I hate the sun!
Celestia had just rised the sun and Luna had fallen into a deep sleep, Luna covered her eyes as the violent rays of the sun shone onto her green eyes. The sound of birds chriping irritated her even more, the princess went under her blanket but the stomping of hooves woke her up, a slight frown took shape on Lunas mouth. "Who dares wake me up, I hate waking up early so I would appreciate you not to walk so loud!" Luna closed her eyes and tried once more to fall asleep. Ear piercing knocks filled the room and the the doors opened to shine more sunlight into Lunas eyes. "Who is it now!"
The guard jumped back a few steps to see the anger on Lunas face "I apologize Princess Luna, but your sister Princess Celestia has ordered you to speak with her."
Luna rolled her eyes, she didnt want to be woken up so early just to talk to her sister "Okay, thank you, you may leave, I shall speak to Celestia shortly" The guard walked out of her room and shut the doors, "Im sure 5 more minutes won`t do any harm!" 5 minutes soon turned to a hour. Thundering stomps woke Luna up.
"Luna, I hope you would have more responsibility, I had a guard wake you up and come to me immediately!"
"Oh, i`m sorry, I just fell asleep for 5 minutes!"
"One hour"
"Okay, so what do you want, we`ll talk here."
Celestia walked round Lunas bed and sat down "Luna, ive seen how gloomy and grumpy youve been, so I have a idea."
Lunas heart sank, she wasn`t going to like what her sister was going to pronounce."And what is it?!"
"Im going to send you to ponyville for 6 months, youll love it, you wanted to know more about modern society well now is your chance!"
"6 months! I can`t go away for 6 months, how will you rule without me!?"
Celestia cocked her eyebrow "Ive ruled without you for 1000 years, im sure I can rule for 6 months with your absence, look i`m doing this for you, you have been so stressed and cheerless for the past few weeks."
"And where will I stay?"
"At Fluttershys home, you know her! Its peaceful and sunny,its basically a vacaction for you!
Luna gave a out a sigh, "I`ll miss you, I guess it is for the best, I really have been in the blue, thanks" The two sisters embraced each other.
"You`ll leave tomorrow morning"
Luna woke up early, she actually felt really happy for the first time in weeks! "I`ll see you in 6 months, goodbye my dear sister!"
"Goodbye, I hope you enjoy your stay in Ponyville"
Luna sat on her carriage, there her journey began. "Ah, theres her house!" Luna stepped off the carriage and waved her bat ponies goodbye. Fluttershys home was full of birds and animals, it was so peaceful and sunny! Although seeing her house made Luna want to go back, this was her nightmare! She walked to Fluttershys house reluctantly and gave a few knocks. The door opened, Lunas heart raced, she didnt know what her home looked like inside, it was her first time going in! A yellow pegasus opened the door.
"Hello Princess Luna, youve come to vist, im so exicted! Though I didn`t make anything to eat yet and my house is a mess.
"Oh no, i`ve come to live with you for 6 months!"
Fluttershys jaw dropped, "6 months, I didn`t know this!"
"I thought Celestia had mailed a letter?"
"No, this was completely unexpected , well come in." Luna walked into Fluttershys home, she saw all sorts of animals, it was actually kinda noisey rather than peaceful. A rabbit stood in Lunas way and started screaming and stomping around.
"I`m so sorry, Angle was grumpy because she wanted her favourite lunch I was going to go food shopping, would you like to come?"
"Hmm, i`ve never been to a commoners market, I suppose I shall accompany you."
Luna and Fluttershy walked to the market, it was silence between them, "So, what`s it like at a market?"
"You mean you`ve never been shopping before?"
"Urhm..no, I havn`t, I usally get my servants to get my food and prepare."
Fluttershys ears bent down, this meant that she would be Lunas servant for the next 6 months, "Oh, so, what`s it like in a castle?"
"Boring, theres hardly anything to do, its work, work and work!"
"So thats why you came, I guarantee youll enjoy Ponyville!"
They came to a stop, here were tents and tables full of vegetables and fruits, "what do you need?"
"I need this right here, carrots"
The cashier looked up at fluttershy and scoffed "That will be 10 bits."
The princess`s eyes widened "That is outrageous only a fool, would pay such a price!"
"P-P-Princess L-Luna!"
"Yes, now lower the price or we will leave!"
"Oh, no, no, no don`t leave here take a few carrots, there on the house!"
"Thank you for your generosity iIt shall be remembered!" Next was lettuce."
The pony looked up at Princess Luna flabbergasted at such a sight, "Oh my goodness, it`s Princess Luna, "Here take these!" After a trip round the market, both ponies ended up spending nothing and full of vegetables that were for free.
Fluttershy lookshy down and kicked a a small rock "I feel guilty for taking these.."
Luna tilted her head, why would she feel such gulit? "They gifted it to us, lets go back!"
It had been a quick afternoon, Luna fell asleep. "Umm, Luna, it`s so sunny, why would you fall asleep on a day like this!"
Luna rolled her eyes, "im the princess of the night, so Im awake at night and asleep in morning"
"Well I think you should change your sleep timetable, come on."
"Where to..?"
"To singing practice of course!"
"Singing practice?"
