wallpaper, he pealed it back to reveal a little hole in the wall. It had a small glass pipe, three plastic bags of weed and cocaine. A drug he never tried, he only sold it to his customers. And a small box, he pulled it out and found three bags, each full of bits. Last time he counted, he had over 2,000 bits in drug money.
He gathered all of the drugs and the pipe in his hooves and quietly left the house. He ran to the small waterhole near the edge of town. He put all of the drugs and pipe in another small box. He held it over his head and threw it inside the water. Making sure it wouldn't float to the top of the water, he tide a somewhat heavy rock to the box. He then flew off as quick as he could, hoping that nopony saw him get rid of the illegal drugs.
The only thing he kept, was the large amount of money he had, he had hid the three bags in the hole he hid his drugs in. Waiting for the right moment to spend that money. All he had to do now was go back to sleep and hope that nopony saw him dump the drugs and his old life into the water. He got back under his covers, but he couldn't help but smell the strong scent of his own love juice.
'Damn, I need some air freshener or something.' He thought to himself, so he quickly got out of the bed and lit some incense his old suppler from Saddle Arabia gave him. It smelt like Ebony Mishmash, a sweet blend with a hint of orange. He was just getting sleepy, his eyelids getting heavy the smell of his incense filling and calming his head. He finally fell into slumber.
But was abruptly woken up by the cries of the young foal Blind Spot.
"Damn. So close!"

Melody sighed as she cracked open her heavy eyelids once again. She could hear a loud moan of frustration coming from Snowflake's and Gigglebox's bedroom, the same location as the loud, incessant cry of a young foal. Another cry, just as loud, erupted from the room, as the crying of one foal awoke the other.
"I am never having kids." She groaned, rolling over to face the wall.
She glanced over at the alarm clock, placed on the shelf at the end of the bed. It read 03:48.
'Maybe I can cover up the circles under my eyes with a little foundation?' She thought to herself, rubbing the underneath of her eyes as she glanced in the mirror.
She eased herself out of bed, and walked out into the hallway, towards the master bedroom. She opened the door, and poked her head around it.
"Do you want any help?"
A blur of green suddenly ran past her, saying,
"Oh, sweet mother of Faust, thank you!"
Melody smiled a little to herself, and walked towards a crib that held a tiny, whimpering bundle. She gingerly picked it up, suddenly unsure of what to do. The colt that she held looked as though if she handled it too roughly, he'd snap in half.
"He's going to go and drown himself in caffeine now, you know." Said the voice of her younger sister.
"Poor bloke looks like he could use it, to be honest." Replied Melody, looking awkwardly down at the screaming bundle of 'joy' in her hooves.
"So, when are you going on your date?" Asked Snowflake, the same mischievous grin on her face.
"It's not a date." Replied Melody huffily, "Just a little get-together"
"Oh, come on!" Said Snowflake, "It's obvious that you like him!"
"Fine; I like him. Happy?" Asked Melody, somewhat mockingly.
"Very." Said Snowflake, restraining her laughter.

Melody sat at the table in the small coffee shop, sighing and looking at the clock every so often. She'd been sat waiting for twenty minutes, now. Admittedly, she had arrived five minutes early, but that didn't excuse the fact that Wacky was fifteen minutes late.
The stallion in question entered the coffee shop, and pulled up the chair opposite Melody. He looked a little tired, and as though he'd been running, but otherwise okay.
"You better have a damn good reason that you're so late, or else I'm walking right out of here." She said, but not angrily. More in a joking way.
"I will have you know that I was the victim of an extremely nonexistent sleeping pattern last night, then I had to do some⦠Spring Cleaning" He said, flicking some of his blonde, floppy hair out of his face, "And besides, there is such a thing as fashionably late, isn't there?"
"Yeah, and then there's plain late." Replied Melody, rolling her eyes.
"You see, this is why I like you," said Wacky, "You act like you hate me, even though we both know, and probably the waitress, too, that you like me just as much as I like you."
A tint of rose made its way to Melody's cheeks. He had her nailed, and they'd barely even had a civil conversation.
"So, Melody. Are you just Melody, or is there something else you'd prefer to be called?" He asked. The way her name sounded in his voice sent shivers down her spine.
"I'm just plain old Melody." She said, taking a sip from her previously ordered coffee.
"Well, let me do something about that." He said, "How's Mel for 'ya? Or are you still 'plain old Melody'?" He said, in a terrible British accent.
"You can call me Mel if you really feel that you must." She said.
"Well, that's okay, then, because I really wanna call you Mel. It sounds cute." He said, earning another blush off of Melody, "Not unlike a certain mare I know. Particularly when she blushes."

The two talked for a couple of hours in the small coffee shop, gradually learning more and more about each other.
"I guess I'd better go." said Melody, draining her cup, "Home calls, y'know?"
"Well, at least let me walk you home." Said Wacky, "What sort of pony would I be if I let a mare as pretty as you walk home on her own?"
After an hour or so of walking, Wacky suddenly stopped.
"That's my house, right there." He said, pointing.
"It's pretty swanky." Commented Melody with a slight nod.
Wacky hesitated for a fraction of a second before asking, "D'ya wanna stay around for a bit?"
"Oh, that's fine I don't want to intrude." Melody replied not trying to sound eager to visit his home.
"Oh I don't mind Mel, besides it's getting close to sundown. I don't want you walking home alone at night. Could get mugged or somethin' you know?"
Melody thought about his offer, it did sound tempting and it was getting late. So she simply nodded her head and followed Wacky to his home.
Wacky couldn't help but blush himself. When Wacky and Melody got to the house, Wacky checked inside the window. Looking like he was making sure it was empty. Melody wondered why Wacky looked so paranoid, but a quick glance at towards her seemed to calm him down. He pulled out some keys from under his wing and unlocked the door. The interior of the house was nice, clean, and neat.
"So, you live here by yourself?" Melody asked, still observing the interior of the home.
"Well, no. I live with a friend and his wife. See, my actual house is being demolished, so I have to crash here in my old room for now. But if you ask me, I think it's a pretty good deal! All I have to do his pay my half of the bills and take care of the little rugrat my friend and his wife had. Speaking of, where the hell are they?" He went through the rooms leaving Melody to herself to register the information she was just given. But before she could fully reflect on her thoughts Wacky returned with two cans of beer in his hooves.
"Why are you doing, just standing there? Take a seat." He said casually as he slumped down on the couch. "You wanna beer?"
"No, thank you, I don't drink." Melody replied. A shocked and confused expression grew on Wacky's face.
"What? C'mon, it's good; here, give it a sip." Wacky said as he swung the open can to Melody's face.
"No!"
"Please?"
"I said no, Wacky!" She playfully insisted.
"Look, just one sip!" Wacky said now trying to lean towards her to get the can closer to her muzzle.
"I said no! NO!" She shoved Wacky away from her, sending him to the floor, but his hoof was able to grab onto her leg before he hit the ground making Melody fall on top of him. They laid there with the spilled alcoholic beverage on the carpet.
"I-I'm sorry, I'll get up." Wacky said bashfully, starting to get up but was stopped by a pair of hooves that pinned his shoulders down. He looked back at Melody, who was already a half inch away from their muzzles meeting. Her warm breath tickled and teased Wacky's muzzle. Wanting more of Melody, he made the first move on her. The distance between them closed as Wacky gently kissed the mare. Melody was surprised at the approach that Wacky took, she was even more surprised that she didn't make the first move; it was always her who made the first move on other stallions she'd dated before.
Wacky slowly slipped his tongue between his and Melody's lips, causing her to gently moan at the act. She surprised herself by actually departing her lips to let Wacky's tongue free to roam the inside of her mouth.
Finally finding her tongue, Wacky played with her tongue with his, making her giggle inside his mouth. But Melody was almost saddened when she felt Wacky's lips depart, but then he started to kiss her neck and and gently nipped at it, electing a small yelp from Melody, feeling the sudden pain run through her.
But it felt amazing.
Wacky gently nuzzled her neck and began a small journey down her neck, getting to her chest. Melody was able to make words from her moans and gasps to ask,
"You've done this before?"
Wacky paused to reply,
"First time, toots." His face was deviant and was bright with a devilish grin of lust on his muzzle. He continued his love spree on her chest moving to her belly. As he laid gentle kisses, she began to giggle.
"Ticklish, huh?" Wacky said with a smirk.
"Maybe." Melody answered. He stared at her for a few seconds, almost dying from how adorable she was. She was blushing but had a small grin on her face and had one ear flopped down.
As he went back to his love mission, he felt something odd on his chest and lower neck area. It was wet, it couldn't have been the beer since it was a few inches from Melody's head. His sudden realization slapped him in the face as he gained a look of shock but was brought to the same devilish grin.
"So it's gonna be like that, is it?"

Avian and Blurry entered the living room with Blind Spot in a little carriage. Blurry could smell something odd, though, but she couldn't tell what.
"Babe, do you smell that?"
"Did Blind take a crap again?" Avian asked leaning closer to Blind getting some whiffs of the foal.
"No, no, it smells like... Oh, dearest Celestia, no!" Blurry exclaimed, she quickly but cautiously felt her way to what was Wacky's room. She slowly opened the door with Avian right behind her.
"Babe, tell me what it is." Blurry said, still worried of what the smell was.
Avian was too shocked to speak. He saw Wacky and a mare he'd never seen before latched onto him with her hooves wrapped around his chest. The mare's head rested on the beige fur of Wacky, and Wacky was sleeping with a grin plastered on his face.
"Babe?" Avian whispered.
"Yes?" Blurry replied, worried of what he might say. Not being able to put his thoughts into words, Avian said three simple words.
"Wacky got some."
