The origins of Equestria

In the land of Equestria lives a princess, just like an ordinary princess except she was pregnant.since she didn't exactly like the title ruler or queen, she preferred Princess (makes her sound younger).  She had a few problems on her hoofs, one of them was that she was a single parent, well her husband, used to be the captain of the royal guards. they were married for a year before King Sombra came and attacked their kingdom (Canterlot), and as he was part of the royal guards he died...not a very splendid death but the princess soon fought back using the elements of harmony against him, to send him the the depths of the earth. She represented all traits of harmony, magic, loyalty, kindness, honesty, generosity and laughter, she was selfless she would never lie never leave others for her dream and loves the make the royal guards laugh.

But after she found out she was pregnant...

Time warp to 8 mouths back

The princess waited in the waiting room for the doctors results "Your highness," bowed the doctor as she walked back into the waiting room

"you may rise," The princess nodded "So what are the results? what's going to happen! AM I PREG-!" The doctor stuck a thermometer in her mouth, not to take her temperature but to shut her up,

"Well Princess Starlight,i will have to announce that you ARE pregnant," The doctor put more enthusiasm in the are than then rest of the sentence. Starlight started to freak, she spat out the thermometer as she started to panic, "What am I going to do! I have  Canterlot to rule! i cant look after my own foal! im single!"

"Princess if you would please calm dow-"

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN I HAVE A FOAL ON THE WAY AND PRACTICALLY THE FAINT OF EQUESTRIA IS IN MY HOOFS!" she put her hoof over the doctor as she continued the freak out

"Princess stop saying foal your not having one," the doctor removed the princesses hoof away from her mouth

"Wa wa wa wa wait! you mean i am NOT having a foal," the princess calmed down a bit

"well lets say your having two foals" the doctor went silent,the room went silent, the princesses eye was twitching.

"Excuss me doctor, i have a very important meeting with the griffins...yeah the griffins and if im late there could be war!" the princess hated to lie to other ponies like that but sometimes to lie helps than to tell the truth. without further ado the princess walked outside spread her wings and flew back to canterlot castle.

Present time

Starlight Awaited in the castle grounds to welcome The crystal princess, Princess emeraldas, they were going to discuss the emerald and crystal currency in the crystal empire as for the bits currency for canterlot. The princess started to feel aces and pains through her stomach witch often stopped her in her steps but she didn't really pay much attention to it.Princess Starlight walked to the balcony of  the castle and saw a gleaming crystal chariot flying through the sky.

"Princess Starlight!" Yelled a familiar voice, as the princess eyes started to focus on the chariot, as the pony came into view she just managed to see emeraldas by her green sparkling coat and her flowing lime mane.

"Princess emeraldas!" yelled starlight as she flew over to the landing base. as they landed they both gave each other and respectful bow as Starlight showed emeraldas into the castle.

The halls were very quiet and very dull,

"so Emeraldas, hows is it going in the crystal empire,any attacks or anything?" Starlight thought quick to start a conversation before they headed to the meeting room,

"Oh starlight you and your awkward silence thing, never gets old, but by the way its fine," emeraldas stopped and paused for a minute and thought "So starlight how is you pregnancy going?" she said as a smile was lay upon each others fact, as emeraldas hit starlight very softly on her front leg so soft that she wouldn't really feel it,

"Oh yeah i think im really close, not that im looking forward to it, i wonder how my mother must of felt i had a huge horn when i was a filly, i bet my mother couldn't use her hind quarters for a week!" starlight started laughing as emeraldas soon started killing her self of laughing as they both continued walking down the hall the laughing echoed through every little passage and every little crack,

"Starlight if its a filly and a colt what would you call them?" emeraldas trying to calm her self down

"well if the girl had a coat like the  night, Luna if the boy had a coat like the night, midnight and if it were daylight the girl would be celestia and the boy solar,"  the princess smiled as she put her hoof around her stomach, princess emeraldas liked the names but was also puzzled on why she was putting her hoof around her stomach.

"Erm star, tell me something. why do you keep putting you hoof around you stomach?"

"Well recently i have been getting lots of pains and its starting to strain my magic and flying and for that matter walking!" the princess almost collapsed on her hoofs but wont let no pain bring princess starlight down the princess paused for a minute,

"im pretty sure the pain means nothing,"she let off a little nervous laugh as if she didn't know what she was saying, the girls endlessly chatted about there lives like the ponies they have defeated the elements of harmony the crystal heart and the fate of equestria.

Until this one topic came up,

"Hey Starlight i got one question?"

"yeah what is is emeraldas? anything go on!" starlight stopped and stared at her friend,

"Well its just that dont you have to raise the moon? because is like 8pm and the sun is usually setting by now," emeraldas said with a confused look on her face,

"Oh my...your right, look emeraldas im sorry but i think we will have to reschedule to next we-" suddenly a huge wall of pain hit Princess starlight,was this it was this the end of princess starlight?

"OH my the pain!" Princess starlight bellowed

"i think its the babies!" Said emeraldas, as quick as she did emeraldas called a few royal guards as she commanded them to escort them both to the nearest hospital. Princess starlight couldn't hold on to her conciousness any more, she was out, like a light...
