Voooorpp....Voooorpp....Voooorpp---THUD Another sunny day in Equestria. Birds chirping, sun shining, wind blowing. Everything was running as normal. There was a mare, walking through the fields on a dirt trail to spare some time. Her name was Carrot Top. She liked going on walks, she felt that it gave her strength and kept her musical talent in sync. Carrot Top was one of the 'Lucky Ones', as I like to call them. She heard a loud crack in the sky. An Einstein-Rosen Bridge opened above her, and out came the TARDIS. With me in it. Holding onto my console, being through side to side as my ship crashed down into an unknown dimension. Carrot Top looked frightened as the TARDIS landed in front of her. She stood still with shock. I opened the doors and walked out. My clothes were singed, my hair was burnt, and my body covered in bruises. "Hallo!" I said, panting. Still in my human form. "I'm the Doctor." "D-d-doctor...Who?" Carrot Top asked. "Good question." I said. From that moment, I passed out. Next thing I remember, I was being put on a bed in a small house. It seemed comparable to a human house from the Middle Ages, just the proportions were smaller. It was a bit hard to fit, but I believe I was fine. I woke up, laying on a bed, my shoes (or what was left of them) hanging off the side. I looked around and saw some eggs and a glass of water. Carrot Top was standing by my bed, balancing on three legs, while holding a tray with the food in it. "Awake?" She asked. "What's it look like?" I replied. I took the eggs and dropped them in the water and drunk it. She gave me a strange look. "What?" "Nothing, I've just never heard of even a human eating like that before." Carrot Top said. "Humans? Where are the humans? I'm most acquainted with that race." I said. "They don't exist here...they're mythological beings." Carrot replied. "Oh yes...different dimensions." I said to myself. "You're a human aren't you?" She asked. I gave her an offended look, then started laughing loudly. A stallion walked in. "Ey! You!" I shouted. He looked at me. "Yeah, you! She thinks I'm a human! HAHA!" I looked back at her. "You are one silly pony you know that?" "Why?" Carrot asked. "Because I only LOOK human!" I said. "I'm a TIMELORD. I'm 1,232 years old! And I'm dying." "You're dying?" Carrot asked again. "Yes I'm dying, a Timelord can only regenerate twelve times. Like a clock." "Regenerate..." The stallion asked. I assumed he was a doctor or a nurse. "Yes, nurse." I said. "I'm a doctor..." He replied. "I'm THE doctor." I said giving him a haha look. "Come with me." I got up and ran out of the room. My TARDIS was outside of the house being examined by a couple of construction workers I assume. I ran up to them and shooed them away. "Sir, please, we are trying to---" One said before I interrupted him. "Trying to break my TARDIS now get off!" I said pushing him back. I looked up and saw a crane on the top of it. "Really? REALLY?!" I shouted. I took out my screwdriver and took the crane off. I pointed it to the vehicle and malfunctioned it. "Better, now as I was saying, Timelords have a way of cheating death, which for me shouldn't work, but it goes a little bit like this!" I threw back my head and began to regenerate. Everyone stood back as the blast forced it's way through me. My TARDIS began to rematerialize. I began to scream and shout as my most painful regeneration finished. I fell to the ground. “He changed…” said one of the stallions. “Dear Celestia, it’s a changeling!” said another. “No…” The doctor said, facing the opposite direction of me. I used this as an opportunity to look good. “Changelings use a green aura to hide their transformation. This thing was using—“ “It’s called a Regeneration Blast.” I said. “I regenerate decayed and diseased tissue via a series of self-replicating, biogenic molecules. The cells of my body were repaired, restored and re-organised, resulting in a wholly new physical form. My brain cells were also rearranged, though to a lesser extent; this new incarnation does retain the memories of the former incarnation, though my personality changed, funny that, the degree of this change depending upon me in question. I should only have twelve regenerative cycles to avoid decaying biogenic molecules. But, looks like I have something else to look into.” The doctor slowly turned back to face me. With astonishment, he left his jaw open. There I stood. Old species gone. I was something entirely different. To be honest, I was surprised I actually regenerated a thirteenth time. I had to know how. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have some consulting to do with my TARDIS! Off to chase the error stick!" Everyone looked at me confusedly. I don't even know why I said that. Whatever, I'll just keep going with the story. I walked into my TARDIS and set the location to temporal mid-shift. It puts the TARDIS in the midpoint of the time vortex so that it can stay present in a place that time doesn't exist. "TARDIS, activate vocal response." I said. "It's actually audiographic response, Doctor." The TARDIS said. "Oh you know what I mean, anyway, what happened?" I asked. "You should know, enter the mental interface, I'll show you." The TARDIS replied. "Alright." I responded, doing as I was told. The TARDIS filled my mind with all of the information on the planet that was available to the recently updated TARDIS intelligence core. "Do you see it now?" The TARDIS asked. "I'm...Restarting my lifespan. The new doctor...in the new dimension." I said. I stood in amazement, as I knew 1,200 years ahead...I would live to see the light of day. To explore a universe with no danger. No one to save, just adventure. I set the TARDIS to travel to three minutes after I dematerialized. I put on some proper clothes (which the TARDIS found) and took my new sonic screwdriver. I opened the TARDIS door and popped out, looking at all of the ponies among me. "Brace yourselves everyone!" I said. "The New Doctor, Has Arrived!" The Golden Harvest has occurred. Chapter 2: The Lucky OnesIt lies in perfection, destroying all corruption. A few hours later, I finally got the rest to leave. I decided to talk a little more to Carrot Top. The doctor was still there, I wouldn't mind getting to know him too. "So, what's your name?" I ask Carrot Top. "Golden Harvest," she said. "but most ponies call me Carrot Top." "And you dear fellow, what is your name?" I ask the doctor. He looked up at me and said, "My name is Dr. Healthy Heart." the doctor replied. "I'm a neurological, and biogenetic scientist. I also study anything biochemical relating to the pony anatomy." "That's good to know." I said. "Seems your species is individually named by it's talent." "That would be correct." Dr. Healthy said. I did think it was rather silly, the names, but I had to get used to it. This was now my world and my dimension, I'm now here to help THEM. "Well, how would you two like to be my companions?" I said. They both looked at me oddly. "You're...what...?" Carrot Top asked. "My companions, you know, travel through time and space, and still be back home in time for tea!" I said. They still looked at me oddly. "You're a mad pony...why in Equestria would we go with you?" Dr. Healthy asked. "I'm a mad-man with with a box you're darn straight." I said. "And here there is nothing to be afraid of, no Daleks, no Cybermen, nothing deadly!" "And how are we supposed to travel in a portapotty?" Carrot asked. I looked at her, very offended. "It's a police box, not a portapotty!" I shouted. "Come, look." I lead them back to the TARDIS and unlocked it. I opened the doors and let them walk in. Immediately, their jaws dropped open. "It's bigger on the inside..." Carrot said. Meanwhile, the doctor was looking outside and inside repeatedly. "It's smaller on the outside..." he said. "She got it right." I replied, nudging him to inside. "Come on, you have a lot to see." I walked up to my new console. "Wow, look at this, more red buttons! Oh, and a pear destroyer! I love it!" I exclaimed. I put the TARDIS back into temporal mid-shift. "What did you do?" Dr. Heart asked. He began to panic, which I didn't like, so I stopped him quickly. "We went to temporal mid-shift!" I said quickly. "I just didn't want to waste your time, because no matter how long we stay here, the time on Earth---Equestria doesn't change." "Oh..." Dr. Heart said. He looked around at the place. "Now that I'm thinking about it...this place is amazing. "It's an infinite ship." I said. "There are unlimited rooms to it. The TARDIS is powered through one primary unit, the Architectural Reconfiguration System. It's a tree, I'll show you on the monitor." I pulled up the TARDIS monitor and displayed the ARS. "This is why my TARDIS looks different." "That's cool." Carrot Top said. "Oh it's MUCH more than cool." I replied. "The TARDIS is the most amazing and coolest thing you'll ever see! What is your special talent, or hobby?" "Singing...I can play instruments." Carrot Top said. "Then head on over to the music room." I replied once more with joy. "Instruments, sheet music, and musical softwares as far as the eye can see!" I turned to face the doctor. "And what about you, doctor?" "I'm a health scientist. Not much to it." Doctor Heart replied. "Well there is here!" I said. "Go on, make your way to the medical rooms, all on one compartment. Everything you'll ever want information wise is all contained in that room." "It's like you were expecting us." Carrot said. I looked at her and smiled. "No, I wasn't expecting you." I said. "She was." I lifted my...now called a hoof up to the Time Rotor to point at it. "The TARDIS, you called it?" Dr. Healthy said. "Time And Relative Dimension In Space." I replied. "Yes." "Is it alive?" the doctor asked again. "Oh yes it is. It feels everything." I said. "So when do we start traveling?" Carrot asked. I looked at her and grinned. "When you give me somewhere to go." I said. "Somewhere awesome." ...The Golden Harvest... Chapter 3: My Stupid LuckMore Precious than gold, more flawless than diamond... "Here we are then!" I said. Pulling the handbrake. I opened the doors to one of Equestria's twin planets. The air smelt fresh, except there was a slight stench of methane. I thought it was one of my recent companions, I laughed to myself quietly and didn't mention it. I looked around and saw fields of grass and a few trees and mountain ranges. It wasn't what I expected, but I guess I could admire it. The atmosphere felt a bit off, I took my screwdriver and did an atmospheric pressure scan. I also noticed that the grass seemed to be singed, along with some smoke in the distance. "Dear Celestia...it exists!" Healthy said. He looked in awe at the vast fields and the clean environment. "Wow..." Carrot Top said. "I never thought we'd have another twin planet." "Oh hundreds and hundreds." I assured her. "This one just happens to be non-hostile." "What do you mean...non-hostile?" The doctor asked. "I thought you said there were no bad-ponies?" "Just making sure!" I said. "Better safe than sorry." I never enjoyed brining my companions on a trip that involved them dying. Too much excitement for one day. "Alright." Healthy said, reassured. As I was scanning, I noticed a lot of odd readings. "Strange." I said to myself. "What?" Carrot Top asked curiously. "I was talking to myself why did you interrupt me?" I said. She looked at me like I was an idiot. "Oh...sorry..?" Carrot Top said confusedly. I continued to look at my readings. Increased atmospheric pressure, temperature levels rising, high methane levels...it was like the atmosphere itself was collapsing. I finished my readings and looked at Carrot Top. "Now, what was your question, dear?" I asked. Carrot looked at me. "What is it Doctor," she asked. "what's strange?" I looked at her, then back at my screwdriver. Pulling it out again I noticed something else. "Atmospheric pressure." I said. "It's increased by 12%, rising at a rate of 0.00241 Pascals. The temperature readings are above this planets average." "What's the average?" Healthy asked. "78 Degrees." I replied. I waited for the next question to come about. "And what is it now?" Carrot asked. I looked back as my eyes grew wider. I slowly turned my head. "152 Degrees." "Why aren't we roasting then?" Healthy asked. He gave me the look of idiocy once more. "What are you complaining?" I asked, hastily unlocking the TARDIS door. "No, I was just---" "Well get in the TARDIS and I'll show you!" I interrupted, now opening the TARDIS door. The two ran in as I opened the monitor on the TARDIS. I halted all of my actions. "You know what I just realized?" I said suddenly. "What?" Carrot asked. "I'm a horse." I said. Looking down and panicking. "I'm a horse! I can't believe it I'm a horse a bloody horse!!!!!" I started to jump around hastily checking mirrors everywhere I saw. Healthy finally grabbed my attention after flagging me down multiple times. "Doctor!" Healthy said. "You've been a horse! And you're not horse, you're a pony!" I looked up again. "Oh. Yes. Of course." I pressed a few buttons on the console. "Come to think of it, I like ponies. Ponies are cool." The two looked at me confusedly. "So...what's wrong with the atmosphere?" Carrot asked. "Just a few shifts of---" I started, before being interrupted by a hostility alarm. "What is that Doctor?!" Carrot asked, panicking from the sudden alarm sound. I quickly shushed her and looked at my monitor again. "What...I thought I..." I said, looking at what I entered in the location. I began to laugh. "What's so funny?" Healthy asked in a slightly frustrated tone. "I accidentally typed 'hostile' instead of 'non-hostile'!" I said. "Brace yourselves! It must be a new species that I know nothing about!" "DOCTOR...?" "No..." I said to myself. I froze in place. Eyes wide, facial expression of panic. I knew that voice from anywhere. "You aren't supposed to be here..." "What...who?" Carrot asked, her face showing utter concern, and at the same time intense fright. "THE DOCTOR?!" The voice said again. I began to panic. I frantically switched the TARDIS monitor to the front camera. "No...No...NO!" I shouted. "THIS CAN'T BE!" I started hitting the console. "WHAT IS IT?!" Healthy shouted with frustration. His face red with determination to get an answer. "TARDIS IDENTIFIED, DOCTOR LOCATED!" The voice shouted. "THE DOCTOR WILL IDENTIFY! THE DOCTOR WILL IDENTIFY!!!" "NO! NO!!!" I shouted into the monitor. "How did you get to this dimension? WHY ARE YOU HERE?!" "EMERGENCY TEMPORAL SHIFT." The voice said back to me. "It's always that..." I murmured to myself angrily. I raised my voice once more. "All of you? ALL OF YOU? The same place?!" "RE-ENGINEERED EINSTEIN-ROSEN BRIDGE." The voice said. "What is your name....Dalek..." I asked. "MY NAME. IS DALEK SEVIK. LEAD COMMANDER OF DALEK UNIT 351." The voice said. "Dalek...what is Dalek?" Carrot asked with confusion. "Living Hell that's what it is. In fact, its just like all of your sins in a single tank." I said. "We need to get out. These things will exterminate us before we have the chance to explain ourselves. Come to think of it, I'm confused at why they haven't fired yet." I pulled the handbrake back, and nothing happened. The Time Rotor malfunctioned and stopped. The TARDIS power went out. "What the bloody heck...Override?!" Suddenly, the doors burst open with the force of an atomic division. "What is happening?!" Carrot shouted as Five Daleks entered my TARDIS. "Duck! Duck!" I shouted. "They're Daleks they take you if they need you!" "WE APOLOGIZE FOR SUCH UTTER FORCE, BUT YOUR COOPERATION WAS NOT EXPECTED. YOU WILL BE BRIEFED ON THIS UNIVERSE!" Dalek Sevik said. It ordered the other Daleks to give us "anesthetics." The Dalek shot me with neurological-override beam. I don't know why...but I don't remember anything since. Only my companions screaming, and shouting, and being put to sleep. I didn't want to be the reason for their death. Not again... The Golden Harvest. Chapter 4: The Impossible Daleks"SUBJECTS WAKING, SIR." "ESCORT THEM TO THE BRIEFING CHAMBER. INCLUDE THE GOLDEN HARVEST." I heard a Dalek drive over to me. It grabbed me, and drug me gently to a briefing room, along with my companions. I had failed, so badly. First companions, and I've already killed them. I felt horrible. I wanted to apologize, but I wasn't conscious enough to do so. The Daleks probably wouldn't let me. What was this about a Golden Harvest? I HATE Daleks. I hate them so much. They're the WORST thing to ever exist in the universe. They have NO morality, and any bit of existing morality, is DESTROYED by their mind. Daleks don't say sir, Daleks don't say sorry, Daleks don't take prisoners, Daleks...Exterminate. There is something strange about these particular Daleks, however. They haven't done any of that. Something must be wrong with them. We were locked to a few chairs. There was a black Dalek inside. I finally woke up and looked around me. My companions began to wake up too. "WAKEY, WAKEY." The Dalek said. "WELCOME, DOCTOR AND COMPANIONS." "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..." I said to my companions. "SORRY?" The Dalek asked. "FOR WHAT?" "For YOU!!!" I shouted attempting to break free from the seat. I couldn't do it though. "Doctor." The Dalek said, calmly. "We are not your enemies." I froze in place. Was I dreaming? "Wha...what....?" I asked. "We are not your enemies, doctor." the Dalek said. "What is your name then, Dalek?" I asked. "My name is Dalek Shay." the Dalek said. "I come from the planet Skaro. I was warped by my fellow Daleks. If you're confused, our anti-morality memory compiler has been malfunctioned from the dimensional shift beyond repairability. We are a new race of Daleks." "Good Daleks..." I said. I couldn't believe it. I'd seen ONE good Dalek before, after going inside it and fixing a radiation leak. "This dimension...it's a miracle!" I smiled. "Good Daleks! I can't believe it!" "So you see it now?" Dalek Shay asked. "Good Daleks." I said. "Now I've seen everything." "Doctor...where are we..?" Carrot asked. "Honestly I have no idea." I said. "Maybe Dalek Shay can tell us?" "You have a time machine, Doctor." Dalek Shay said. "You can travel back after briefing." "What do you mean?" I asked. Why would a Good Dalek hold me for briefing? "You and I both know that you don't know that much about this dimension." Shay replied. "You are a timelord in a dimension far worse than your origin. This dimension contains little technology, but vast amounts of an unknown element referred to as Magic." "Unknown element..?" Dr. Healthy said, being fully awake. He looked at the Dalek. "Magic is the most common thing in Equestria, and what is all of this, dimension stuff? We are the only dimension that exists!" I looked at him and back at the Dalek. Shay and I both began to laugh uncontrollably. "Ohhohoh!" I said. "There are Twenty-Six different dimensions, 324 Universes, 2152 Parallel Universes, and an entire collection of pocket dimensions!" "How is that possible...our logic doesn't support that..." Healthy said. "I've tried and tried to hypothesize the existence but---" "But you never understood." Shay interrupted. "Because you exist in the second dimension, you cannot fathom anything higher. The third dimension consists of three geometries. Two dimensional, Three dimensional, and Four dimensional. These dimensions are shown by the following objects: Square, Cube, and Tesseract. Though the human race can only put two and three dimensional objects on a coordinate grid. They can imagine one dimension ahead from their consistent level, and one behind." "Fascinating..." Healthy said. "What else do we need to know." "You do not need to know anything." Dalek Shay said. "Nor the female. The Doctor must know." "But why all of this?" I asked. "What?" Shay replied. "What do you mean?" "I mean...Why would you go through all of this trouble to tell me this?" I asked. "Because, Doctor," Shay replied again. "this universe is under a major threat. A dark force of time that only you can defeat, and you must know everything about this dimension and it's aliens to destroy it. We have gathered that information." "How long have you been here?" I asked once more. "2,000 Years." Shay said. "Relative to the third dimension. It's actually been 12,000 years." "Just as I imagined..." I said. "Separate realms, separate time spans." "Are you ready for your briefing, Doctor?" Dalek Shay asked. "Yes. I'm ready." I said. The Dalek put a device on my head. It was going to hurt, but it was worth it. Maybe I would know more about this...Golden Harvest. Chapter 5 - The Frozen WorldI finally see it! The Golden Harvest is the Answer, I must find it. I must think about it very hard, then I shall grasp it in it's true meaning. I can wield it against the dark force and destroy it! Something feels odd, however. It's like I've already found it... Vooorrpp Vooorrpp--THUD "Here we are then!" I said. I opened the TARDIS doors to Equestria's NON-Hostile twin planet. The TARDIS shields turned off as the environment was completely safe. Also, just in case you were wondering, the Daleks were recognized as friendlies from that point on. Well, those few. "And this one has NO hostiles...right?" Dr. Healthy said. I gave him an assuring gesture. Or at least that's what I thought it was before he gave me a confused expression. "That means yes." I said. "Sorry, still getting used to not having fingers." Both Carrot and the doctor gave me a confused look this time. I sighed to myself slowly and said, "It's a human thing." We walked out on the soft fields of a type of grass-resembling vegetation. The two, surprisingly, noticed the difference quickly. "What is this, doctor?" Carrot Top asked. "It doesn't look like normal grass." I squatted down and took a look at it. The grass curled out in a crystal formation. It seemed to hold a sort of energy as opposed to water. It's form was much different than chlorophyll. I plucked a piece out of the ground and it quickly wilted. "Doctor...what is it doing to the Taa...The Box?" Healthy panicked. I quickly turned to look at my TARDIS which was now covered in an aura. The TARDIS went completely black as all of it's power was drained. "No no!" I said. "I swear I thought this planet WASN'T hostile!" I looked down and noticed the small blade of grass grew back. I had an idea. "What are we supposed to do now?" Carrot asked. "Okay, my hypothesis:" I started, clearing my throat. "The grass is a species of plant that revolves around a balanced energy transmission. Once even a piece of one blade is torn off, it restabalizes by draining the energy out of anything nearby, whether it be a living organism or a machine. However, we can eliminate it's threat if we overcharge it, which would cause an large electrical field over the grass that would kill us. If we can get far enough away, the TARDIS will harvest the approximate 315,000 amps of electrical energy and turn it into nearly 800,000 Quadromolecules of Artron energy. That would dispose of the field and refuel the TARDIS. That will take about 3 hours, but in that time we can explore the planet. So follow me, and run because we're fixing to fry." I pointed my screwdriver to the grass and reversed the polarity of the neutron flow, causing the alien vegetation to overflow within the next three minutes. I was hoping no one else would be there. We ran out of the field and into a different type of vegetation that surrounded the other plant. Eventually, we made our way to a sort of village. Looked abandoned. No ponies roaming about. No alien species. Nothing. The town was very nice, however. It's buildings were made of beautiful architecture that could have only been completed and maintained by an intelligent species. The buildings were in perfect shape with now flaws whatsoever. I assumed then that everyone was there, just asleep or resting. I walked into two large crystal gates. I got a closer look at the building's architecture. It seemed to be constructed of solidified Carbon Dioxide. The creatures must have liked the cold, and were very advanced to sustain frozen CO2 in a 73 degree Farenheit temperature. That must have been why they never came out, sensitive to heat, the sun. Maybe they didn't like caves. I could assume that there would be strays that were hostile in the caves, or maybe just plain stupid. But these creatures were very intelligent. Far beyond their time. I noticed something on the ground that said "Golden Harvest." What was the big deal about it? I disregarded it, and walked into it. I walked up to a door and knocked. I looked to my companions and said, "Don't touch it. It's Solidified Carbon Dioxide, you'll get frostbite the instant you make contact." They nodded and the door was opened. I saw a creature that resembled a pony. I assumed from it's figure and distinctive eyelashes that it was female. "Hello? Who are you?" She asked. "I'm the Doctor, I'm from a different world. These are my companions." I replied, pointing to my companions. "We were just exploring, and we certainly mean no harm. Also may I say you do look quite beautiful. You cities too. I admire the architecture." I smiled, but she didn't smile back. "Okay" I said, beginning to frown. "Sorry...Doctor....It's just that..." She stopped, took a breath, and continued. "We're all dying." The Golden Harvest must be here. I know in my heart, that it is near. Chapter 6: RefreezingI'm missing something...what is it? Looking over these adventures...something was important! Something...the Golden Harvest is somewhere! I sat in a room. It was nearly freezing. My companions were wrapped in blankets that the female alien had to offer. She apologized for the inconvenience, and walked into another room. I looked around the building. It was even more of a beauty on the inside. They used Particle-Retardent Luminosity Dischargers in a wiring system that closely resembled chandeliers. I could spot arches all around the building, with Magnetic Field Stabilizers for doors. Designs covering the walls were almost like that of Gallifreyan symbols. Their furniture was carved out of an element known has Hydrilicia. I knew I had found one of the most intelligent species in this universe, and I had to save them. "What is this planet?" Carrot Top asked. I knew that one day she would stop asking questions so often, but for now I'd have to answer. "It's called..." I thought hard. I actually didn't know. "Haha! Again I don't have any idea! I'm so happy." Healthy and Carrot gave me an odd look. Healthy was about to speak when the female came back in. "We're referred to as Tetracortanians." she said. "My name is Urselatreyaenna. You can call me Ursela, if you like." "And there goes that feeling..." I said to myself with a frown. I quickly smiled and looked up at Ursela. "I'm the Doctor, I'm a Timelord from the Planet Gallifrey, Constellation Kasterborous, Third Dimension." "Doctor who?" Ursela asked with confusion. "Just the Doctor." I said with a smile. "And what is your doctrine in?" Ursela asked. "Umm.." I said. I had never been asked this question before...oddly. "No doctrine. I'm just, the Doctor. I fought in a war, it was kind of a..thing...you know with...stuff and...well...things..." Ursela gave me an odd look and nodded. "What about the Equusferuscaballus?" Ursela asked, pointing to my companions. They gave an odd look to each other, and then to me. "Just companions, a doctor in biology and a singer." I said. "What did she say?" the doctor asked. I was fixing to answer before Ursela interrupted me. "I thought he was a doctor in biology?" She stated. "Healthy," I said. "Equusferuscaballus is your species name." The doctor looked down to the floor, ashamed. He only knew the Equus part. I looked back up at Ursela. "So it seems the Tetracortonians are very intelligent, when did you gain this intelligence?" "Three quarters ago." Ursela replied. She looked out the window, then back at me. "Moon cycles?" I asked. Ursela nodded her head in confirmation. I could approximate they got their technology in just a month or two. This was astounding. Never once had I seen a race evolve so quickly. From primitive species to an R.T.S. Quite fascinating, I definitely wanted to stay and learn more. Ursela quickly turned her head to a door way. A large Tetracortanian walked out. He had a crown on, and a red robe. He resembled a stallion himself, but much larger and bright blue. Replacing a fur coat, was a substance similar to skin. Just from it's looks, I knew it lacked melanin. "Who have you brought this time?" The Tetracortanian asked. HIs voice was very old and groggy. He showed a great disinterest in Urserla's idea. It was as if he had gone through this countless times before. "Father," Ursela said. "It's a very intelligent being, he says he can help us!" The elder one sighed and looked at me. "What is your name, son?" He asked. I knew he wasn't taking me seriously, so I stood up to him. "Don't you call me son." I said darkly. "I'm the Doctor. I'm a Timelord from the Planet Gallifrey, Constellation Kasterbourus. I can save your race and destroy your planet if I please. Now you give me a chance and I can help you because I already know how Tetracortanians work." Both my companions, and Ursela stood, mouths agape. The elder gave me a mortified look. "A timelord?" The elder one said slowly. "But they're...dead..." "I killed them." I said. "...and I ran, because I'm a coward, but this is the day I prove myself wrong. I'm going to save your planet whether you like it or not. Now tell me what's happening." "Well Doctor..." The elder said. "Our technology is failing...lack of power, and our bodies have been destabilized from equilibrium, causing a failure in our vital organs. The hotter it gets, the quicker we die, and the more strays can attack us." "I can help that." I said. "In fact, your planet grows grass that will supply you infinite power!" "What...you mean the Tetracore Fields?" The Elder said. "That's the planets energy! We would be invading the planet!" "No..." I corrected. "You'd be adapting." "Well then," The Elder said, smiling. "Let's get on with it!" Just...Just a little more thinking...I almost have it. Chapter 7 - A RevalationI can grasp it now...I'm almost there...The Golden Harvest...It's....It's...! After fixing the planets technology, the Tetracortanians thanked us. No troubles encountered and oddly no interruptions. "Thank you." Ursela said with a smile. She gave me a kiss, and closed the door to her home. I get kisses a lot. Most of them aren't so calm but, you know. People seem to abuse a kiss. Don't get me wrong I don't mind it at all it's just...well...I'm getting off track. Me and my companions...Did I say that right? I believe it's my companions and I...Anyway we made our way back to the TARDIS, which was fully charged by the way. Funny that, the grass seemed to be...uh...I...I don't know. We opened the door and... And... Ow my head... "Doctor, what's happening?" The Doctor's companion, Carrot Top asked in a sympathetic tone. The Doctor held his head as he looked up at her. "That dark force the Daleks were talking about..." The Doctor said. "The...dark magic...universe...thing...I think it's getting to me." He got up, and stopped the recording of his story narration. He put it in a nearby drawer and made his way to the TARDIS console room. A beautiful Mk. II Type 40 Utility TARDIS. It never got old. Every time he saw it he loved it even more. His sexy TARDIS. He only called it that when he was the only one around it though. Something was getting to his head. After a couple of hours just sitting to himself, narrating the story he just created as he was traveling with his new companions, he felt a strange sensation. Like something was getting closer. The dark force was seemingly pursuing him. How did he know? He's the Doctor, he goes by a hunch. This hunch just happened to be ten times as stressful and irritating, however. He piddled a bit with the TARDIS console, trying to remember how to work it. Carrot gave him a concerned look. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Carrot asked, walking to his side. The Doctor looked at her and smiled. "That's one thing I love about you," he said, smiling. It seemed unenthusiastic. His eye's were nearly closed, his words slurred a bit, and his mane seemed a little less fixed than what is was at first. "you never stop asking questions." He put his hoof on two switches and pulled them back. He let go of them and fell down on the floor of the TARDIS. Carrot gasped and dropped down beside him. She wasn't sure what to do. Healthy was gone for some business, and she could only sing. What was so special about singing? "Doctor!" she exclaimed, looking around frantically, looking for anything to help him with. The Doctor looked up at her. "Itz...Itz okay..." He said. "Itz...Normul for tymelowrds...to....this..." "Doctor, this isn't normal!" She said. "You're heart rate is going too fast!" "I have two hearts..." the Doctor informed her slowly. "For two hearts it's still too fast!" She said. She felt his pulse again. Still lost at what to do, she started trying to think of what he needed. 'Sleep? No.. that would just keep him away from the task at hoof... if it's that thing then...' She started to drift off, wondering once more what was so special about her. She remembered him saying something about the "Untempored Schism." He knew nearly everything, and apparently there was something about her that was special. For her to be there in that moment, at that very time. She knew something was needed. All she could do is sing though. How would that help? "I know...I know..." the Doctor said again with a sleepy voice. "I need water..." "Alright, I'll get some." Carrot Top said. She walked through a door to find some water, when she picked it up, the TARDIS began to travel. It made strange sounds as it shifted left and right, sending Carrot to the ground. "Doctor!" she called. She ran out into the console room. It was empty. She ran through the TARDIS, searching room after room and couldn't find him. "Doctor!!" she cried out. She ran to the TARDIS doors, opening them and falling out. She found herself staring into endless space. Stars and planets as far as the eye could see. She screamed before she was caught. Carrot looked up and saw the Doctor, smiling at her. "Yes?" He said, pulling her in. "Doctor why did you do that?" Carrot asked. "I thought you disappeared, and I was looking...and I fell and..." "Carrot," The Doctor replied with a soft tone of voice. "It's okay. I'm a mad man with a box, that's what I do." "But Doctor, you scared me!" she shouted. She wrapped her arms around him, squeezing him tightly. "I guess I can be scary sometimes." The Doctor replied again, hugging her back. She broke the hug and looked into his eyes. He felt a bit of guilt and gave in. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry." He said. Carrot smiled and hugged him again. "It's okay." She said. Over the course of time, the Doctor and Carrot top travelled through space. Many adventures they'd had, and many times when the Doctor just needed somepony there for him. Healthy had always been stuck doing work and couldn't handle the stress of risking his life in a time machine, however, Carrot Top was still there. The Golden Harvest. The Doctor could only tell of a few adventures they went on, for there were many, and these were his first. All of these event's happened decades and decades ago. So long even, that most of them were just minorities and barely remembered. They were always there for each other. No matter what. Countless times the Doctor would save Carrot Top's life. Countless times, Carrot Top would drag the Doctor out of a hole of regret. It was always a two way relationship. Without one, the other would fall. She remembered all of the times that the Doctor just simply sat with her when she was feeling down. She knew he cared, and he knew she cared too. All of the story telling, and the small talk, jokes, and laughing never came close to describing their adventures together. In reality, Carrot really loved the Doctor. Not in some specific way, romantically or friendly, she just loved him. Years and years of traveling never got old. In fact, every time the Doctor left, Carrot Top would find herself alone, wanting him back. It was as if he was some guardian angel. She couldn't let him go. Not now, no anytime but now. She didn't know what was wrong with him but suddenly it was better. From her years of experience, she knew something really really bad, or extremely intense was going to happen. Carrot stood on her feet, the Doctor standing at the TARDIS doors staring out into space. She walked beside him and looked. She noticed he was wearing 3D Glasses. "Doctor, why are you wearing those?" she asked, confusedly. She knew what they did, she just didn't know why he needed them at this time. "The dark magic," the Doctor said. "It contains massive amounts of void matter. That means it's not from this dimension, somepony sent it here." "Well, can we stop it?" Carrot asked. There was a small pause. Carrot looked to the Doctor who was still staring into space. "Doctor, can we stop it?" She asked again, louder. "I can't stop it." The Doctor said. He took off his glasses and handed them to Carrot. "Look at that." Carrot put on the glasses. She gasped at what she saw. All of the planets, stars and suns were blocked off by the blackness of the void matter. The dark magic was surrounding the area. "Dear Celestia...." Carrot said slowly. "Exactly." The doctor replied. Carrot took off the glasses and gave him a confused look. "Celestia should have had control of this, but she didn't. She's no goddess she's just another powerful tyrant, as are all of the other so called princesses." The Doctor paused. "But that's no matter now. You have to destroy this thing." "Wait...Me?!" Carrot exclaimed. "How do you expect ME to destroy it?!" "Why do you think I chose you?" The Doctor pointed out. Suddenly it hit him. "Because you're special. The Golden Harvest. You are the Golden Harvest!" "What is the Golden Harvest??" Carrot asked. "The words that have been following me since day one," The Doctor replied. "The words that have been swarming my mind for the past three decades, the Golden Harvest is the solution to the problem! You're walking perfection! Literally!" Carrot looked down. "But all I can do is sing...what would that do?" She said. The Doctor lifted her face until her eyes were in line with his. "You can sing them away." He said. "Go ahead. Sing them away, and send them back." Carrot was dumbfounded, but nonetheless looked out at the space. "What do I need to sing?" She asked. "Whatever comes to mind." The Doctor answered. He stood back, and watched with his glasses. Carrot cleared her throat. She didn't know what to sing, she just sung. "Vale, fateor, Et non susceperint vos hic...áureum messe, Et mittam te. Vos es miser, Numquid nunc recedent." Golden Harvest stood amazed at what she just said. She wasn't even sure what it meant. A loud crack was heard, and the dark force departed. "You did it. Carrot, you did it." "Carrot, are you alright?" "Carrot? Carrot can you hear me?!" THUD Epilogue: Goodbye for NowGolden Harvest awoke in her bed. She looked around. It was her house. She didn't remember being in her bed, she remembered being in the TARDIS, with the Doctor. Was it all a dream? She could hear a faint beeping sound beside her. She looked over and found she was restrained to the bed. She began to scream, she thought she was having a nightmare. A stallion ran in and calmed her down. A familiar face. It was Dr. Healthy. "Carrot Top, calm down...it's alright you were just in a coma." He said. "We'll get you out of your restraints when you're healthy again." With that, he walked out of the room. Carrot Top laid back. In a coma? Restrained? In her bed at home? Was the Doctor, never real? She felt a tear roll down her cheek. The Doctor she loved. He never existed. She never actually went to space, she never saved anyone, and they never went on adventures. It was all just some sort of psychotic dream. She made her way through of the restraints and rolled over on her side. She thought they were restraints, but in all reality they were just wires keeping her alive. She began to cry to herself quietly. She would have preferred to stay in a coma than to live thinking about her Doctor forever, knowing he wasn't real. She kept crying until she heard a faint wrrring sound. Wrrrrr.....wrrrr-r-r-rrrr Her ears perked up. Such an odd noise, and so familiar. She listened closely as the noise got louder. Wrrrr....wrrr-rrr-rrr-r-rrr Was it... Vooor-r-r-rp Vooor-r-rp... It had to be... VOOOR-R-R-R-RRRP VOOOR-R-R-R-RRRP THUD She heard a loud thud, and a creak. Then hoofsteps. Walking into her house, and slowly ascending the stairs. She noticed a small drop of water sustained in the air. She looked at her heart monitor, it was still. The beeping stopped. All she heard were the echoes of the hoofsteps. She looked up and couldn't believe it. She almost cried in joy as the stallion who came around the door, the Doctor, looked at her, smiling. "Hello." He said. He walked to her. "It's nice to see you again." "D...Doctor!" She stuttered, crying and smiling at the same time. She pulled herself up and wrapped her arms around him. He didn't hug her back. "Doctor, what's wrong?" She asked, as she was confused that he didn't give her a hug. "Nothing, I just don't like hugs." He said. He pulled back and gave her a kiss on her forehead. "Why not?" Carrot asked. "Just another way of hiding your face from somepony." The Doctor replied, then paused. "Anyway, I came here to tell you Goodbye." "Wh...what?" Carrot asked. She was lost at why he would say such a thing. "Why?!" "Not forever." The Doctor said. "But I have...things to attend to." He looked at his hoof which was glowing a bit. "I'll see you again." "Doctor! Don't leave me!" Carrot cried, her eyes watering."I still need you!" "No." The Doctor said. "I needed you, and now you've helped me. I will see you again, but now..." The Doctor raised his hoof again, it was glowing brighter. "Until next time." "Doctor wait!" Carrot said. "I love you..." "Don't love me." The Doctor replied. "I don't deserve it." He began to walk out of the room. Carrot kept screaming to him, as he walked out. It hurt him, but it was for her own good. "Goodbye." The Doctor said, before leaving. Carrot Top screamed, tears flowing from her eyes. "Doctor! Come back! Don't leave me here Doctor!!" She shouted, she began to weep as she knew it was hopeless. He wasn't coming back. VOOOORP VOOOORP VOOORP VOORP VORP Wrrr....rrrr....rrr....rr... If she only knew what harm would come of her... The Doctor closed his TARDIS door and put it into Temporal Mid-Shift. His body glowing, he took a deep breath. "Thought I would have lasted a little longer..." he said, breathing slowly and heavily. "Guess....I have to readjust." He closed his eyes tight. Shouting loudly, he unleashed the regenerative molecules and began to regenerate. The Thirteenth Doctor was gone, and the Fourteenth was about to make an entrance. Chapter 1: The Timelord's VisitThe Golden Harvest...
Carrot can you hear me?!" THUD
Epilogue: Goodbye for NowGolden Harvest awoke in her bed.
