You hear stories, whispers even. Well we are here to tell you such a tail. The story you are about to here has not been falsified in anyway. Who are we, We are the keeps of knowledge-past, present, and future. But the story we wish to tell to you today is the start. Two brothers, torn apart at the beginning though their fate is tied, there destiny is much more different. The story begins with the tale of zephyr, a young alicorn twisted at birth to conceal his birth right as the first son. A Royal guard shouts, "My princess we have to get you an the young lord out of here." The young white princess trips, and a dark blue, new born colt falls off her back, the white mare shouts "GO get my son outa here, if his father catches him.... than all will be lost to us." The royal guard picks up the new born an runs off into the dark foggy night.    Now can you guess who the white mare is, right its princess celestia, mother to the new born zephyr. What does any of this have to do with the story, well with every yang, there is a yin, every wind, a star.   We fast-forward a few years to when nightmare moon ruled. Nightmare Moon laughs "haha you art a fool sister, nothing shell vanquish my power nor my rule, naa you, or anyone" Celestia stands up badly bruised an beaten "you forget your place, my younger sister, my magic is more than that which you can imagine" celestias eyes glow and the elements of harmony swirl around her casting a ray that banishes Nightmare Moon, to the moon. Later that night, celestia gets an odd feeling of nightmare moons essence, she travels to nightmare moons lair. Looking around, she thinks to herself, 'If my sister is indeed banished, why do i still feel her presence.' A small voice shouts from behind a cobble pillar "Mother? is... is that you?" A young white alicorn with purple hair, and purple tinted feathers pokes his head out "Your not my mother, go away. Your not supposed to be here... leave before i destroy you." The young alicorn try's to cast a spell, but he only just manages to get a tiny spark, celestia laughs, "My dear boy, how is it that you would destroy me with a broken horn?" She looks at the young colt and smiles, "What's your name?" The young colt stands strong an proud. "I am Astral, young prince of this new world to come, son of Nightmare Moon." Astral slams his hoof to the ground, "and your future ruler!" Didn't see that coming did you? We the keepers did. Now how do you think this would turn out? Maybe Zephyr, the true first blood would find out who he is, where he belongs, become a hero, smite evil where it stands, or Astral, son of Nightmare Moon would become a villain and finish where his mother left off? She kicks him out of the bed, the covers go flying with him as he lands on the floor "You spoiled, prince" He jumps up on all fours, covers still covering him, he's facing the opposite way from rainbow dash, he points thinking he's pointing at her, "call me spoiled, one more time" his speech muffled by the covers. Rainbow dash laughs "babe, I'm over here" taps her hoof on the cloud floor of the bed room. Astral flings the cover looks around making sure of were she is, points again "call me spoiled one more time" rainbow dash kisses his nose, whispers in his ear "spoiled" Astral just sighs "why is today so important anyway..... All aunty wants to do is have a camping thing in the royal gardens.. not much i haven't done before" he stretches out his body than his wings, "yeah well this is the first time we have all gotten everyone together in a long time, an the first time we have gotten to see the night sky from cantorlot... an you know how rarity is" rainbow dash reply's. astral yawns "fine.. lets get this cloud thing over with so we can get there an help aunty set up" rainbow dash an Astral dart out the door to do there daily cloud control. Later that day rainbow dash an astral show up at the castle, luna and celestia are there to greet them both "my son how are you?" luna asked as she reached to hug him, "I'm well mother" he nods an gives her a smile he looks to his aunt, "aunty anything i can help you do to set up for to night?" celestia smiles " yes there's much to be done" a few hours later we find our self in the garden. tents, a telescope, an a pile of twilight's books are seen strewn about, astral stares into the sky still thinking about the past war. he gets a hard punch to his right shoulder "Its not like you to day dream brother" a dark blue alicorn appears "what are you thinking about?" he smiles at astral. "Nothing brother, just past scars i wish could heal" astral gets up an starts to walk over to the fire where everyone is seated, he looks around seeing everyone having a good time laughing and enjoy them-self's. rainbow dash sees him an gives him a loving smile "she reminds you a lot of her, don't she?" astral looks over to the dark blue colt "she does.... more than i wish she did... Zephyr let me ask you....." zephyr looks at astral with a half eaten smore in his mouth "hummm?" astral laughs "never-mind, another time maybe" he finally joins the group. "So can i get a smore?" astral asks, zephyr smacks him in the head with the bag of marshmallows "only if you can get the mellow of the marshy goodness from me" zephyr takes off running, astral takes off after him "give them here, or ill beat you like your father should have" zephyr turns and gives astral a serious look "bro.... that's harsh...." and runs away again laughing. Luna jumps from the tall tower "astral stop that at once that is not how a prince acts" celestia chuckles "dear sister let them be, its high time they finally forget an just be kids" sweetiebell looks at celestia an asks "what mean just be kids there like 900 years old aren't they?" rarity interjects "sweetiebell don't be rude" luna smiles "its fine, an to what you ask? well see astral an zephyr didn't have a good child hood, see they ended up fighting a war me an my sister started" twilight jumps up "ohohoh i think i have this book" she pulls out a book entitled 'The War for Middle Equestria' "but there was nothing in there about astral or zephyr" celestia sighed "well that book was only allowed a few key facts, see astral an zephyr were the reasons the wars kept going?" sweetiebell smiled "can you tell us the real story please?" astral an zephyr stop fighting an return to the group zephyr still has the bag of marshmallows, rainbow dash laughed "you know you didn't stand a chance, no one comes between zephyr an his marshmallows" astral sighed "was worth a shot, so whats everyone talking about" sweetiebell jumped up "celestias going to tell a story" astral smiled "awesome i love my aunts story's, whats it going to be to night?" sweetiebell answered "its the story of the war with you an zephyr" astral sighed "great........ as if i hadn't been though that enough" zephyr swallows "quit your whining, you don't hear me complaining do you" astral snares "its easy for you!!! your friends didn't die trying to protect you" astral gets up an walks away, celestia watches him leave, applebloom looks at sweetiebelle "your not the brightest sweetiebelle" celestia sighs "see long ago astral was a point of hope for our land, he was a beacon of light when a greater evil " the smoke from the camp fire swirls around, an images from the past start to appear as celestia tells the story of astral. //-------------------------------------------------------// The First Encounter //-------------------------------------------------------// The First Encounter bells ring, fires are eropting in a small village, a young guard yells "HURRY WE MUST GET WATER ON THOSE FIRES, WE NEED TO HOLD THESE GROUNDS TO THE VALKIRE SQU.."a wild arrow strikes the young guard, as a group of brutish meroauders invade the village, a cloaked colt steps over the fallen guard "Sir, this village is ours, should i round up the man wemon, an children?" a masked pony runs an stand near the colt, the colt snorts "men yes, kill the rest" the masked pony bows and runs off, an like the the muradors disappear as quick as they arived the valkryi squad arrive as quick as they could the leader takes his helmit off an looks around as building smolder, an bodys lay dead "we were to late... again" astral says as he picks up a young girls doll, "we will get these guys astral" a white pegsus with green eyes takes his shoulder "serentity i wont let them get away with this" he looks to the rest of his team, each of the other 5 pegisus are white but each with different colors and armour, senetity is white with green eyes an her feathers have a green two tone tint to them, she wears leather armour being shes from a small earth pony village it keeps her lite and swift a personal prefferance, the next if raven he is a white and black pegisus with almost black eye with harded steel armour and a gaint claymore he has been by astrals side since astral came out of hideing an has protected him by request of celestia an dully so raven has been a battled hardn'd pugisus since his youth, next is star dust he is white and blue and the newest to the group hes young an reckless but that gives him a edge an battle he spent his youth with star swerll training to do what most pegisus could use magic an with his robes an pendent neckless he can which is why astral himself recruted him, lastly are the twins dusk, and dawn, they have a nack for staying out of sight the are both white and red and wear armour of a dark nature, black crystal, black crystal has naural steath enchantments which is only found in there home in the caves of crystal empire back before it disappeared.
